Neville was standing beside his Gran, as the ministry officials marked dead people's names. They said the work was completed and the monument will be placed on the following day's evening. It was still dark after they gone and in an hour or so. It will be early morning. A sunrise of freedom. However, it was destroyed by his coin heating up. He took out and saw the message. It read,
"Death eaters in castle, hurry. – Ginny."
He shared looks with other DA members who also read it. Standing in the middle, he called for everyone, "Guys, there are death eaters in caste. Come on." There were gasps and murmurs as they turned towards castle. But before they took a step, there were screams. They all were pointed by wands death eater's wands and lost theirs in a minute. One of the death eater said, "Now you all will witness how a loser the Potter is."
Ginny was alone in the Great Hall. Her heart was beating fast. She is expecting someone to come inside. What if they were gone searching for Harry? I have to protect him. She took a deep breath and called very clearly "Kreacher" "Who called Kreacher?" said the elf that popped in. "Kreacher! Thank merlin you are safe. Can you help me, please?" "Of course, Mistress Ginny." "Hear it clearly, Kreacher. This is Teddy, Harry's godson. You have to protect him. Go to... Uh the kitchens. Other elves will help. Once you got him safe, take care of him until I or Harry calls you." "Master Harry is here?" "Yes, Kreacher. But death eaters are searching for him. I have to distract them. Now go." "Yes, Mistress Ginny." Then hesitantly added "Be safe, Mistress Ginny." which brought a smile in the red head's face and disappeared with the young toddler. Ginny sighed in relief, spread Teddy's blanket on the head table, and kept some of her clothes that she had in a small pouch given by Hermione. She then lifted it in her hands just like carrying a baby. Just then, there were sounds of footsteps. She quickly grabbed her wand and pointed it towards the entrance. A spell came towards her, which she dodged. A sulky voice said, "Surrender, little girl or you will be punished." She grinned inwardly. "I won't, Malfoy." The death eater's group with all their captives came in. A death eater approached her with his wand out. "Put your wand away." "I won't again, Malfoy." "Drop the wand and come us to see your new hero's death." "Oh! How come you will find where he is? Some prophetic visions?" "Don't act smart girl now do as I say." "Ah! How many times I have to tell you? I WON'T MALFOY." "Do it or die in my hands." "Oh! The famous killing curse. I'm very eager to see it, you know."
Lucius got irritated at it and pointed it over the baby she carried. "No. Lucius not him too please." Cried Andromeda. "Oh Andy. You are here too. You see it's your own fault. You choose a mudblood over me and had a daughter rather than an heir of Noble House of Malfoy. Then you married her off to a filthy werewolf. The three were gone but not this one. So, I'm going to clean it up now." With that, he did the deadly curse. Every one was crying other than death eaters until Ginny cheers. "Oh! I didn't know killing curse wouldn't have effect in things without flesh. I may write it down on my DADA essay." She said as she dropped the pile of clothes down. The captives were gasping in surprise as death eaters were shouting "WHAT?" Malfoy sprinted towards Ginny only to be attacked by two wolves. The wolves snarling at him in a way that means fight. Everyone who had fought in first war gasped in shock or surprise. The wolves howled to get howls just outside the entrance. With that fight started. Wolf packs came in and took down death eaters. The captives who are released themselves or by wolf pack helped them to fight death eaters. Suddenly there is a scream "GINNY" from Molly. Everyone turned to see Lucius pointing his wand at Ginny. "Where is he?" he asked in a threatening tone.
"One of them is in the noisily silent place, and the other in the land to explore his own mind and heart." She said. George's head snapped up. He knew Fred called Hogwarts kitchen as noisily silent place and dorm room as land to explore one's own mind and heart. She is brilliant, he thought.
"What does it mean?" Lucius asked.
"If I will give you the answer, why should I place a riddle stupid?"
"How dare you?" he slapped her hard on face, which made her stumble and fell down.
Unknown to anyone, a boy with golden eyes wake up and disappeared as if the bed swallowed him whole just in time for the death eaters who searching for him to see.
Lucius walked over to the girl who had fallen on floor and flipped her, then made stand who couldn't stand well because of dizziness. "Now, stop pretending and tell me where he is?" he asked. She just smiled at him and closed her eyes. "Stand still and tell me" he is almost strangling her. Everyone else was trying to help but in no avail with the other death eaters around. Then he lifted both of them in air (with the help of an ancient charm that the dark lord used).
"Tell me now or die"
"How dare of you to touch her" said an icy cold voice, which is definitely Harry's. Everyone frantically searched him but there isn't any trace of him being there other than Lucius who tightened his hands on her neck and yelled, "Don't trick me. Where is he?" Everyone turned to see Ginny still eyes closed started to move her lips from which came Harry's voice.
"My last warning to you. Move away from her." Everyone took a step back in horror as Ginny opened her eyes. It is completely golden. Even Lucius seemed to move back from her. His hands left her neck yet without the charms support she floated in air. "You…can't… scare me" Ginny's lips made a smirk which looked like Harry's. Then he emerged out of her as if a ghost comes through something in flesh, while he snorted "Scare you" Both Harry and Ginny were laughing now. "You think we'll scare you" said Harry then offered his hand to her over which she kept hers and rising both their combined hands towards sky and summoning the death stick, small stone in his other hand and a cloak wrapping him from behind. Every death eater seemed to be scared of them even Lucius. They pointed the wand at him.
"Now hear us. We warn you if you ever come across in our life again then you'll start counting your last seconds." Then with a snap of his fingers he tied every death eater there together within an invisible circle. "Forget about what happened here and go to the place you last been in." With that all of the death eaters there had vanished. The people around them were lost of words as they landed in ground without any struggle and the stone and cloak disappeared and their eyes returned to normal. Before one of the people in the Great Hall can form a word, a soft trilling heard and a stone pathway appeared in the centre of the Hall. All of them looked confused at it, until Ginny whispered "Veil of Death". Harry looked past everyone to see the morning light spreading slowly. "Wow! The dream is real." He thought. "Master!" the same voice rang in his ear but looking at others he found no one else hearing it.
"Can you ask Mistress to stand before the gateway?"
"Who" he thought back.
"Your mate, master. Your love of life." He asked Ginny to do so. As she stood there she saw the veil glowed and a ghostly figure came out saying, "Gin-Gin"
"Fred" she cried as she tackled him. "I'll take it you missed me" he joked. "Idiot! How dare you be careless and got yourself killed?" she stopped and asked, "You're not dead?"
"Of course I am, Ginny. I'm just allowed to see you all one last time. There was so many coming out too." "Huh?" True to his words there were so many ghost like people are there. When all four directions are completely enveloped by the visitors, Harry heard Death asking them to go to their loved ones. They disappeared. Just then he heard "Master! Can you stand before the gateway?" However when he stood there someone walked through it straight into his arms and fell down. "My orders are finished, Master. I'll receive them at sunset." With that the veil disappeared. He turned the person and gasped as he took in the face.
