Danny and Luna sat in the office with his family. After they got home, his parents were called by the Human-Monster office. The office was made to ensure both humans and Monsters lived peacefully and followed the laws. Both of them had no idea why they were here. It wasn't long before the whole family was called in.

"Hello, Danny, Hello, Luna."

Everyone saw a beautiful Fawn sitting at a desk with a man behind her.

"Is there something wrong?" Danny asked.

"Oh, no. We have been aware of how close you two have become. And we like to ask your help with something." The Fawn said.

"With what?" Luna asked.

"First off, Most of us have agreed with the state of the laws. However, we do not agree with the limits placed on them. We would like to change that." The Man said.

"Change it?" Danny asked.

"Yes. We heard how you stood up for Luna when another tried to get you in trouble. Each time a Monster is signed to a human, we keep watch over them from afar. So, we are aware that Mr. Baxter is trying to get your monster taken away because he fails to understand that it's not his choice." The Fawn said, pulling out Dash's file.

"We let him take a Monster to show that he can't get what he wants. We ask Dina to keep an eye on him for us and report anything he might try to do." The Man said.

"And don't worry for Tucker Foley. Since he has no monster, his actions are not being reported. But if he doesn't stop soon, he and his family will be forced to move into a non-monster town for the rest of his life." The Fawn told Danny.

"So, if we're not in trouble, what kind of help do you need?" Luna asked.

The Fawn looks over to the man and nods. They both held out their hands and everyone saw the wedding ring on them.

"You're...married?" Jack asked, shocked.

"Yes, not many people know it, but we married in secret." The Man said.

"It might be against the law, but lots of humans and monsters hate that one. None in the Monster Government agreed to it. It was the humans that set that law without clearing it up with the Monsters first." The Fawn said.

"We want to change that law and we like you two to help us." The Man said.

"How?" Danny asked.

"We would like to give you both full permission to date each other." The Fawn said.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted.

"D-D-D-Date?!" Luna said, blushing.

"But you just said that was against the law!" Maddie said.

"The Human Law, not the Monster Law." The Fawn corrected her.

"Limiting Monsters is not a sign of trust. While it's true that most monsters are stronger than humans, they have already made sure that no dangerous monsters can come. Stating that monsters can't attack humans without self-defense is forcing many monsters to turn their backs on the agreement. If this keeps happening, then a war is likely to break out. And that's the last thing the government on both sides want." The Man said.

"So, we decide to help both Monsters and Humans by giving them permission to date and even marry at coming age. However, we would like to ask your parent's permission before doing so." The Fawn said.

Both Jack and Maddie looked at each other. After everything they heard, they were a bit unsure, but they did see how close Luna was to their son. Besides, the only thing that they did was sleep in the same bed because Luna couldn't warm herself up without heat.

"Well, this all so much to know," Maddie said.

"Are you sure that they won't get in trouble?" Jack asked.

"No, while the government might try and force them to never go that far, the monster government has a counter to that. Any human that loves a monster is protected by their species law. Meaning, your son is free to date Luna if he wishes and is protected by her people." The Fawn said, noticing the Lamia flinch.

"We would also like to speak to them both alone. We would like to speak to Luna first." The man said.

"Just give what we said some thought, please." The Fawn said, having the Fenton family leave.

Once alone, Luna looked very worried. The Fawn smiles and pats her hand.

"It's okay, dear. You can say it, we know about your people eating humans." She said.

"Y-You do?!" Luna asked, shocked.

"We are also aware that your mother refused to inform us that you were going into heat before she sent you to the Fentons. And we're aware that you have fallen for the boy." The Man said.

"I..." Luna tried to say.

"Luna, by making him your mate, he can not be harmed or eaten by your people. Even if your mother knew, she can't stop it. We also knew that was trying to send your sister too, but you are far different from her." The Fawn said.

"Are you sure he'll be safe?" Luna asked.

"Yes, but you should tell him about your heat. Lots of monsters try to fight it only to give in as it grows out of control. Trust me, I should know." The Fawn said, blushing.

"The point being, the longer you wait, the more damage you'll do to yourself and the boy. We will not stop you if you wish to mate with him. We'll even move you two to a different area so you won't get in trouble." The Man said.

Luna looks down, did they really mean this? Will they really help her if she tells him?

"We won't tell him. That is up to you. But remember the longer you wait, the more dangerous it will become. And not even we can't keep the others from acting." The Fawn said.

"How soon?" Luna asked.

"Soon." The Man answered.

Luna looks down, scared that she would tell Danny and his parents would not approve of it.

"Remember, we are giving you and Danny permission to date. It's up to you to tell him about your heat." The Fawn said.

Luna nodded, understanding what they were saying. With that, she was dismissed and asked to send Danny inside.

Danny sat in the chair, telling him a bit about why they were letting him and Luna date without getting in trouble.

"So, you disagree with some of the laws?" Danny asked, surprised.

"We do. "Humans and Monsters should not get married," That's not a law." The Fawn said, shaking her head.

"We married because we got to know each other. We were also named the head of Monster and Human Rights because we're the first human and monster to be paired." The Man said.

"So, you're trying to overcome that law?" Danny asked.

"While it's true that some monsters might not love humans like Luna, it's clear that some of you haven't let go of the past." The Fawn said.

Danny had a different reason. Since fighting ghosts, he learned that ghosts were still people with their own feelings. It's how he treats Luna, after all.

"And we do know bout your secret, Mr. Fenton." The Man said.

"Secret?" Danny asked, confused.

"Yes, Danny Phantom." The Fawn said.

"I...don't know...what you're...talking about?" Danny said, weakly.

"Son, we understand that you're afraid of what would happen if someone found out. The town might have missed it, but we didn't. So don't bother trying to lie." The Man said, making Danny sigh.

"How long?" He asked.

"Since your first fight with the giant meat monster." The Fawn said.

Danny was shocked. They knew for that long?

"Then why...?" He started.

"Unlike your parents, we look into the ghosts that appear in the town. We know that you use your powers for good and we have declared you as a "safe"." The Man said.

"And we also understand that you haven't told your parents about your powers because of their beliefs about ghosts. Some of those laws were placed because of them." The Fawn said.

"We won't tell anyone, but you should prepare to tell Miss Luna." The Man said.

"I..." Danny tried to say.

"Danny, the ghosts may have stopped appearing a whole lot, but they will come back. You will be forced to move away from Luna, hurting her far more than the ghost attacking. Yes, she sees you are her people's GOD, but she should get to know the real you." The Fawn said.

Danny looks away. It was one of the problems he had should he date someone. He was luckily with Valerie and only dated Paulina because of Kitty. He would hurt Luna more if he kept his powers a secret from her?

"Remember, son. It's up to you to tell her, but please be ready to tell her sooner, rather than later." The Man said.

Danny was unsure, but he did like Luna. Should he tell her about his powers?

After Danny left, the married pair sighed.

"Step one, let the two date. Done." The Man said.

"Step two, ensure they won't get in trouble. Done." The Fawn said.

"Step three, make sure that Luna's family don't eat him. Done." The Man added.

"Step four, making the law change. Still in progress." The Fawn said before turning to her human husband.

"I can't believe your brother would do this. He knows that both sides must agree to it in order to pass." She said.

"I'm trying to talk him down about that, however, the idiot refuses to listen. Saying he passed that law because we got married." The man said, shaking his head.

"I'm a Fawn! Do I look like I want to hurt you or anyone else?" The Fawn asked.

"I'm still going to talk to him, and whether he likes it or not, he can't force that law on people. That's why most people marry monsters in their culture." The Man said.

They both sighed and shook their heads. They may have to ensure that the peace between humans and monsters lasts, but forcing a law that NO ONE agreed to, shows that some people won't let go of the past. They could only hope that Danny and Luna could show that idiot the error of his ways.

And stopping here. So, Danny and Luna were given full permission to date, and the heads of the Human and Monster office made sure they wouldn't get in trouble. They also knew both Danny's and Luna's secrets, letting them tell each other on their own. However, they were warned that they shouldn't wait for too long since it could end up hurting both of them.

And look at that. The law of humans and monsters should not be married was all the work of one person disliking the idea because his brother married a monster. This might not be covered a lot. I'm focusing on Danny and Luna, so there's a chance I'll forget all this later.

So, what's next? Not sure yet. It's too soon for Danny and Luna to start dating, and I'm not ready to bring in Luna's mother and sister. I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas? And they're not going to tell each other of their secrets yet. I'm saving that for a bit later.
