"What are you thinking?" Luna asks, glaring at her sister as they sat in the brig of the Demon.
"Can't you see? I love him!" Daphne replies as she tries to comb her battered hair.
Their argument was broken by a crew member on the Demon, "You are to dine with the captain, he will decide ye fate, savvy?" he says to Daphne, then turns to Luna, "You, are to walk the plank."
Luna shrugs, allowing the man to drag her onto the deck of the ship.
"Walk the plank! Walk the plank!"
The chant of the crew was so loud, that it could even be heard below deck.
As Luna's hands and legs were tied together, Horace silences his crew.
"This is goodbye." Horace says to Luna.
Luna rolls her eyes pushing him away, then jumps off the plank without hesitation, landing in the water without even a splash.
There was a flash of emerald green, then nothing at all.
Thinking that Luna Estrada was dead, Horace Vaugn turned the ship around and set sail for Serene Village.
As the ship sailed farther and farther, Luna Estrada broke the surface, gasping for air, her bonds cut by the power in her magical bracelet named Nirvana.
The Horizon quickly pulled up beside her, letting her climb on board.
"Thanks," Luna gasps, pulling herself onto the deck of the ship.
"That looked intense." Allen Jenkins laughs, reaching out a hand to pull her up.
"It was," Luna replies, grinning.
"Aren't you worried about Daphne?" Fiona Knight asks, hoisting the sails.
"T'was her choice," Luna replies, "Tell the other ships to follow, we're heading for Serene Village, we must outrun the Demon."
"Aye, captain!" Allen grins, signalling the other ships to follow.
The Horizon cut through the waves of the ocean at an incredible speed, spraying the crew with droplets of water as it glided across the water.
Soon, the sun disappeared behind the mountains and the moon rose, escorted by the shining stars.
Though it was midnight, light still remained.
And where light remains, there is always hope.
