Harry Potter & The Ancient Potter Grimoire Chapter 3

A/N Hello everyone, before I even begin to start my story, I would like to make clear I do not own harry Potter, or any property in anyway shape or form relating to Warner Brothers and J.K Rowling. I would love any reviews and criticism, just no super harsh toxic energy because nobody really likes that. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I honestly hope you enjoy. P.S I know my grammar is awful and I am currently working on getting better I promise :D

Harry will be fairly powerful in this story, he is destined to be the dark lord's rival after all, and I imagine Tom/Voldemort had done dozens of rituals to boost and amplify his magic and body when he was alive the first time around. Harry's power won't be immediate, and it will come over time.

I have noticed a few reviews about Harry sharing family magic, and I honestly don't understand where it is coming from, but he will not be sharing any family magic with anyone! I've also noticed a few reviews about the pairing in this story and it is a Harry/Daphne pairing. I love the idea of Harry who is a half-blood yet raised in the muggle world who knows barely anything about the magical side of the world, and Daphne who is a pureblood witch who is very knowledgeable about the wizarding world and knows nothing really about the muggle side. Thank again for all of the reviews and I hope everyone enjoys the story. Anyway, enjoy the new chapter!

Harry and Lyal Windscor walked into a private room, the door closing behind them and locking itself shut as a beautiful case marked with intricate designs sat on the table, and Lyal lifted the cover off of the case to reveal Harry's wand. It was quite a beautiful design with the two woods' somehow combined and wrapped around each other, the yew and elder wood combined with gold lines that looked like veins covered the entire wand.

"May I present your new wand Mr. Potter. This is a Elderwood and Yew combined wand with a special type of gold that is only known to the dwarves that has a magical essence to it. After doing some research I discovered that this particular gold was used in Godric Gryffindors wand, and it was able to make your wand work well with each other. Your cores are a phoenix feather that have absorbed phoenix tears graciously donated from Fawkes, Dumbledore's Familiar and Basilisk Venom. I don't mean to taunt my own horn, but this may be the most difficult and beautiful wand I have ever created, please treat it with care Harry."

Lyal pushed the box over to Harry and Harry carefully grasped the wand and felt an intense pressure of magic from the bonding of the wand, several moments later the pressure disappeared completely. Lyal stared at the young boy as the boy's eyes had glowed momentarily when the wand bonded with him, a bright green flame radiated behind his green eyes.

"Holy Merlin… I have never seen a bonding that strong before, you are one powerful wizard Mr. Potter," Treasure that wand, it will be your greatest tool for the rest of your life." Lyal whispered faintly as he witnessed the powerful bonding.

Harry looked over towards Lyal and smiled, gently placing his wand in his back pocket for safe keeping, Lyal beckoned Harry to follow him in a rather sudden expression of anger and walked towards the front of the store and reached below the counter, drawing out two separate wand holsters and placed them on the countertop.

"These are unique wand holsters sold only by my store as we invented them. Place one on your forearm and the other one on a calf of your choice, the wand is able to be transported of sorts between the two holsters which could provide life changing support if you are in a sticky situation and do not have access to your forearm holster for some reason. The two holsters are able to turn invisible if you wish as well and have anti summon charms to prevent your wand from being summoned. I highly suggest you purchase these as they might save you in a life or death situation." Lyal spoke In a serious tone.

Harry nodded and paid the galleons for the wand holsters that were listed, and with the assistance of Lyal he properly secured the holsters on his forearm and left calf. Harry bowed his head slightly and thanked him for all of his help and walked out of the store. The rare sun blinded Harry slightly as he stepped outside, the fresh humid air filling his lungs as he took a deep breath, the familiar feeling of his wand's warmth and connection was like a rejuvenation high he didn't know he needed.

Harry decided to do some much needed shopping as his clothes were skintight due to his growth in height and his filling out, and walked down the alley to where Gringotts was located to retrieve some money so he could splurge a little, Harry was proud of himself for remembering that he had very few galleons on him due to the wand holsters. The Gringotts building appeared much sooner then Harry thought and bowed his heads to the two goblin warriors that were outside the doors and walked inside, walking to a teller that didn't have anyone in the lane.

"Good Afternoon Teller, I hope your vault's overflow and your enemies fall to your blade. I would like to withdraw some money from my vault please and thank you." Harry bowed his head gently and missed the shocked expression that appeared on the goblins face.

"Certainly wizard, I will need your vault key to confirm your identity." The goblin teller asked.

Harry reached into his pocket and retrieved the vault key that Slayertooth had gotten for him since the other key was not in his possession and it was deemed invalid, and Harry passed the key to the teller, and he heard a mumble of words that was gobbledegook. Harry grabbed the key when it was handed back to him and pocketed it back into his robe pocket.

"How much would you like to withdraw from your trust vault Heir Potter? Your current balance is eight thousand one hundred and five galleons."

Harry's eyes widened at how much his trust vault currently contained, and contemplated how much he would require for a whole new wardrobe, and possible other items he may purchase and figured he could withdraw more then he could use.

"May I please withdraw twelve hundred galleons? If possible may I have a pouch of some kind to carry around all of those galleons."

The goblin teller nodded and reached down, and pulled out a brown leather pouch and it was suddenly filled with the twelve hundred galleons, and it was handed over to Harry. Harry smiled and nodded his thanks to the Teller and was about to place the pouch on his pants before the goblin stopped him.

"I locked the pouch to your magical signature for more security, as it will only open to your magical signature from now on, I hope your enemies fall to your wand Mr. Potter."

Harry nodded his head in thanks and spoke, "and may your enemies fall to your sword." Harry then clasped his pouch to his belt and walked out of Gringotts, eager to purchase new necessities.

Harry stepped out of the bank and decided to explore Diagon Alley, walking down the steps of the bank and began to walk up the alley, keeping in detail all of the different shops, like Quality Quidditch Supplies and Gambol and Japes the wizarding joke shop, Harry decided to walk into Magical Trunks & Accessories to purchase a much better quality trunk.

"Good Afternoon, Welcome to Magical Trunks & Accessories! How can I help you today?" Behind the counter was a man in his forties with a little bit of a belly spoke with a large smile, the walls displayed with different types of bags including suitcases, trunks, and several bags that catered to more towards the women.

Harry looked around the shop for a few seconds, admiring all the different products that aligned the walls then approached the counter.

"Good afternoon, I'm looking to purchasing a trunk. I'm unfamiliar with what options are available for trunks, would you be able to help me sir?" Harry asked with a slightly embarrassed expression on his face.

The man chuckled lightly and reached under the counter, pulling out a simple large parchment detailing all the available enchantments and features that could be applied to a trunk, and gave it to Harry for him to gander over, and waited patiently for Harry to decide on what he would like to purchase. The man looked up as Harry got his attention to let him know he was done. The man walked over a few feet to stand in front of Harry and smiled gently.

"What would you like young man?" The man asked gently, pulling out a floating quill and small notepad of sorts to write down what Harry was going to order.

Harry looked down at the list to double check on what he would like to place on the new trunk.

"I was thinking of a three storage trunk, including the library, large closet and quidditch storage compartment. I was curious if I could still purchase additional features including the large ice box for food and drink storage, the potion storage option and small kitchen that is on the list?"

"if you are thinking of those options young man, the trunk would have to be upgraded to a four storage trunk and have one compartment as a general use idea, having the kitchen, ice box and potion storage then the three compartments be the main ones, would that be alright? I understand it is a increase of fifty galleons for a four storage trunk compared to three but I don't believe it would work with the three."

Harry nodded his confirmation and began to gander around the shop looking exclusively at the trunks and the man walked around the store, showing what trunks would be available as a four storage compartment trunk as some of the cheaper trunks wouldn't be able to be enchanted like that. Harry decided on getting a leather trunk that was coloured in black and gold strips, apparently it was the leather of a very unique magical cow of sorts that are only available in Asia, mostly Japan of sorts.

Harry shook his head in how odd the cow sounded like a type of cow that was only found in Japan and produced some of the most delicious and expensive beef called wagyu, the man behind the counter expression the trunk will take several hours to complete as Harry also decided to purchase a lot of enchantments including several security options including fireproofing the trunk, securing it so it could be unlocked from his magical signature and enchanting the trunk to become as light as a feather and to become unbreakable.

Harry thanked the man with a wave, leaving the payment on the counter remembering how the teller goblin gave him directions on how to withdraw an exact amount of coins from his coin purse by using his wand. Harry left the trunk store and decided to venture to Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions and update his severely outdated wardrobe, as he only really owned Dudleys hand me downs.

Harry walked into the clothing store and was immediately greeted by a young woman in her mid twenties, the woman scaring Harry quite a bit as she appeared out of nowhere like she was under a spell or invisibility cloak.

"Good afternoon young man, how may I help you today?" the woman asked with quite a bubbly personality that could make any person smile with how infectious her personality was.

"Hello ma'am, I've recently had a growth spurt and have outgrown most of my clothing so I need to update my entire wardrobe, would you be able to assist me? I would like a female's perspective after all since you clearly know fashion." Harry finished with a light smile that made the woman grin from the compliment.

The young witch guided Harry towards the men's section of the shop and waved her wand, and different types of clothing began to fly around him as he stood still on a platform, a floating measuring tape began to measure his measurements. a few minutes later the clothes floated back to where they came from before and Harry stepped out off of the platform.

"Well dearie, we will have to decide on different styles for shirts, and robes and other preferences but I suggest you choose cool winter colours, they look very good with your skin colour and hair type." The young staff member suggested, and Harry decided to follow her advice, since he knew nothing about fashion and what looks good.

"if I may ask, what are cool winter colours ma'am?" Harry asked as he was escorted throughout the store, the staff member pointing out different styles of clothing from more traditional to more modern styles of clothing and footwear.

"Winter cool colours are more prominent colours like blues, purples and some minor greens. Lighter colours also work very well like very lighter blues, pinks and whites. I will make sure you look good for the media and ladies, I promise young man."

The young lady smiled as he appreciated her suggestion, she began to cast spells as Harry picked out different articles of clothing, following the odd suggestion the staff member suggested. Harry picked out acromantula silk robes that could be enchanted with several enchantments at the counter, including a temperature based enchantment that kept Harry from being affected by the cold and hot weather.

Harry blushed nervously as he picked out his underwear preference, the female attendant giggled to herself as several packages of the underwear floated over to the rest of all the clothes Harry had chosen. Harry was then escorted to the footwear section and chose several different shoes including some dress shoes and muggle sneakers, he also purchased a very popular muggle shoe called Jordans, he was very surprised to find them in the magical world.

Harry and the young woman walked over to the cash out counter, and all of the bags were shrunk already, Harry's eyes widened at the price and remembered he literally purchased dozens of clothes, Harry pressed his wand tip against the money pouch and withdrew the 10 galleons more then the total price and tipped the kind woman who helped him immensely.

Stepping out of the clothing store with his pockets filled with his recently purchased bags of clothes, Harry's stomach growled and decided to go enjoy lunch at the Leaky Cauldron, he turned to start walking down the cobble stone road. He reached the leaky cauldron and decided on getting a cheeseburger with fries and gravy and butterbeer.

Harry waved at Tom and left a gracious tip after devouring the delicious greasy burger and fries, and decided to explore Diagon one more time before going back to the house to meet with his Grandfather, Harry entered Diagon once more and decided to venture into Knockturn alley, it couldn't be as bad as it supposedly right? Aurors would have cleared Knockturn years ago if it was purely illegal and dark stores and shady activities.

Harry ventured down the alley, various shady witches and wizards noticed and watched him as he descended the alley, taking note of the various businesses including oddly enough several hotels for magical folk. Harry was near the end of the alley when he noticed a bookstore and looked up at the store sign, noticing it was in a language he had never seen before. Harry entered the store and looked around, noticing it was a very old shop by the interior and how dusty everything was. Harry was looking over the various books that were in the bookcases and various glass display classes, most of the books were in Latin and Gaelic, a few of the books we're in Greek if he had to guess.

As Harry was exploring the books, he realized they were all very rarer books! Harry picked up several spell books that contained rituals, common spells to know for day to day living, and several older books of Wizengamot and Ministry of Magic laws and traditions.

Harry was looking around for an employee so he could make his purchases, and noticed a small glass display case with three books inside and walked up to the case that was beside the counter, Harry gasped quite loudly at the authors.

"Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor…?" Harry mumbled to himself as he looked the books, realizing the treasure that was in front of him.

"I see you have found my shop young wizard, how may I be of assistance?" an elderly man spoke from behind the counter, scaring Harry shitless as he never detected the older man walk close to him.

"Hello sir, I have these books here I would like to purchase." Harry spoke and placed the books on the counter before gazing again to the books by the founders. "if I may ask, how much are all these books? There are no visible prices that I could see."

The elderly man laughed and grinned at the young man. "the books are forty galleons each young man, I am happy to find a young man who is interested in knowledge and history. It's a shame these days that most wizards and witches are contempt on living such boring lives."

Harry decided to delicately pick up the three books by the founders of Hogwarts and paid for his purchases, leaving a gracious tip for the elderly man and exited the shop, the books accompanying him in his pocket with his clothes. Harry grabbed the gold coin necklace his grandfather gave him and squeezed gently, port keying him back into the grandfather's study, landing quite awkwardly as most magical travel hate him.

Harry groaned as he realized he forgot to pick up his suitcase, immediately after he thought that the suitcase appeared in front of him, with an elf smiling and snapped his fingers, the clothes and books Harry purchased instantly moved into the suitcase as it had a small glow for a moment before the elf apparited away. Harry's Grandfather watched and chuckled at his Grandson and teasingly asked "How was shopping my boy?"

Harry's response was a groan from exhaustion and announced to his Grandfather he was going to go take a nap, He left the office soon after, choosing to ignore his Grandfather's giggling. The Potter Grimoire laid on the desk, glowing slightly to being around Harry. Fleamont noticed the glow and smiled sadly, deciding to take a nap himself.

Harry was sitting at the kitchen table, enjoying a delicious breakfast that Teeko had lovingly prepared for him. Harry had taken his potion regimen that was assigned to him by Brooke and his face immediately scrunched up as if he ate a dozen sour candies, the gross disgusting taste and texture from the potions almost made Harry upchuck and lose his lunch but somehow kept it down.

Harry was reading the book that Godric Gryffindor had written and it turned out it was one of Godric Gryffindors personal journals that he kept when himself and the three other founders were building and fortifying Hogwarts.

"Young Master, Your Grandfather requests your presence right away." Topper then disappeared to do some cleaning Harry imagined, Harry placed the book on his nightstand with a book marker to keep his progress and walked to his Grandfathers office, curious as what his Grandfather wanted.

"How can I help you Grandfather?" Harry asked as he entered the room, taking a seat across from the desk so he was face to face with the portrait.

"Good morning Harry, how was shopping in Diagon?"

"I'm alright sir, it was quite exhausting overall but I'm happy that I got a new wand, clothes and trunk and some books. I discovered this small book shop in Knockturn alley and found three books that were written by the founders of Hogwarts." Harry explained excitedly to his grandfather.

"It is great to hear Harry, I am extremely pleased you had a great day and picked up a bunch of new items. I would like to begin your training with the family grimoire. It is quite an odd experience I must warn you. are you ready to begin your training?" Fleamont asked.

Harry nodded his head and followed his Grandfather's instructions. He sat in a meditative sitting position called the lotus and held the grimoire in his hands, Harry's eyes were closed, his magic began to merge with the Book and unknowingly, a little fraction of his soul begin to seep into the grimoire and Harry was mentally teleported into a deep subconscious location inside of the grimoire. Harry's eyes opened to see hundreds of people looking at him, the closest people to him being his Mother and Father who instantly hugged him tightly, crying as they held their beautiful child who was all grown up.

Harry began crying never imagining he would be able to interact with his parents ever again and hugged them tightly so they would never leave him again. After a few long minutes Harry heard a very familiar voice that came from behind his father.

"Welcome to the Grimoire Grandson."
