Sammie had spent the last two months sending letters back and forth with Happy, letting him know what was happening with her and her baby. Hell, she was even getting to know Happy a little thanks to his letters back. Sammie was getting to go and find out what she was having in a few days and couldn't wait to fill Happy in, Happy seems like he wants to know. Her biggest problem was that Sammie couldn't wrap her head around what Happy was saying to her. She thought about asking Gemma to help but noticed she wasn't around the garage much. Kozik has asked Sammie to open the garage. She gladly opened the garage every morning, anything to help the people who were helping her.
Sammie slowly started to see that she was stronger than she thought and even decided to learn to defend herself as soon as the baby was born that is for now Sammie was saving almost every dollar made knowing the clubhouse wasn't the place to raise her baby. She was waiting for the right time to talk it over with Kozik, but she needed to find a place close to live for the two of them. She knew she didn't have a car or the extra money for one, so she would have to walk to work. She just hoped that she could bring her child to work with her when the time came.

"Shit," Kozik yelled as he watched Sammie walk off the lot with a shake of his head he looked at Tig and asked, "How the hell am I going to keep an eye on her if she keeps just walking off?"
"You are not," Tig answered quickly adding, "He was stupid for asking you to." "No, Asshole, Happy knows who his friends are," Kozik answered, not wanting to deal with Tig anymore and knowing he needed to find Sammie Kozik took off for his bike. Sammie had only made it a block before Kozik pulled up on his motorcycle. Kozik didn't even look at Sammie before he asked. "Where are you going?"
"I was hungry." Sammie had the decency to look away before adding. "I was just going down to the diner." "Let's go," Kozik said patting his back seat, "Still not getting on that thing," Sammie replied as she started to walk again. Kozik watched Sammy about halfway to the diner before he took off to park his bike. Knowing he would walk back for her. Once he reached Sammie, he said, "Kid, you may just end up being the death of me." Not knowing what to say or understanding how she asked. "How will I be the death of you?" "Sammie, Doll, I need to know what you are doing if I'm going to look after you and keep you safe," Kozik answered not, wanting her to ask adding. "Hap asked, Me to take care of you. Nodding her head Sammy stated. "Happy does not ask for help. So when he did it became important, that you look after me when he can not." As they made it to the diner, Sammie added, "I am sorry, I don't want to make things harder for anyone."

" Yeah," Kozik answered quickly. He decided to add, "We all want to keep you safe not only cause he asked but because you are now a friend." They sat at a booth in the back and ate without any more conversation. Kozik paid their check before asking, What are you planning on doing?" "Well I am planning on going back to the clubhouse to clean up some of the bar just cause I'm staying there and hope to have a quiet night," Sammy replied without breaking eye contact. When Kozik didn't say anything she decided to ask. "With me having a baby I'm going to need to find a place to live soon." When Kozik raised an eyebrow at her she quickly continued with. "Not that I mind being at the clubhouse, but it isn't the place for a baby.

Kozik not knowing how to reply to Sammy said. "I think that is something to talk to Hap about." Sammie nodded her head in response before asking, "Do you think he will be mad I want to find a place?" "Nope," Kozik quickly answered as he stood from the booth and asked, "Are you ready?" "Yeah let's head back," Sammie answered, but before Kozik could take two steps, she added. "I'm still not getting on that thing." "Not for me, I know, but someday you will be on a bike," he replied, smirking at her. Already knowing Happy would be the only one to get her on a bike, she would even fight him, with a slight chuckle to himself at that thought Kozik opened the door to the diner and said. "I'll stay here till you are halfway back watching you."

"Eye eye captain," Sammy said as she studied him making him laugh. Sammy took off walking knowing he wouldn't move till she was halfway back unless he thought she was in danger. As Sammy walked she couldn't stop herself from thinking about the talk she needed to have with Happy. The more she thought about everything the more she needed answers only he could give her. Her only huge worry was that she couldn't ask him the big questions like what was all this and why was he doing it all? She refused to go to the prison and put him in even more danger from her brother. She also didn't want to be too comfortable only to have him tell her to kick rocks she knew he had told her he had her but for how long and at what price? She decided she would just have to write to him and ask what she needed to know before she would listen to Kozki about what he would want. Sammy stopped at the halfway point just to look back at Kozki who was just pulling out of the dinner parking lot. She decided she wasn't going to wait for him and continued walking back to the lot. As soon as she was back on the lot Sammy took off to her dorm room she had to at least try and get some answers.

Hap,

I know you keep saying you have me, but what does that mean? Yes, you have all your friends watching out for me but for how long?
Should I look for a place for just me and my child? Or are you going to want to stay there too? Should I stay in Charming? Or do you want me to kick rocks once you come home?
Why are you doing all this? What do you want from me?
I am sorry to be writing and asking a bunch of questions but I need to know the answers to them. Your clubhouse isn't a place to bring a baby home to so I need to find a place to live.
I also don't want to assume that you are going to want us here. With all that being said, I want to thank you for getting me out from under my brother and his friends and making sure we are safe.

Thank you for all that you do and please answer my questions. Izzy

Izzy took a second look at her short letter to Happy smiling cause she knew deep down he would either call or sit down and give her a few answers. Before addressing the envelope Izzy sprayed the paper so it would smell girly when he got it hoping he would at least like the body spray she found. Quickly stuffing the note in the envelope and licking to seal the letter inside Izzy jumped up wishing to get it out today she headed for the garage to put it with the outgoing mail.
