A/N: I totally cut the ending of the last chapter off. so if you want to you can go back a chapter and read the last four lines. if you don't want to it's okay it doesn't change much of what happened. This chapter is just a teeny bit longer, but that is only because I remembered just today that It has been two weeks since I have updated. Enjoy!

Cross Drills

Tori

I watched as Jade used some chalk to draw a large cross on the floor. I marveled at the muscles in her upper arms as she drew, because she was in a plank, with her injured foot raised from the floor, one arm supporting her, while the other drew.

Jade didn't even sweat. She didn't shake or quiver. I bit my lip imagining myself lick at every rippling muscle that bulged as she did this. This girl was strong, but I had to drive those thoughts out of my mind. Jade was straight, and she had a man.

She reached for her crutches and righted herself, not once letting her knee drop down on to the ground then let out a breath I suppose she had been holding in order to maintain the strength in her core. I looked down at what she had drown. "So What do I do?" I asked.

"you are gonna jump clockwise double legged," She said reaching into her pocket. "Then when I blow this whistle, I want you to go counter clockwise. When I blow again I want you to do it in an "X" pattern. Okay?"

I nodded and stood off to one square. "Okay, I'm ready."

"Begin." she said then sat down at the bench/ She was a weird Teenager, she was never on her phone like everyone else I knew who were always glued to the screen. Her eyes never left me as I jumped. She put the whistle to her lips and blew and I began to go counter clockwise. "Faster Turtle."

"You know?" I said between pants, "You'd be a great coach."

"I'd rather go pro first." She said leaning back in the bench resting on her hands. She blew on the whistle and I began the "x" pattern.

"What does this do?" I asked in all seriousness.

"IT improves your agility, stamina and reaction time." She said. "Rest… drink some water we are going to do it all with the right leg. We kept going with the drills a while. each interval going for longer time. Then Sikowitz came.

He set me up with the machine for swinging drills, and turned to Jade. I watched as she talked to him, getting increasingly more upset. A ball hit my shoulder, and I was knocked on to my present and I made myself focus. soon there was nothing but me and the machine I was in a zone no one could reach me in. This, right here was the place I should be.

Something happened to me every time I got in my zone and each time I fell deeper in love with the game. I hit one last ball and waited for more to come, when I realized the electronic opponent had run out of balls. "Excellent." Sikowitz said turning off the ball machine. "Now Tori I want to work on your serve accuracy. We already know your Aces are great, so now I want you to visualize and Aim. Jade can't run, I want you to serve so that she may be able to swing it, she should not have to over exert or extend herself to reach your ball, she should be able to send it back at you."

I looked at him. I didn't know that I could control where the ball landed after it hit my racket. This was some kind of Physics thing. I sucked at Physics. I swallowed thickly and watched as Jade stood on the other side of the court, all the way to the back and waited bored.

I began to serve. None of the balls went anywhere near where she was. She yawned, and Sikowitz threw out suggestions, but they just didn't make any sense at all. I groaned and tossed the racket on the floor. "Alright, Take a break. We will try this again in ten minutes, I got to use the potty."

He left the court and Jade made her way over to me slowly. "Pick up your racket." she said.

"I'm on a break." I said.

"Pick up your fucking racket." Jade growled. I sighed and did as I was told. she hobbled behind me, and dropped her crutches. she hopped over to me and held on to my waist. "Okay," she whispered sending a tingle down my spine. We want to hit the center line, Right where it ends. Look at it."

I looked at it and swallowed as her hands tightened momentarily around my waist as she steadied herself behind me. She took the hand with the racket with her right hand and continued to whisper. "Picture that bitch Aliza standing there with her stupid smirk." She tapped my left hand and wrapped her arm around me again. "Now Launch the ball." She said.

I did as I was told as she pulled my arm back and let go hopping away from me as I hit the ball Landing directly on the center line, a little closer than I intended it to, but not bad. I smiled. I turned back to her and saw that she was on the floor, a pained look on her face, but a smile lingering. "I did it!"

She smirked. "Now do you think I'll get to play today?"

I reached out to help her up. "Okay, You stay here, and I'll go to the other side."

She nodded as she took back her Crutches and racket and waited for me to get started.

Jade

Was I imagining things? Or did she just seem to melt into my body? I knew now how to get her motivated I supposed, she liked to be touched.

I was never one to liked being handled, but… I couldn't even lie to myself. I really liked touching her. I felt tingles still from where her body was pressed against mine. The reaction of her body when I put my hand on her abs. It was… I don't even know how to describe, that rolling I felt under my fingertips. It was as if her entire body was purring.

How could she concentrate?

Here I was way after it happened and I was missing one out of every five balls she launched at me, fairly accurately I might add. After sikowitz returned we continued a while, and Cat arrived.

'Hi!" She said happily.

"Hey Kitten." I said dropping my racket.

"Hi Cat." Tori said reaching for the water. "What's up?"

"I was wondering if we could do something this weekend, just the three of us." she said.

I eyed her dubiously, "Like what?"

"I don't know… Robbie is going away this weekend, and well I want to hang out with you anyway." She said with a small shrug as if to dismiss my doubts.

"Um, Okay." Tori said after swallowing a big gulp of water. A droplet of water trailed down her chin. I licked my lips automatically before she wiped it away.

"Jade, can I talk to you for a second?" Cat said and pulled me away from Tori. "What was that?"

I looked at her as if she had grown a second head. "What was what?"

"That with Tori," She said. I quirked a brow not getting what she was asking me. "Do you like her?'

"Where the hell is this coming from Cat?" I asked laughing.

"She was drinking that water and you nearly ate her alive with your eyes."

"I have a boyfriend!" I said indignantly.

"Uh… He is a douche." Cat stated.

I rolled my eyes. "Well she looked hot… and- and..."

"And sexy…" Catt supplied.

"Yeah, and- NO!" I said and looked away from Cat toward the girl. I have never allowed myself to get distracted by problems of biology before… this… this was getting out of hand. "I'm not gay."

"You're not straight." Cat said with a smirk. "You don't know what you are because you are never around anyone you want to bone." I groaned and sat down. "Admit it, you Hated Aliza because she could touch Tori like that didn't you?"

"No…" Did I? I looked at Tori who was running over her line drills. I sighed, "Yeah."

"I know what we're gonna do this weekend!" Cat said Jumping up from the bench beside me. "Oh Tori! Sleepover Jade's hose cause she is all broken and doesn't want to go anywhere."

"Um… " she looked over at me. "Really?"

I gaped at Cat. "I've never had a sleepover before!"

"You haven't?" Tori gaped back. "Oh now we have to do it. It's a girly right of passage."

Cat giggled and clapped. "I'll take care of everything Jadey, don't worry."

I pulled her closer. "Why my house?"

"Because your house is awesome! " then she looked back toward TOri who was gulping down some water, this time I traced a water droplet all the way between her perky little breasts. "And you may get to see the girl of your dreams half dressed and on your bed." Cat whispered. I glared at my best friend. but her words made me tingle just a little.

"Okay, but you're doing all the work. I'm broken remember?" I grumped halfheartedly.

Cat jumped up and down clapping perkily. "Of course!"

A/N: So what did you think? I am going to try to update this story every other Thursday. You will see why once my schedule is set well but as of right now this is the only Jori story I am updating because it is easiest to do it takes much less research than the episodes and commitment issues. I just got wifi back at home, but I am never EVER home long enough to write, so I satisfy myself with writing at work. I hope to see you in two weeks, tell me what you think. don't hold back.
