It is a peaceful morning on the planet Eris. The sun is shining and there is hardly a cloud in the sky.

Inside the Castle of Lions the newly dubbed paladins and their companions were mostly sleeping. That is until an alarm starts blaring and Allura's voice speaks out over the intercom yelling, "Zarkon's attacking!"

This caused all of the occupants spread throughout the castle to wake up with a start. Neville, being the most easily startled of the group, jumped at the sudden blaring and fell out of his bunk. Urgently trying to get out the door while still in his pajamas, though he did remember to grab his wand.

Cedric was already up and dressed in the paladin uniform. Just starting a light workout when the alarm went off. This lead to him hurriedly standing up, grabbing his wand and bayard, and running out the door.

Harry was also up at this time, but he was getting into regular workout clothes when the alarm blared, examining his knife. When the alarm blared, he grabbed his wand and cast a spell that quickly swapped his current outfit for his paladin one. Then like Cedric, he rushed to the door and made his way to the bridge.

Hermione, unlike the others who were in their rooms, was asleep on her laptop in the cryo-chamber room that the humans had first found Allura and Coran. She fell asleep while trying to learn more about the universe at large, even if the information is ten millennia out of date, and waiting on the rescued prisoners to wake up. She was in such a rush from the alarm that she only managed to hit herself with some standard morning routine spells to freshen up.

Draco woke up with a start and fell out of bed much like Neville did. However, unlike the larger boy, he did not rush out of his room. He stood, got dressed in his uniform quickly, but not in a rushed manor, and grumpily marched back up toward the bridge.

The two elder humans, who have rooms directly next to one another, rushed out of their rooms into the hallway. Remus was half dressed and only had a single shoe on and Sirius, who had fallen back to his training as an Auror, was fully dressed. However, as they were in such a rush the two ended up running into one another, neither quite sure on how to get to the bridge. They quickly jumped back up started yelling at one another.

Inside the Galra Central Command Hub, or just the Hub, Emporer Zarkon is sitting on his throne. Infront of him kneeled one of his captain's that he had sent out on a mission. This captain was there to give a report on said mission.

"You have returned early. Did you complete your mission?" Zarkon asked/commanded in a calm firm voice.

The captain responded in a slightly nervous voice. "Sir, the moon's crust had become unstable. Staying any longer would have cost half my crew."

"Hmm, perhaps. But the half that survived would have been stronger." Zarkon said before continuing as the captain looked up. "Weakness is an infection. Better to cut it off than let it spread." He finished ominously.

Suddenly two drone guards that were standing behind the captain grabbed the captain by his arms. Dragging him away as a look of fear covered the captain's face. As the captain was being taken away Zarkon became aware of Hagar standing next to him.

"What have you and your druids come up with to capture Voltron?" Zarkon asked/demanded of his closest and most loyal servant.

"I have been working on perfecting something. Something that will strike fear into any that look upon it. Voltron may have surprised Sendak, but it will not be able to overcome my creation." Hagar stated firmly.

On the bridge Allura and Coran are standing in front of the primary control station for the castle. Allura is speaking into a handheld, block shaped device that she is using to relay the alarm throughout the castle. Until Coran, who is unsatisfied with how she is acting, snatches it from her and begins to spout out a half-baked scenario in an overly dramatic tone. That is until Allura says, "Coran…Coran! Its over," in a subdued tone when she saw who had entered the room.

Standing at the entrance of the bridge were most of the gathered paladins and the two adult companions.

"Let me guess, we are not actually under attack. You just decided to run a security drill out of the blue." Cedric said in an annoyed tone.

"Yes. We needed to run a test on the alarms and decided to test you as well." Allura said in response while speaking in a very serious tone of voice. The response itself was obviously building up to a rant, but before she could really get into it, she was interrupted.

"I may not know a lot about setting up a test, but what I do know is that you don't start testing someone until they are, at least, shown the basics." Harry cut in.

"Yeah, the pup has the rite of it. Even Moody didn't start with his insane test until he at least showed what the basics were." Sirius spoke out in support of his godson.

Before Allura could say anything in response, Draco came drudging in through the door. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON UP HERE!?" Draco yelled out in obvious annoyance.

Everyone, however, just looked at him and decided to ignore him and turned back towards the princess, who had adopted a more understanding and supportive expression, which in turn caused him to face vault in disbelief. "I know, but you must understand." Suddenly the holographic star chart that was used to locate the lions popped up. "These are all of the distress signals that the castle has recorded over the past ten thousand years." Allura said while gesturing to red warning signs popping up all over the map. "We can assume that the Galra have already conquered all of these planets. Only the most outer lying of these signals may still be resisting. We must stop the Galra advancement as soon as possible."

"We understand Allura, but we have only known that there was life beyond our planet for the last three days. One of which we were helping you from dawn to dusk in trying to get the castle back up and running. So could you please cut us a little slack on this matter. I mean," Hermione continued, "other than Sirius none of us have had any sort of military or law enforcement training."

"Didn't you say yesterday that you and your friends were part of a resistance group on your planet?" Coran asked confused.

"Not really a resistance, at least not in the way you're thinking. Back on Earth, our society was being threatened by Voldemort, as you well know, but the government leaders didn't want to acknowledge he had returned. They began to undermine our schooling in a blatant attempt to both brainwash us into being mindless drones and cut out any possible rebellion to the governing body. We started an underground training circuit to learn and train, but Draco doesn't really have that even. Cedric, at least, had some training as an Auror before he got booted out." Hermione explained to the two Altean's.

"Why didn't you take part in the training Draco?" Asked Allura in some mild confusion.

"The house that I was in at school was filled with Voldemort's supporters, or at least their children. As such, I was forced to be the JPA, the name for the training group, spy for most of the past year and due to who my father is, no one expected me. For that reason, I was rarely participating in any of the training." Draco explained with a shrug of his shoulders.

"In any case, we should get to training. Hermione and Neville, go to your rooms and get changed. We need to see how well you five are able to fly your lions when not in combat and on how to form Voltron." Allura said.

This earned a nod in response from the two. They then turned around and began to make their way back to their rooms, but before Hermione stepped all the way out she stopped and turned back to Allura.

"One more thing though. When will the rescued prisoners be healed? I have some questions for them." Hermione asked.

"It will be a few more hours Number Five." Coran said before noticing the confused glances of everyone else. "I've given you all code names based on your height," he explained.

With that said, Hermione turned back around and ran down the hall. Less than ten minutes later, both Hermione and Neville were back in the control room. Then the paladins went to their respective access points to their lions, Cedric's being in the center of the room while the others are in corners.

The scene changes so that the five paladins step out of their lifts and jump forward to grab an awaiting zip line. Four of the lines traveled down their respective shoots to drop the paladins off in hover sleds that matched their respective lions. The sleds then took the paladins down a short path to the lion's hangers.

Neville's line on the other hand did not work as intended. Halfway down the shoot it stopped, which forced Neville to let go and slide the rest of the way to the bottom by his feet. However, when he finally made it to the bottom the hover sled went ahead of him. This forced the largest of the paladins to run all the way to his lion.

A minute later four of the lions are flying out of the castle and landing on the lawn in front.

"Hey! Has anyone seen Neville?" Harry asked over the coms.

A moment later, said person lands next to them in the yellow lion. "Sorry about that guys. My line got stuck halfway down the shoot and that cart thing went off without me. I had to run from the shoot exit all the way to the lion." Neville said over the coms.

"That's alright Neville. Me and Coran will look into that later. Now, begin focusing on forming Voltron." Allura said, also over the coms.

"Ok, that's fine and all, but how? We could use a bit of advice." Draco complained to everyone.

"Remember Draco, the lions are essentially giant foci. We may not know how, or may not even be able to, use our spells with them but the principle is the same. Recall Professor McGonigal's lessons on transfiguration. Focus on the end result and will it to happen, and that goes for everyone." Cedric called out to the others.

Following Cedric's advice, the entire team concentrates and will's the formation of Voltron. This causes the lions to react to the mental commands of their pilots and so, the lions tap into their pilot's subconscious. Guiding them in the correct means of forming the mighty defender.

The lions then flew off of the ground and into the sky. Following the same formation as when they were fighting the Galra ship, they came together to form the small skyscraper sized being.

Coran and Allura look upon the accomplishment with utterly shocked faces. In fact, Coran's mouth was hanging to the point it was practically hitting the ground. Remus and Sirius on the other hand look upon the scene with nothing but pride.

"How did they accomplish this so quickly? It takes a firm foundation of trust between the paladins to form Voltron. The original paladins fought next to one another for years before becoming paladins, and didn't you lot say that Cedric and Draco have little prior experience to working as a team?" Allura asked the two remaining humans, still shocked by what she saw.

"Cedric is trained as an Auror and had his life saved by Harry last year. So, him being trusting and knowing how to work as a team isn't that surprising if you think about it." Remus explained.

"As for Draco, that is a bit more complicated. We told you before that Draco was raised by a blood purist father, right?" Sirius asked and got nods from the two aliens. "Well, in his early years he acted just as pompous and arrogant as one might expect from a rich blood purist, but after Voldemort's return, things began to change. He saw his father, who he was raised to see as the pinnacle of power and to act as such, cower in fear of another. He came to realize how much of a hypocrite his father was and how wrong the pure blood rhetoric was when he began to compare Harry's and Hermione's accomplishments to his own. During the past school year Draco approached Harry and revealed that there was a traitor among his friends. After confirming what Draco said was true, Harry convinced Draco to be their spy in school. Giving him and the others of the JPA information and receiving some information and training as well. All of that turned the arrogant little shit that was my young second cousin into the man that is trusted by his comrades."

"That actually gives quite a bit of clarity to the situation." Allura said with a contemplative look.

Remus then turned back to Coran and asked. "How are the repairs coming along Coran?"

Taking a minute to get himself back together, Coran turned towards the console he was standing in front of to see what needs to be done. "Hm, we still need to run some maintenance on the power conduits, do some repairs on the primary engines, clean the primary energy relays, run some diagnostics on the teladove, and test the castle's defenses. Maybe, we can go ahead and test the defenses and give the paladins a chance to test their flight capabilities individually."

"That would be a good idea. While Harry, Cedric, and Draco are decent enough fliers by our means they are still not used to the lions. While Hermione and Neville are just bloody awful, they need as much practice as possible. Just give them a heads up and not surprise them with it like you two did this morning." Sirius commented on Coran's idea.

"By the way, does the castle have a secure room of some kind. One that can lock up a savage animal." Remus asked in a slightly nervous tone.

"Ye-es, we do. May we ask why you are asking?" Allura asked in reserved voice while looking at the physically older individual.

Before the increasingly nervous Remus could explain, Sirius came up and did it for him. "My rugged friend here has a magical condition called lycanthropy. Basically, it means that on a full moon he is forced to turn into feral, bloodthirsty, human-animal hybrid creature, otherwise known as a werewolf. Remus here is nervous because back home there are dozens of laws and policies that inhibit his rites. Not to mention the bigots who look down on him for something he has no control over."

"That is dreadful! How can anyone blame him for something like this? Isn't there a cure or some kind of treatment?" Allura asked in revulsion, and Coran wasn't far off if his expression was anything to go by.

"There is no cure, and the only treatment is difficult to make. Not to mention we don't have anything that could help us get some. So, our only option is to lock me up on the full moons. Though those cryo-pods may be able to help." Remus said in response, feeling much better after hearing Allura's clear dislike on how he was treated.

"Very well, me and Coran will find a room for you to use. We can also see if any of our technology can be used to help you in some way." Allura said in a firm tone.

For the next three hours the paladins were doing various exercises in both Voltron and the lions individually. Becoming more used to the highly advanced controls and deepening the bond that they held with the lions. During which time Sirius and Remus were busy with cleaning accumulated dust from various locations and using their magic to make minor repairs to spots that were affected by the passage of time. Coran and Allura were also busy with running test on the various systems on the castle and seeing what needed a more thorough set of repairs.

Hagar is seen walking towards a cell with four of her druids standing before it. When she gets close the doors open and reveal a large figure. The figure has glowing yellow eyes, grey-brown leathery skin that is covered in scars, and is being held back by a collar connected to the wall by two chains with purple glowing links.

"I think I have an opportunity you have been waiting for." Hagar said to the figure before a smirk began to form on her face. "How would you like a chance to redeem yourself and become stronger than ever before?"

Instead of answering, the figure stepped forward and a cruel smile formed on its face.

Later in the castle's training room the paladins are gathered in front of Allura.

"Alright paladins, now that you have gained a better understanding on how to pilot your lions. Now we need to work on your skills with your bayards. From what little you have shown me about your magic it gives you some level of unpredictability, but in combat not centered around it you are all lacking. So, for the few hours the five of you are going to be put through some basic exercises to get used to using your bayards and gauntlet, in Cedric's case. As well as using them in combat." Allura said to the gathered group.

"Ok. What are these exercises?" Cedric asked for the whole group.

"For the first hour, each of you will head to a sectioned off part of the arena to practice with your weapons in their base forms. Your personal section will be marked by a copy of Voltron's sigil in your lions' respective colors." Allura explained.

"Wait, you said something about the bayards being in their base forms. What do you mean by that? I thought the form we first saw them as was their base forms." Neville asked, him catching onto that seemingly minor peace of information. The others now wondering the same thing.

Realizing what their confusion was about, Allura gave a soft smile and explained for the group. "No Neville, the forms that the bayards took when you received them was in their inactive state. Their base forms are the default weapons that the bayards became when you first picked them up. With time and practice you will be able to unlock more weapon forms from the bayards."

With that said the sigils went up around the room with a glowing line coming up to section off the respective areas. The paladins went to their respective stations and Allura left the room to enter its observation area above.

When the paladins entered their sections a training program synched with their helmets and visors. Which allowed them to see holograms that the others couldn't. In fact, beyond the confines of the line they couldn't see anything at all. Each program was unique towards the individual. Draco saw floating targets in the distance. Hermione saw what appeared to be human shaped targets in a mid -range distance from herself, but unlike Draco, hers were spread around her. Neville had what appeared to be a training dummy in front on him that looked to be made entirely of metal. Cedric had a kind of martial arts training pole in front of him. (A.N. Think of those dragon headed poles in the training room from the original Kung-Fu Panda movie. The area mantis was training at when Po and Shi-fu first walk in. Just without the spikes and ornamentation, while also being colored like the Castle of Lions.) Harry had what appeared to be a holographic drone wielding what looked like a glowing metal bokken.

The training for each of the paladins started easy enough. Harry was shown some basic stances from the drone. Cedric managed to figure out what moves he was able to comfortably do with his Galra gauntlet. The others were allowed to gain a handle of their personal weapons. Unknown to all of them, they weren't actually hitting anything. Those that actually had, or at least what appeared to be, physical targets were nothing more than invisible force fields and the sensations they were feeling were coming from their suits while they were in training mode.

As time went on, though, things became more difficult for them. Draco's targets began to move at ever increasing speeds. Hermione's were increasing in numbers and a few training dummies appearing near her that she was forced to take down with close range attacks. Neville had his singular dummy disappear and more fragile looking dummies appeared around him at various distances and numbers, while also being fired upon by stunning lasers that he was forced to either dodge or block. Cedric's training pole began to move, sometimes as a response to his own strikes and others on their own accord. Harry's training drone began to move on from simply showing Harry stances to actually sparring with him.

When the hour was up it would be safe to say that all of the paladins were tired. Each one having to exercise either their mind, body, or both during the training session. Luckily for them, instead of pushing them any further for the day, Allura allowed them to rest up before dinner.

Later that night the paladins, Alteans, and the two elder wizards are all sitting around a dining table. Allura, who is in her dress, at the head of the table with all of the paladins on her right side. The other side of the table had an open seat for Coran on Allura's immediate left, Sirius next to him, followed by Remus, and two empty seats farther down. Coran at this time is standing next to Allura, holding a tray of semi-gelatinous green food goo. Serving everyone at the table for the moment.

It was a quite affair for the time being. Though that is mostly because after having the past six meals of the same stuff the humans were sick of it and were pushing the goo around their plates.

"Coran, is there anything else to eat in this castle? I mean, I have seen failed potions Longbottom has made that were more appetizing." Draco complained allowed, him sitting closest to Allura.

"The castle hasn't been restocked in ten thousand years Malfoy. Just be happy that there is something edible at all." Harry, who was sitting between Draco and Neville, responded to Draco in an annoyed tone before gaining a contemplative look. "Though, now that I bring that up, we should probably go out tomorrow and collect some plants and roots. See which ones are edible or not and stock up on them."

"Nonsense, there is plenty of food here. There is no need to go out foraging." Coran remarked in his usual exuberance.

"That may be Coran, but we have no idea what kind of side affects eating this stuff for to long can have on our bodies. There is also the issue that despite how advanced your food preservation technology may be, there is bound to be at least some spoiling in your larder." Hermione spoke up, second person from the end on her side of the table.

"Yeah, my little cousin may have been a bit of a shit trying to get his point across, but he does have a point. This stuff may be good for you, specifically you two pointy eared people, but it stinks and looks more like something that came out of an animal's backside." Sirius remarked to the alien. Which also caused Hermione, Draco, and Neville to turn green at that thought and Remus slap a hand to his face.

It was here that a highly embarrassed Allura finally spoke up. "It may be a good idea to find some other potential food, Coran. Variety never hurt anyone."

"Hmf, fine, have it your way. I guess getting a few more ingredients couldn't hurt, but I am also going to start cooking some traditional paladin foods for you all to try." Coran shouted out.

"Anyway," Allura began after giving Coran and exasperated look, "why don't you tell us about your planet. I know you have said that you live in a hidden society and that you can use magic, but what else?"

Hermione decided to take the lead in the explanation. "First off, our planets name is Earth…"

Coran quickly cut in with a question. "Wait your planet's name is another word for dirt?" Coran asked in a confused tone after finally taking his seat.

"Unfortunately, yes, though one could also refer to it as Tera." Hermione responded in an exasperated tone before continuing. "Our planet is covered in three-fourths water and has many cultures spread across the land masses. In fact, the magical culture we are apart of is only actually exist between two relatively large islands, but there are magical societies for just about every major culture on our planet."

"Interesting, but how do you stay hidden? Surely it can't be as simple as using false fronts or some such for your buildings. Also, are you able to use your magic without your… wands, was it? I noticed that whenever you use your spells you waive them around." Allura asked.

Here Draco decided to speak up, given that his mother gave him plenty of tutelage on the matter. "To answer your questions in order, yes, it is a bit more to hiding our society than using 'false fronts.' We have illusionary magics on our buildings and societal centers that keep them out of site of those that don't have magic, and warp their perception so that they don't notice that there is anything missing. We do have some important buildings that have 'false fronts.' Though, thanks to the use of special expansion magics we can use smaller, inconsequential buildings that no one pays attention to. However, with the rate that the non-magical's technology is progressing it is only a matter of time before we are found out."

Sirius decided to speak up next, mainly because when he was younger, he researched other magical societies that he could potentially run away to. "As for our use of wands, we don't actually need to use those for magic. It's just that many of the magical societies in Europe, the continent that we are from, developed to use a focus to help guide and shape our magic. But we aren't beholden to such, we are fully capable of using magic without a foci." Here Sirius takes a pause to levitate his plate to demonstrate. "In fact, the oldest, and largest if I remember correctly, school of magic on our world doesn't use any kind of foci. In the most eastern part of the Asian continent, they tend to use jewelry or pendants as foci. So, how we use our magic is dependent on our societies not out of physiological necessity. However, there are plenty of people in our particular magical society that have become so dependent on the use of a wand that they are unable to use even the simplest spell without one."

"Spectacular!" Said Allura with a bright smile on her face as she looked at Sirius. "It is fantastic that there is at least one other race out there capable of using magic."

"Huh, is the ability to use magic really that rare in the universe?" Asked Neville.

"Sadly yes, most species who had the ability tend to lose the ability due to one reason or another. Those that don't lose it completely usually have it muted in a way that makes it singular and highly specialized in its use. In fact, the only other magic users that I can recall…" Here Allura takes a pause as a frown forms on her face. "Are the Galra, and even then, they were incredibly rare. One in every thousand was the estimate if I recall, and unlike our species it seems, there natural affinity was not necessarily hereditary."

"I guess that makes Earth extra special then, since we have several different magical species." Neville said before taking a bite of the goo in front of him and making a face.

"Wait, you're saying that your planet has multiple magical species." Coran said in a shocked tone with Allura watching with wide eyes.

Harry decides to respond to Coran's statement. "Yeah, we have many magical species on our planet. In Europe alone we have magical animals like dragons, unicorns, and phoenixes. While we also have sentient magical species in the form of goblins, dwarves, giants, mer-folk, and elves. Though the last one hasn't been seen since the dark ages with the exception of house elves like Dobby…" Before Harry could continue everyone hears a loud pop rite next to the table and quickly turn their heads to see said house elf standing there on shaky knees and panting heavily.

"DOBBY!" Harry yells as he sees his little friend before getting up, rushing over to him, kneeling down, and checking on him.

In the Galra Hub, Hagar stands on a floating platform in front of a giant mechanical being that is offline. Then, out of the floor, the figure from before floats up while inside of a pod structure with a viewport. Hagar then raises her hands to engulf the figure in a purple tinged light, putting said figure into unimaginable pain. Energy is then seen transferring from the pod, to the flatform beneath it, to the cables connected to the platform to the mechanical being. Said being then begins to awaken with lights of different shades of purple appearing across its body and its eyes, one being yellow with a sideways slit and the other purple with a vertical slit, lighting up.

After making sure that Dobby was all rite Harry picked him up, placed him in his chair and asked him in a bewildered tone. "Dobby, how are you here?"

"Dobby heard master Harry Potter sir call him. So Dobby came." Dobby said after catching his breath. Then he realized what Harry had done for him and began to tear up. "Oh, master Harry Potter sir is to kind. He gave Dobby his seat when he saw Dobby." Here Dobby began to cry in joy at how he was treated.

Coran then leans over to his side and asked, in a quiet voice, the two elder wizards. "What is this little creature, and why is he talking like that?"

Remus decides to answer for the two. "That is a house elf, one of the other magical races on Earth, and I am not exactly sure, all house elves speak in the third person as far as I know. However, due to unknown reasons they have to be magically bound to an individual or family to serve in order to sustain themselves. If they are unbound for too long, they eventually wither and die. Many a pureblood household has ended up using them as slaves instead of a mutually benefiting servant."

"That's terrible!" Allura said in disgust.

"It is, I even tried to help them. Unfortunately, a combination of wizards being to thick headed to listen, the house elves own inherent desire to serve, and the very nature of their beings prevents any true progress to their betterment. In fact, Dobby originally served Draco's father until Harry tricked him into releasing Dobby." Hermione explained in a sad tone as she stood by Harry in looking over Dobby.

After giving Dobby a moment more to recover, Harry decides to broach the question that everyone was thinking. "Dobby, can you tell us what you are doing here?"

"Master Harry Potter sir called Dobby." Dobby stated simply.

"That shouldn't be possible. House elves only answer the call of their masters. Even if the master tells them to answer to another, they only follow the instructions if they can physically here it. They can only be summoned from wherever by their mast…" Neville began to say before a look of realization began to dawn on his and the other magical raised humans.

"They can only be summoned by whom, Neville?" Hermione asked, a sentiment shared by the two Altean's.

"By their master, Granger. A house elf can only be called by their master." Draco said in a slow tone and took a step back. Himself being very aware of the temper Hermione had.

"WHAT?!" Hermione and Harry yelled in shock at the same time before Harry said. "But Dobby only showed up when I…" Harry's eyes then widened in realization before he turned back to the sitting elf, who now looks a combination of sheepish and nervous.

"Dobby," Harry began in a calm voice, "when did you bond with me?"

"Dobby bonded with master Harry Potter sir after he freed Dobby from bad master." Dobby answered while looking down at his lap.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Harry asked, surprised that the little elf has been bonded to him for so long without him knowing.

"Dobby was worried that master would separate Dobby from master's service. It is difficult for house elves to find new masters after they are freed. Most wizards think a freed elf is a bad elf, sir." Dobby explained.

After a moment Harry finally let out a mild huph of air with a slight smile. "Dobby, I really wish that you told me all of this earlier. Especially after I found out that house elves need to be bound to survive. But since you're here I have one last question to ask. Do you think you could make it back home on a return trip?"

"Yes sir, master Harry Potter sir." Dobby says immediately, causing Harry to sweat drop.

"Another thing, please just call me Harry." Harry pleaded.

"Yes, master Harry." Dobby responded with a smile.

"Uh, I guess that will the best I can get." Harry said in a defeated tone while dropping his head.

After a moment Cedric called out to his fellow humans. "Ok, guys we should all write down letters for our families to give them a heads up. We should also give them list of things we may need, and that Dobby can bring back on his return trip."

"That's a good idea. Me and Sirius need to write reports on what's been happening since we've disappeared." Remus said as he and his old friend got up.

Harry then stands up and turns to Allura. "Can you watch over Dobby while I go write a letter myself? I need to give both Professor Dumbledore and the new minister an update as well."

"Go ahead. Me and Coran can watch over your friend while we wait." Allura replied.

With that said all of the humans hurried to their rooms to write their respective letters. Some twenty or so many minutes later, they all returned with envelopes of parchment, some thicker than the others, with specific people's names listed on them.

When Harry walked back into the room he went straight to Dobby's side. Kneeling down once more next to his small friend. "How are you feeling, Dobby?"

"Better, master Harry. Dobby should be fine to travel back home soon." Dobby said with far more energy than when he first arrived.

"Hey, Dobby," Hermione called out to catch the small elf's attention. "How has Winky been doing?" Having many of the others in the room begin to look at her in confusion.

Here Dobby's face and ears begin to droop. "Winky is not doing so well, Ms. Hermy. Winky is still terribly sad about being released from her old masters."

"I wish there was something that I could do to help." Hermione said in a sad tone.

"Dobby thinks that the only thing that can help Winky is to bond with a new family." Dobby responded.

"Isn't Winky bonded to Hogwarts?" Harry asked before he also noticed the confused looks of the others. "Winky is another house elf that was freed for false reasons by a wanker named Crouch." Harry explained.

"No, master Harry, house elves don't bond to magical buildings. All house elf's that work at Hogwarts are either bond to the headmaster or are free like Dobby. Free elves gain their magic from the air of Hogwarts to survive." Dobby explained.

"Hm, maybe you can see about bringing her hear, if you are able. One of us could bond with her to see if that can help." Hermione proposed.

"I am not sure that is the best idea, Hermione. I mean, I doubt she would want to bond with either of us for our part in the situation that led to her being fired by Crouch." Harry said.

"Wait, this Winky is Crouch Sr.'s old elf. The one that he let go after the fiasco at the World Cup two years ago." Draco asked and got nods of confirmation from Harry, Hermione, and Dobby. "Then she will likely not want to bond with me. With who my father is she may actually try and attack me."

"I am in a similar situation. Policies that Crouch pushed for in the Wizongamot my grandmother often stood against unless it had to do with punishing Death Eaters." Neville said.

Everyone then turned towards Sirius, and with an expectant look. "Sorry guys, but I can't bond with her either. My years in Azkaban and being so close to dementor's has damaged my magic in a way that I can't support such magical bonds. The only reason I am bonded to Kreacher is that he is bonded to the Black family." Sirius explained.

"My own condition has a similar affect on me." Remus said before anyone could suggest him.

A moment of silence fell on the group, everyone trying to figure out a way to help Winky. They were all drawing blanks until suddenly, "I will do it." Allura said firmly, shocking the group.

"You, Princess!?" Harry asked in shock.

"Yes, I may not know the types of spells that your kind does, but I do have magical abilities." Allura said before she was surprised when Dobby ran into her legs with tears in his eyes.

"Thank you, lady high elf miss." Dobby sniveled, confusing Allura slightly.

Seeing the confusion on her face, and seeing that Coran was similar, Hermione decided to explain. "If you're wondering why Dobby called you that, I believe it is because Altean's have similar features to what elves are described as having."

"Ah, thank you for clearing that up. Now I believe it is time to send our little friend off now." Allura said with a kind smile as she looked down at Dobby, who was now starting to calm down.

With that said, all of the humans had their letters tied together and handed it to Dobby, but before he left Harry decided to say one final piece.

"Ok Dobby, when you get back to Earth, I want you to take it easy. You will have been traveling across galaxies at least twice today. So I don't want you exerting yourself for a return trip for at least two days. Do you understand?" Harry asked his little friend and received a nod in response.

Dobby then disaperated with a pop, leaving only a blank space where he once was.

Hagar and Zarkon stand before a launch bay where a giant rocket structure is being prepared to be launched. Zarkon then says to Hagar, "This beast will allow us to destroy the paladins, and then Voltron will be ours."

As soon as Zarkon was done saying this the engines on the structure activated. Sending the massive device flying through the air, out of the Hub, and into the far abyss. Heading towards the last location of the Paladins of Voltron.

Later that night Harry is standing outside the castle, looking at the starry sky. He then spots Allura out the corner of his eye and notices that she is sitting down on a hill, in her royal outfit, staring at the stars as well. Harry then decides to walk over to her.

"Hey, it seems that we both had the same idea." Harry stated simply as he walked up to the princess.

Allura, who was only slightly startled, looked upon Harry as he approached and gained a slight smile. "So, it seems."

"Mind if I join you?" Harry asked as he gestured to the spot beside her.

"No, I do not mind." Allura responded and Harry sat down.

With that said Harry took a seat next to Allura and the two just began to watch the stars. After a few moments of comfortable silence Harry decided to broach a conversation with the alien princess.

"You know, back at the school me and the others go to, or went to, we have an astronomy class. For the longest time I didn't think anything of it, but now. I guess I just can't get used to seeing different stars and not seeing the ones I am used to." Harry said.

Allura, who hadn't taken her eyes off the sky, simply said. "Why did you need astronomy class. From what little you and the others have told me your people no longer need the stars for navigational purposes, at least for when you are on your planet."

"Well, scientist study stars and distant planets through telescopes and satellites to learn more about the wider universe. Wizards and witches, however, use them for more practical reasons. We use the alignment of the stars for certain potions, rituals, and even divining the future, but that last one is only really possible if you have an innate talent." Harry responded, also not looking away from the sky.

"Oh, that is interesting to hear, but I guess I don't really know much about your world." Allura said.

"Well, why don't you ask me some things about my home, and you can tell me about yours." Harry suggested.

"Ok, you have said that you went to a school to learn magic. What kind of magic did you learn?" Allura asked.

"There are several types that we learn. You have transfiguration, which allows us to change an item or creature temporarily into another. Then you have charms, which have a whole slew of abilitys. Potions, these can heal, alter, strengthen, and several other things. There are several other schools of magic or magic related activities, like astronomy, that are used in our particular magical culture." Harry said, giving a brief explanation on what European magicals learn. "Now, what are Altean magicals like? What do you learn?"

Allura didn't say anything at first, thinking of the best way to explain it. "Altean magic users didn't really begin learning how to fully utilize their talents until reaching full maturity. Before that, it is just learning theory. As for magical abilities, we didn't really have much in terms of more showy magic. We dedicated ourselves to enchantments, rituals, and alchemy primarily. The castle itself is an example of all three actually. The scientific portions were originally crafted by one of Coran's ancestors. While one of mine created many of the components through alchemy, reinforced the structure with enchanting, and designed it to be a magical relay for rituals."

"Huh, so Altea had alchemist as well. If you are capable of magic, Professor Dumbledore next time if he has any books that can help you learn. I am sure that the overall nature of our alchemy is different than yours, but I think the foundation of it should be the same." Harry suggested.

"That would be most appreciated." Allura then takes a pause, thinking about what she wants to ask next. "This has been something I have been wondering since dinner. How did you ever meet that strange little creature you call Dobby? I mean he is nice, but he just doesn't seem like someone you would meet on a whim."

"That's fair," Harry responded before explaining. "It happened in my second year. You see Draco's father, the blood supremacist Sirius told you about, used a cursed artifact belonging to Voldemort to release a thousand-year-old serpent, a basilisk to be specific, that went insane from under the school. Apparently, it was put under there by one of the school founders to protect the school from invaders should all else fail. But a combination of isolation, age, and Voldemort, who is a descendant of this founder, turned it into a blood thirsty beast. Lucius, Draco's father, tried to set it lose to kill all of the muggle borns. Dobby, who was Lucius's servant at this time, was aware of this and wanted to protect me by keeping me from going back."

Here Harry took a pause, realizing he was fixing to enter difficult territory. "My relatives, who I used to live with, were having a get together that night and Dobby thought if he could get me in trouble, I would be prevented from going back. He caused a desert that my aunt had made float and smash on the ground, covering the guest, and he disappeared. I ended up getting blamed for it. I was beaten, locked into my room and fed through a flap in the bottom. Heck, my uncle put bars on my window." It was here that Harry stopped looking at the stars and began looking at the ground. Allura on the other hand turned and looked at Harry in shock.

"How could they do such a thing?! Surely, they would have understood if you explained it to them." Allura questioned tentatively.

At this Harry gave a hollow laugh. "Not really, my relatives hate anything and everything that has to do with magic, or being 'abnormal' really."

Sensing the negative emotions start to build up, Allura put one of her hands on Harry's and scooted closer. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

After taking a brief moment to collect himself, Harry said. "No, you will learn sooner or later." Taking another pause, he continued. "After my parent's were killed, Sirius was arrested on false charges, and I was sent to live with my only living relatives, the Dursley's. My aunt, who is a petty bitter woman, was jealous of my mother for having magic. She eventually grew to hate it and eventually married a man who shared her views. They took their hatred out on me. Making me sleep in a shoe cupboard for ten years, doing all the chores, and blaming me for every little inconvenience. My uncle would beat me whenever things didn't go his way. My aunt spread lies and rumors about me being some criminal by the time I was out of diapers. And my cousin, who was unaware of magic during this time but learned he could do no wrong to his parents, would bully me and anyone who even tried being friends with me."

Here Allura's eyes began to harden in rage at what she was hearing. "Are you telling me you were so blatantly abused, and no one did anything?!"

"Unfortunately, yes, but not for a lack of trying." Harry said before elaborating. "The magical society was unaware because of special wards that stopped anyone from finding me while around the house or school. It also didn't help that there were no magical people living in the area. As for the non-magical people, several people did try to help, but my relatives have a lot of influence in that little area. Two teachers saw signs of abuse and ended up fired. Three neighbors tried and either ended up moving away for one reason or another, or just falling apart. All of this occurred because my aunt is the center of the local gossip ring, and my uncle has a lot of friends in local positions of power from his school days. Allowing them to get away with everything short of murder."

"It was only after I entered our magical society, that I truly began to live." Harry finished his tale before finally noticing the hand wresting on his. He then looked towards it and then looking up and into the crystal blue eyes of the princess, who was giving him a reassuring smile while having a sad look in her eyes. "You must think I am pathetic now, don't you?" Harry said unsurely with a lite blush on his face.

"No, Harry. I think you are strong. Not just for being able to live your life and get through that, but that you were able to open up to others and be willing to stand up for them. What your relatives did was cruel, even by the standards of the Galra. If they were on Altea they would have been put to death before you could say quiznack." Allura said in a calm voice that developed into a harder tone. Then she noticed how close she was to Harry and looked away, removing her hand, and gained a blush herself. Harry, seeing this, followed suit.

"I-I think we should head inside now." Harry stuttered out.

"Y-Yes, let's." Allura responded.

As the two walked inside in a comfortable silence they kept stealing glances at one another. When they got to the part where they would separate, they turned to face each other.

"I guess this is where we go our separate ways." Harry said nervously, still blushing slightly.

"Quiet, it was good talking to you Harry." Allura responded, also still blushing.

"Yeah, same here. Good night, princess." Harry said.

"Good night, Harry." Allura returned before both turned down different paths and began walking out of sight of the other.

Sorry it took so long, but I did say updates would be sporadic. Now onto some explanations.

First, please don't complain about the team forming Voltron on their own so quickly. Like I explained in the story, all of the paladins already trust each other. As such they don't need to constantly but heads with one another to try and fix this.

Second, Harry and Allura have opened up to each other so soon because they both see similar pain in the other. Harry lost his parents and has constantly been hunted by the same monster since finding out, thereby keeping him from the one thing he truly desires, family. Allura lost everything she loved to Zarkon, and is now being hunted by him. As such, both empathize with one another on a deep level. Or at least, this is how I am making it out as.

As for changes that you may have noticed in the previous chapters, that's on me. I use Microsoft Word to write this stuff and a certain feature on it doesn't follow over to the format. As such, I have been trying to fix it so the different sections don't all run together.
