Elle Woods is a perfectionist. She needs to have everything neat and tidy. But sometimes it doesn't work out like that. Here she was sitting in her apartment trying to study for her last exam at Harvard. She needed to pass it. This would prove to everyone what she has been working towards.

2 hours later Elle finds herself unproductive. Every little thing distracts her and she can't seem to focus. "Maybe I should put on my study playlist." She says to herself. But 30 minutes later and that still doesn't seem to work.

"Ahhh!!" She screams. "I can't do this. Why did I think I could graduate, this is no use." Tears form in her eyes, waiting to come out.

Next to her Bruiser barks noticing her breakdown. She looks at him, sensing his concern. "Shhh, I'm okay Bruiser. I'm just being ridiculous." Elle checks the time noticing it's already 6:00. "Since I can't get anything done, guess I should make dinner because Emmett will be home soon." She heads to the kitchen. Looking through the pantry and refrigerator, she decides on making spaghetti and meatballs. Simple and easy. She certainly doesn't have enough energy to go all out anyway.

30 minutes later, Emmett walks in. "Elle! I'm home!" He hears a quiet voice telling him that she is in the kitchen. Making his way to the kitchen he hears sniffing. Confused, Emmett walks faster. When he walks into the dining room, he sees Elle sitting in a chair with her head down.

Crying.

Worry crosses his face. He walks over to her and puts his hands on her shoulders. Elle freezes. He doesn't know if she wants comfort right now, but he's Emmett, so he needs to know if she's okay. Just then her head flys up and her hands go around his waist while she presses her face into his chest. He puts his hands around her and kisses her head. "Elle, sweetheart? What's wrong?" He hears a muffled noise. "I don't know what you said." She raises her head but doesn't look at her. "I'm so stressed out right now. Everyone expects me to be perfect but I don't know if I can. I couldn't even make dinner without breaking down in tears."

Emmett put his finger under Elle's chin and lifts her face up so he can look into her eyes. He put his thumbs on her cheeks and wiped the tears that are rolling down. "Elle Woods, you are an amazing and brilliant women, do not ever think you're not." He smiles before continuing. "Everyone gets stressed. I can tell you I was definitely stressed. But you will get through it. You have conquered anything that gets in the way of you graduating." She laughs.

"I'm sorry, Em. I guess Im just being a little silly." Emmett shakes his head. "You're not being silly, it's law school, it's not supposed to be easy but you're almost done. You've made it this far, the easiest part is finishing it." Suddenly, Elle pulls his face down and presses her lips to his.

It was sweet and full of love. They both smile in it. A few moments later, Elle pulls away and looks up at him. "Why do you always have to be right?" Emmett laughed. "You already know the answer to that. I love you." Elle smiles, "I love you too."

The rest of the night carried on like it always does. They decided to order pizza. When it came they sat on the couch, cuddled and ate.

Even later that night, they curled into bed, exhausted from the day. And as Emmett fell asleep with Elle in his arms, he felt like he was exactly where he needed to be.

In a few days this will probably happen again. Elle will get stress and freak out. Emmett will probably have to help her study and wipe her tears when she cries again. But Emmett knows that he wouldn't want to be anywhere else than with her. And that's 100% true.
