Mars smirked at Rei, "You're kidding, right? You're vampires, and therefore, you can give them eternal life, and yet what she wants you to do is a spell so she can be reborn along with him?"

"Is it even possible?" She asked, getting to the heart of the matter.

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yes. It's possible. But why would they even want to face dying? They can avoid all that."

Rei replied, "It's what my son wants. That's what matters to me. I even get why. His parents died young, and he and his sister were raised by, but mainly neglected, by his aunt and uncle. In actuality, they only wanted access to the life insurance money. Once that ran out and he was of age, they split, and he raised his younger sister, who was then raped and murdered by a vampire. He next went through bitterness, causing him to join The Order of Van Helsing. And then he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. And finally, he met Mayumi —he found the love of his life and a daughter. He got to his happy ending, but it was a challenging and twisted road.

"I don't know how many lifetimes he will choose to die and not become a vampire. But I know he wants to be assured he will find her and love her again. He knows that Jadeite and I will ensure he has a wonderful life. And maybe he will get to the point where he wants to preserve his past as well as his future."

He thought about that and said, "I worried about Naru —I like her. She will have to watch her parents die, but it shows a lot of trust in her, doesn't it? They believe she will still love them in their next life."

She smirked, "You weren't worried about me?" Rei believed it wasn't a slight.

"You're my daughter, after all. It will hurt, but you're strong. I know you can handle this if it's what he wants. Plus, I know you want the chance to raise your child. I can see that he's also giving you a gift. I am hoping that he will only go through one last incarnation, though."

"That's his choice."

"I believe that. Now," he added, getting down to business. "I will impart the knowledge of the spell to you. But make sure you have Jadeite aid you. Because of his transition into a vampire, he's a good conductor for your magic. Otherwise, this will wipe you out for a while."

"Trust me, he loves feeding on me and feeling my magic."

"I bet he does," Mars said, giving her a significant look and smirking.

She didn't argue that he was making it sexual when she didn't mean it that way. Jadeite had a habit of always making it sexual, too. She realized Mars was more accurate in that statement than she was.

She ended up replying, "Not in front of our son. Really, Mars!" she tried to scold but ended up cracking a smile.

Boy-toy number one stood by Beryl and handed her the paperwork she had requested. "This is every document found among Rebeus' possessions."

She placed the folders on her desk and started flipping through the documents. After thirteen minutes, she held one sheet and said, "This coroner, he showed up the next day without any marks on him?"

"Yeah, I figured it was a dead end."

She raked her eyes over his naked toned body, "You're lucky your cock's massive, or I wouldn't have any use for you. Idiot."

Beryl scanned the document again and flicked her wrist at him. "Go lay in my bed. I'll join you when I'm done here."

As he left, she watched his tight ass go. She liked fucking the man, but she admitted that was all he was good for.

She then thought about this, Yamato. No way did she believe that he would make it out unharmed after being kidnapped by Diamond's men. Beryl thought about how he was a brilliant man and someone she would have been willing to have fun with if he didn't have a predilection for his sister.

Back on topic, she came to the conclusion that Yamato had to have had some supernatural help. It was the only way he could have come out uninjured. Now, the question was, did he know who gave him the assistance or not?

Beryl decided it didn't matter one way or the other. She would just put him under surveillance, and if that didn't turn anything up, she would just have to put him in danger and see who showed up.

She left the papers lying on her desk and then made her way to her room. She was looking forward to the sex that was awaiting her.

"You're cute like that," Sapphire said as he sat down on the front steps of Mayumi and Satoru's home.

Naru didn't reply. She just cocked her head at him.

He chuckled, "No comment?" Sapphire then stood and opened the front door. "Coming in?"

Naru purred and trotted through the front door. Once she was inside, she morphed from a cat back into being a human. "You don't think people will think it's odd to see you talking to a cat?"

"You don't think I look like an animal lover?" He said, emphasizing the lover part and pulling her body flush to his.

"That's not one of your many kinks," she said breathily as his lips hovered close to hers.

Sapphire raised one eyebrow. "Many? Is it all too much for you?"

She shook her head, "You know it isn't." She gave him a heated look. "But you have to be honest. You have a lot."

He slid his hands over her pert backside. "I didn't have any until I met you. You inspire me." He then squeezed her butt.

She then heard Satoru coughing significantly, and as she stepped out of his arms, she whispered, "And being caught in mildly intimate situations is just one of them."

Satoru frowned but didn't comment on where he had seen Sapphire's hands on his daughter. "Any news?"

"No," Sapphire replied. "Various theories, but nothing useful. Hatori damn near put his fist through the wall in frustration when he heard of the latest dead end.

"What was that?" Naru asked.

"That's why I'm here. We hate to ask it of you, Satrou, but can you use your connections to discover anything about Daiki Kubo? Dracula was sure he was the current head of the Tohoku region, but we're not so sure anymore. There isn't any proof anyone has heard from him in almost half a year. He was fired from work too, oddly enough, on the same day as his son seven months ago."

"They were both fired?"

"Yeah, and his son was a pharmacist, and he was a metallurgical engineer. It makes no sense."

Satoru scowled, "I should have heard of that. I wasn't the president then, but I was the vice president."

"Could the former president have kept it a secret from you?"

"No, those communications come directly to each of us. Maybe Yuki will know something. He was keeping an eye on everything and snooping."

Sapphire nodded in hope more than agreement. He didn't think Yuki would know anything, either. It all screamed that it was a massive cover-up.

He then tossed a box to Satoru that made a jingling noise as he caught it. "For you and Mayumi —pack."

"What?"

"I don't know if you noticed, but you've had a cat practically living outside."

"I thought it was the neighbors, and what's the point? That is a huge change in the subject."

Sapphire replied, "She's terrified for you. And the more holes and mysteries this murder has, the more I agree with her."

"I don't understand," Satoru replied, opening the box and looking at two sets of keys. "What does a cat and keys have to do with this?"

"She didn't want to tell you so she could guard you, and you wouldn't tell her it was unnecessary. She is the only one of us that can transform. She can become a lion or a house cat."

Satoru looked in shock, "You're kidding! Wait! When have you rested?" He asked, glaring at Naru.

"I can rest when you're safe," she replied. "I don't need sleep —I'm a vampire. If something happened to you or Mom, it would kill me!"

"Hence the keys. We're all moving in together. I took a page out of Usagi's book, and I got us all a penthouse. There will be plenty of room for us, and the square footage of your wing is larger than your house. So you can't say you don't want to be in the way." He then focused on Naru and added, "Luna hand-picked the security system."

"Where did the money come from?" Naru asked.

"I was Diamond's financial guy. It's all our money now, and I want to use it to protect the ones I care about."

Satoru looked at Sapphire and considered the situation. He knew that he wouldn't win if he fought this, and he didn't want Naru to stress out and feel like she had to keep constant watch over him and Mayumi. "When do we move?"

"Now. Pack for three days. The movers come in two, but you won't want to fight through boxes immediately."

Sapphire and Naru then sat and waited as Satoru went to pack.

Once he was gone, Sapphire leaned over Naru, pressing her back to the couch. "Back to my kink about enjoying getting caught with you."

She chucked and pressed her hands to his chest, pushing a bit, "He's right upstairs."

"I know. It's exciting." He then kissed her neck.

She let out a small moan as he next nipped at her neck with blunted teeth. "And they are moving in with us. Both of my parents could catch us."

He then said, "I'm so hard right now," as he heard Mayumi's keys jiggle in the lock.

Reika was sitting at the arcade counter and trying to be discreet as she checked out Motoki's butt from across the room. He was waiting on some customers, and she used his distraction to her advantage.

"Gross," she heard from behind her.

She spun her chair, smirked, and shook her head. "Unazuki, I promise you nothing about that man is gross." She then smiled at the woman.

Shuddering, Unazuki said, "It's my brother. It's icky, for sure."

"You're nineteen. Surely, you can understand the basics of attraction between a man and a woman."

"Absolutely. But I still maintain that dork is my brother, and it's not natural."

Reika shrugged, "Agree to disagree?"

"I guess we have to," Unazuki replied. She then laughed, "I tease, but I do like the two of you together."

Reika raised one eyebrow, "You like me?"

"My parents do, too. You're brilliant, and that's a huge help. We have nineteen of these arcades across Japan. Surely you can imagine we worried some woman would go after him for our family money. We all quickly realized that if you want money, you're smart enough to make it yourself. You don't need to marry for wealth." Unazuki then filled Reika's coffee. "Come over for dinner on Saturday."

"I would love to," Reika responded. She then glanced over at Motoki. "I get why you all were worried. He's a good man and wouldn't assume some woman was trying to take advantage of him. But that was never a consideration for me. I thought this was the only arcade that your family owned."

Unazuki blushed. "Oops. The cat's out of the bag, I guess."

"Don't worry, all that money only makes him nominally more attractive," Reika teased.

Rick entered the arcade and saw two beautiful women talking at the counter. He had come to meet Motoki, Mamoru's friend, and was entranced by the woman with orange hair. He wasn't dumb. Based on her uniform and what he knew about the family running the arcade, he worried that he was attracted to someone who would turn out to be Motoki's sister.
