Episode 5-part 1
[(The opening cutscene.) The plumbed punisher show is so terrible I can think of ten sins for the thirty-ish seconds it is on screen. It's not even comedy terrible, it's just…woah, when did Sasha Buckler land a lead role in this thing?]
"Yes, the show is terrible, But that what's it meant to be like. It is a direct plagiarism of a really successful show form a different country. Those never turn out good. And do you really think a country suppressed by an authoritative regime that legitimizes the murders of hundreds of people with the slightest excuse would make good TV? The show is used by the regime to keep the people suppressed. Dictatorship 101 is to not allow people to think freely. Make every program feed everything to them the way it serves you. And that's pretty much what the program is doing. Giving the young people a false idea of what the rebels are like so that growing up, they won't try to support them." One sin added.
(Dhurke does everyone a favor and take this show off the air. Unfortunately, the show he replaces it with has doesn't know how lighting works. Does Khura'in not have anyone decent who makes films by trade? Not even a Retinz?)
"Not as far as we know. Given how all the programs are meant as propaganda, I don't think any expert filmmakers would be required. And why would the defiant dragons consults an expert to make their video? They want to make a political statement, not the Khura'inese edition of V for Vendetta." One sin added.
(We have obtained the founder's orb.) Dhurke's bluff game is worse than any of Phoenix Wright's. He couldn't have waited until after the first part of this case to record the message?)
"Considering as soon as he sets foot back in Khura'in, he will be most likely be arrested or caught up in a crazy murder case, I think it was clever of him to do this before. He knows he is in danger right now and he wants to make his political statement before something happens to him." One sin added.
[(The jump cut to zoom in.) They know how to do this with a camera, but now how to set Dhurke up in decent lighting?]
"Yes…how are those two even comparable? Anyone who knows how to use a camera can zoom in. You have to be much more knowledgeable to handle proper lighting. And, once again, that's nor what the defiant dragons are aiming for. Dhurke is making a statement. And he does use logical arguments, like the legal tragedy that is the DC act. People will focus on that, not the goddamn lighting!" One sin added.
(Starting gameplay.) TV news continues to only report on what is pertinent to the game's characters at any given time.]
"Yes. And after seeing it so many times, a normal person would realize there is a reason this is done-to not drag the case on for too long-but not you. You just see something happening over and over and assume there is no method to the madness." One sin added.
[(Dhurke shows up.) How did he enter the WAA without anyone noticing him? He was just on TV and is in no way inconspicuous or in disguise this entire case. Even if Maya waited until she was outside their door to change and channel him…]
"Pierce answers her own question cliché. Maya left Khura'in as herself, arrived in America as herself, went to WAA as herself and only channeled Dhurke before opening the door." One sin added.
"And for the part afterwards where you claim he should have been arrested later on as a foreign terrorist…he is a foreigner. The American police has no right to detain or even question him without an international warrant and Interpol does not realize his presence there to issue one. If you are going to shit on a legal parody game, at least study up on basic law." One sin added.
(Trucy gives a voice to every player during the "Dhurke was Apollo's foster dad" scene.)
"I agree. Apollo barely got any characterization or backstory in AJ and was merely a pawn in Phoenix's scheme. That was bad enough on its own. But it's even worse here. Because the developers tried to overcompensate in DD and SOJ by giving him nine different backstories. I mean, his backstory is not that complicated. He was born in Khura'in, his dad got killed in a fire, he got adopted by a rebel, sent to America for safety, became friends with Clay and worked under Kristoph. That's not that complex. What is complex is the fact they seem to be making shit up as they go along and not give any hints to any new backstories before they happen." One sin removed.
(Trucy calls Dhurke dad after knowing him for five, even though he has no intention of adopting her. I realize they wanted to parallel with AJ Phoenix Wright, but this goes too far.)
"Nobody was thinking of it in those terms, least of all the game. This is Trucy joining Dhurke's joke about her and Apollo being a good couple. That's really creepy to us because we have knowledge that characters are not privy to. Its played for laughs in-game due to the characters' ignorance. I really wish they would get to it one day though. Now that AA7 is most likely coming out…" one sin added.
(How did Datz even fly here? We later learn he used a Khura'inese passport, but shouldn't his passport be revoked-and he be on a no-fly list-for being an escaped prisoner and all?)
"Ever heard of fake passports? We already saw in the third case the guy is great at faking and he could have worn a disguise of some kind." One sin added.
(We interrupt your regularly scheduled murder mister to bring you Apollo Justice: ace treasure hunter.)
"This bullshit!" one sin added.
(Dhurke's pictures of Nahyuta and Apollo running naked in the fields were not included in the final version of the game. I'm glad Capcom doesn't want me on a Government watchlist, but it sure sounds like Dhurke's on one.)
"Since you were kind of asking for the photographs to be shown, I have to assume you are kind of sad it didn't happen. And I have to say…Pierce might be one of those people that hang around schools for no apparent reason." Three sins added.
(Apollo is in any way surprised a case he takes on involves a death/murder.)
"Well, he hasn't actually taken a case on yet. He was just helping Dhurke retrieve the orb. Until the case goes to court as a civil trial, this is not an official case. So there was no guarantee a death would occur so quickly." One sin added.
(One of Aura's robots made it into Dr. Buff's study. As did the often breaking urn, the scroll and statue of Ami Fey. Not sure why any of the involved parties would give their stuff to this guy…)
"I will stop you right there. We will not be entertaining your boldface lies today, miss. They did not lend Dr. Buff anything! He stole all that. He was basically a thief. And they did not know because he kept them hidden in his house outside any windows' viewpoint. I mean, you are not going to claim he kept them in a space where anyone passing by could have noticed them…are you?" one sin added.
"And yes, I am being ironic. Later on you show you know he stole them, and you admit it nullifies this sin. But this sin is still in the fic!" one sin added.
(Why the fuck would Datz carry a phone, something that is easily tracked? Even if he's been using burners, the contents can still be picked up on.)
"Can they? Sure, they are not completely untraceable, but specific technology is required to find their owner. Datz and Dhurke are not being hunted by the American police, that has the means to find them through their phones. And I don't think the traditional, old-fashioned police of khura'in has access to such advanced tech. And since the police has no right to arrest them on American soil, they are safe as long a they don't get involved in any criminal activity. Datz did last night, but it's too late to get rid of his phone now. And he doesn't really have a choice. He and Dhurke need to keep in touch to organize their moves. And mail pigeon post is not exactly reliable for a rebel group." One sin added.
(Paul Atishon.)
"Sinning Atishon. Yes, I know the guy is a giant turd…but that's the point. The guy is meant as a parody of politicians like Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump. He is meant to be annoying and a stuck-up jerk, because that's the impression most modern politicians give. Ae you sinning satire too now, sis?" one sin added.
(Also, is he supposed to be making fun of Hilary Clinton with the emails or Kim Jong Un with the design and grandfather?)
"So you get he is supposed to be a parody of modern politicians to show how most of them are evil, selfish and greedy, but are still extremely popular…but you still sin the fact he is shown as evil, selfish and greedy while being extremely popular. Huh…" One sin added.
(Is his head bobbing to his own theme song?)
"Maybe,…but if you have no further questions, I wanna ask…who the fuck cares?!" one sin added.
(How the fuck does Inga have influence over politics in California?)
"Who said he did? All we know is he acted as Atishon's benefactor to ensure his election. That doesn't necessarily mean rigging the elections in his favor. He might have provided him with funds to organize a national campaign or to buy a few votes. He might have also bribed or scared other candidates into withdrawing their candidacy. All of that also counts as influence and it is something the king of a nation could do and it is not exactly illegal." One sin added.
"Also…a foreign nation wouldn't have influence in American…Hahahahaha! Sorry, sorry. A foreign nation wouldn't have influence in American…ahahahahahahaha! I…I am sorry, but…you have to excuse me…if I can't say that with a straight face!" One sin added.
(Also, why would Inga choose this asshole to handle the stolen orb? And why doesn't Atishon think it's weird a foreign consort-justice minister can help him win an American election? Doesn't he know foreign Governments aren't allowed a hand in… Ohhh. For a game that came out before the 2016 elections, it sure hits home surprisingly well.)
"Inga needed a lackey to handle the orb for him in America. Atishon was very ambitious and would do anything in exchange for support in his campaign, so it was easy for Inga to manipulate him." One sin added.
"Also, I would add two sins for sinning the same thing twice, but…you show that you are aware of the perfect timing of the political satire, which is very correct on the messages it tries to deliver, but still sin it. So…eat five sins!" five sins added.
(Dhurke says he'd be sent back to Khura'in for execution if he was arrested in the US.) Yet Datz isn't facing that very problem because…reasons.]
"Did you bother learning those reasons or just assumed they are stupid? Dhurke is the leader of a terrorist organization. He will be extradited after arrest. All Datz did was break out of prison-which is moot since his arrest was unlawful-and illegally entering America. But he was able to prove his arrival in the country was legal after he got his passport back, which he had left in his suitcase. So there is no charge against him and no reason to extradite him." One sin added.
(Apollo defending Datz in a criminal credits was not included in the final version of the game.)
"I'm pretty sure that's what he's doing in this part of the case. Datz is implicated by Phoenix for Dr. Buff's murder and gets detained in the courtroom. If Apollo couldn't prove Atishon guilty, Datz would be arrested and go to prison. So Datz does act like a kind of defendant in this case." One sin added.
(In a truth contest between foreign revolutionaries and an American politician, the former wins out. Why does that nor surprise me?)
"Because you are aware how untrustworthy politician are deemed to be maybe? You know, the literal joke of this whole character? I would trust rebels with a noble cause over any politician. And I'm pretty sure every sane person would agree with me." One sin added.
[(The orb transfer agreement.) The game goes on to make it sound like it matters who hurts Dr. Buff, but the contract itself only states that he mustn't come to any harm if the orb is to be delivered, with no clause for whether it was a specific party who hurt him.]
"Yet another scene manipulation. The agreement states: " I agree to hand over the Founder's Orb to the Defiant Dragons if I will come to no harm." It is clear to any person who isn't a moron that he means he will not be harmed by the defiant dragons, the only other party mentioned in this document." One sin added.
[(The drone.) You know ace attorney is insane when an armed helicopter drone with a military fetish starts interrogating you and you actually have to question if that's the craziest thing you've seen in this series so far.]
"Yes…it is pretty crazy. But why is that a sin? Did you not read my DD review, turnabout reclaimed? We love the series for being crazy and silly in an enjoyable and wholesome way. It's what we expect when coming here and what we want and what we need." One sin added.
"Also, sinning Armie Buff. That' worth…this many sins." Ten sins added.
(Simple disobedience warrants an immediate firing squad? What war movie is Armie watching? Doesn't her father regulate her Netflix?)
"Why are you assuming she learnt about military through movies? Yes, maybe partially. But maybe she read a book, saw a documentary or just read something on the internet. I don't think her father can regulate all of that." One sin added.
"Also, still sinning Armie Buff." Ten sins added.
(Orphaned child cliché.)
"Where the hell is this considered a cliché? You mean that it happens all the time in real life with serious ramifications and the game is being realistic by using it? Because that's bullshit!" one sin added.
(Pearl's panting skills.)
"Maybe Pearl is not that great a painter. So what? Not everyone is. So, are you Picasso? Because if so, you are just very arrogant to assume everyone else is stupid for not being on the same level as you. And if you also are not that good, that is nothing to be ashamed of, but it does make you a hypocrite." One sin added.
"Also, not removing any sins for this return." Five sins added.
(Edgeworth has a fairly pointless role in this case.)
"Does he? He helps us all get to Khura'in and then he actually takes part in the investigation as our partner. That's also when we get the amazing image of the dog hanging from his cravat. If your heart doesn't melt when seeing that, you are officially dead inside." One sin added.
"Also, not removing any sins for this return." Twenty sins added.
(Perceiving Pearl.) Writers really wanted this to be a psyche-lock segment, but forgot to give Apollo a magatama, so they switched up the background and hoped no one would notice.]
"What even is this sin? That's how perceive has always worked. Apollo noticing a nervous tic of a person that is related to what they're lying about. And then presenting a piece of evidence that proves they are lying about something. What is so different here that it justifies this ridiculous complaint?" one sin added.
(To save on animation, most of the inside of the cave sequence occurs on a black screen.)
"Yes…and that's because this cave is very deep. It is supposed to be dark. Apollo and Dhurke are barely able to find their way around there. You expected a cave to be covered in light?" one sin added.
(Scene of Dhurke milking a yak was not included in the final version of…)
"Skip!" one sin added.
(Seeing Dhurke and Apollo fall everywhere really makes me wonder how Dr. Buff got down here in the first place.)
"You say everywhere…but they only fall down twice. One of which is at the entrance to the cave. So they only fall down once. And they end up right in the room with the orb. It stands to reason there is a path leading downwards that Dr. Buff found and used to get down more safely." One sin added.
[(The water is salty.) Well, I'd be salty too if I was stuck down here with a cave system that takes hours to…oh, you mean it's from the ocean.]
"Look, I liked that joke. It was cool and I admit I laughed when I first read it. But…why is that a sin of the game? Again: why sin the game for your jokes and not make a separate joke counter? It's been nearly seven years since you wrote this fic…and we are still no closer to getting an answer." One sin added.
(We interrupt your regularly scheduled murder mystery to being you…puzzles. And no, this isn't the Layton crossover.)
"Pierce makes a pop culture reference…" one sin added.
(How do we know Dr. Buff didn't just plant a fake in the flooding cave to discourage people after the orb?)
"Maybe he did. No, that is a likely scenario. But the possibility the orb in the cave is the real one still exists. Apollo and Dhurke want to make sure if it is true or not. And they should try to check it out since they are pretty much stuck here." One sin added.
(Apollo complains about Nahyuta doing his job as a prosecutor in this universe.)
"That's not his complaint. He says how Nahyuta was cheerful and kind as a kid and now he's a stubborn, uptight jerk that hates everyone and makes a bunch of insults to everyone that moves. That's a drastic change and not a welcome one." One sin added.
(Dhurke forgot dragons are mythical creatures in an otherwise inspiring speech about willpower. And yes, I am a nitpicky asshole.)
"Agreed." One sin added.
(Also, Dhurke makes entirely too many jokes about his life for a surprisingly dead guy. Is this supposed to be foreshadowing or irony? Either way, it's a sin.)
"So you admit you would sin it either way…even though both irony and foreshadowing have been used in dozens of movies and games for many years. And you still haven't bothered to explain why they are supposed to be sinful. Guess you are just good at being a nitpicky asshole, not an explain-why-I-am-a-nitpicky-asshole asshole." One sin added.
(Dhurke goes searching for an underground passage to the ocean.) While correct that it hat to exist, Dhurke has no idea if the passage is always large to fit a person his size or how long he has until he reaches it. In other words, this guy is too damn lucky to have died already.)
"True, he can't predict if the passage will be large enough for them to escape…but he doesn't really have a choice. They are trapped in a drowning cave with no way out. If he doesn't take this gamble, they will definitely drown. If he does take it, they have at least one chance to making it back outside. And Dhurke will choose taking a risk over doing nothing and allowing himself and his son to die." One sin added.
(The drowning scene goes on too long to actually be Apollo drowning. Or, at least, to be drowning and still live. So…yeah, the survive this.)
"Why do you think the entirety of the scene is Apollo drowning? The screen goes to black and the noise of the water stops pretty quickly. Apollo loses consciousness and dreams about the time Dhurke saved him as a child. But that most likely happened after Dhurke pulled him out. And Dhurke must also have reached the surface on the other side quickly to arrange Apollo's rescue." One sin added.
(Datz laughs at Apollo for nearly dying.)
"Well, now that he got saved and is in no danger, there is room for humor. Gotta lift the spirits somehow." One sin added.
[(How Dhurke saved Apollo.) Random fishermen regularly carry around string long enough to pull two men through a cave system at no risk of breaking or getting snagged. Who knew?]
"True…that would never happen in real life…but since this is a game that is not supposed to mirror reality… Pierce failing at game logic n. 236610." One sin added.
(Man admits to committing attempted murder in front of several witnesses, one of which is a detective. Naturally, these actions lead to no consequences whatsoever.)
"This guy is a politician. And we can see that he has a lot of influence over the country. So how exactly would the word of any of those people, even Ema, be accepted? Nobody will believe them without evidence. Sometimes not even with evidence." One sin added.
[(Phoenix shows up.) Damn! They should have called this part turnabout civil war. And now we find out Phoenix didn't actually become a prosecutor over the course of this game. The trailer lied to me!]
"If you believe everything you see in trailers, that's really your problem. But Phoenix does act like a prosecutor here. He accuses an innocent man, covers for the true culprit and makes all kinds of far-fetched arguments to support his story. So he did become a prosecutor in a way." One sin added.
"Also, sinning this plot twist." Twenty sins added.
(Also, Phoenix is about to face his second loss in this series. Third if you count the case where he lost his badge. Basically, he's fucked up in any game that has the word justice in its title.)
"Considering two out of those three loses were on purpose-since he dropped the case and left the true criminal alone-I don't think fucked up is the term you should use for them. Also, how is that a sin? You stated a fact about the series…but you game zero reason why that is a problem of the game." One sin added.
[(To court.) If Trucy isn't going to take sides, why is she hanging out in Apollo's defendant lobby. Shouldn't she already be in the courtroom or off telling her father the same thing?]
"Maybe Trucy already went to Phoenix's lobby and said the same thing to him. We never see where she was before talking to Apollo and she never denies talking to Phoenix first. You wouldn't happen to be manipulating a scene again, would you?" one sin added.
(Also, Apollo opts to be mysterious instead of explaining the situation to Athena.)
"Pierce manipulating a scene again. Apollo tells Athena it's a civil case. She finds it strange, since that would require two lawyers, and asks who the opposing attorney is. Apollo is about to tell her, but they get called into the trial. Apollo has no time to explain the situation to Athena and she is about to see for herself anyway." One sin added.
(How did Atishon get his carriage inside the courtroom? The door behind him isn't nearly large enough.)
"Pierce failing at game logic n. 236611." One sin added.
(Dr. Buff stole those trilogy references…I mean, relics? Damn. I guess my earlier sin in moot. But since I'm a dick, sin returned for the Feys never noticing he'd taken their stuff, when it was in an open room with lots of windows and not hidden in any way.)
"See? What did I tell you? Her earlier sin is moot…but for some reason it still exists." One sin added.
"Also, you are again lying through your teeth. The relics were not in plain sight. They were in his house, hidden behind a stone wall. They were outside of the viewpoint of any windows. Yes, they would see it if they came into his house, but there is no proof anyone ever did." One sin added.
(Dr. Buff somehow stole an entire wall from Khura'in.)
"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.
(At Phoenix's prodding, Atishon admits to filing a false report while in court. Naturally, these actions lead to no consequences whatsoever.)
"Oh, there would be consequences. A slap on the wrist and...that's it. That's what influential politicians get for any crimes lower than murder or terrorism." One sin added.
[(The illustrious story of the Atishon clan.) This testimony.]
"Pierce points out things on the screen again." One sin added.
(Man trying to get elected democratically compares himself to a king far too often to have any real shot in American politics.)
"Considering Atishon is partially based on Donald trump, the same guy who got elected in 2016 through masterminding the Cambridge Analytica scandal and having Russia rig the election and still maintained his position until 2020 even after those facts came to light and is still influential in political life despite having been indicted for about a hundred different felonies in three different states…yeah, I wouldn't be so sure about that." One sin added.
(The founder's orb and the crystal of Ami Fey were made centuries apart, right? Why can't someone just analyze the item's age to settle the dispute?)
"Because, while effective, analyzing an artifact to determine its age can take weeks, maybe even months. Archelogy is very lengthy work and they don't have the timeframe in this trial to even beginning such a procedure. My brother is an archeologist, so I know about those things. One sin added.
(Ema knew the wound couldn't have come from falling to the floor, but she didn't feel the need to report it before the trial started tomorrow and have the police declare it a murder before anyone got to court, even though that's her job. I guess she had a deal with Phoenix to maximize dramaticism.)
"Yes, she did have a deal with Phoenix. To keep it under wraps so that Phoenix can use it to further hurt Apollo's case in court. She has known him since her teen years and he saved her. She is most loyal to him than anyone else." One sin added.
(Objection 2004…I mean, 2016 being played against you.)
"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.
(The one time Phoenix is semi-prepared for a trial is when we're facing off against him. Because he can't be playable and competent at the same time.)
"No…he can't…because then the games would be a lot less compelling. How would you like the games if you didn't do much and Phoenix was able to figure everything out on his own? Wouldn't it be like watching a movie? Which, while cool, is not what you came here for? Again, thank God you are not a writer at Capcom." One sin added.
(Phoenix get revenge for Datz accusing and committing perjury against Maya by…accusing him of murder and having someone perjure against him. And people say his AJ side went away in DD.)
"Putting aside the fact that Phoenix is forced to do this and has no other choice if he wants Maya to live…Datz was kind of a jerk to Phoenix. Sure, we get to like him, but he almost got Phoenix and Maya executed. So Phoenix is kind of getting even with him here." One sin added.
(Atishon fretting about the gruesome murder in Khurain village.) This guy would have been alive for Reunion and turnabout and should definitely know that murder was way more gruesome than this one. Not to mention the killing at Hazakura which involved several Khurain village members. I get it's been years, but why does the thought surprise him anymore?)
"Who's to say he cared to find out about the details in either case? This guys only hears what he wants to hear and he only cares about this murder because he commited it." One sin added.
(Armie calls Datz a capitalist pig and threatens to turn him into Stroganoff beef after firing missiles at him. Naturally, these actions lead to no consequences whatsoever.)
"Pierce failing at game logic n. 236612." One sin added.
(Armie's drone malfunctions when she takes damage. It also sweats oil. I guess it was built in the same factory as de Killer's transceiver then?)
"Pierce failing at game logic n. 236613." One sin added.
(Athena can pick up on the emotions of a digitally transmitted voice undergoing vocal modification with no problems or inaccuracies. Because….bullshit.)
"When was it established that Athena's mood matrix relied on the voice being real or digital? She can detect the emotions on the voice of a person depending on the way the speak, something that can be detected even digitally. And, again, this is a game. Not everything needs to be perfectly logical." One sin added.
[(This G.I. Jane is always ready for a fight in the courtroom.) Except for the last case and turnabout countdown when she was woefully unprepared.]
"Pierce makes a reference to a difference case that isn't a sin of this case cliché." One sin added.
[(Sarge confiscates widget and the gavel.) Suggestion about including a military tribunal will inspire a case with soldiers in a future game. Calling the theory now.]
"Sinning this breakdown. That's worth…this many sins." Thirty sins added.
[(Bailiff trying to catch a drone.) This is not a cutscene.]
"And that's done to show how chaotic the whole scene is. There is so much chaos going on that they couldn't even show it. They leave it up to us to imagine what exactly went down." One sin added.
(Why does Apollo just randomly have a lighter on hand?)
"Is it that weird for people to carry lighters around? I don't think it is that weird for people to carry lighters around." One sin added.
(Athena looks entirely too excited about setting evidence on fire to be a trustworthy lawyer in this series.)
"Considering setting it to fire is what gets the definitive evidence to come to light, I think it's the opposite." One sin added.
(Long pauses.)
"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.
(Is Apollo bent over when he talks to Armie or is her wheelchair exceptionally tall?)
"Pierce failing at game logic n. 236614." One sin added.
(Paul Atishon arranges meet and greets to people's houses at eleven pm.)
"Pierce points out things on the screen cliché." One sin added.
(We interrupt your civil case to bring you…Farewell my turnabout.)
(No, I'm not kidding. This is literally a play by play of farewell my turnabout, minus shelly de Killer and Franziska von Karma. Why leave out the two best parts?)
"I agree. This pretty repetitive and does kind of make the series show its age. But you sinned the same thing twice. Those two sentences could have been included in the same sentence and counted as one sin. Are you padding the sins count, sis? I think you are padding the sin count." One sin added.
(Atishon makes the same mistake as Matt Engarde in hiring Phoenix as his lawyer. Why force someone to help you when plenty of lawyers in this universe would do it willingly.)
"Maybe…but don't forget Inga arranged Maya's kidnapping. And he had Atishon go to Phoenix. You think Inga knows about Kristoph Gavin or Robert Hammond or any American lawyers? He only knows of Phoenix because he first got to his country a few weeks ago and completely turned their legal system on its head. He has seen his immense talent and believes he is the best for the job." One sin added.
(Atishon's breakdown, while awesome, relies on him being able to see what the TV programmers put to scroll above his head by looking up. And that's not possible.)
"Pierce failing at game logic n. 236615." One sin added.
"Also, sinning this breakdown." Twenty sins added.
(Phoenix says Maya is being held hostage by the mastermind.) Wait…when did Simon Keyes get out of prison?]
"Pierce makes a reference to a different game…" one sin added.
(Narration.)
"Pierce hates narration for no reason cliché." One sin added.
Total sin tally: 197
Sentence: to be continued in part 2
