Johnny's POV
Johnny opened the passenger side door for Lulu, with a small smile she thanked Johnny and they made their way up to the small white porch.
"Is this house yours?" Lulu turned to Johnny, impressed that the house was so...normal. the house was painted a baby blue with white rocking chairs placed along either side of the porch, the porch itself was wooden the paint a little faded.
"It belonged to my mother before she got married to my father. I come here whenever I need to escape my life, which is often. Anthony and Claudia won't step foot on this property because the last time they did, my mother's sister out them in their place. I wish I'd gotten to have my mom's family in my life sooner." Johnny explained to her.
"Oh wow. How do you think they'd feel about you bringing me here?" Lulu wonders, glancing at him. Due to the events of the night, she was a little skittish.
"They'd love you, there's no question about it. Let's get you inside, it's cold out." Johnny puts a hand on the small of her back, leading her inside.
"Don't laugh at me but, this is so much nicer than Crimson Pointe." Lulu softly chuckled, sitting down on the soft brown couch that sat in the living room.
"Haha, I agree. Crimson Pointe is just tainted with death and darkness. There's no light." Johnny nods sitting down beside her, looking over her features.
"You know, I lost my mom too. Well, she's still alive but...she's basically a vegetable. I shouldn't talk like that but, after so many years it gets hard to keep the faith." Lulu had been thinking of her mother more with each passing year. Would Laura ever come home to her children?
"You're mom's in Shadybrooke. Right?" Johnny asked her, knowing how hopeless she must feel.
"Yeah, she went catonic when I was six. I try to keep up hope but, it just seems hopeless. I still go and visit her but, it just depresses me. I guess I haven't been feeling like myself in awhile. I've just taken on Logan's load of crap. I am... seriously exhausted." Lulu scratched the side of her head, just wanting to lay down and sleep her problems away.
"I know how it is to grow up without a mother, Anthony shot my mom when I was only seven years old. You deserve a break, you've been dealing with a lot. You shouldn't have to take on Logan's bullshit, that's on him. I know that you care about him but, he hurts you." Johnny takes her hand in his, making her look up at him.
"That is... awful. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, I guess we're more alike than I thought. Of course, you have had it rougher than I have. I wanted to believe that Logan was the person I was meant to be with. When we first got together Logan was sweet and caring, about three months in I noticed a shift in how he acted with me. Logan became rougher whenever I said anything that pissed him off, he hurts me with the messed up things he says. One time we were in bed one morning and he purposely threw up on me, he'd been drinking the night before but I know he did it to spite me. Logan had that jackass smirk he always sports, before telling me to clean myself up. Logan was in the army and I guess a lot of damage was done to him but, so was Coop. Coop isn't like that at all, he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I just don't understand why I'm in the place that I am. I should know better." Lulu vented to Johnny, never saying any of this out loud to anyone. It was driving her crazy keeping all these secrets to herself.
"I would beat his ass if I knew it would make things easier on you." Johnny squeezed her hand.
"Thank you, I appreciate that." Lulu smiled, slightly leaning into him. Johnny wraps an arm around her pulling her body into his chest, hearing light snores coming from the sleeping blonde.
"It's okay, you can rest now. Nobody's gonna hurt you." Johnny whispers into her hair, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
Georgie's POV
"Coop? Do you...have a minute?" I walked over to him as he came into the hospital.
"Of course. What's up?" Coop raised an eyebrow, hoping everything was okay.
"Logan has been beating Lulu, I don't know who to go to about this... because I don't exactly want to be a accessory to murder. I know you and Logan used to be tight." Georgie says in one breath, wringing her hands nervously.
"Wait. WHAT? Oh my God!" Coop stared at Georgie in shock, how could he do this?
"Yeah, my reaction exactly. I can't get a hold of Lulu, I'm really worried. We have to do something." Georgie sighs.
"I can't believe that asshole! I knew he had changed since our days in combat but, I never expected this. I'm gonna go talk to him, I'll call you straight after. Thank you for telling me, Lulu's a good person. She's done everything for Logan, she doesn't deserve this. No woman does." Coop looked back at Georgie, before heading to the elevator to track Logan down.
Logan's POV
"You fucking shot me, you piece of shit!" I groaned, grabbing at my chest.
"Logan, just leave. Get out of my house. I have to be up at five in the morning." Carly was exhausted as she stood up from the floor, a growing bump on her stomach.
Logan let's out a low growl before stumbling out of the door.
