Chapter 18
At the domain.
Suguru was on hand to wave goodbye to Mochi as she left for a girl's weekend. "You sure about this?" Nobara asked of him.
"Yeah, something's up…" muttered Maki.
"Uh… not my idea…" he said and pointed behind them.
The two turned and saw lady Tiamat with all of her daughters with the exception of Rhea due to brooding. Shoko was soon to join them, but when she saw Lady Tiamat she was quick to put out her smoke. "So, where are we going?" she asked.
"Oh, just a little place I know of. Are you ladies ready?" She asked.
They nodded, Mochi shied away once more but nodded. "We will be back Sunday afternoon," Lady Tiamat explained.
"You have fun!" he decreed and the girls vanished.
"Wow, she's a dragon goddess and I still can't get over that…" Rook said offhandedly. "So, what are WE going to be doing?"
Suguru shrugged. "What do you want to do? Apparently I have to involve Kiyoshi and the Fushiguros too."
"Yeah you do!" Toji called out as he brought his boys with him, even Megumi came along, however…
"Don't… remind me," Megumi said in a seething tone.
His dragon tail was lingering, swaying from side to side.
"I still think that's cool" Rook said with great admiration. "Can you grab stuff with it?"
"Tsk…"
"Best not ask too many questions…" Shin muttered.
Rook luckily is not like his father and doesn't pester someone until he gets an answer. Judging by Megumi's face, he appeared to be relieved that was the case as well.
"So, guys weekend, anything you want to do?" Suguru asked.
"Shibuya?" asked Rook.
This, made Toji and Suguru freeze. "Shibuya? Why on earth would you want to go there!?" Toji demanded.
"Oji and I went all the time, he said it helps him blow off some steam, he took me there for training quite often." He explained rather bluntly.
"Uh… he… took me there too…" Shin said in a muttered tone.
Suguru couldn't… no… that's a lie… it's Sukuna after all. He believed he would take children there. It would still be considered a playground for him despite his lack of curse energy.
"That does sound like fun, we can beat the shit out of curses!" said Daku.
"Also we can help Suguru get stronger ones too!" chimed Hoshi.
"It's not a place to play!" scolded Megumi. "Shibuya… killed a lot of people, some friends… and…" his voice trailed off.
Shin paused as he turned to Suguru for an answer, but he shook his head to it. He won't say anything before Megumi. If he can't bring himself to speak then no one should speak for him in this incident.
"Damn, I wanted to go and get my skills up. No offence to humans with no heavenly restrictions, they just aren't too good at fighting!" Rook stated.
Suguru began to consider it, he looked to Megumi and the others before sighing. "Okay then," he decreed. "Let's go to Shibuya."
"Are you insane!? Wait… never mind you're a sorcerer…" Toji stated.
Suguru leaned in and whispered. "I think Megumi needs to blow off some steam, in Shibuya, he can let loose without hurting anyone or damaging what's around him"
Toji had a look of realization, he turned to his eldest son and sighed. "Okay, let's do this then."
"What?!" Megumi demanded.
"Really!?" Rook asked with excitement.
"I think we need to let loose, there we can do so without hurting anyone. We just need to be made aware as to where everyone is… mainly for myself, Rook and Shin. The rest of you need to make sure we are not in your pathway of destruction." Suguru explained.
Megumi didn't want to, but he agreed anyways.
"Let's go kill some stuff!" Rook cheered.
"With what?" Toji demanded. But he smiled as he reached into his back pocket and tossed something towards Rook. When he peered into his hands, his eyes widened like a child on Christmas. "I made those myself."
Suguru looked and found Rook had some sort of leather gloves on his hands now. There were spikes on the knuckle and a hidden metal within the palm. "Whoa…" Rook whispered with excitement.
"How is that going to work?" Suguru asked Toji.
He gave a wicked grin. "Did you not see what the gloves is made of?" he asked. "That there… is from those dragon bastards that tried to hunt Yuuji and Suiryu when they were tending to Kiyoshi. Speaking of that kid, Kiyoshi…"
"I asked, Yuuji refused." Rook said, Suguru knew he vanished for a moment… he didn't realize how fast Rook was! "Kiyoshi even passed on the notion too, he was brought there once by his uncle, he refused to go back again."
"Whatever, anyways. Those gloves are made of dragon leather, the spikes on the knuckle, that's a fang I managed to carve down and into pieces!" Toji said rather proudly. "Well, let's get going then, we can leave for snacks and rest when we need to." Toji called.
Suguru agreed. He doesn't know why but… he hasn't even gone back to Shibuya since Kenjaku had his body.

"Yeah, it's still a pit here…" Rook said.
They had passed a barrier, one the only thing the council does right and thoroughly as of late. Perhaps it is the only thing they can do right under the government's watchful eye. Either way, Suguru could care less.
The city though… it was like hell on earth.
Curses were everywhere, and there were some special grade curses starting to form.
In his darker days, he would have killed for this, so many curses to be tamed and used. But now… he has become rather picky as to what he tames. He has been considering their abilities, what he has, what he doesn't have. Suguru has become more methodical in his talent.
"Looks like some good prey!" Toji said with a grin on his lips. "So, who wants to…"
Suddenly, it surged!
Lightning was coming off of Shin!
"Stand back he's gonna rip one!" Rook called.
Shin summoned his technique, Suguru saw it for the first time and was amazed. It's nothing like Satoru's technique, and yet…
When the energy condensed down to the tip of his fingers. Shin launched it like an arrow.
They heard it whistle down a street full of curses.
"I do admit I was expecting a little more…" Toji said with disappointment.
"Wait for it…" Rook said and smiled. He counted down from three on his fingers. When he hit one, Shin snapped his fingers.
Suguru was in aw as a brilliant purple lightning filled the streets! It destroyed every curse within that region before it petered out.
When it settled, Toji was silent.
"Well… that shut me up," he said. "Nice kid, that's stronger than your old man's!"
"I got to admit, it is," Suguru said with great admiration.
"Okay, enough talk, Shin, that counts as one!" stated Rook. "I'm not going to lose to you!"
"So it's a contest?" Suguru asked.
"Yeah, most kills win!" said Hoshi.
"I get the North end!" Rook called.
"I'll go with, but I'll refrain from the contest. I am not killing mine…" Suguru announced.
"We will find good special grades for you to take, Uncle!" said Daku.
"UNCLE?!" he protested.
"Yeah, as long as we call your dad, uncle, fair?" Shin questioned.
"I shouldn't have come here…" Megumi muttered.
Suguru felt for this kid, he sighed aloud and offered to take him along. "Wanna come with me then? Or would you rather stay with your old man?"
He peered between the two, with a sigh. Megumi went with his father. "I'll go with Rook then…" Suguru turned and found Rook was gone. "What the…"
"He got a running head start on you" snickered Toji.
