CHAPTER 2

When Clare fell on her back, she was stuck in a snow-ridden world. The world, cold as the arctic circle, was so frozen thanks to the White Witch's winter curse. However, Clare would soon not be alone, as Moonwatcher and Luna saw her stranded alone. Together, they flew down to help Clare.

"Dragons?!" asked Clare.

"You thought dragons were not real?" asked Moonwatcher.

"In my world, they are just…plain figments."

"Well, you're wrong about that. Dragons are part of realism in our humble world of Literature." said Luna. "What is your name?"

"My name is Clare, an aspiring seventh grade writer of all kinds of topics." said Clare as she introduced herself. "I am assuming you two are the dragons Luna and Moonwatcher."

"How does this girl know our names?" asked Moonwatcher to Luna.

"I read your stories all the time." said Clare. "So, I obviously know who you two are."

"Hm…smart one, I see." said Luna. "Well, you've come to the right location. Hop on my back."

"Wait, am I going on a dragon ride?" asked Clare.

"You are indeed coming with us. We need help." said Moonwatcher. "Let's get you up on Luna's back."

"Wow…" said Clare. "Nice view from here." Luna and Moonwatcher later flew off, with Luna carrying young Clare on her back. Together, they were off to the headquarters of the World of Literature. There, Clare would meet iconic fan-favorite characters, all from popular pieces of literature.

Back at Clare's school, the bullies responsible for throwing her in the locker were cheering on themselves.

"Hah!" said one of the bullies. "Serves her right to go behind the lockers again!"

"Now who's gonna help her?" asked another bully.

Suddenly, Mr. Stark, Clare's homeroom teacher, wondered where Clare was after he walked into the building. The boys who were responsible for Clare's disappearance behind the locker were all acting innocent, saying to Mr. Stark that they were not responsible for anything done to Clare.

"If I get Mrs. Hampshire to look at surveillance camera footage, and we find out it was all you boys…you're staying in detention after school with me after you serve out-of-school suspension. But of course, that depends on what the principal says to all of you." said Mr. Stark.

"But it wasn't us!" one of the boys said in exclamation.

"Hmph." said Mr. Stark. "We will see what the principal says." He went to the principal's office as the boys walked to their respective classes. Mr. Stark did have suspicion that it was those boys he had talked to that put Clare behind the locker. But Mr. Stark also suspected something else and questioned himself about if Clare was going on another fandom-traveling adventure behind the lockers. However, he never thought much and never really was worried about the situation, and went to his classroom. He was hoping that Clare was okay.

Back with Clare and her new dragon friends Moonwatcher and Luna, all three of them had arrived at the Literature World Headquarters. There, Clare was to meet famous characters from all forms of literature, including famous fairy tales and iconic nursery rhymes. When Clare dismounted from Luna's back, she trembled at the sights of the humongous building. She claimed that she had never seen anything like it before in her twelve years of living. Clare proceeded to knock on the door following the wishes of the dragon Moonwatcher. It was around this time that Clare was greeted by Narnia's Pevensie children. Clare, left speechless, was astounded, seeing the Pevensie children in person for the first time in a world not even related to hers.

"Ah, Peter, good timing." Luna said.

"Who knocked?" asked Edmund Pevensie.

"I did." said Clare.

"Oh, hey there." said Susan Pevensie. "I don't…think I have seen you before.

"She looks like she's from the real world." said Lucy Pevensie.

"This is Clare." said Moonwatcher. "She's a seventh grade writer from the real world."

"She never explained to us how she ended up here." said Luna.

"Likely, she's come to the right place." said Peter Pevensie.

"I'll tell you what. Why don't we send her inside and she can tell us her story." said Susan.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." said Clare.

"Oh, and there's a good guess she knows all four of your names." said Moonwatcher.

"OK." said Peter. "Fine with us. Come inside, Clare." Clare then followed peter Pevensie and his three siblings inside. Moonwatcher and Luna took a different entrance into the building due to their dragon size.

When Clare was ordered by Peter to take a seat, he then told her to wait for Aslan, the Great Lion of Narnia. When he arrived to see Clare, he sat down, and asked Clare the obligatory question: How did she end up in their world? Clare told her entire story, explaining everything that happened in her world. Clare was also asked by Aslan if the behind the locker traveling had happened to her before.

"Yes, once before; it happened just a few days ago." said Clare.

"In what world did you travel to before you came here to the World of Literature?" asked Aslan.

"The World of Asian Culture, filled with Japanese Anime and Manga, Chinese Manhua, and Korean Manhwa." Clare answered.

"Ah, the World of Asian Culture…if that girl never stopped Dio Brando, that world would have been annihilated forever and ever." Aslan thought to himself with a statement.

"Excuse me, Aslan, I was the one who stopped Dio Brando from taking over that particular world." said Clare. "But I…had a little help from some other characters who reside there and call the world their home."

"Really? That was you?" asked Aslan.

"It was." Clare responded. "But there is one thing I do not understand…how do you know about the World of Asian Culture?"

"Each world is a family, Clare." said Aslan. "There are five separate worlds: The World of Asian Culture, The World of Literature, the World of Television, the World of Movies, and the World of Gaming." he explained to Clare.

"And…how do you know about each world?" asked Clare to Aslan.

"Everybody knows something about another world or their own, Clare." Aslan said. "Even the gods and of creation who rule all the worlds as one. Despite the fact that each world is separate, we are all a family. It's just the villains that are under control by a secret going around."

"And this is a secret no one knows about?" wondered Clare.

"No one knows what the gods are planning." said Aslan. "Many suspect it has something to do with them, though." he said as he walked towards a window.

"So…Peter said I came to the right place, and that I was…needed." said Clare. "Is this another world-conquering conflict that I myself am getting involved in?"

"The White Witch Jadis has placed a winterous curse on our world." said Clare. "There are also two other people involved with her and her crimes. Someone who wants to rid laughter, and someone who is a manipulative vampire who wants to rid the world of animals."

"So the world has been placed under some sort of depression thanks to the White Witch, Aslan?" asked Clare.

"Yes." said Aslan. "Unfortunately, this is what has happened. Our world is in desperate need of your assistance, Clare. I was the one aware that you saved the World of Asian Culture from the possessed Dio Brando. Tell me this, Clare: Will you assist us, the characters of the World of Literature?"

Clare thought twice about Aslan's question.

"...I will!" exclaimed Clare.

"Then that settles it." declared Aslan. "Let's have you see everyone else." Clare left with Aslan to see what everyone else in the world thought about her helping out the World of Literature break the White Witch's winterous curse. The adventure's action was just beginning.
