It was just after lunchtime on Dantooine, and the weather was mild for a Spring day. The sun beats down on a tired Omega after a long and difficult rescue of Cid from Ord Mantell. She was glad the mission was successful, and they had secured the undying loyalty of Cid. The light source came from the Star, and Omega could hear everyone talking and Cut working on the farm. She smelt and tasted the farm manure, her sweat, and the ground they were walking on. The earth she was walking on was soft on her shoes. Everyone noticed the farm was doing well, while Omega noticed that there was what looked like a memorial to Rex at the back of the farm.

When they reached the Lawquane household, Cut greeted them, shaking hands with each member, including Crosshair, before hugging Omega. Suu was playing with baby Corin on the household porch.

Suu got up when she noticed the squad enter and embraced each one, asking, "Welcome. How are we?"

"We're doing OK. Not 100% after Rex's death and exhausted after rescuing Cid from the Empire, but we're managing," Hunter replied as he returned the embrace.

"That's good to hear. We're doing OK," Suu replied.

"How about Jek and Shaeeah?" Omega asked tiredly.

"Shaeeah is doing OK. Jek, not so much," Cut sighed.

"Jek's grieving still, isn't he," Omega asked, concerned.

"I guess he is. We're not sure how to help, but he's struggling. Maybe you could talk to him about it?" Cut replied.

"I could give it a go. Speaking of, where are Jek and Shaeeah?" Omega wondered.

"They're at school right now," Suu replied.

"We're ensuring that while Jek and Shaeeah are at school, you can get enough rest to handle them, especially you, Omega," Cut added. He then noticed Cid and said, "Hey, Cid, right?"

"That would be me, Harline," Cid replied. She turned to Suu, "Take good care of Tiny, alright, Momma Bear?"

"Does Cid give everyone nicknames?" Cut whispered to Hunter, who nodded.

"She does. I'm either Bandana or Dark and Broody, Wrecker's Muscles, Tech's Goggles, Echo's Scomp Link, Crosshair's Toothpick and Omega's Tiny," Hunter explained.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Cid," Suu replied before she turned to the squad.

"We'd better get somewhere for all of you to rest. I'll handle Omega. Cut, handle everyone else,"

"Alright. Follow me. I don't have anywhere for you yet, Cid. But I'm sure I can sort something for you," Cut said.

"Fime. Just make it quick, Harline," Cut sneered as she followed the Clones around the house while Suu picked up Corin and entered the house with Omega following behind.

As she entered Jek and Shaeeah's room, Omega noticed the room was colder than outside, which didn't help Omega's tiredness. She heard Suu turn on a light that lit the room, and she shielded her eyes until they adapted. Sounds came from birds chirping outside and the hum of the lamp. She can smell and taste the fabric in the carpet and flecks of candy. The floor is soft on her feet. Everyone notices the three beds, though Omega recognised the Weighted blanket on each bed, only differentiated by apparent weight.

"I need to wash up before I sleep," Omega said.

"That's fine. You know where the refresher is. Should I set some music up for you while you sleep?" Suu asked.

"That would be a good idea, Mom," Omega tiredly replied.

She grabbed a towel and headed for the refresher to wash up. While Omega was washing up, Hunter gave Suu a change of clothes for Omega, and Suu set the clothes aside in the refresher for Omega to dress.

When Suu returned to the room, she saw Wrecker had snuck in and placed Lula on the bed for Omega, which made Suu smile.

Once Omega finished in the shower, she dressed in the clothes set aside for her. She picked up her shoes and socks and headed to the kid's room.

Omega heard the music playing when she entered the kid's room, and the music calmed her mind. Placing her shoes and socks on the floor next to her bed, Omega grabbed Lula and climbed under the bed sheets but found she was uncomfortable trying to sleep fully dressed. Wanting to keep her privacy intact, she knew she had to keep something on. To make herself more comfortable, Omega adjusted what she was wearing, letting what she didn't want to wear fall to the ground. Now more comfortable, Omega was soon asleep. Suu shook her head and chuckled as she watched Omega do this. As she picked up the clothes Omega left on the floor, she remembered how often she does this for her biological kids.

Once the clothes were on the bedside table, she thought: "Despite being a Clone, and what happened to you on Kamino, and that you're now a teenager, you're still a kid in many ways, Omega. Please stay that way,"

Suu parked the clothes on the dressing table, gently ruffled her hair, and whispered: "Sweet dreams, my daughter,"

Suu noticed Omega curl up, cold. Sighing, she grabbed an extra blanket and wrapped it on top. Omega stretched out a bit, making Suu smile. She then departed the room, turning off the light to make rest easier for Omega.

A couple of hours later, Suu departs to take Jek and Shaeeah home from school while Cut enters the kid's room to awaken Omega.

As Cut enters Omega's room, he notices it's marginally warmer than when Omega went to sleep. There are no lights on to allow Omega to sleep peacefully. Cut can hear Omega's light breathing, indicating she's still asleep and the sound of a music player. Cut could taste and smell the scent of the farm, and the carpet felt soft on his feet. Everyone noticed that Omega's bed was now adult-sized. Cut saw that Omega had stretched out on the bed, meaning Omega was comfortable under the blankets.

With some of Omega's clothes on the dressing table, Cut noted that he had to manage waking Omega while maintaining her privacy. He was still angry that Omega had no privacy with the Demagolkas, though it explained why the Batch was careful to keep her privacy intact around them.

Cut saw that Omega was facing him, and the blankets were over her shoulders. Knowing this, Cut carefully shook her awake.

"Good afternoon. Suu just left to collect Jek and Shaeeah from school, so I decided to wake you up now so you would be ready when they get home," Cut said.

"Thanks," Omega replied. Cut, respecting Omega's privacy, turned around to allow Omega to get out of bed and dress.

Once Omega dressed, she tapped Cut on the shoulder, which meant it was OK to look at her again.

"Are you ready for the rest of the day?" Cut asked, and when Omega nodded, they departed, with Cut turning off the music and light on his way out.

Jek was exhausted after another day at school. He usually wasn't this tired after school, but the grief that weighed on him as he climbed out of the speeder made everything much more tiring. The sun had partially gone behind a cloud since he was picked up from school, which meant the sun wasn't beating down on him as hard. It was also mild for a Spring day. He'd heard that Omega was paying a visit, which cheered him up. As they approached the house, the smell and taste of the farm hit Jek, along with the sound of adults talking. The earth was soft on his shoes as he walked, the sanctuary of his bed awaiting him. But first, it was reunion time.

As soon as he spotted Omega, he got a burst of energy. He and Shaeeah ran up to Omega and hugged her, Omega smiling as she returned the hug. Once they broke apart, Omega kneeled to Jek's level and put hands on his shoulders.

"It's OK to grieve the loss of a loved one, Jek. I've experienced it before. If you need anyone to talk to about your feelings, I'm here to help. Alright?" Omega asked. Jek nodded, then threw himself around Omega again, burying his face in her shoulder. Omega immediately embraced Jek while Shaeeah rubbed her hand on Jek's back.

After several minutes, the wave of grief had passed for Jek. Omega turned to Shaeeah and asked, "How are you holding up?"

"I'm OK," Shaeeah replied, "Just worried about Jek,"

"Understandable," Omega replied, gently taking Shaeeah's hand and smiling reassuringly at her.

"Thank you, Omega," Shaeeah replied. Omega then led the two hybrids inside, where Cid commented, "Great, more tinies. Are they yours, Hairline?"

"Corin's biologically mine, but Jek and Shaeeah are adopted," Cut replied.

"Who's this?" Shaeeah asked.

"That's Aunty Cid," Omega replied, "We've been working for Cid for over a year, and we saved her from the Empire earlier today,"

"I heard that, Tiny," Cid called, though with no sneer or denial in her voice.

"Hello," Jek and Shaeeah wave to Cid before turning to Omega, "What's Cid got with nicknames?"

Omega waved them off, "She gives them to everyone. I wouldn't worry about it," as they walked toward the kid room.

The kid's bedroom had slightly cooled since Omega and Cut had vacated it. Jek yawned, and Omega saw that he looked exhausted.

"Do you want to rest for a bit?" Omega asked.

"That'd be nice," Jek replied.

"Do you want me to stay with you? I won't stay in bed with you. I need to talk to Omega first. But I'll be in the room with you, alright?" Shaeeah asked.

"Thanks, sis," Jek replied, hugging his sister, which she returned. Jek then got into his bed and snuggled down. Omega grabbed Lula from her bed and gave it to Jek to snuggle, which he did. Jek was soon asleep.

"How are you holding up?" Omega asked Shaeeah as the duo walked out the back, noticing that Shaeeah was worried.

"Alright, for the most part. I'm just worried about Jek. He hasn't rebounded after the death of Uncle Rex. I don't know what to do to help," Shaeeah admitted.

"Being there for your little brother is sometimes enough. Let Jek know he's not alone, validate his feelings, and be there for him. It may take a while, but Jek will talk when he's ready, alright?" Omega replied.

"Alright, I'll do that," Shaeeah smiled at Omega, which she returned. Shaeeah then grabbed a book lying on her bed and read it while Omega exited to find her brothers.

An hour later, Omega returned to the kid's room to find Shaeeah sitting on Jek's bed and talking to him. It had marginally cooled in the last hour, and the sunlight was filtering into the room now. Omega sat on her bed, listened to Jek and Shaeeah as they talked, and noticed that Shaeeah was taking her advice, reassuring and validating him.

"Thanks, sis. You've helped. We've got to get ready for our sleepover with Alexis, Maxwell and Madelyn," Shaeeah replied.

"Oh, right. We'd better get ready," Jek said.

"Anything I can do to help?" Omega asked.

"Sure, big sis," Jek smiled. Omega chuckled, then helped them out. Omega knew that Jek and Shaeeah, seeing her as a big sister, would reach the adults quickly.

It didn't take long for Omega, Jek and Shaeeah to pack the stuff for the latter two's sleepover. While packing, Omega told Jek, "If you want to talk to me about your feelings, I'm here to listen. Alright, Jek?"

"I will," Jek smiled at Omega, which she returned. Suu appeared at the door and asked, "Are you two ready to go?"

"We are," Jek and Shaeeah replied.

"Enjoy," Omega called as Jek and Shaeeah departed.

Jek and Shaeeah returned home in the early afternoon the following day, and in the meantime, Omega mainly hung with either the Bad Batch or Suu, spending the night with the former. Omega then spent most of the following morning with Alejandro, walking around the local park and catching up.

When Jek and Shaeeah got home, the "Big Sister" slipped out with the adults listening. Omega didn't mind. That afternoon, Omega helped Jek and Shaeeah with their homework, and she found ways to explain concepts Jek and Shaeeah were struggling with better than school had.

That night, Omega couldn't settle enough to find the peace of sleep. She tossed and turned in her bed. She sat up and looked around, seeing Jek and Shaeeah soundly asleep despite the lack of light. Sighing, Omega grabbed her dressing robe and walked outside. The moon shined onto the ground, and Omega detected the scent of Cut's farm and the back porch wood. Omega rested against the wooden rail and took in the sights and sounds of the Spring night, including the gentle wind. The wood was solid on her feet. Omega looked up at the night sky and found it relaxing. Combined with her deep breathing, Omega felt the tension and anxiety keeping her up melt away. Omega watched the stars for about twenty minutes before hearing Shaeeah scream. Immediately, Omega rushed inside.

When Omega entered the kid's room, she saw Jek trying to wake Shaeeah, who was thrashing in her sleep, screaming and sobbing as she became tangled in her bedsheets. Omega worked to free Shaeeah, but at that instant, she had to catch Shaeeah as she fell out of bed. Carefully guiding Shaeeah to the ground, Omega and Jek worked to calm her down. Shaeeah quickly awoke, and it took a few moments for Shaeeah's confusion and panic to fade.

"Are you OK?" Omega asked as Jek hugged her, and Omega placed both hands on Shaeeah's shoulders. After a few moments, during which Shaeeah returned the embrace and collected her thoughts, she nodded.

"Good. At least you had someone to catch you when you fell out of bed," Omega said.

"Thanks," Shaeeah replied.

"You've done that before?" Jek asked.

"Fallen out of bed during a nightmare? I've done it before and hurt myself doing it. I've got guardrails on my bed at home because of it," Omega replied.

"Sorry to hear that," Shaeeah replied sympathetically.

"It's fine. We'd better get you back into bed," Omega said as Jek let her go. Once Shaeeah was back in bed, Jek joined her. They snuggled each other closely, and Jek asked, "Can you sing?"

"Yes. I'm a good singer from the feedback I've gotten," Omega replied.

"Do you have any lullabies that could help us get to sleep?" Shaeeah asked.

"Sure. Hunter has sung me one before, but I'll have to modify it slightly for you two, as you're my siblings, not my kids," Omega replied.

"Nuhoy, vod'ika,"

"Gar ner aliit"

"Ni ja'haalili gar"

Akay vaar'tur"

"Nuhoy, vod'ika"

"Gar ner aliit"

"Ni laarai'gar"

"Akay vaa'tur"

"Nuhoy, vod'ika"

"Gar ner aliit"

"Ni cabuor gar"

"Akay vaar'tur"

Omega repeated the lullaby twice before she heard the soft breathing from both kids, signalling they had drifted to sleep. As Omega stood up from the chair she'd pulled up with the bed, Omega heard Cut gently open the door.

"Who was singing? Was that you?" Cut whispered.

"Yeah," Omega replied.

"You have a lovely singing voice,"

"Thanks,"

"You'd best get some sleep, alright? It's an hour past your bedtime,"

"I will. Good Night, Cut,"

"Good Night, Omega,"

Cut closed the door, and Omega returned to her bed, snuggled down, and was asleep almost instantly.

After Jek and Shaeeah had departed for swimming lessons the following morning, Omega and Cut found themselves alone in the Kitchen. It was a cold Spring morning, and a lamp in the ceiling lit the room. Cut could detect the scents of the remains of everyone's food and drink as he sat back in his wooden chair, looking at Omega. He can hear the TV in the Living Room and deduces that her other parental figures are watching it. He had found lodging for Cid at a nearby cantina, which had recently lost its owner, so Cid was planning to take it over.

"So, what's big sister Omega planned for the day?" Cut asked.

Omega smiled, "How long have you known that?"

"Within the first week of your first visit here, I knew you had adopted them as younger siblings. Probably only a few days after you adopted Suu as a mother figure. As your squad has handled you as fathers would, you've handled Jek and Shaeeah as an older sibling would towards younger siblings. They're even starting to see you as a sort of role model,"

Cut watched as Omega thought about this and was concerned when he saw her get nervous.

"What's up?" Cut asked.

"Being a role model is a lot of responsibility. I'm unsure if I can handle that," Omega admitted. Cut leaned forward, reached over, and took Omega's hand.

"You've got this, Omega. Just keep doing what you're doing, alright? And if you need guidance, ask any of your parental figures, and we'll guide you. Alright?" Cut reassured. He was glad to see Omega smile and relax.

"Thanks, father," Omega smiled.

"Don't let Hunter hear you say that," Cut teased.

"Oh no, you, Crosshair, Tech, all my fathers. Wrecker is my big brother, and Echo and Suu are my mom. Hunter isn't my father. Hunter's my dad," Omega explained.

Cut chuckled, "You've got that all sorted out. Good work. And, of course, Jek, Shaeeah and Corin are your little siblings,"

"That they are," Omega smiled.

And that was the arrangement from then on. Ensuring Omega presented herself as a big sibling that Jek and Shaeeah could hang with and a role model for the young hybrids to look up to. If Omega got stuck on something, she went to the rest of her family for advice. Omega also helped raise Corin and found that these experiences helped her grow as a person.
