AN: So I wanted to do some Halloween stories for the show. I came up with this idea set in season one. I hope some of the pranks are believable that Justin can pull them off. I am going to write the revenge in a separate story however. I am drawing a blank on how they can get the evil little genius back. I asked on the Facebook groups for ideas and have someone going to give me ideas. So I thought I'd post the revenge story separate as a sequel.

Summary: Brain loves doing Halloween pranks every years. However, this year he's not the one doing them. Yet, the gang thinks it's him.

Title: It Wasn't Me

Debbie

Justin was hoping that it would get a real scream from Debbie and not the fake ones that Brian said she'd do. It seemed that every year she'd figure out that Brian had done something beforehand. She'd have a fake scream, which people could tell from a real one. He'd gone upstairs to use the bathroom and when he had he'd rigged up a snake in the can, but instead of a can it was the toilet. He had also put a miniature banshee in the medicine cabinet so when it was opened it would fly out screaming, death to you. He wasn't sure which would get her, but one surely would.

He figured that everyone was going to blame Brian and not him. He never had said he loved Halloween. He had heard the others talking about how they wondered what Brain was going to plan this year. They were all going to be on the lookout for a good scare. He played them all month long and he never did the same thing twice. Justin had taken notes when everyone thought he was drawing. He had written down all of Brian's previous scares and they had been some great ones.

However, he was the master mind of scaring his parents when it came to Halloween. He always had Molly to help him. They would of course scare each other, but they teamed up to get their parents. It was more their mom though because she also tried getting them. This year, he'd be doing it solo since he'd been tossed out. Though, he was going to see Molly Halloween night. He also saw her every Saturday, but their dad never knew that. He loved his sister even if she was annoying at times. He was thinking on borrowing her for one of the scares he had planned, the one for Brian.

He thought that weekend would be the perfect time to pull the pranks. Brian had to go out of town for a client meeting. No one even knew he'd left town because it had been last minute. Brian had told him to let them know, but if nothing happened, he wasn't going to tell. He only knew because he was living there with him. Plus, even if Brian wouldn't claim him as a boyfriend, they so were a couple, partners, he always knew what Brian was up to. He had hoped they could team up for this, but he would pull off great scares on his own. No one was going to suspect the sweet innocent child. The only person he wasn't going to be able to get right now was Ted. His mom was sick, and he was staying with her for the weekend. If not for that he would have him on his list as well. Cynthia was with Brian so she was also out. He'd thought of a really good office prank. She might get him good though, but the rest of the friends group was fair game, minus Gus who was way too young.

He was sitting on the couch at Debbie and Vic's watching a movie. He was drawing some of the creepy things that came to his mind as well. He heard Debbie say she was going upstairs if anyone wanted the bathroom first. They hadn't seen him go up there to start with. He'd done it when he first got there and the two of them had been getting the clothes out of the laundry room. It hadn't taken, but a moment on each and he'd been done. He said okay, he didn't need it. Vic also said no, and she went on up. He sat there waiting to see if she would react to what he'd done. He knew her fake scream from her real one and also her excited screams. After all he'd been hanging around all of them for two months now.

He was starting to think that she wasn't going to open either the toilet or the medicine cabinet, but then there was a high-pitched scream from upstairs. Followed by a scream of a name, Brian fucking Kinney as loud and so real as it could be. He kept no reaction that gave himself away as he followed Vic upstairs to see what had happened. Vic got to the bathroom before he did, but the door was yanked open and Debbie was standing there clutching her chest.

"Where is that asshole at? He fucking did it this time. A snake in the toilet that jumps at you. That thing looked fucking real." Debbie said clutching her chest. "Last week a neighbor found a snake in their attic. I hate snakes." She shivered.

"Are you okay, Deb? I haven't seen Brian today." Justin said.

He hadn't because last night he'd spent the night with Daphne. He'd wanted some time with his best friend. He might have also gotten to spend time with his sister too. Molly's best friend was Daphne's sister. She had helped him with plans as had Daphne on what to do this weekend. He'd listed all of Brian's former tricks and scares. The most epic of all was the one he had cooked up for Brian when he got back. That one would be the best one of all, Michael's would be second best. He wanted to teach the little man child a lesson. Daphne had taken to calling him that and it fit. Molly had been all for helping with Brian's. She might even be the one that cooked up the idea. He'd been at a loss on how to get the one that scares all.

"He's not here?" Debbie asked looking between Vic and him. "I could have sworn he was with you."

"No, I was with Daphne and my sister last night." Justin said.

"He probably did this last night." Vic said. "Or this morning before we woke up. We do keep the house unlocked." He shook his head before going over to where the snake was lying on the floor still. "It actually hisses too." He stated when he dropped it back on the floor.

"You two are scared of snakes?" Justin asked. "I didn't know that. I'm not fond of real ones, they're slimy like." He shivered. It was the truth too, he could deal with fake ones, but real ones no way on earth was he getting near them.

"Don't you worry, Sunshine. When I get a hold of Brian, he's not going to be playing any pranks." Debbie said. "I need to get ready for work. He better not have rigged up anything else." She added with a shutter.

"I'll toss it out." Justin offered. "If I see him, I'll let him know that you're going to skin him alive." He added taking the snake off the floor. He made a show of holding it out like he didn't want to really touch it.

"Thank you, Sunshine. I hope you are prepared too. The Halloween mastermind is at it again this year. Every damn year he starts early and I have never gotten a scare before. He always lets hints drop so he doesn't really get me." Debbie explained. "The asshole is going to get it good this year for that one." She knew he didn't go for full out scare because of Vic's health issues. She was always worried enough over those.

Justin nodded. "You know my little sister tries getting me every year since she was five. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't." He said before leaving the room.

"You can hold him down for me while I spank his ass." Debbie said before Justin was out of ear shot. She then turned to her brother. "I'm going to make a phone call really quick." She was going to give Brian a piece of her mind.

"Okay sis, you tell him where to stick it." Vic said wondering what exactly Brian would be throwing at them next.

He figured it would be the same one for him as the year before. It still could make him jump when came at an unexpected time.
