Kela's POV,

The Zinogre was able to take us back to the village and my partner still hadn't woken up. Still, there was something different about this Zinogre. I soon hear the sound of the village defenses preparing. Wasting no time, I climbed to the top of the Zinogre and stood up.

"HOLD YOUR WEOPANS!" I shouted, making them see me.

I saw them looking surprised before a few ran off, no doubt to get the Elder. I climbed back down the Zinogre and checked on my partner. The Zinogre lowers itself, allowing me to climb down and pull my partner off it as well.

I heard the gates open and the Elder stepped out. He seemed to be on guard but the Zinogre didn't move. If anything, it seems to keep its eyes on my partner. I nodded at the Zingore and started walking toward the Elder. Only spotting Daman looking ready to attack.

"Daman, stand down." The Elder said, making the rookie hunter turn.

"But, Elder! That's a Zinogre! We can't let it..." He started.

"STAND DOWN!" The Elder yelled.

I saw Daman groan and put his duel blades away. I soon walked up to them, still carrying my partner.

"Kela, what happened?" He asked me.

"It's a bit of a long story," I said, looking back at the Zingore.

First-person,

You could hear some voices as the darkness started to fade. However, you couldn't move. Your body felt like it was...stinging? You weren't sure. However, the voices started to clear up as the darkness faded.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, it looked like a Zingore but it was more human."

"Hmm,"

You groan, making the two people turn to you.

"Partner!"

You opened your eyes and saw Kela and the Elder looking over you. You carefully sat up, seeing the village doctor helping you up. Your body still felt like it was stinging, but it slowly started to fade.

"Glad to see you're away, Hunter. Kela told me what happened during your hunt." He said.

It took you a few seconds to remember the hunt as well, and remeeting the Zingore before it did something to make you pass out.

"Tell me, what do you remember?" The Elder asked you.

You told the Elder your side of the story, and hearing voices in your head. You then mention Monster Born and saw the Elder gain a worried look on his face.

"Are you sure that's what you heard?" He asked.

You nodded and he turned away.

"Damn, the legend is true then." He said, confusing you and Kela.

"Legend?" Kela asked.

"Long ago, a human discovered that he could hear the voices of the monsters and could even share their power. As it turns out, that human was known as a Monster Born. A name that was given to him by the monsters themselves. The human wanted to show the world his new gift, but the people stun him and refuse to believe him. They said he had fused with so many monsters he was no longer the man he used to be. It was said that he went so far that he was labeled as a monster as well and the name Monster Born was esrae from history. There are only a few people that recall that show, myself one of them." The Elder said before turning to you.

"And for the first time, we have a Monster-Born in our village." He said, looking even more worried.

"Elder? What's wrong?" Kela asked, making him sense.

"I'm to report to the main guild and tell them about you. And to strip you of your hunter rank." He said, shocking you.

"Why?!" Kela asked.

"The guild doesn't want another repeat. I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to go on any more hunts." The Elder said.

"That's not fair!" Kela shouted before you could speak up.

"We never heard of Monster Born until now. And you have to forbin my friend from hunting because of what they are? That's not fair!" She shouted.

The Elder looked away. You looked ready to say something before spotting a Thunderbug flying around you. Both Kela and the Elder saw it as well.

"A Thunderbug?" He asked.

You raise your hand and saw it land on your palm. It sat there, looking to be doing its normal thing.

"Wow, it's like that Thunderbug thinks you're a Zinogre or something," Kela said.

The Elder watched before one of the guards walked in.

"Elder! We have a problem!" He said.

A bit later,

You follow the Elder out of the gate to see a fight happening. You spot Daman trying to attack the Zinogre that brought you back. The Elder narrowed his eyes and pulled out his Great Sword.

"ENOUGH!" He shouted, slamming the sword into the ground.

The ground shook, stopping both Daman and the Zinogre from fighting. The Zinogre notices you and stands down. However, you notice it didn't drop its guard.

"Elder! This thing attacked me..." Daman started.

"Daman..." The Elder hissed.

The young man froze. Everyone knows that Elder rarely becomes angry unless the village is under attack. Or if someone went against his orders.

"I order you to leave the Zinogre alone. The guards were watching over it. There was a reason you were ranked so low!" He said, stepping up.

"But Elder, you trained us to be hunters," Daman said.

"I trained you to pick your hunts. Zinogres are to be left to a higher-ranking hunter! You're NOT a high-rank hunter!" The Elder shouted.

As that was happening, you were walking up to the Zinogre, that looked at you. You raise your hand, wondering if there was a way to help...You were surprised to see the Zinogre lead its nose on your hand.

"Monster-Born."

You heard its voice but this time, you could tell it was more of a kind and gentle voice. Something that didn't fit a Zinogre. Kela walked up and looked at you two. She wanted to try touching it but was unsure. You noticed and helped her raise her hand. The Zinogre soon placed its nose on her hand, making her smile.

"Wow, I think this is the first time I didn't get shocked." She said, due to being shocked by the Thunderbugs a few times.

"But Elder..."

"NO, you're family may be great hunters in their own right, but they were clearly smarter about their actions. Disobey my orders again and I will remove you from the Hunt Guild."

You and Kela turned to see the Elder walking up to you before sighing.

"Look, it's not that I want you to stop hunting. Monster-Born hunters are too dangerous. They could end up taking up too much power from all kinds of monsters. The Only power that the last Monster-Born didn't take was the Elder Dragons." The Elder said.

You looked at the Zinogre, thinking to yourself. What if you don't use more than one monster power? What if you just master the Zinogre power? You turn and told the Elder about your idea.

"Even if you can do that, Zinogre's are very powerful in their own right. It's too risky." He said.

However, you stood your ground as the Zinogre did the same. The Elder notices and laughs.

"Well, I've forgotten how stubborn you can be. Very well, but you must use it only if you must. We also need to make sure no one else tries to harm the Zinogre. The last thing we need is the Zinogre to destroy our village because someone can't follow my orders." He said, looking at Daman.

The young hunter groans, not believing the Elder would let that monster live. He flinched when he saw the Zinogre close to him, growling.

Kela giggles as you step up and pat its front leg. You didn't want to be like that last Monster-Born and wanted to make sure you're not going to become a power-hungry person. You will do your best to control the Zinogre's power and use it to help others, just like you dreamed.

And stopping here. So you have awaken and learn a bit about the last Monster-Born. Daman tried to attack the Zinogre, but the Elder stopped him. You also learn that this Zinogre is somewhat different from most others. Now, you want to learn how to use your new power and make sure you never turn into the last Monster-Born.

And I'm done asking for feedback. Write a Danny Phantom story, lots of people. Write a Non-Danny Phantom, barely any people. It's gotten to a point that I was thinking about quitting making Danny Phantom stories until my Non-Danny Phantom stories were more likable. I'm not going to do that, but I'm going to be disappointed every time I write a non-Danny Phantom Story.

For the next chapter, it's time to cover what you, the hunter, can do as the Human Zinogre. And if you're wondering about a name to use, I have nothing at the moment.
