With a mere thought, the Attribute Panel vanished into the ether, as if it had never existed.
Since last Monday, Light's world had been the stage for fascinating events and unexpected twists. Time, as he knew it, had become malleable. In a special training room, he had invested the equivalent of five years of energy. Out of these, four years were spent alongside Misa, boosting his power to 'Archduke' level.
The same for Misa, she had become as powerful as a High-Level Devil.
The intensity and closeness of this period made her even more devoted to him. In return for her loyalty and acceptance of the other companions in his life, Light made a promise: he would dedicate, at least, the equivalent of one year in the special training room to her, every week.
An ironic smile touched Light's lips. The situation was, in a way, comical. After all, this was precisely the outcome he had hoped for without her asking.
But it wasn't just Misa's loyalty that marked this week. Ryuk, the enigmatic Shinigami, had undergone a metamorphosis, becoming a Silver Zodiac of the Scorpio Sign. His vast fortune, a representation of his power and influence, secured him a change in fate that granted him an abundance of points.
And, of course, there was Light's intervention in Kaori Miyazono's fate. Light's Zodiac Stone, which was used to prevent the tragic end of the talented violinist, not only saved a precious life but also earned him a generous reward in points.
A cunning gleam appeared in Light's eyes. "Hehe... I just had an intriguing idea." And, before Ryuk could react, Light disappeared, as if he were a mirage fading before the Shinigami's eyes.
[Why do I feel this way? It's strange... in the past few days, everything has been so... normal. No stumbles, no awkward situations, no... accidents. I always wished for these embarrassing moments to stop, but now that they have, it feels like something is missing...]
[Did I actually enjoy those moments? No, it can't be... They were embarrassing and always put me in tricky situations. But somehow, they also brought me closer to the people around me. They made me feel... alive?]
[No, that's ridiculous. But why do I feel this strange sense of emptiness? Maybe those moments, as embarrassing as they were, were a part of me. A part I didn't want to admit, but that was there. And now that they're gone, I miss them. It's frustrating. I shouldn't miss them. But somehow, I do. And it makes me question who I truly am and what I really want.]
Upon teleporting, Light was immediately flooded with the deepest thoughts of Yuki Rito, which caught him somewhat off guard.
He quickly decided to keep his mind shut, preventing any of his reactions or thoughts from manifesting externally.
Lately, he had allowed fragments of his consciousness to be revealed, but he realized that this strategy was becoming less effective. Initially, revealing certain secrets or feelings earned him considerable points, but as the most impactful ones were disclosed, the rewards diminished. There were limits to what he could exploit in this manner.
'Yuki is clearly being influenced,' Light reflected. 'In a way, he reminds me of Issei. Both have their quirks and desires. However, Yuki had the fortune of surrounding himself with girls who, somehow, helped moderate and channel his perverted lust, but now he no longer has the ability: Lucky Pervert...'
Light began to believe that it wasn't so bad after all. At first, he didn't like the fact that he had stolen that particular ability, but if it somehow helps to break Yuki Rito... Then, it wasn't such a bad trade-off after all.
Setting that aside for now, Light saw the scene he wanted to see.
There was the blonde-haired girl flying while holding the hands of a black-haired boy with prescription glasses.
The boy looked somewhat scared, while the girl seemed incredibly energetic.
If anyone saw her now, they wouldn't imagine she was the same girl who just a few hours ago was pale, looking incredibly sick.
However, just as Light had expected, the girl's wings disappeared a few minutes later as he watched. It was obvious she was still weak. After all, she had just reincarnated as a Heavenly Devil and was nearly on her deathbed as a human before; unlike Misa, who was essentially already someone with some power and was a healthy human and had the Golden Zodiac Stone used on her, which gave her much more powers.

The jealousy boiling in her stomach had become an unbearable storm.
Rinko Kuzaki, heartbroken, discovered that the person she deeply loved had a preference for girls with curvier bodies. With every step she took through the city, it seemed that fate conspired for her to encounter young women with silhouettes that made her feel diminished, fueling her envy and insecurity.
And how could it be otherwise? Tears had been her only company since Yuto Amakawa, in a sincere confession, revealed he saw her only as a friend. He even mentioned that, at times, he found her insistent with her hints, but never pushed her away entirely, as he appreciated the care she took of him, especially preparing his meals and helping with household chores.
On a particularly dark night, while walking to the convenience store, Rinko looked up and came face to face with a young gyaru/gal. The confidence with which the girl displayed her curvy figure made Rinko feel a wave of shame and inferiority, causing her to quickly lower her head.
With a melancholic gaze, she observed her own body, silently questioning herself: "Is there still hope for me in this regard?" As she contemplated her flatter silhouette, almost like an airstrip, she let out a sigh heavy with sadness.

'Rinko?' While flying, Light observed the young girl's actions.
However, he barely had time to focus on her, as more pressing matters demanded his attention.
With impressive speed, he grabbed a golden-haired, light-eyed young woman, as well as a black-haired boy with glasses, who was screaming in panic, perhaps even more than the girl.
"You're safe now."
Hearing Light's soft and comforting voice, both opened their eyes, which had previously been shut tight from the terror of the impending fall.
Upon realizing who had rescued them, the boy was the first to react: "Is it you?!"
Light merely responded with a serene smile.
The young woman, upon fully opening her eyes, was completely captivated by the being before her. He was the very embodiment of grace, with a beauty so stunning it seemed to transcend reality. She was breathless, unable to find words to express her admiration.
Certainly, her fascination was only for the extraordinary beauty before her. After all, her heart already belonged to another...
With an almost ethereal grace, Light flew them to the rooftop of a building near a hospital.
Upon landing, the bespectacled boy could barely stand, his legs shaking as if made of water. The sensation of being back on solid ground seemed too much for him.
On the other hand, the golden-haired girl, although initially frightened, recovered quickly. Her bright and curious eyes fixed on the enigmatic savior in front of her.
"I imagine you have many questions about me," Light said with a friendly smile. "My name is Light Yagami. Besides being who I am, I'm also a Heavenly Being; it was I who gave the bespectacled boy the artifact that, indirectly, saved you."
The girl's expression lit up with recognition. "Ah! So it was you!" She said, clearly moved. She had already guessed as much when she saw him. With an enthusiastic gesture, she clapped her hands and, in a gesture of deep gratitude, bowed before him. "I don't know how to thank you! If it weren't for you, I... Well, anyway, I'm eternally grateful!"
