The Horizon docked near Serene Village.

"Where are you planning to look?" Allen Jenkins asked, staring at the huge town infront of them.

"I have a friend here," Luna Estrada said with a sly smile, "I think she'll be able to help."

Allen's eyebrows shot up, "You aren't thinking of her are you?"

"I am." Luna replied, starting into the village.

Allen ran to catch up with her, "But what if she refuses? She's a very complicated person, you know?"

Luna Estrada nodded, "Of course I know, but something tells me that she's willing to help."

It took but a few minutes to reach the 'her' home.

Luna gently tapped on the door three times.

There was a moment of silence before the door creacked open.

A girl with waist length ebony hair and dark brown eyes, she wears a black gown and corset with silver jewelery embedded with rubies and a black hair band with blood red roses on it opened the door and stared at Luna and Allen.

"What in the world are you doing here?" she asked.

"Hello to you too, Morana Karenina." Luna sighed, greeting the girl.

"Rita, we've got visitors." Morana called into the room.

A girl with wavy black hair and brown eyes, she usually wears a white robe with a silver belt walked into the room.

"Who's she?" Allen Jenkins asked, clearly confused.

"She's Pearl Karenina, Morana's younger sister." Luna explained as she entered the house.

Pearl raised an eyebrown at them, but still motioned for them to sit down.

"So," Morana began, taking a bite out of an apple, "What are you doing here?"

"We seek the Jewel of Shadows." Luna said, straightforwardly.

Morana's eyes widened in shock, causing her to choke on the apple.

After a few moments of coughing, Morana finally found her voice, "I know where it is, if that's what you want, but I'm pretty sure you came for more than that."

Luna Estrada nodded, "I've come to ask about how to activate it."

Morana hesitated for a moment before standing up and having a hushed conversation with Pearl.

After a few death glares and a few uncertain glances, Morana brought out a crystal case.

A black jewel sat on the pedistal, glowing faintly, giving off an eerie purple aura.

"This is the jewel," Morana announced, "To activate it, you must travel to the land of the dead, the real of Marzanna."

Luna shrugged, "Fair enough, give us the jewel and we'll be out of here."

Morana shook her head, "Haven't you heard the prophecy?"

Luna cocked her head, "What prophecy?"

"The day Enigma is touched by the angel's daughter,

'Tis the day the angel awakens,

Laying waste to the land named Lorrel,

Where all three worlds are closest.

The moment Lorrel is destroyed,

Is the moment that the world shall end forever." Pearl recited causiously.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Allen asked.

"It means that no one should touch the jewel." Pearl explained.

"Then let us have the jewel, we won't touch it." Luna promised.

Morana hesitated, but still handed Luna the case.

"May you not regret it when the day comes." Morana whispered.
