When they heard what Mike said, the Mr. Men shared a terrified look before turning back to the brown-haired human who still held the young girl in his arms.

"What does that mean?" Mr. Nosy asked, fear and confusion crashing over him. How is it possible for Scarlet to not be in her own body?

Mike didn't reply though. He stared down at the other human before he lifted his hand and waved it over the girl again; his hand started to glow as he did this. Then the eyes lit up with life once more just as a frightened expression appeared on their face.

Before whoever Mike sent out could say anything, Mike reached over and took the stuffed lemur from Mr. Nosy who tried to protest but froze when Mike handed the kid the toy.

"Here, Jerry," he said as he straightened up. "You need to keep this close to you. Tyler has finally done what he set out to do."

The nervous personality had huge eyes, staring up at Mike. "No," he whispered. "But how?"

Mike shrugged and said," I'm not sure, but I'm going to find out." He turned around and started walking down the sidewalk with Jerry running to catch up to him.

The Mr. Men stared after the humans. "He doesn't explain anything in detail, huh?" Mr. Nosy muttered as he glanced down at his little buddy, disappointed and a little frustrated that Mike hadn't really filled them in on what was going on.

Mr. Small shrugged. "Lets just hope he knows what he's doing," he remarked. Then he started walking after the two humans who were far down the sidewalk now; he gestured to his best friend to follow him which Mr. Nosy did.

It wasn't long until Mr. Nosy noticed Mike was heading to the park. How does he know his way around Dillydale? the light green Mr. Man thought. He wanted to ask the human this, but he knew Mike wouldn't give him a direct answer so he didn't even bother opening his mouth.

The four of them walked in silence, but once the entrance to the park came into sight, Mike glanced over his shoulder. "We need more help than I realize," he admitted. He came to a halt and turned to the others.

"What kind of help do you mean?" Mr. Small asked as he shared a glance with Mr. Nosy.

Mike started walking into the park. "Help from your friends," he replied. He stopped by a bush and looked down. "It's okay to come out now."

Mr. Nosy was confused, but his eyes widened when he saw the purple Mr. Man pushed his way out of the bush. I didn't even see him hiding in there, he thought with surprise.

"Follow us, Mr. Nervous." Mike gestured to the nervous guy and then he turned to walk down the sidewalk that would lead him to the middle of the park.

Mr. Nervous stared after Mike before turning to the two best friends. "Who is that?" he asked.

"His name is Mike," explained Mr. Small. "He's here to help us against Tyler. I think."

Now if only we can get him to tell us everything he knows, Mr. Nosy thought, feeling his frustration building. But he pushed it down as he leaned closer and asked Mr. Nervous," Why were you hiding in that bush?"

"So that guy who wants to destroy everything can't find me, of course," he answered as if he thought it was so obvious, and it should have been, but knowing Mr. Nervous, Mr. Nosy didn't know if he was hiding from Tyler or his own shadow.

Before either Mr. Men could reply to their friend, Jerry pushed between Mr. Nosy and Mr. Small as he approached Mr. Nervous. "Can I join you in hiding?" the human asked, hugging the toy animal that he was still holding.

Mr. Nervous opened his mouth, but suddenly an annoyed voice spoke behind him. "Nobody needs to hide."

Looking past the purple man, Mr. Nosy saw that Mike had turned around and was now heading back to the others. He stopped when he got to the Mr. Men and Jerry.

"With everyone's help we will stop Tyler," he went on, looking around at the others. "And this time I'm gonna make sure Tyler can't hurt Scarlet ever again." With that, he spun around and walked away, disappearing from sight when he went around some trees.

Mr. Nosy sighed and decided to just follow him, knowing by now that it was useless trying to make sense of anything Mike said without a full explanation.

When he finally caught up to Mike, he was surprised to see that the brown-haired human was standing in front of several of the Mr. Men and Little Misses.

"There's no need to panic," Mike was saying when Mr. Nosy walked up; the light green Mr. Man was aware that Mr. Small, Mr. Nervous, and Jerry joined him. "You all have the power to stop Tyler. You just have to work together."

A familiar voice called out from the crowd. "There's no reason to work together!" A few people were pushed aside as Mr. Stubborn forced his way through until he was standing face to face with Mike. He crossed his arms, staring at the human with a stubborn expression on his face.

Mike seemed to be studying him before he spoke. "Your town is in danger, Mr. Stubborn," he told him. Then he scanned the crowd, and Mr. Nosy noticed that all eyes were on Mike. "But if you work together you can stop Tyler, and save everything you love and care about."

Mr. Stubborn continued to look at Mike until he finally threw his arms in the air and exclaimed," This town is cheap!" as he stormed off, soon disappearing from sight.

For a few moments Mike just stared after him before turning back to the rest of the crowd. "Who is willing to stand up and face Tyler so everything can go back to normal?"

Nobody said anything. Glancing around, Mr. Nosy saw that none of his friends were even looking at Mike anymore as if they didn't like what the human was saying. He saw that Jerry looked terrified, and he was hugging on tight to the toy lemur like he thought someone would take it from him.

Then the light green Mr. Man met Mr. Small's eyes, surprised to see how uncertain his little buddy looked. He realized that nobody was willing to go up against Tyler.

But if it is the only way to make our town safe again then we have to do what Mike says, he thought, but he wondered for a brief second what they'd have to do. He didn't let himself think about that as he took a step forward that brought him to Mike's side.

"I'll do whatever it takes to save Dillydale and Scarlet," he announced, nodding to Mike. He wanted him to know that he's on his side and that he'd do anything to help.

A gasp made Mr. Nosy look down at Mr. Small, but Mike spoke up suddenly. "Thank you, Mr. Nosy," he said with a dip of his head. "I owe you once we save Scarlet."

Mr. Happy stepped forward. "I'll help too," he announced with a huge smile. "Dillydale is too wonderful to get destroyed."

"Yeah!" Little Miss Chatterbox joined Mr. Happy. "Besides, where would we live if we didn't have Dillydale? This is our home and we can't let some guy take what is ours. That wouldn't be right." She leaned closer to Mike. "Why does he want to destroy this town anyways? I mean what did we ever do to him? Before now, he never showed his face here."

Mike was silent for a moment before he finally sighed. "I guess it's time to tell you why Tyler is after Scarlet."

Mr. Nosy felt excitement start to rise in him. Now they are finally going to learn what all this is about!

The brown-haired human cleared his throat. "Scarlet was born with these magical powers that a group of misfits want so they can take over the world they are from," he explained as he glanced around at everyone. "They plan on using that power to form a new Government they think will get everyone to follow their rules and respect their ideas."

Mr. Nosy was suddenly interested. "What are their rules and ideas?" he asked, but before Mike could answer, he thought of another question. "And what does that have to do with us? Why does he want to get rid of this town?"

"Because you know about him," Mike replied with a hint of sadness in his voice. "They are supposed to work in the dark until they are ready to launch their plan. Tyler tried to get control of Scarlet's body once before," he added, a frown forming on his face. "He sent her through a portal and she ended up in another world. He took away her memories like he did this time, but he wasn't careful and people discovered him. That world is in ruins now, and it's beyond repair."

Several of the Mr. Men and Little Misses exchanged terrified glances. Mr. Nosy thought of a question but he was almost too afraid to ask. Almost.

"What happened to everyone who lived in that world?" the light green Mr. Man asked.

At first it seemed like Mike wasn't gonna answer the question. Then he turned to Mr. Nosy, and said," You are looking at the only survival."

Gasps exploded from the crowd as Mr. Nosy exchanged glances with Mr. Small. "You were from that world Tyler destroyed?" the small Mr. Man asked.

Mike nodded. "Before Tyler showed himself, I got to know Scarlet," he explained. "She became a close friend, and I knew I had to save her when Tyler threatened her. That was when I discovered my powers." As he spoke he waved his hand which started glowing and a yellow light followed his movements. He stopped and added," I wasn't sure what to do since I didn't know how to control my powers back then so I just zapped Scarlet in hopes of reuniting her with her family, but that somehow made Jerry and the others appear in her head."

Mr. Nosy tried to keep track of everything Mike was explaining but it confused him. He stared at the brown-haired human, thinking about everything Mike just said.

He was knocked out of his thoughts when Mr. Small spoke up. "And what about that toy?" he asked.

"I put a spell on it, and when Tyler tries to get hold of Scarlet, if she touches the toy, Jerry will come out." Mike pointed to the nervous personality that still held onto the stuffed animal.

"You said you couldn't control your powers though," Little Miss Sunshine pointed out. "How did you put the spell on the toy?"

Mike turned to her. "It took a while to control my powers," he said. "I tried several times on several things. Finally I managed the right spell on that toy lemur."

Mr. Nosy was still thinking about everything Mike said when he noticed someone walking toward them. It was a human with short brown hair, and he was wearing a red t-shirt along with black pants and shoes. There was an angry expression on his face as he continued to head to everyone else in the park.

Then Mr. Nosy saw the short boy following the other human. Micheal? he thought with surprise. Suddenly he realized who this must be, but before he could warn anyone, the human started walking through the crowd, pushing the Mr. Men and Little Misses aside.

He came to a halt once he was face to face with Mike who narrowed his eyes at the other human, and when he spoke his voice was as cold as ice. "Hello, Tyler."
