There was nothing that Bruno Madrigal loved more than finally being able to get off from work and going back home to his wife Elsa. His pregnant wife. His beautiful pregnant wife. Sometimes Bruno couldn't believe that he and Elsa were gonna be parents since they only just recently married a month ago and didn't talk about kids yet but despite that, they were both still very excited about their little guy or girl. And since Elsa was already in her 7th month, it wouldn't be too much longer. Bruno though constantly worried about Elsa and the baby always being alone at the house that he had given up his night shift and only took afternoons. So, every time at 5:00, he'd quickly drop everything, clock out and get going.

On the way back home, Bruno would text Elsa over and over, checking to see how she was doing. Elsa would text back, reminding him not to worry and that both she and the baby were doing fine. Bruno knew he needed to relax more but this was their first child and he couldn't help but worry about something bad happening to the two people he loved most in the world. To put Bruno's mind at ease, Elsa would also send him a picture of her swollen belly to assure him she was still very pregnant. The baby was moving and the world hadn't ended. While it did comfort Bruno, it still didn't mean anything bad could happen to Elsa though. Bruno looked up at the traffic ahead wishing it would go faster.

Inside one certain house, Elsa Madrigal was in the kitchen, making dinner for her and her husband Bruno. Or was trying to since Bruno kept texting her. She knew Bruno was only looking out for her and their baby but she wished she could do the littlest tasks without Bruno constantly panicking left and right. But other times, she didn't mind Bruno wanting to help. Since she was near her eighth month, some things were becoming hard for her. Reaching for stuff, having to stand up from a chair, her aching back and swollen ankles, sweeping the floor but Bruno helped her out with all of that and it usually made her realize how lucky she was to having a great guy for a husband to begin with. But fussing over her while she was cooking? That was a little extreme.

Elsa had resumed cooking when she heard the door close and saw Bruno coming into the kitchen. She smiled lovingly then turned away, pretending not to notice him arriving. She hummed casually and kept stirring the pot. She then felt two familar hands wrap around her belly. She chuckled then laid against Bruno's chest, smirking, still acting like he wasn't there.

"Hmm. I wonder who's behind me."

"Who do you think?" Bruno asked.

Bruno kissed Elsa's neck up and down as she let out a soft pleasant moan, starting to soak into his touch and his kisses. Elsa chuckled then she placed both her hands against Bruno's that still were cupping onto her belly from behind, then she turned sideways to kiss Bruno's cheek.

"Welcome back." Elsa greeted.

Bruno kissed Elsa's cheek back then had returned to kissing her neck. After doing so, he then nuzzled his nose against her hair, inhaling her welcoming scent as he gently massaged the swell where their unborn child was.

"Been thinking about you guys all day." Bruno said.

"As if the texts weren't a dead giveaway." Elsa joked.

Bruno chuckled sheepishly then he turned Elsa around then placed his hands against her waist. Elsa laid her hands against Bruno's chest where his heart was as they stared at each other.

"I know I need to work on that." Bruno admitted, shrugging.

"It's okay. I don't mind it. It's sweet. You're sweet." Elsa said with an affectionate smile, tapping Bruno on the nose.

Bruno drew Elsa closer, being mindful of her belly between them, then had kissed her softly. Just as they were about to lose each other in the moment by deepening the kiss, the timer on the stove had beeped. Elsa and Bruno had pulled away then Bruno had removed a strand of Elsa's hair away from her eyes.

"Why don't you go rest on the couch, corazon? I can handle the rest of the cooking."

"Bruno..."

"Mi vida, you've been on your feet for awhile. You also need to relax." Bruno pointed out.

Elsa would be lying if she said she wasn't tired. Also, between making dinner and setting the table, her ankles were beginning to swell. Another evident sign she needed to take a break. Elsa sighed then she touched Bruno's cheek.

"Okay." Elsa said, nodding.

"I'll let you know when it's ready."

Bruno kissed Elsa's forehead then her lips. Elsa then had gone into the living room and over to the couch. The moment she laid down, her eyes began drooping. She watched Bruno making dinner for a second then had begun resting her eyes while she waited.

An hour later, after dinner was finished, both Elsa and Bruno had gone over to the couch to spend some time with their unborn son or daughter. While Elsa laid against the comfortable pillows to help with her back, her top was now rolled up exposing the skin of her ample stomach. Bruno was resting his head against her belly, rubbing it gently. He loved Elsa's pregnant belly, stretch marks and all. It made his heart swell that their baby was growing inside of there. Elsa had smiled warmly at her husband while she treaded her fingers against his hair lazily.

"Papi's here, mi princesa or mi principe." Bruno cooed to Elsa's belly.

Bruno kissed Elsa's belly making her giggle at the sensation. Bruno continued laying his head against the large bump, his ear pressed against it. He could hear the baby's small heartbeat and feel the faintest flutter or hiccup. It was a wonderful sensation he never grew tired of. Bruno's eyes focused on Elsa, marveling at her beautiful glow and content smile. He loved her. It reminded him of the way she looked at their wedding. He could stare at her forever. A kick from the baby interrupted their romantic gaze. Bruno's eyes had shifted back down to Elsa's belly.

"Papi's still here, carino." Bruno murmured softly to their unborn child.

"They really love the sound of your voice." Elsa said, chuckling quietly.

"They also love it when you sing to them." Bruno added, looking back up at Elsa.

"I bet they'll love it when you sing to them too."

"Oh, I'm not much of a singer..."

"You can try." Elsa encouraged.

Bruno gave a small warm smile towards Elsa then he had looked back down at her belly. Bruno then began to sing a lullaby in Spanish. It was his parents' love song. His M'ma used to sing that to him and his sister all of the time when they were babies to help them sleep. Elsa did not understand what Bruno was singing but his voice was so soothing and full of love that she just stared down at the sight of Bruno bonding with their baby like it was the cutest thing she'd ever seen. No, it was the cutest thing she'd ever seen. And it seemed the baby was enjoying it as well like Elsa imagined. She could feel the baby turning and kicking inside her.

"They're listening to you, sweetie." Elsa whispered in a singsong tone.

Bruno had stopped singing then had looked to see if Elsa was indeed right. It didn't take long for him to feel the baby kicking. Bruno had given Elsa's belly another gentle kiss.

"Do you like it when Papi sings to you, mi amor?"

Bruno could feel the baby kicking and kicking. It always amazed him with how energetic their kid was already. Elsa then gave a small grunt of discomfort. Bruno looked over at his wife in concern.

"You alright, mi vida?" Bruno asked.

"I'm okay. The baby's just starting to get a little too active." Elsa replied, letting out another groan.

Bruno looked at Elsa worriedly then he had rested his back against her belly, rubbing it in a slow and gentle circular motion. The two could then feel the baby beginning to slow down. Elsa gave a sigh of relief then she looked at Bruno gratefully.

"Thanks."

"Maybe they're getting tired."

"Think you're right."

While Bruno rubbed Elsa's belly to soothe their baby. Elsa then looked like she remembered something as she yet again stroked Bruno's hair, looking over at him.

"I found two other names for the baby today."

"Really? What?" Bruno asked curiously, looking up at Elsa.

"Well, after going through book after book, two certain names just suddenly crossed my mind."

"What names?"

"Daniela for a girl and Gabriel for a boy."

Bruno thought about this. Daniela or Gabriel. Bruno repeated the names in his head. He came up with names for the baby himself but these two certain names just sounded...perfect. So fitting.

"Daniela or Gabriel." Bruno echoed.

The moment he had said that, he could feel the baby moving against his palm, as if responding and giving its own opinion. Elsa had felt it too then had chuckled.

"Daniela or Gabriel. Do you like that, corazon?" Bruno asked their unborn child.

The baby's response was a strong kick. Elsa groaned but then laughed followed by Bruno. Bruno had then kissed Elsa's belly.

"I think we'll take that as a 'yes'."

The baby kicked again. Bruno then had placed his hand against Elsa's belly then Elsa had placed her hand on top of his, locking them together over where their energetic baby was.

"We can't wait to meet you, Daniela or Gabriel." Bruno whispered.

"No. Daniela and Gabriel." Elsa whispered back.

Bruno looked up at Elsa in surprise, making sure he heard right. Elsa gave a little nod then looked down at her belly where their hands still were.

"Bruno, say 'hello' to your twins."

Bruno's mind was reeling. But in a good way. He just found out that he and Elsa were not having one baby, but two. Twins. Their son and daughter. Bruno's eyes filled with tears of joy which Elsa followed suit.

"I don't think I could be more anxious for them to get here now." Bruno said, voice breaking.

"Why don't you let them know that?"

Bruno had rested his back against Elsa's belly, now feeling both of their babies move. He couldn't believe he missed that before and it did explain why Elsa was having more discomfort than usual. Knowing that his wonderful wife was carrying two equally wonderful babies, he loved her more...if that was even possible. This was the greatest way they could ever begin their new lives together.

"Hola Daniela and Gabriel." Bruno whispered to the twins.

And the rest of the afternoon and the night in that house was spent with Bruno and Elsa paying attention nothing else but their babies, Daniela and Gabriel and dreaming of all the little moments they would spend together as a family.
