Hi everybody! I know it's been forever, and I'm sorry! But I have a few new chapters for you. I'm really in the mood to write, so please leave me some more requests! I've updated The Other Daughter story too, so definitely check that out if you haven't already. :)
Drunk Part 2
A guest asked for a follow up to this chapter. Hope you enjoy :)
Hanna squinted as the sun shined in her eyes. Her head was pounding and the room felt like it was spinning a little. Why did she feel so bad? What happened last night? Hanna remembered going to her friend's and that the movie night turned into a party, so she just played the some video games with a few other friends. She couldn't remember anything else though. Hanna couldn't remember how she got back home either. She sat up and reached out for her phone. It was almost 11, and she had a text from Emma, telling her to let her know when she was awake. Hanna sent Emma a quick text and laid back down. She placed a pillow over her head, hoping it would help the headache.
Hanna tried to think back to everything that happened last night. The last thing she remembered was losing a round of Mario Kart. Everything after that was gone. Hanna knew she must have had a few drinks though. What else could explain the way she was feeling? Hanna didn't know what would have prompted her to drink last night, but she knew that as soon as her parents realized she was awake, she was going to be in so much trouble. She decided to just stay here and put that off for as long as possible.
After awhile, Hanna heard her bedroom door open. She sighed. Here we go. Maybe if she just pretended to be asleep, her mom and dad would leave. She felt someone pull the pillow from her face.
"Hey, it's just me."
Hanna let out a sigh of relief when she heard her sister's voice. "Oh good." Hanna sat up and tried to look up at her sister, but the sun was so bright. Hanna covered her eyes with her hand. "Can you shut my curtain?"
Emma laughed. "Yeah." She pulled the curtains closed and turned on the lamp that was sitting on Hanna's desk. "Better?"
"Yeah, thanks."
Emma sat down on the bed next to her sister. "Still feeling pretty crappy?"
Hanna nodded. "Emma what happened last night?"
"You don't remember?"
Hanna shook her head.
"Geez, how much of that punch did you drink?"
"Punch?" Now that Emma said that, she did remember having several cups full. It was really good. "What does the punch have to do with it?"
"Hanna, the punch had alcohol in it."
"What? No," Hanna shook her head. "All the beer and stuff was in the fridge."
"Apparently some found its way into the punch bowl too."
Hanna's eyes went wide. "Emma…I had a lot of punch."
Emma raised her eyebrows at her sister. "Yeah I kinda figured that out when you puked all over my car."
Hanna covered her mouth with her hand. "Emma, I'm so sorry."
"It's fine." It wasn't really that big of a deal. Emma used her magic and had it cleaned up in about two seconds.
"What else happened?"
Emma told Hanna about her and Killian busting the party, finding her there, and brining her home.
"Emma I…I didn't know."
"I know you didn't. I could tell last night."
"Well what did you tell Mom and Dad?"
"The truth," Emma shrugged.
"Why…" Hanna moaned.
"Han you were passed out and reeked of alcohol. They were going to figure it out."
Hanna let her head drop into her hands. "They're going to kill me."
"I told them I didn't think you knew about the alcohol in the punch. I don't think they're too mad, just worried."
Emma looked up at her sister. "Sometimes that's even worse."
"Yeah you're right. You're basically screwed either way. Scoot over, we'll just lay here and see how long it takes them to come up here and check on us."
Hanna moved over to the other side of the bed and laid down next to her sister. "Maybe they'll forget we're even up here, and we can just hide out all day."
"Have you met our parents?" Emma laughed.
"Yeah you're right," Hanna rolled her eyes. "They'll probably be up here in five minutes."
"I give them two," Emma said with a grin
Hanna latched onto Emma's arm "Just don't leave me when they do come."
"Don't worry I'll protect you." Emma held onto Hanna's hand as they waited for their mom and dad.
