6 years after the second battle of hoover dam in 2288, The legion has taken Mojave and destroyed the Hub decimating the NCR's Currency slowly killing the Bear. Riots have taken place in every New California city, Raider gangs grow in number, The Brotherhood war looks to be in the brotherhood's favor more and more every day. The NCR is dying.

Caesar has taken The New Vegas Strip renaming it Rome, The Legion's triumph. Rome was now the capital of Caesar's Legion. Thanks to the Mojave Legate Nuntius. The Legion occupied all major locations, enslaving half of the population and peacefully lording over the rest. Under the Legion's banner, Civilization, as limiting as it was, Finally came to the Mojave.

The Legion marched over the dam with the help of one who was merciless and brutal as the worst of them. The Courier. Caesar honored him with a new coin, minted in his likeness and distributed throughout the wasteland.

Caesar was cautious after the Boomer's display of power at Hoover Dam, The Legion made a fruitful trading relationship taking the place of Crimson Caravan trading weapons for food, water and even slaves.

Caesar after the battle for hoover dam allowed the followers a safe passage out of the Mojave. out of respect for his old friends? They did not know, But they reluctantly took it and fled.

The Great Khans were the 88th tribe brought into the legion. the sick and elderly killed. The women made slaves and men trained into more troops.

The Courier after killing the deserter Ulysses, Decided to use the nuke in the divide to bring more death and destruction to the wasteland. The Courier aimed the nuke at NCR's Heart The Hub. The destruction to The Hub brought down the already diminishing currency to zero. Causing mass riots in the NCR.

The Thorn and the owner became a part of the Legion, it became The Coliseum, While Lucy Thorn became a Beastmaster for the Legion.

Impressed with The Kings continued attack on the NCR and its people, were offered a spot to be assimilated into the legion. After the death of The King and Pacer, Lacking leadership they joined as the 89th Tribe of the Legion.

Mojave under the Legion was peaceful but limited, Criminals were made an example by crucifixion. no one wanted to break the rules in fear of a painful death.

Caesar called both legates along with vulpes inculta to the top of the Lucky 38. As the elevator doors open. They are greeted by Caesar who was on his throne. Lucius, Head of the praetorian guard stood next to him.

"Ah Lanius, Vulpes and Nuntius I appreciate your coming" Caesar welcomed the three

"No need to thank us, if Caesar wills it, the Legion obeys" Vulpes answered as the three stood In front of Caesar.

"What is it that you ask of us, Caesar?" Lanius asked

"I suppose I should get into that. Thanks to Legate Nuntius" He motioned towards the Courier

"The NCR is Crippled and dying as much as I want to end the NCR, a wounded animals is more dangerous" everyone agreed with Caesar

"And I wanted to secure existing territory" Caesar motioned to vulpes to which he brought out a map of the Mojave. Caesar pointed north of the map to Jacobstown.

"Many patrols sent there have gone missing. I want someone to investigate" Caesar commanded. The Courier was interested.

"I'll handle it. seems like something bigger at play" The Courier said, Caesar and Lanius looked intrigued.

"Care to elaborate Nuntius?" Lanius asked with a quizzical behind his helmet.

"Sorry can't, call it a gut feeling" The Courier shrugged.

"So be it, I'll still respect the instinct of my Legatus, so if you believe it necessary" Caesar said ending the discussion

The Courier noticed something fly by the windows of the penthouse. He walked towards the window looking at Freeside, chaos was in the streets dead bodies were everywhere. mutants dead bodies, non mutated horses, men with steel armor fighting with the legion.

"Is something wrong with Nuntius?" Vulpes asked, which brought attention to him

"We're under attack!" The Courier shouted before a large gecko with wings broke into the window and grabbed him out of the penthouse. Everyone rushed to the window except Caesar, Who peacefully walked to the broken window seeing the battle. The recruit Legionaries in freeside were on the backfoot with the creatures on the enemies side providing the edge they needed.

"Lanius, Gather reinforcement to assist them, I want every one of these fucking barbarians lashed to a cross." Caesar said with a quiet fury in his voice. Lanius turned to the elevator

"As you wish Caesar" Lanius said in a menacing tone.

The Beast that grabbed The Courier was flying over Freeside as it struggled to bite down through the striped power armor. The rider looked at The Courier as if he was a Deathclaw. The Courier pulled out his Ranger Sequoia painted with legion colors shooting the beast in the eye causing it to crash into the battle of Freeside. The Courier was surrounded by men in iron armor, He got himself out of the mouth of the beast and dusted himself off. he looked around seeing he was In front of mick and Ralph's old spot. he need to make it to The Old Mormon but there was a problem since he was surrounded by the enemy.

The Courier looked through the battlefield civilians and Legion littered the slums. as he was looking around one of the enemies attacking them rushed him. The Courier caught his hand and crushed it as the man screamed in pain, they looked...Roman even more so than the legion. Their weapons were swords, spears and shields. The Craftsmanship was good for the wasteland, little rust and sturdy but ineffective to me and my armor.

"Ahh and here I thought we were the only Roman larpers" The Courier said before blew the man's brains out

The Courier put away his revolver, cracking his knuckles as he looked at one of the mutant creatures. He'd never seen a fat super mutant. The Courier rushed the fat Mutant easily dodging its club and uppercutting its jaw, ripping it off. The Courier was surprised this thing is way weaker than any wasteland creatures. Creatures born in the Mojave are strong enough to survive over 200 years of natural selection. it's hard to believe this thing is one of them. The Courier's thoughts were broken by the roar of pain, The Courier decided to end its pathetic life punching through the stomach of the beast. The enemy soldiers looked on in fear as he killed it, the blood staining his helmet.

"Well it's seem your beast is nothing but show" Courier taunted as flicked his wrist the blood whipping off. The Courier had a smile hidden by his mask at the thought of the bloodshed of this battle.

An entire squad of invaders rushed the second Legate.

"Well you are brave! I'll give you that...But what good is bravery if you break in two this easily" The Courier said in a menacing voice as he grabbed one of them by the throat and started using them as a weapon. He slammed his new "weapon" into the others, shattering their pride and their bones by the end of it, it was a (Bloody Mess) and his "weapon" was missing a few limbs. The invaders were running.

"Sorry you won't be put in the display case" The Courier said while dropping the mangled body of the impromptu weapon. The Courier made his way to The Old Mormon Fort, killing any Invader in his path.

In the battlefield by The Old Mormon fort the attacking force's generals were talking to each other looking at the Orcs trying to break the metal gate to their main city.

"(This place seem devastated by war but resources they use is extraordinary and the people seem to be us or another Empire like army this world, I feel pity as if I am fighting my homeland)" The enemy's general said to right hand man

"(I understand how you feel, These men are something else, they are unrelenting they rather end their own life than be captured by us and before they die they take 5 of our men with them!)" The other General praised the Legion.

Both generals looked on as they saw that more of their men were killed by magic staves.

"(The Magic they use is nothing I have seen before, perhaps that's why they are recovering from war)" the second General told the first general.

"(I wonder what the Alnus Hill cohort found in their gate") The General wondered aloud. as the gate to the city opened

"(It seems they're giving up, they're not all I give them credit for)" Second general said cockily as he looked at the gate to the city.

The Gate to the main city started to open. Orcs goblins were waiting as an elite soldier came out of the city following a large man in bronze armor.

"And who are you to approach Caesar's grand city? Nothing but cowards who wear the colors of the Legion, An insult to every man of Caesar. I'll have you lashed unto a cross as the Mojave sun breaks you down bit...by...bit" The large man supposed general of the city said in a deep voice although the Empire's men didn't understand, they felt the rage in his words.

Legate Lanius was filled with rage at the thought of the Legion's blood staining Caesar's streets. Lanius made it to the gate to Rome. Lanius was surrounded by Centurions, he turned to them.

"These barbarians in Legion colors are weak compared to the legion. We will have retribution for our fallen brothers!" Lanius said, making a promise to himself and his men.

"Open the gate" Lanius said as the slowly churned open.

Lanius threatened the invaders but they didn't seem to understand him.

"Forward" Lanius said one simple word but it was enough as all Centurions shouted in unison with advance weapons and armor

"RETRIBUTION!" All the Centurions shouted as they ran past Lanius attacking the invaders. Some Centurions used thermal lances melting through the invaders' armor and flesh. Some decided to forgo the elegance of a thermal lance and used a chainsaw hacking and slashing through beasts and invaders alike. Other Centurions used anti-material rifles on the invaders in the air, the bullets ripping through the winged geckos bodies.

Lanius made eye contact with a large green Mutant, as it did him. They both took a stance.

"I believe that you will barely be a warm up" Lanius said with a cold tone as he pulled out his recently sharpened sword he named "Blade Of The East"

The Mutant charged Lanius as he easily dodged.

"Your movements are sloppy even more so than a Super Mutant" Lanius said as he sliced off its arm. It screamed in pain as little green people tried to stab Lanius in the back. Lanius turned, swinging his blade, slicing the three in two. The invaders feared the legion and tried fleeing back to the freeside north gate.

"Cowards all! trying to take me by surprise! if you were even a little braver I would assume you were carrying the flag of the bear!" Lanius said with anger as he walked to the "Super Mutant" it was on its back holding its dismembered arm.

Lanius Lifted his sword high bringing it down on the creature below him, slashing its stomach and chest. It grabbed the sword embedded in its body as it shrieked in pain. Lanius felt no pity as he pulled at his sword causing more pain and attempting to get his sword out. Lanius dragged the half dead "Super Mutant", the sword finally gave way as he pulled it out, killing the creature.

The Centurions pushed back the invaders, killing and capturing hundreds of them as they fled. all the Centurions stopped as they reached the North gate Lanius followed and spotted what they saw, he was speechless. In front of them was a large building. It looked very sleek and metallic. It was a pitch black tunnel.

"Well it seems that Mars has gifted us something special" The Courier said from behind Lanius.

"I want this place guarded and any prisoners Interrogated and if they don't talk, I want them crucified" He told the Centurions as he turned to Nuntius

"We should tell Caesar immediately," Lanius said to Courier. The Courier was serious.

"Yeah...not it!" The Courier said in a playful tone while putting his fingers on the nose of his helmet. Lanius just stared at Nuntius and sighed.

"I will tell Caesar myself then." Lanius said, turning towards Rome. The Courier turned and ran to catch up

"Hey! this seems interesting don't leave me out" The first and second legate walked through the bloodshed as Nuntius annoyed Lanius.

Once they made it to Caesar's rise they took the elevator up.

"I want everyone of them to pay for our soldiers' deaths" The Courier spoke to Lanius in a more serious manner, Lanius has seen Nuntius be serious mostly when a great battle were upon them.

As the elevator opened, Caesar and his praetorians were waiting as Caesar looked out the broken window. He turned to the elevator.

"Ah Legatus what news do you bring?" Caesar asked.

"We were able to push back the enemy with no casualties to Centurions" Nuntius reported.

"Many recruits and civilians were killed in battle. And..." Lanius added and trailed off.

"And..." Caesar narrowed his eyes and turned his head in confusion.

"We found something...unique...otherworldly" Nuntius said finishing Lanius' sentence.

Caesar stood up.

"Show me" he said as followed both his Legates to the tunnel. After he got there, he stared at the tunnel.

"I want explorer in there to report what they find back to me" Caesar said Lanius and Nuntius bowed

"It shall be done Caesar." Lanius reassured him.

The Legion mourned the loss of their brothers and its citizens killed in freeside, Rome would never forget this day. The Legions explorer returned with some...news

"What?!" Caesar said with genuine confusion. so was everyone in the room.

"It is as I said Caesar, the land beyond the tunnel is more green than I anything I have seen" the first legion explorer said

"I can attest to what he says Caesar, The land is rich and air fresh it stretches for miles larger than the city of Denver" The second Explorer said. Caesar thought about it in silence.

"My Legatus, The NCR is dying at our feet. They wouldn't risk an attack against us. So I ask of you, Lanius and Nuntius go into this "New World" and avenge my honor. These Impostors will feel the wrath of the legion! I want these fuckers begging for a quick death!" Caesar said inspiring the Legion troops in the room.

"Of course, Caesar." both legates said.

The next day both Legates gather their cohorts ready to walk through. Each legate brought at least thousands of men and hundreds of slaves. Many Recruits that survived the battle used the invaders weapons and armor.

There were Chariot units and Brahmin carrying supplies.

Centurions leading legionary Decanus.

and even Beastmasters trained by Lucy Thorn with dog, cyberdogs, geckos and even a Deathclaw.

Nuntius walked to Lanius as he was discussing with a Centurion.

"Lanius..." Lanius turned sending the Centurion away.

"Nuntius..." Lanius said menacingly.

"Love what you did with the place, Lanius" The Courier motioned to the crucified invaders that lined the streets.

"I'm only doing what Caesar wills and it won't be the last" Lanius looked at a cage of captured invaders. The Courier smiled.

"How about a bet!" The Courier asked in a playful tone. Lanius looked intrigued well as intrigued he could underneath his helmet.

"A wager? what do you suppose?" Lanius asked.

"I wonder whose Cohort will crucify the most...I don't know it's a mystery" The Courier said, shrugging. Lanius sat in silence for a second.

"I don't have time for silly games Nuntius" Lanius walked away. The courier shrugged as Lanius stopped looking back at Nuntius.

"Although my Cohort would surpass you" Lanius said with a bit of a smile. Nuntius smiled as walked to his Cohort.

Both the legates lead their cohorts into the "Gate".

"May Mars guide us to victory" Nuntius said they were in the darkness. the long journey was tedious but the men of Caesar readied themself. but it mattered not as they saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

As they came through the light was blinding as The Courier's eyes adjusted he saw a land untainted by the bombs and radiation, The greenest grass you've ever seen. The Courier would've let tear go down his face if he cared enough. He stood in front of the Cohorts of legionaries.

"LEGION! MARS GAVE US THIS GIFT! SO WE WILL ACCEPT IT! AND SHOW HIM WHAT CAESAR'S LEGION CAN DO! WE WILL HAVE RETRIBUTION FOR OUR FALLEN BROTHERS! FOR CAESAR!!!" Nuntius gave his speech as The Legion shouted with pride

"FOR CAESAR!!!" All of the Legion in this New World shouted unison.

And thus this is the story of 3 vastly different worlds colliding and bloodshed that took place in years that followed.

Will The Legion be the victors?
