A/N: Just a little filler chapter. I needed to set up the US open chapter because I was watching Venus and Serena the other day and I wanted to send Jade and Tori there OKAY! Enjoy.

Dot Drills

Tori

"Hey Vega, I have one more drill for you before Sikowitz gets here." Jade said placing five plastic dots the size of coasters on to the floor. Four in a two by three rectangle and one in the middle.

"Okay, what do I do?" I said putting my water bottle down and coming closer.

"Right foot on green dot, left on the yellow I want you to jack and jump both feet on the middle dot." She said standing on the narrow side of the rectangle. "Then you are gonna jump your feet out on the red and blue dots on the other side, then go backwards."

I begin jumping my legs together to the center and apart on to the other set of dots. Back and forth about ten times. It was much harder than it sounded. "So, how come you haven't' ever had a sleepover."

She looked at me as if she had been lost in thought and shrugged. "I'm always here. Not much time to be a little girl."

"I always wonder when you're a kid like that if it's the parents ambitions that are driving the kids… you know?"

"Bring the legs together… hop the dots." She said. Her face was thoughtful. I did as I was told ski jumping the dots. "I love being on the court. I feel awkward everywhere else."

"You've never had a boyfriend or any other kind of kid relationship before now?" I asked.

"Turtle… if you can ask me stupid questions it means you aren't working hard enough… End the drills on your left foot."

She switched it up on me and I fell as I tried to comply. "Shit…."

A laughed bubbled up out of her as Sikowitz walked into the court. "Big NEWS, big news!"

the two of us turned to face him. "What's up?" I asked.

"We are going to the US Open!" Jade's Jaw drops. "I got tickets to the women's Quarterfinals, and the Semis. and I am going to try to get a set for the finals."

"You're shitting me!" Jade said her entire face alight with the news.

"I shit you not! I thought it would cheer my star pupil up. Jade's face transformed, and I had never seen something so beautiful. God I had it bad.

Jade

I sat in my couch watching Cat make everything ready for our girl night. Not even her incessant buzzing could make the buzz of flying to New York to take in what the US open is like away.

I didn't even think that watching Turtle in Short shorts and a tank top and her sleeping next to me as was Cat's plan could penetrate my psyche.

"You can sleep in the middle, and she and I will flank you on your bed. It's huge." she said and finally I blinked.

"No one but me sleeps in my bed." I said.

"Well you said that you couldn't sleep on the floor because it was hard to get up to wazz at night. You and Tori HAVE to sleep right next to each other."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because she's single and you want her."

"I'm not single Cat." I said.

"Bullshit…" Cat said and walked over to pop some popcorn.

I sighed and then I remembered this time next week I'd be in New York and a smile grew on my lips again. "Besides, Tori and I have plenty of opportunity to sleep on the same bed when we get to New York Next week. I said absently.

"What?"Cat said.

"We'll probably share the same room anyway." I said pulling my leg up on the coffee table.

"You should book this room… and you should make sure is one with only one bed!" Cat said.

"Cat, I got this." I said. "I don't need her in my bed to make her want me okay?"

"No, because she already wants you." Cat shrugged.

The doorbell rang and I stood up and headed to open the door. Standing there is Tori. Her casual clothes always seemed to be so understatedly sexy. She smiled and walked into the house showing me her back which was bare. "Ready for girl night?"

I took a deep breath. "As I'll ever be."
