Chapter 2: Relationships (Part 1)
When he first woke up, he'd though everything last night was just a crazy dream. However both fortunately and unfortunately it was not a crazy dream.
Fortunately, because Faith had declared her love to him, and he'd agreed about trying to bring their relationship a step further than it was. He'd admit it, he found her attractive, and not just because of the boobs on her chest. He truly loved her back, and she was practically his best friend for most of his life. If there was anyone he would want to try and start a relationship with, it would be Faith.
Unfortunately, because now he was in another universe. At least that's what Arceus told him. He was likely stranded and far away from the home and people he knew and grew up with, especially his mother. He could no longer defend and hold his Champion title in the Hoenn League, and he could no longer partake in the World Coronation Series.
At least he wasn't alone. He had Faith, which was the most important to him, and every other pokémon he'd met throughout his life. They were kinda like family to him, which was how he would explain the bonds he shares with them.
Right now he was finishing a simple breakfast with Faith sitting beside him. A toasted bagel with cream cheese, a few slices of bacon, and a hard boiled egg. Topping it off was a cup of coffee with some cream in it. Faith had also settled for a bagel with cream cheese, though she deviated with a few pecha berries and a cup of juice instead.
"By the way, uh...how're we gonna break this down to everyone else?" He asked, catching Faith's full attention. "They're all gonna need to know of our new relationship, sooner better than later."
"You feel worried though." Faith stated, again reading him like an open book.
Emmet sighed. "I'm just worried about how some might take it. They may feel that I love you more than them. Which is technically true, but—, you understand. I love them all, but what we share now is something special. I'm just afraid they may take it the wrong way."
"There's no need to be concerned Emmet." The gardevoir reached out and touched her trainer's shoulder. "They'll understand. The thought of you abandoning them would be far from their minds. You've been through so much with all of us that such a reality would be beyond possible, and they know that. They know you."
"I guess that helps ease my mind off some worries. Though now, how're we're gonna handle our new relationship? You have anything specific planned?"
"Not really." Faith admitted. "This is as new to me as it is to you. Though, perhaps spending time together would be a start?"
"Yes, that would be a good start." He'd didn't have any plans leaving the island, and if he did right now he would be venturing out into unknown territory. "We'll figure something out. Maybe a nice walk around the island, fancy lunch? Maybe relaxing on the beach."
"Those sound nice." Both man and pokémon finished their meals. Faith took the dishes and cleaned them while Emmet went through his wardrobe to figure out what he was gonna wear today. He settled for grey jeans and a t-shirt which was what he wore on a casual basis. He picked his attire and went for a quick wash in the shower, coming out and finding Faith sitting on a couch reading a small book.
He'd taught her to read while out on their adventures. It was at the point where she could read and write fluently without any mistake.
She noticed him and set the book down on a side table, planning to finish it later. "You ready to head out?"
"Am I ever not?"
She took that as his answer and they both left the home, coming out into the clearing outside. So far it was empty, with no pokémon in sight. This was normal since they were either still asleep in their own dens or off doing something else. Likely feasting on berries from the trees he had planted around the island. During the islands development, he paid for berry tress of every kind to be planted in just about everywhere in the island. These included cheri, chesto, pecha, rawst, aspear, leppa, oran, and persim which were just the most common around. He had at least one tree dedicated for every berry that existed. Food was pretty much no issue here at all, with the exception of other items not related to berries. He would sort those out after he takes stock of his inventory. If worst comes to worst he can organize his pokémon on gathering trips, assuming what was in this universe was edible.
"Let's start with seeing how everyone is doing right now." Emmet suggested and Faith agreed, following behind him closely. "So...uh—," Emmet tried finding something they could talk about as they walked. Though his mind turned up with a blank slate.
"How about a plan moving forward?" Faith suggested. "As much as I am looking forward to our time together as a close couple, we should make plans for the future. Especially regarding our foods stocks since we have just about a week. Maybe two or three if we ration it extensively."
"I was just thinking about that recently. The berries here will help keep everyone fed, though meals are gonna lose quality without proper substitutes. I may just assign some mons out on gathering trips, see what they can find that's edible."
"You have an excellent talent with cooking. Whatever we find out here, I'm sure you'll find a way to make it taste good."
"You give me too much credit." Emmet argued. "My skills aren't that great, I just cook with actual ingredients bought out of a super market. Making actual food purely from scratch is something I never actually tried before yet."
"You'll figure something out. You always do." The gardevoir always held faith in her human's abilities. That's how she got this far in life with him.
They went on ahead roaming around the island, checking on all the pokémon inhabiting it. The legendaries who were originally here for a short visit, had adjusted and settled down pretty well, finding their own spots to hang out since they were likely gonna be here for awhile. Their first encounter amongst the legendaries was Suicune, who was happy to see Emmet and greeted him with a nuzzle.
"Good to see you've settled down nicely." Emmet said as he rubbed the Aurora Pokémon behind her head crest. "How've you taken the island so far?"
"I find it quite a suitable place to settle down." Suicune answered. "You've picked quite the home for yourself and pokémon."
"It wasn't like this when I first bought it." He remembered when it was nothing more but a rock out in the middle of nowhere. Looked like nothing compared to what it has become now. He had it made into a home for his pokémon, sometimes even inviting a few wild pokémon temporary residence here. "Glad you like it. How're you in general, by the way?"
"I feel fine, though I'm still getting used to these." Suicune now featured several rows of cute nipples lining her belly, eight in total. Her once featureless nethers also received a new addition as well. "My siblings, if you can call them that, have been consistently pointing it out to me, even though they're in a similar predicament." She wasn't the only one of the legendary beasts to feature new genitalia. Raikou and Entei received male features compared to Suicune's female features. Made sense since they were more like brothers, and she was the sister. "How do you even live with these things?"
"You''re asking the wrong individual." Emmet answered. "You'd have to actually ask a human female instead, and there's a distinct lack of them right now."
"Great, thanks for the advice." The Aurora Pokémon thanked with sarcasm. "You know, I've always been curious. You've battled and defeated me, my brothers, and every other legendary pokémon on this island. Our powers are yours to command, yet throughout your entire journey across the world, you've rarely ever called upon us. Why is that?"
"Because...you're too powerful." Emmet answered. "Don't take that as a bad thing. Being powerful is great and all, but it doesn't do any good for improvement if all your opponents stand no chance." He'd learned that when trying to train with Mewtwo. She was simply too powerful that there was no trainer who had pokémon that could match her. Still he was able to improvise with her by conducting 6v1 matches with just her. As crazy as it was, it actually proved to be quite a challenge that she was able to overcome and grow stronger from. "Most trainers believe in the idea of finding and using the best pokémon around. I call that nonsense. To be a trainer is not to find the best, but to make the best. To train ordinary pokémon and grow them to their very best. That is the true duty of a pokémon trainer, and how one is to become the very best."
Suicune seemed to understand his reasons. "I see. An honest and noble goal for a human such as yourself. Is there perhaps a chance you can train me to become stronger as well?"
"I'll think about it." He doubted there would be trainers around any time soon. Perhaps he could use the 6v1 he used on Mewtwo for Suicune as well. "Anyway, it was nice speaking with you Suicune."
"To you as well, Master Emmet." Suicune turned to leave, which inadvertently gave Emmet an unblocked view of her new sex. Her ribbon like tails did absolutely nothing to hide the spade shaped mound of flesh poking through her fur. "Oh! Uhh, there's something I wanted to—," She turned back around but hesitated, not even bothering about the flushed look on Emmet's face. "Never mind." She'd changed her mind about whatever subject she thought of and left.
"You alright?" Faith asked, bringing Emmet back to reality. "She gave you a good flash there, didn't she?"
"Not on purpose, I don't think. I doubt she even realized what she'd just done." Getting a full view of Suicune's nethers had made Emmet feel aroused and attracted in ways he'd never felt before. "I doubt this may be the last time something like this happens."
"Didn't take you for a perv."
"I'm not!" His protest went ignored as Faith cackled a laugh, watching Emmet's face turn even redder. She was just teasing him.
They walked around some more, trying to put the memory of their encounter with Suicune out of their minds. Once 12:00 P.M. hit, they returned back to the house for lunch. His pokémon were likely helping themselves with the berry trees grown around the island. A few were also probably out hunting some fish to eat. Believe it or not, gyarados will eat magikarp, including their own offspring. At least he'd never seen his gyarados do such a thing.
"Hopefully Koraidon and Miraidon don't catch us." Emmet joked as he started preparing sandwiches for lunch. Those two pokémon would not stop giving them the Baby-Doll Eyes until he gave up his sandwich, and that's not even a move they can learn. His sandwich involved mayonnaise, that way his sandwich wasn't dry, a few slices of ham, jalapeños and onions for a bit of spice, cheese and lettuce for bit of extra filling, and to top it all off, a bit of Spicy Herba Mystica he grew in his island.
Faith's sandwich used peanut butter and jam spread mixed on both slices of bread, slices of bananas, apples, and strawberries in between, and a bit of Sweet Herba Mystica for an extra kick. The gardevoir was preparing them both lemonade, using her physic abilities to make the process easier. The two then sat on the outdoor porch when everything was set and ready, sharing a small table.
"You know, maybe you should teach me how to prepare food." Faith suggested while taking a bite of her sandwich. "If you wanna make that restaurant idea a reality, you'll need a hand in it."
"Then who's gonna be the waitress?" Emmet asked after swallowing a bite of his sandwich. "You already fit the role pretty well." During their temporary employment in a restaurant, she'd become popular amongst customers. Probably just for her shiny appearance and feminine figure. But still, she'd helped garner a lot of attention. "It's suits you."
"Yes, but still. Maybe I just want to cook on my own sometimes. Maybe even surprise you on special occasions."
"Ah, so you're thinking about me. You know, perhaps sometime I can show you a thing or two about cooking, maybe you'll even pick it up like I did. You could surprise me with something I'm sure. By the way, your hatching day is in a month, correct?"
"Someone's remembering, as always."
Emmet made an effort to try and remember the hatching days of his pokémon. Though most don't even know the exact date of their hatching days since they had no concept or system for tracking the exact days in a year. "Well, I'm gonna have to find another source for your next gift."
"No need. Consider our relationship an early hatching day present for me." Faith said, which surprised Emmet. Though he didn't object, as long as she was happy with herself. "Someone's coming?"
"Is it those time traveling sandwich maniacs?" Emmet jumped to alert at the possibility of Miraidon or Koraidon approaching.
"No, it's just Mirage." She felt a source of dark energy nearby which was effecting her ability to read it's source's thoughts. Emmet looked around, but saw nothing. However he could feel a very strong aura approaching not far from.
"I know you're there Mirage! Drop it now!" His call was answered by a giggle, just as the air across the front of his house began to shimmer, dropping an illusion a lone Zoroark was hiding in.
"Caught me again? One of these days I'm gonna best you, daddy." Mirage the Zorark said with a grin after revealing herself, and joining her trainer and the gardevoir on the porch. Mirage...he did not obtain through the traditional means. She was given to him as a zorua, by her own dying mother.
The harsh winds of the winter storm had eased up, allowing Emmet and Faith to continue making their way out of the forest and towards the nearest pokémon center. The trainer had not predicted storms to be this bad in Unova. The cold was very extreme, and they were forced to take shelter whenever the winds would get rough. They'd been surviving off of nothing but travel rations and energy bars. While not much in terms of flavor, they provided the energy and calories they needed to push on against the cold. Their only source of warmth was a small heat lamp and a thick blanket both trained and pokémon shared. Emmet's other pokémon had remained in their balls. Hopefully he wouldn't need them until after they were clear of the weather.
"I'm actually gonna check the coming weather next time." Emmet grumbled, having not payed attention to the severity of winter storms and ignoring warnings from other trainers and people. Now he was paying for it.
"The wind's starting to pick up again!" Faith warned. "We need to find shelter before we're caught in the worst of it." The forest tress helped shield them from the majority of the weather, though it still got harsh. Emmet and Faith had picked up the pace, hoping to find something they can use as shelter.
However as they pushed through, a heavy mass tumbled out from the side, landing in the snow not far from where the human and gardevoir stood. They turned, having heard the motion through the windy storm, noticing something concealed amongst the shadows. It started moving, trying to stand but fell back down. Whatever it was, it was alive.
"Hello?! Who goes there?!" Emmet called out, catching the attention of whatever he was looking at. It was then he could make out a pair of blue cyan eyes staring at him. He moved closer, but became cautious as he was met with a warning growl.
It was a pokémon.
He actually never encountered any wilds out in the forest throughout the whole storm. They were likely burrowing or taking shelter to wait out the harsh weather. What was one doing out here?
He continued approaching, though with caution, taking careful steps to not appear threatening or spook the mon. Faith was behind him, ready to act if need be. She couldn't feel the mon's mind or emotions, her abilities blocked by a source of dark energy being emitted. She was cautious.
The pokémon had growled more times, but Emmet was finally able to get close enough to identify the pokémon. He'd seen the district grey fur before, with a large mess of red hair and a chest mane of black. He was staring face to face with a zoroark, a certain pokémon that could cast illusions and he was told be cautious of by many other trainers. However this one did not appear dangerous. Instead it looked pathetic, weak, and tired, barely able to hold it's own eyes on him. It seemed starved, as he was able to notice how thin it was. It's fur was frozen over across several areas of it's body, and it sported severe bruising. He wondered how it's gotten into such a terrible state.
However the most striking feature was what it was protecting in it's arms. A little zorua, just as starved as the Zoroark carrying it. It was a mother, and it was barely surviving alone with it's child.
Emmet knew the mother and young pokémon would die out here unless he intervened. He approached even closer, having to prove to the mother that he wasn't a threat to her or her child. This he tried by offering food in the form of an energy bar. The pokémon oddly refused, staring at him with noticeable suspicion. It was not easy, but he was eventually able to get close enough to touch her without prompting a warning snarl. The mother zoroark finally calmed down and looked at Emmet with less suspicion. She then looked down at her freezing child and did the one thing Emmet least expected.
she pushed her child away from her and towards Emmet, as if in offering. "Please, take...care of her...for me." Emmet didn't understand until the zoroark fainted, and drew her last breath. Ending her struggle against the elements.
Emmet had taken Mirage to the pokémon center after her mother's death, and just in time. Just a few more hours out in the cold and the little zorua would not've made a recovery. Once she was finally conscious, she had imprinted on him, with seemingly no memory of her own mother or the events that previously transpired. She was so young back then. He accepted her as one of his mons, watching her grow and mature as he cared for and trained her. He'd returned to the place her mother had died, finding the body preserved by the ongoing cold. He took the time then to burry her in a grave he dug himself, inscribing the site with the words 'LOVING MOTHER' on a piece of stone. When she eventually evolved into zoroark, he finally talked to her about her origins and how he'd found her. She handled it a bit better than he expected, since she looked to him as her parent, adopted or not.
Even as zoroark, she still took to calling him daddy.
He trained her pretty well, with 31 IVs in attack and special attacks. Her ability with illusions gave her an edge, disguising as different pokémon to fool her opponents. She's even able to outright hide herself and others if they're in overwhelming danger. Like any zoroark, she features the same grey fur with crimson accents resembling makeup. Same black ruff and red mane as any other, but without any bangle holding it together. Her mane instead hanged loosely around her, in a way that it sometimes covered one of her eyes. However what made her different from all other zoroark was a feature that's long been dormant amongst their genetic makeup. She had a vulpine like tail, similar in color as her mane. It was apparently a trait that died out amongst zoroark, but remained as a recessive gene. Apparently she somehow was able to develop hers, making her standout amongst other zoroark. Following their appearance in this new universe, Mirage now had a pair of EE-cup breasts her ruff failed to conceal.
"Like them, daddy?" She asked while holding the mounds in her palms. "They're a bit heavy, but I like the way they make me look. Your's too Faith."
"I agree." Faith acknowledged as she fondled her own boobs. "I think I'm getting used to these."
"How're you doing Mirage?" Emmet tried switching the conversation to something not about boobs. His face already turning red with arousal.
"I'm doing just fine. Been hanging around with some of the other girls, comparing our sizes." It immediately switch back to boobs as Mirage put emphasis on her boobs. "Melody has the largest of us. I'm curious as to how she holds herself up or swims with those things. What do you think, daddy?"
Emmet honestly wasn't exactly sure how to answer. In all honesty, the Soloist Pokémon looked like an absolute sex doll with the size she was carrying. As much as he didn't want to mention it, some companies actually do make sex dolls of pokémon, some even offering custom services. How he knew, well he'd been on the web long enough to accidentally discover a few sites. "I think Melody has something to be proud of," Emmet answered, not wanting to sound rude. "I just hope she's able to get used to them as quickly as possible."
"You know, she did say human boys are attracted to boobs, and claims that she can win your heart with her set." The Illusion Fox pokémon seemingly put out that last bit of information with a bit of spite in it.
"Win my heart? What do you mean by that?" Emmet asked.
"Oh the girls, they want to get closer to you, and think showing off their boobs can get themselves closer to you. They're probably still debating about it and might make their moves tonight during supper." Mirage just gave out information Emmet was a bit concerned about. Faith seemed rather neutral about it, but behavior like this needed to be addressed.
"I will speak with them later over supper. Speaking of which, you hungry?"
"Not right now. I just had my fill with berries while talking with the girls. Although," Mirage turned towards Faith's sandwich. "Can have a slice of apple, please?" The gardevoir pulled a slice of jam and peanut butter covered apple out from her sandwich and placed it in the zoroark's waiting palms. She casually threw it into her mouth upon receiving it. "Thank you." She then turned to leave, but looked back, giving Emmet an innocent grin. "See you at dinner, daddy."
"So, the other girls want me just as you do." Emmet stated once Mirage was out of earshot.
"I felt Suicune's desires for you when we encountered her." Faith admitted. "Though her feelings were mixed with a lot of confusion."
"Suicune? Really?" Emmet hadn't expected the Aurora Pokémon to have a romantic interest in him as well. "Well that's just surprising. We're gonna have to do something about this before they try to make a move on me. I already dedicated myself to you from now on." He didn't want to be one of those boys who were double timing it in a relationship between multiple girls. That was one way he would lose the trust of not only his coming lover, but also his best friend throughout his life. He could never betray Faith like that, after all they've been through together. "Guess getting them to understand might be a bit trickier now."
"They'll just have to accept it, either way." That's what the trainer was afraid of. He didn't want his pokémon to feel heartbroken or upset because of him. He wanted them to be happy, but he didn't want to betray Faith after taking this chance with her. He was caught in a difficult situation. "You're worried again." Faith was reading his mind.
"This just got more complicated than I thought it would, no fault of yours." Emmet assured. "I don't want to upset any of the girls. I love them all too, and you know that. What we have is something more personal and special developing, but now the others want to make their chance with me as well." If only there was a way he could keep everyone happy.
"Perhaps you should allow them."
Emmet had to literally process what Faith'd just said, turning towards her with the most buzzard expression he could manage. "What?"
"Give them the chance." Faith clarified. "I'm not familiar with this, but I've heard of this before. Pokémon sometimes have more than one mate. Apparently, one female, the closest to the male, is considered as a Beta, which holds higher authority and priority over the others. It's a strange system, but it may just be what you're looking for to keep everyone happy. I'm certain they'll agree with it."
"You just literally proposed I set up a literal harem," Emmet stated. "and you're alright with that?"
"I know, it sounds pretty far fetched. I'll leave the decision up to you. If you agree, I'll accept it as well, so long as I am your beta." He'd never though of the idea of starting a harem in general, nevertheless one made up of pokémon. Even though he was technically taking a more romantic relationship with his most trusted pokémon. But if this could possibly help with keeping all the girls happy, he may consider it.
"I'll keep it in mind."
