Note: I must admit, I am not entirely satisfied with this chapter. Honestly speaking, I don't think I have portrayed Rolivia as well as I had hoped. However, as they say, we are often our own worst critic. Despite my reservations, I hope you manage to find some enjoyment in reading this chapter. Rest assured, I am diligently working on the next chapter and will strive to improve upon it. Thank you for taking the time to read it!

Can I hold on to you?
Even if you're tumbling too
Let's give up, to give in
come on in

A quarter past twelve, after a couple of drinks and tequila shots, Amanda and Olivia had reached a point where their nerves were numbed by liquid courage. Olivia had just finished telling her funniest breakup story, which had Amanda nearly in tears from laughing so hard. As they talked about everything under the sun, a newfound comfort settled between them, effortlessly dissolving the earlier tension. They became so engrossed in conversation that they didn't notice they had been holding hands for a brief moment until Amanda pulled away, realizing what had happened.

Playfully wiggling her eyebrows, Olivia asked, "So, Georgia Peach, are you currently dating or seeing anyone?"

Amanda chuckled at Olivia's lighthearted mannerisms, shook her head, and took a sip of her beer before responding, "Nope, I'm single. The last time I was in a relationship was a few years ago with my ex, Lauren. I think it was maybe around 2015."

Time seemed to come to a halt for Olivia. The air grew still, and silence enveloped them, save for the sound of her racing heart and the thudding in her ears. A rush of warmth surged down her spine, leaving her momentarily frozen. With a tipsy mind slowing her thoughts, Olivia struggled to process what Amanda had just revealed.

Finally finding her voice, Olivia tried to sound less shocked than she felt, saying, "Oh, Lauren. A woman...," as she attempted to make sense of the revelation.

It was an unintentional outing on Amanda's part, a realization that she had inadvertently shared her truth with her boss and friend. While Amanda had always intended to tell Olivia, she had been waiting for the right moment, whenever that might be. But now, the truth was out, and Amanda decided to embrace it.

"Uh, yeah, I might've forgotten to mention that I am bi," she confessed, accompanied by a nervous yet sincere smile.

Olivia took a long sip of her wine, savoring its tart and smooth taste as it danced on her tongue. The wine provided a fleeting moment of calm, momentarily distracting her from the storm of emotions swirling within her. In the dimly lit ambiance of the bar, the numbness acted as a welcome respite, muffling her internal turmoil.

"No, god, no, you had no reason to tell me, unless of course you wanted to," Olivia replied, her voice warm and understanding, reassuring Amanda that there was no pressure or judgment. Finishing her wine, she signaled the bartender for another.

Detecting a hint of panic in Olivia's eyes, Amanda understood that they both needed a break. A pause to collect themselves and perhaps seek solace in the fresh air. Amanda turned to Olivia and asked, "I'm stepping out for a smoke, care to join me?"

Without hesitation, Olivia followed Amanda at a leisurely pace. Her focus remained on the woman in front of her, observing Amanda's golden hair pulled back into a ponytail, swaying with each step. Amanda's black jeans hugged her curves, and the rhythmic thud of her Doc Martens echoed in Olivia's ears. They reached the back door leading to the bar's outdoor area, a small and private space featuring a tall brick wall that shielded them from prying eyes and the outside world.

Leaning against the brick wall, Amanda stood there with a cigarette perched between her lips, lighting it with a silver lighter. The soft glow of the flame illuminated her features in the subdued outdoor setting.

A few inches away, Olivia stood entranced, her brown eyes tracing every inch of Amanda's silhouette, her golden hair radiant under the gentle moonlight. Amanda's shadow elongated behind her, casting an enigmatic presence as Olivia studied her figure amidst the dim illumination. With measured steps, Olivia closed the distance until she stood face to face with Amanda. In Amanda's blue eyes, Olivia found a mesmerizing sparkle that left her spellbound, lost in their depths. The heat between their bodies intensified, drawing them closer, as if they were caught in a wicked spell of sin and desire, an intoxicating sensation they had never imagined could exist.

A shiver ran down Olivia's spine, unsure if it was the chill wind or the electric tension enveloping them. Without thinking, Amanda took Olivia's hand and switched positions, pressing Olivia's back against the brick wall while Amanda positioned herself in front, leaving little room between them. Olivia swallowed hard, her chest rising and falling as she struggled to catch her breath against their newfound proximity. The air crackled with desire, and the world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them in that moment. Amanda's fragrance of lavender vanilla, combined with their physical closeness, ignited a deep emotional connection and longing. Olivia's instinctive urge to pull Amanda even closer was met with Amanda reciprocating the same, both seeking to close the already minimal distance between them. Amanda's hands rested on Olivia's waist, while Olivia held onto Amanda's jacket, their bodies drawn together by an invisible force.

Without any control of their own, Amanda and Olivia surrendered to the magnetic pull between them. They closed the remaining gap, their lips meeting in a slow, tender kiss. The taste of wine and beer lingered as their lips moved in synchrony, creating an intoxicating blend that ignited a fiery passion. Within that moment, the outside world ceased to exist, consumed by the warmth and intensity of their connection.

Their kiss deepened, fueled by the unspoken emotions and desires that had long been simmering beneath the surface. Time stood still as they embraced the risk they were taking, exploring an uncharted territory of vulnerability and shared intimacy. Amanda and Olivia surrendered to the electrifying chemistry that had drawn them together, indulging in the passion that had ignited their souls.

In the cool night air, their breaths mingled, forming a delicate cloud of shared existence. The blend of their perfumes created an enchanting aroma that hung in the atmosphere, enhancing the profound connection they were forging. As their lips danced together, shades of red and pink stained their mouths, mirroring the shape of a heart.

In that suspended moment, their bond deepened further, reaching beyond the physical realm. All that mattered was the profound connection they were about to explore—an act that held the weight of their unspoken desires, ready to be unveiled.

Amanda and Olivia leaned into each other, their bodies merging as their lips met once more. The world faded away, leaving only the warmth of their embrace, the intensity of their desire, and the serenity of the night as witnesses to their burgeoning love.
