As they emerged from the frozen caves, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner and Thor shivered, their teeth chattering uncontrollably. Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye rushed towards them, wrapping them up in thick blankets to keep them warm.
"What happened?" Steve asked, concern etched on his face.
"We were investigating strange readings when this monster appeared out of nowhere and trapped us in these ice cages," Bruce explained, still visibly shaken. "It was going to freeze us to death."
"Well, we took care of it," Hawkeye said with a grin. "No ice monster is going to mess with the Avengers."
"Thank you," Thor said, his voice deep and grateful. "I do not know what would have happened without your help."
"It's what we do," Natasha replied, giving them a small smile. "We look out for each other."
Tony, who had been quiet up until now, suddenly spoke up. "I don't know about you guys, but I could use a hot bath and some hot chocolate."
"I second that," Bruce added, nodding his head.
"Agreed," Thor said, a small smile on his face. "Let us go back to the Avengers Tower and warm up."
With that, they all made their way back to the Tower, grateful for each other's company and protection.
