One year later.

Viscountess Kathani Bridgerton was walking down the hallway of Aubrey Hall. Her eyes in search for something or someone the staff can not be sure as she curiously peaked behind drapes or peered behind doors or pillars.

If a maid or footman passed her, she would kindly smile at them but do not ask for any assistance.

Nor does the staff offered because after a year and a half of her being part of this family everyone knows that there are times to assist her and times like this to let her enjoy seek what she is looking for and sure enough she opened the corner trunk with a triumphant smile. "Ha! Found you Mr Bridgerton!"

Young Gregory, now lad of four, gave his sister a sweet smile as he asked. "Am I last? Have you found others."

The other siblings appeared with disgruntled looks after getting caught by her sister-in-law again who was now staring a head as she replied. "I have yet to find Your eldest brother and your youngest sister and I wager anything I will find them hiding together."

So with Viscountess leading the small army of Bridgerton siblings she marched towards the study and opened the door.

"Lord Bridgerton? Ms Hyacinth? Where are you?" She calls out to an empty room.

They heard a child sweet giggle and a grownup shushing noise. Benedict rolled his eyes as he asked. "Why would you hide with a toddler?"

"Hyacinth always gave you away even if you are hiding in the best of places." Colin yells out loud enough for his brother to hear who was still hiding.

They heard a giggle louder this time and then some muffling sound.

"Alright, let's finish this game." Kathani yanked open the ledgers closet and found Hyacinth in her husband's lap as he sat on the closet floor while trying to cover his baby sister's mouth.

"Caught you!" She announced making Anthony huffed at his sister. "We loose once again because of you."

But Hyacinth was already reaching out for Kathani while chanting. "Kate! Up!"

She picked up her adorable sister and kissed her cheeks. "Who is the cutest baby! You are!"

The child giggled and hugged her closer as her husband stood up and once again stared at them with longing in his eyes.

A longing she felt too whenever they visited Aubrey Hall and helped care for their siblings, especially Gregory and Hyacinth.

That evening they were enjoying a picnic nearby lake. Kathani held Hyacinth in her arms as she naps.

Anthony was just returning as his team won a rowing match against Benedict, Colin and Eloise.

She laughs at the triumphant laughter of Daphne Francesca and little Gregory as he rushed towards her. "We won! We won! Did you see I rowed with Anthony."

"I did and I think you were brilliant for your first time."

By the time Anthony reached the group he watched how his young siblings were excitedly recounting their experiences to his wife.

"What do you say Viscountess, next time we raced against each other."

His wife scrunched her nose as she whispered to her siblings. "Your brother really likes to lose against me."

"I do not!"

"You do!" His siblings screamed and then started recounting his great defeat. "You lost during horse racing." Benedict reminds him.

"The chess match." Colin informed the group.

"The charades." Francesca reminds them.

"The fencing match." Eloise recounts while Daphne recounts another game. "She beat you at shooting competition too."

"And she won in hide-and-seek!" Gregory yells out making everyone fell into laughter while Anthony huffed in annoyance. "Traitors."

Kathani tried to control her laughter before she silenced her audience. "All right everyone, let's give Lord Bridgerton chance to try his luck again. Tomorrow afternoon we will race but only if all Bridgerton's went for a nap right now."

The next few seconds were chaotic at best but finally Kathani managed to put all her siblings for their nap on top of their picnic blanket under the shaded tree.

Anthony and her both watched sleeping children between them and once again they felt familiar longing in each other's eyes.

"You are so great with them. One day, hopefully, you will be the best father to our children like you are being for your siblings, especially Gregory and Hyacinth."

Anthony reached out and grabbed his wife's hand above his sleeping siblings. "One day, you will be as wonderful mother as you are with them but we have to wait for two more years for our studies to be completed."

Kathani sighed but agreed with her husband. For a while they lay peacefully while staring at the sky as it changed into the color of evening.

Finally she turned and asked a question in a playful voice. "Had Lord Bridgerton decided on number of children we were going to have in future."

Anthony seems like he is giving this question serious thought and then he points out two fingers at her.

"Two?" She asked in surprise because she always thought Anthony wanted more than that if not eight."

"Na." He smirked and confirmed her guess by turning his fingers around, showing her four of his fingers.

It seems his wife is in agreement with him as she reaches out to shake those four fingers with her own. "Four it is."

With that decided they laid peacefully with seven Bridgerton children between them and both have to agree that four is sensible number then eight.

With two weeks left for their third year to start one morning a carriage arrived at Aubrey Hall.

The Entire family and staff gathered outside and no one was as excited as Viscountess Bridgerton who all but ran towards the arriving carriage and burst into tears the second door open and a young girl jumped into her arms. "Didi!"

"Bon! My God! You have grown so much!" She hugged her sister closer before prepping kisses on her forehead and cheeks.

"Kathani." She finally stared away from her sister and saw her mama being helped out of carriage by Simon.

Soon Mary joined her daughters and kissed her eldest face as tears spilled from their eyes. "Oh beti! How much I missed you!"

"I missed you too mama!" Kathani cries as she stared back at her sister. "I missed you both so much."

Anthony finally joined his wife and hugged his friend. "Thank you Basset, thank you for getting them here safely."

"I promised my sister I will reunite her with her family and today I fulfilled that promise."

Kathani stared at him with gratitude as she embraced her family closer as she assured them. "You both are here in your new home and I have hope that one day Karan will be reunited with us soon."

A search ship has been sailing for the past year in search for someone important.

They had to search many ports and islands that were in between British seas and the assume spot where many people were thrown overboard because of deadly storm.

Their search led them towards another deserted island. At first, the captain and crew could see nothing but as they grew closer they could see a faded white cloth attached to a long stick and a few wooden huts near the beach.

They travel to shore through their boats and found a weak-looking bearded man stumbling towards them. "Help! Help us please!"

A crew member gave this man water and blanket as a captain approached this gaunt looking man who seemed on the verge of his death due to starvation and isolation. "Sir how many have you survived?"

"Four." The man's voice was barely coming out and yet he mustered great strength to reply. "Only four men are now alive two of them will die any day. Please sir save us! We have already buried thirty-six bodies of a men, a woman and three children."

The captain felt odds against him but he still hoped to inquire about the one man who they were sent to rescue in the first place. "Tell me do you know a man called Karan Sharma? Did he survive this island like yourself?"

The man stared at him in understanding and then nods his head before pointing towards the hut.

"Thank God!" The captain was about to move towards the hut when the man grabbed his hand. "Help him! Save him because he is going to die any day now."

With that warning, the captain hurriedly rushed towards the cabin and sure enough a dark skinned man was all bones and skin as he laid unconscious on the floor as if all the hope had gone from his life and now he is waiting for death to claim his life.
