Out on the open sea, you'd expect it to be quiet, even calm; yet on the ship, it was anything but. The noises of men yelling filled the air as members of the crew hurried up and down the smoldering remains of the once-mighty vessel. Carrying buckets of water that they tossed over the side in an attempt to keep the ship afloat long enough to make it to the docks. While others used their firebending in a feeble attempt to weld the holes in the ship shut to avoid taking in more water.

Throughout this chaos, one man sat still in the center of the ship with an oddly calm demeanor. It was Iroh, and in front of Iroh stood a much more agitated boy with a clear scar on his face; The exiled Prince Zuko stood tall with a look of pure rage as he looked towards the port lamenting over his failed attempt to capture the Avatar at the South Pole. "Betrayed by a mere child," he thought to himself, but before he could brood any longer, his thoughts were cut short as his uncle called out to him. "Zuko, we will be arriving at the port shortly, and we have been informed that Commander Zhao will be meeting us when we dock." Iroh stated with a smile. "Don't you see, Uncle? I have no time to talk to him. We are only making this stop to fix the ship, restock supplies, and then head out to the North." Zuko replied with a frustrated tone. At that, Iroh simply walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I believe we don't have a choice." Iroh stated as he pointed towards the dock; Zuko looked only to see a small group of Fire Nation soldiers waiting for them, with Commander Zhao in the middle. Zuko gritted his teeth as he made his way to the ship's entrance to begrudgingly talk to the commander, with Iroh close behind.

They left the ship once it had docked, watching mechanics rush past him and into the still-smoking ship. As they stood there, Zuko warned them not to say a word about the Avatar, fearing he might have competition. The commander walked over with his usual smug expression. "Hello, young prince," he stated, "and the great hero of our nation." Retired general," Iroh corrected. "The emperor's brother and son. What brings you to my harbor?" Zhao questioned. "Our ship is being repaired," Iroh answered. "My, that's a lot of damage." Zhao pointed out. "Yes, you wouldn't believe what happened." Zuko exclaimed before looking to his uncle and giving him a small nudge. "Ah! Yes, it was incredible... did we crash or something?" Iroh stated, looking at Zuko. "Yes! Right into an Earth Kingdom ship!" Zuko answered. "Really? You must regale to me all the thrilling details perhaps over tea?" Zhao queried. "We have no time for tea," Zuko stated bluntly, only to be cut off by his uncle. "Zuko, show Commander Zhao some respect, do you have any ginseng tea? It's my favorite." Iroh said as he walked with the commander, forcing Zuko to tag along.

We cut to Zuko and Iroh sitting in Commander Zhao's quarters with guards at the exits. What Zuko finds interesting is the single guard standing right beside Zhao, silently watching with a blank expression. Studying her, he notices a small pouch of water on her left hip. He also picks up on her unusual appearance; darker, more tan skin and blue eyes with long, dark brown hair tied in a bun. Even her armor is different from the others, less bulky and more lightweight, built for speed and maneuverability, yet leaving her open to an attack should one land. Before he can ponder any further, Zhao grabs their attention. "So, would you two like some tea?" Before Zuko could even open his mouth, Iroh jumps up and exclaims, "We would love some tea!" Iroh says with a smile. At that, Zhao looks to the guard to his left, "Get us some tea," Zhao orders the guard with a rather rude tone, yet the guard doesn't even bat an eye as she bows, "Yes, Commander Zhao, right away." She calmly states as she walks to the far wall of the room where the tea pot stands.

They had their cups already in hand, and Zuko expected her to walk back to fill them; to his confusion, she opened the lid to the teapot and hovered her hand over it. At this point, even Iroh stared with curious eyes, while Commander Zhao only sat in silence with his usual smug grin. Just as Zuko was about to ask what she was doing, he saw something that he could have never seen coming. As she lifted her hand, the tea lifted with it, congregating in a bubble floating above the teapot. Even Iroh seemed surprised as she slowly moved her hand toward them, the tea following, floating toward them. And as she stretched out her palm, the tea separated into three small streams, each going into one of the three cups. As Zuko and Iroh sat in shock, the cups filled with tea, and she pulled back her hand, causing the three streams to recoil back toward her, leaving three perfectly filled cups of tea. As the streams came together to form a smaller bubble, which she quickly put back in the pot, her hand falling gently down to her side. She then closed the lid and walked back to Commander Zhao's side, leaving them all sitting in silence as Zhao took a sip of his tea.
