Emma babbled, watching the twins prepare for the finals.
Luke and Oliver were doing last minute practices. Oliver told Luke this would get his mind on something else for a change and for once, it actually did.
Lisa and Beau were prepared as well as Mugman and Margo.
The next day, the family heads off to Huntington Oaks for the finals. Luke was silent the whole ride there. Luna had her arm around Luke. Once they got there, Luke cried so hard, he threw up all over Luna. The family saw this.
Charity took Luke to the hotel room while Luan helped Luna clean up.
Luke sniffed as Charity gave him a ginger ale to drink and sat with him as he took a nap.
Meanwhile, Brandy walked alone.
"You're upset Luke doesn't want you around anymore?" Skylia asked.
Brandy nods.
Meanwhile, Savannah finds the others.
"Okay, we need to support Brandy, he needs us." Savannah says.
"I guess so" Emila says as Bill and Jason nodded.
"Brandy will win, I know it." Savannah says.
"No, no, no!" Luke screamed, not wanting them around, knowing Brandy would have a better chance at winning. At this point, he wouldn't have anyone to cheer for him.
"Luke, we're here for you!" Leni says as the siblings nod.
"I heard my friends weren't going to support me…." Luke sniffed.
His friends were there. "Who said that?" Colleen asked.
"You're on his side, aren't you?" Luke hissed.
"No!" Colleen says.
Lisa frowned, feeling betrayed.
Luke just walked off. "Go support Lisa. She obviously needs you more!" Luke hissed.
"No, you're the bigger priority." Lori says. Luke frowned and went to find Oliver.
"So, what's your cool idea?" Savannah asked as Alem tuber took out fireworks.
"Neat!" Alex says.
"Cheaters!" Remy says.
"What, can't I make an epic entrance?' Alem tuber says.
"Cool it, Remy…" Colleen says. Remy walked off, mad.
"Whose side are you on?" Jack asked Colleen.
Colleen thinks about this and gets stressed.
"Hey, Margo. Sorry, Luke needs me." Lynn says.
"How is he doing?" Margo asked.
"Broken. He threw up all over Luna as soon as we arrived in Huntington Oaks." Lynn says.
"Poor guy…" Margo says.
"Okay, you can do this, no one is out to get you" Bill says as the Cosmic buddies get a shock, the dressing room was destroyed.
"My power ups, my costumes, all ruined!" Angry Luigi says as Jason sees that Luke's costumes were fine.
"Good luck winning." Mike laughed as he and his gang walked off.
"We'll show them! How long till I can punch them?" Alem tuber asked as Angry Luigi tears up.
"Maybe Emila can fix this." Savannah says.
The show was beginning as Luke just ran off into his dressing room.
"This is it, ladies and gentlemen, the season 5 finals!" Victoria says.
"Tonight's show will consist of 4 rounds of competition. Round 1 will be a Best Of High School Musical round, where each of our four teams must perform a song from any of the three High School Musical movies. Round 2 will be a Retro Rewind round, where our four teams must perform a song from the 1950's to the 1990's, and each team must have picked a song from any of those decades to perform. Round 3 will be a Season 5 Showcase round, where each of our teams will pick their favorite performance from Season 5. And our fourth and final round will be a Freestyle Free-For-All round, where our four teams will show us their final audition." James says.
"Remember, no bribery and no sabotaging the other contestants in any way. Breaking these rules will result in immediate elimination, no questions asked." Victoria says.
"Coming up first, Lisa Huntington and Beau Yates!" Victoria says.
Fans cheer as they begin their performance of "You Are The Music In Me" from High School Musical 2.
Luke was backstage with Oliver in custom "Audition Academy" outfits that were designed by Oliver.
Lucy sniffed. "I think I should leave." Lucy says, seeing Cuphead. But security guards were watching Cuphead.
"Luke, listen, I want you back…" Chalice says.
"Yeah, Lucy, I'm sorry." Cuphead says.
"If you're so sorry, why were you using me?" Lucy asked.
"And why did you make out with Cagney Carnation, breaking my heart?" Luke asked.
"He forces himself on me." Chalice says.
"I needed a partner." Cuphead says.
Luke thinks about this and starts to tear up. Lucy looks like she would also cry.
Chalice kissed him. Luke looks at her.
Lisa and Beau finished as the crowd cheered for them.
Luke and Oliver waited for their turn.
"Coming up next, the stars of the show, two graduates of Audition Academy, Luke Huntington and Oliver Fox!" Victoria says.
The boys appear on stage, smiling. Girls screamed for them.
They then perform "High School Musical" from High School Musical 3.
The crowd was loving this performance.
Mugman stress cracked upon seeing this, but Margo manages to get him to calm down.
Soon, Luke and Oliver finished their performance. Fans scream as they both leave the stage.
Margo and Mugman were next and they performed "I Want It All" from High School Musical 3.
Fans cheered for them. Luke was watching them perform, and can see his confidence plummet. He saw his friends turn to see Margo and Mugman perform. Luke just looked away.
Brandy sees Bill clapping for the duo and frowns.
Luke just stormed to his dressing room.
"Coming up next are the twins who claim to be stars in their own right, Brandy and Randy Waterlash!" Victoria says.
The crowd cheered for the twins as they came out.
"Woo!" Savannah says.
The twins performed "Get'cha Head In The Game" from the first High School Musical movie. Fans screamed as the whole arena went wild.
"Brandy and Randy! Brandy and Randy!" The crowd chanted.
Luke was blocking out the whole thing. He knew he lost his support system to them. He was tuning them all out.
Lucy was holding him. Luke knew he was going to lose. He just knew it.
"You won't lose." Lucy says.
"Luke is a worthless performer who has no talent and the crowd hates Luke…" Luke says as he still tunes it all out.
Lucy tried to read a poem to him. Luke looked at Lucy sadly.
He tunes out everyone but Lucy as he dresses in his neon 1980's-themed costume.
"When we say party, you say cosmic buddies!" Alem tuber says "Party!"
"Cosmic buddies!" The fans cheered.
"Party!" Alem tuber says
"Cosmic buddies!" Fans cheered.
"Party!" Alem tuber says.
"Cosmic buddies!" Fans cheered as Alem tuber did a stage dive.
Savannah cheered. Jason sighed.
Luke's friends come to see him. But he tunes them out.
"Friends betrayed Luke…" Luke hissed.
"Colleen?" Lonnie asked.
"You're all on their side!" Luke shouted.
"Is this because we danced to Mugman's song?" Lonnie asked.
Luke hissed as he knew they would all migrate to their side.
There was a break. Lucy sighed as Lynn felt bad. Oliver saw Luke rocking back and forth.
"Luke, we believe in you." Leni says.
"I lost already…" Luke says.
"No, you haven't." Lori says.
"If your friends won't cheer you on, know you have Luce-Change." Luna says. "And us."
"THEY BETRAYED ME AND WENT TO THEIR SIDE!" Luke sobbed. "HOW COULD THEY?! JUST HOW?!"
"I need to talk to Margo…" Lynn says.
"Not Mugman and Margo. Them." Luan says.
"No way. Remy hates Brandy for some reason." Luna says. "And Colleen made them side with the twins…"
That hurt Luke. Hurt him horribly.
"I don't think Brandy or Randy has intentions to hurt you." Leni says .
"Okay, we need to find Colleen." Lisa says.
Luke laid on the ground. "Luke's friends hate him…" He says.
"No, they don't…" Oliver says as he tries to reassure Luke. Luke looks at Oliver and sniffs.
They look around and find Skylia, Luke's friends, and the kids tied in magic binds and tape on their mouths.
"What happened?" Lynn asked after removing the tape.
"Colleen pulled a Chrissy." Bill says.
"What does that mean?" Leni asked as Luna froze and heard Colleen moaning.
She finds her forcing herself on Brandy, who was sobbing. She pinned him down as she rode him, waiting for his climax.
Luke hissed and punched Colleen so hard, she went into a coma. The coma is so deep, she will never awaken from it.
Brandy was sobbing.
"What happened?" Lana asked.
"She just raped him." Lola says.
Brandy sniffed as Skylia feels guilty for not saving him.
Luke leaves the scene, still harboring betrayed feelings.
Soon Margo and Mugman took the stage as they performed "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley.
Luke didn't want to hear it once his friends were freed. He stormed off, betrayed. He could do nothing but look at them.
Lonnie looks guilty. So does everyone else.
"I don't know what to think about any of this." Luke says.
Brandy shook as he didn't want to go out there. But he knew he had to go out on stage soon.
Lisa and Beau get ready to go on. They soon go on stage and perform "Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In" by The 5th Dimension.
The crowd was in awe of their coordination. Fans cheer loudly.
"Way to go!" Leni cheered.
Luke paced backstage as Oliver watched him.
"We're next, Oliver." Luke says.
"Hey, if they don't wanna cheer you on, that's on them. You're a wonderful dancer, phenomenal singer, brilliant actor, and so many other great things. Don't let the choices everyone else makes affect who you know you are." Oliver says. "We're going to go on that stage and show everybody who we are and what we're about!"
Luke smiles and high-fives Oliver. "That we are!" He says.
Soon, Beau and Lisa finish their performance and go backstage.
"Ready for this?" Oliver asked Luke.
Luke nodded. "Let's do this!" He says.
"And now, two guys who say it takes two to make things go right…two stars who are truly out of sight…Luke Huntington and Oliver Fox!" Victoria says.
Girls scream and cheer as the boys appear in the neon 1980's outfits Oliver designed.
The two of them smile and begin to do their performance of "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock.
Girls are going absolutely insane for Luke and Oliver as they breakdance and do a few moves they learned from each other. They finished by moonwalking and standing back-to-back with their hands in the air.
A lot of girls fainted with smiles on their faces. The rest of the crowd went nuts for the two of them.
The siblings cheer them on.
Backstage, Luke's face broke into a grin.
"You were fantastic out there!" Charity says to Luke. "And Oliver, your designs were just phenomenal!"
"Yeah, they looked good!" Leni says and sits down. If Oliver was phenomenal, then why was she even a part of the family? The only thing she was good at was fashion and Oliver made hers look like child's play, which means her siblings wouldn't want her around.
"Leni, I believe Oliver was asking you something, honey." Charity says.
"What?" Leni asked.
"Well…what would you say to working together sometime? My designs may be nice, but I saw your work, and it was pretty incredible! I love the colors you used for Luke's Fantastic Fourteen outfits and the outfit he wore to prom was nice, too. Think you could teach me a few tricks of the trade?" Oliver asked with a smile. Leni then smiled at Oliver.
"I'd be totes honored!" Leni says. "Let's talk after the show."
"Of course." Oliver says, shaking Leni's hand.
Brandy frowned, knowing he'd lose like he loses at everything.
"You're on!" Savannah says.
"What's the point? I can't win. Luke and Oliver are perfect at everything." Brandy says.
"Just try your best, okay?" Savannah says.
"Fine." Brandy says.
"Coming up next, Randy and Brandy Waterlash!" James says.
Fans cheer for them. The twins then perform "Jump Around" by House Of Pain.
Girls screamed for them.
Backstage, Luke and Oliver put on the new versions of their custom baseball uniforms. Leni designed these uniforms for them and the team on them was known solely as "The Audition All-Stars".
Mugman gets ready with Margo.
"The question is…what is our favorite performance from this season?" Margo asked him.
Mugman thinks. He then remembers a performance that was done on an unaired episode.
"Margo, my dear, do you remember our performance of 'September' by Earth, Wind, And Fire?" Mugman asked.
"Yes! That performance was at a live season 5 show that wasn't on TV!" Margo says, smiling.
"Shall we do that one?" Mugman asked Margo. Margo grinned and nodded.
Soon, the twins concluded their performance as the crowd cheered.
"Thank you! You're all invited to my party if I win!" Alem tuber said and flew off.
Luke and Oliver were striking poses as Luna and Lincoln were taking some pictures of them.
Brandy frowned, seeing their happy family, and walked away to prepare for round three.
Luke sighed as his thoughts turned to his graduation day that would come in late May.
"Luke, how would you like to come with me to my movie shoot tomorrow?" Lola asked. Luke's eyes lit up.
"Right, Lola's in a Barbie movie. Gross, I hate Barbie…" Lana says.
"Yay! I'd love to!" Luke says.
"Wait, what? Oh, um, this is a surprise…you never wanted to attend my stuff." Lola says. "Why are you so interested?"
"I want to get my mind off of that two-timer!" Luke growled and hissed.
"Who?" Lola asked Luna. Luna then tells her what had been going on.
Lola feels bad for Luke, knowing he's dealing with the fact that he's lonely.
Cuphead was jealous of this and crossed his arms.
Lucy was thinking of sending Luke on a date with someone, but wasn't sure who. She decided to not worry about it right now.
Luke was getting an interview. Victoria saw the forced smile on Luke's face.
"I'm lonely…" Luke says sadly.
"You really wanna know why I ditched Luke? It's simple. Lucy ruined everything. She invited you all to my birthday. She keeps following Luke around." Chalice says
"Lucy had a bad week and we were all busy, so she could only rely on Luke to help her. She's fragile. She's been through just as much as Luke has. You have to realize that." Lynn says.
"Honestly, she's too overprotective." Chalice says. "And if you guys get Lucy away from Luke, I'll truly go back to him. I'm head over heels for him. Oh, also, that kiss with Cagney Carnation doesn't count. He's a male Poison Ivy." Chalice says.
"Okay, we'll do that. Anything to get Luke un-lonely." Lisa says.
"What about her bond with Luke?" Leni asked.
"It needs to go down a bit." Lisa says with no emotion.
"I can't let you do that. I'd rather have Luke and Lucy be siblings than Luke getting back with a two timer who can't accept Lucy for who she is!" Leni says.
"Your choice, bye!" Chalice says and flies off as a ghost.
Luke was crying during his interview. Victoria had her arm around him.
"She doesn't want me to see Lucy anymore! She thinks she's overprotective of me, but the truth is that she's not like that all the time." Luke sniffed.
"It's okay." Victoria says.
"She just wants me to b-be happy…she's one of many siblings who make me happy! She would never hurt me, and would always make sure I was okay when others hurt me…and she helps plan my birthdays and celebrations when everyone else is too busy to get involved. She also takes care of me when the others are busy. But they can't see that! They can only talk about how overprotective she is!" Luke sobbed. "And they can't see that I'm lonely and miserable!"
Victoria is just in disbelief at this point, hardly believing that the siblings were so mean to a sibling who just makes Luke happy, among a few other siblings that do make him happy the way that Luna, Lisa, Lincoln, and Leni do.
"Oh, right, Lucy." Lori says as Lola leaves to take a call.
"Yeah? Oh, Luke? He's here and I think he can appear in a cameo." Lola whispered on the phone. "Of course I'm alone. I know how to avoid eavesdropping."
Later, Mugman had an interview.
"I feel great!" Mugman says.
"If we win, it's okay. if we lose, we lose. We'll definitely enter next season. It's actually fun!" Margo says.
Later, Lisa and Beau had an interview. They had the same philosophy as Mugman and Margo, also planning to enter again next season.
With the twins, their interview began.
"So how are you feeling?" Victoria asked the twins.
"Awesome!" Randy says. Brandy looks down.
Later, the third round gets underway. This time, Brandy and Randy are first.
They come out and do their "Level Up" performance for their Season 5 showcase performance. The crowd was loving it.
Lisa gets ready with a smile. She and Beau knew exactly which performance they were doing.
The twins soon finished as the crowd cheered for them.
They walked offstage. Beau and Lisa appeared once they were gone, then they started their performance of "Promiscuous" by Nelly Furtado & Timbaland from the unaired Season 5 episode.
Fans cheered. Lisa soon finished as fans cheered. She was in first place so far.
Luke looks away as the siblings cheer Lisa on. Luke marches off, feeling unsupported and thinking his performance won't be good.
Remy was mad for other reasons. Not because of the twins and not because of the show entirely.
Luke's entire demeanor changed when he saw how upset his friend was. "Remy? Why are you mad?" Luke asked.
"Do you happen to know what today is?!" Remy asked, upset.
Margo and Mugman got ready. They were looking forward to doing this particular performance.
They then take the stage and begin their "September" performance.
Fans cheered for them. And when they finished, they stuck the landing when they turned cartwheels across the stage.
Backstage, Luke looked at Remy.
"Today is your 14th birthday." Luke says.
"Yes!" Remy says, upset. Luke feels bad for his friend. Because of the show, everyone was preparing for victory celebrations, not Remy's Fantastic Fourteen. Remy sadly walks away.
Luke and Oliver soon went on and did their "Swing" performance.
Fans cheered for the boys and girls went wild for them. They smiled at this.
Before the fourth round, Luke catches up to Remy. Remy hadn't come back into the show venue.
"Go away! You don't care about me!" Remy cried.
Luke looks down. "I'm really sorry I forgot about your birthday." Luke says to Remy.
"It isn't just you who forgot!" Remy sobbed.
"You never told Brandy." Luke says.
"Of course I didn't." Remy says. "I know our other friends forgot, too!"
"They're planning my party." Luke says.
"Oh, you're so selfish!" Remy says, storming off in tears. "You're selfish! I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN AT YOUR STUPID PARTY!"
And with that, Remy was gone, angry at Luke and the others.
Victoria saw her son leave.
(Yes, Remy is her adopted son.)
"Remy, sweetheart, why are you mad?" Victoria says.
"It's obvious my friends care about Luke more than they ever cared about me!" Remy sobbed.
She felt bad and embraced her crying son.
Savannah overhears and goes off.
"Guys?" she says looking for her friends.
"Oh, I'm heading home." Bill says.
"I'm busy." Jason says, voting for Luke as Emila was reading.
"Remy's birthday is today." Savannah says. "We need to do something."
"What if it's a trap? He hates me." Angry Luigi says.
"It's not. But even if it is, we got your back." Emila says.
"We can use some magic." Savannah says.
Emila nodded and flew off.
"While Emila does that, I need your help. Look, Remy hates me, but if this goes well, he won't. I need you to get gifts. I'll take care of the rest after my turn." Angry Luigi says.
"Okay, what will happen there?" Luke asked.
"Well, it's last minute, but wanna be in the sequel to my movie?" Lola asked. "They need you for a post credit scene."
"Yes!" Luke says, excited to be in a movie.
Lucy walked by. "Sigh. Today has been horrible. Everyone is calling me overprotective and a freak and that TV show Lincoln watches wants me on an episode." Lucy says.
"Ace Savvy or the ghost one?" Lola asked
"The ghost one. They won't leave me alone. They keep harassing me." Lucy says.
"You're becoming famous by being Luke's sibling. It's natural." Lola says.
"I'm not like Luke. I don't like too much fame and they keep following me." Lucy says.
"Luke took care of your little problem, Lucy." Charity says.
"Sorry you had to go through that. No one should be treated like that." Lori says.
Meanwhile, Jason arrived at the supermarket as he got a jug of syrup and put it in a gift box, then headed out.
Bill was working on something as it was a robot butler.
Savannah was baking Remy's favorite cake.
"I hope Stephen doesn't kill me for this." Savannah says.
Emila looks for a place to have the party at. She sees a lake house and chants a spell, using magic to set everything up.
Remy sadly sat in the front row, watching the fourth round start. The twins were up.
"Ladies and gentlemen this song goes to a very special birthday boy." Angry Luigi says. "A very special birthday boy who is 14 today!"
Remy sniffed, wondering what they would do.
They performed a tribute song for Remy. During it, Alem tuber carried his brother with a single finger.
"No way!" A guy says as Alem tuber lifts his brother with his feet while doing a handstand as they soon finish as fireworks shoot up, spelling "Happy Birthday, Remy!"
The twins high five as Angry Luigi leaped on his brother's shoulder and raised his fist up as Alem tuber launched him up as he does a mid air spin jump and landed.
Fans cheer, tossing flowers and money.
"Way to go!" James says as an airship flies by.
"Time for the real fun to begin! Catch you guys later!" Alem tuber says and dashes off.
Alem tuber rushed and saw Begmax's ship.
"Begmax is back? Sweet, time to fight! Oh, Begmax, come out and play!" Alem tuber says.
Begmax sees this. "That Alem tuber will pay." Begmax says. He sent his men.
Alem tuber kicked Aquashooter, leaped up and shot a blast at Flameshooter, and punched Speedyquick.
He flew to the ship.
"Brandy, that was amazing!" Remy says as Brandy looks confused.
"Huh?" Brandy asked.
"Unlike Luke, you aren't so selfish…" Remy says.
"If you had told me, Mom would have taken you for pancakes or something." Brandy says.
"I guess I was just…so mad…I hate them! I hate those people I called friends!" Remy sobbed. "They only cared about Luke! They never cared about me!"
"I guess we're both in Luke's shadow." Brandy says sadly.
"I TOLD THEM MY BIRTHDAY WAS COMING! I TOLD THEM FOR WEEKS! BUT NOOOO….THEY CARE ABOUT THIS STUPID THING FOR LUKE! THEY NEVER THOUGHT TO REMEMBER!" Remy shouted.
"I know that feeling. They ditch me for Luke, too. My feelings never really mattered." Angry Luigi says.
Remy goes off to find his mom, wanting to just go home and cry. Aside from the performance he just saw, the rest of his birthday had been horrible.
Angry Luigi got a phone call and took out a Wing Cap, turned into Wing Angry Luigi, and flew, grabbing Remy and flew him to the lake house before landing.
"Surprise!" Jason, Bill, Savannah, and Skylia say. "Happy birthday, Remy!"
Remy was stunned. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Is…is this…for me?" He asked.
Angry Luigi nods. Remy hugs Brandy.
Meanwhile, Mugman and Margo came on and did their routine to "She's Got Me Dancing" by Tommy Sparks. The crowd loved their dancing.
Lucy looks for Luke. "Luke?" She asked.
"I'm a horrible friend!" Luke sobbed. "A horrible friend! And Brandy stole him from me!"
"He's doing what you and your other friends failed to do! You couldn't remember Remy's birthday even once today!" Luna tells him.
"Why did it have to be on my day?" Luke asked. Luna snapped again.
"Because Remy was born on this day! But you're too selfish and too full of yourself to realize that you lost a friend because all you cared about was this! You lost Remy because you couldn't make time to acknowledge his 14th birthday! And you should feel like a horrible friend! And so should your other friends!" Luna shouted.
Luke was finally starting to realize he was in the wrong here.
Lisa gets ready. She and Beau then go on stage and perform "Firework" by Katy Perry.
The crowd loved this. A lot.
Remy just looked down as he stared at the floor in the lake house.
"What's wrong?" Savannah asked.
"My friends…even my own mother forgot!" Remy sobbed. "I just can't believe it!"
"I doubt your mother would forget. She's doing her job. Going on these tours is probably quite the hassle. I'm sure she remembers." Savannah says as Luke dragged Remy.
"Luke has a surprise for you. Oh, as for these friend stealers…" Luke hissed and blew wind at them, blowing them into the lake. But Remy just looked at Luke, in tears.
"They were only doing what you guys failed to do for me! I told you all for weeks that my birthday was coming and not to forget! But you and the others were too busy to care!" Remy cried, feeling hurt.
"I know. Don't remind me, but I've had worse issues. Beside, after the show, I'll make it all up to you. I've really been a horrible friend to you." Luke says.
Angry Luigi was drowning as He crossed his arms. Luke ruined the party they were giving Remy.
Luke took him to Lush Rooftop as confetti fell on him.
"Happy birthday, Remy!" His friends say with gifts.
"W-What?!" Remy was surprised by this.
"We made and got you some gifts." Colleen says, who somehow recovered from her coma.
There was food and drinks. Remy couldn't believe it. His friends actually remembered his birthday.
With Victoria, she felt like a horrible mother. She had work on her son's birthday. What horrible luck!
"I can't believe I forgot my own child's birthday…" she says. She got an idea and rushed off to the party Luke was hosting for Remy.
The lake house collapsed and the kids were trapped under it as Angry Luigi was out cold.
Jason tried to free himself as Emila was not awake. Bill was not feeling too good.
With Victoria, she saw her son crying with his friends. It broke her heart.
"She wouldn't even bring up my birthday on her show!" Remy sobbed. "She doesn't love me!"
"Oh, crap, I gotta perform!" Luke says but sees that the show was being hosted at Remy's party.
"Awww, she's hosting the show at your party! See, she didn't forget…" Lonnie says.
"Wait, where is Brandy?' Luna asked.
"I don't care." Luke says and goes to get ready. Victoria looks down at her son.
"You're hosting the show for my 14th birthday?! Thanks, Mom!" Remy says "Do I get to choose the winner?"
"Of course, my sweet Remy." Victoria says.
"I'm going home, this is just plain favoritism." Alem tuber says.
Soon, Luke and Oliver come on stage with smiles on their faces.
They start their performance of "Get The Party Started" by Pink. They had practiced this routine for a while, just having it ready to use it in the finals.
Fans cheer and dance along.
"Those are the winners! Luke and Oliver!" Remy says with a smile.
Lisa frowned. Her performance meant nothing. All those months basically meant nothing when the host's son can just choose.
"Honey, are you sure you're being fair to the other contestants?" Victoria says. "What did I teach you about not leaving everyone else out?"
"Luke's the best. We all know that." Remy says.
"What did I teach you, Remington?" Victoria asked her son.
"To give others a chance." Remy says.
"At least give the other teams a bit of credit and something to look forward to." Victoria says. "I raised you to be kind."
"I guess they can get some money or something." Remy says.
Alem tuber crashed through the lake house and tossed the others out.
"Let me guess, Luke tried to kill you?" Alem tuber asked.
"The cake's ruined." Savannah says
"Well, we lost Remy and Luke totally cheated. Come on, loser." Alem tuber says to his brother, heading home.
"What about Remy's party?" Angry Luigi asked.
"He only cared about you cause he had no one else. He's probably going back to hating you now and we need to plan on stopping Begmax since I lost." Alem tuber says.
"So what now?" Angry Luigi asked.
"Begmax is going to be planning his next move soon; he's planning to take over Earth." Alem tuber says.
"When we work together, we're unstoppable!" Savannah says. The floor goes down as they fall into the water again.
Meanwhile, Remy opened his gifts. He had never seen so many of them.
"We're so proud of you, Luke." Lori says.
"We never doubted you'd win." Luna says.
"I'm not entering next season." Lisa says, going back to work on science.
"Luke, how do you do it?" Lana asked.
"Well, I'm just the best. I'm never losing. I'd mentally shatter. I'm going home. I have no one. Besides, it's not like my half-birthday will be remembered." Luke says and leaves upset. Remy grabs his hand.
"What?!" Luke screamed. Remy started to cry because Luke screamed at him.
"Luke, first you forgot his birthday, then you tried to drown Brandy and his friends and ruined Remy's cake and presents that they worked really hard on, now you're making him cry again." Luan says.
Leni gives Remy her gift. It was a birthday suit. Remy put it on.
"I can't go to my 8th grade graduation because of her…" Luke sobbed, pointing at Lori. He then sat and sulked.
Remy sniffed. Luan did her juggling for Remy, then told some jokes. He did manage to giggle a bit.
Savannah and Brandy watched through the window before heading home.
Then Lucy reads Remy a poem. Remy was a poet himself, so he loved it as much as he loved his own poetry.
Later, they played games that Remy liked. He was having fun until Luke joined in one of them. He accepted Luke into the game, giggling all the while.
Haiku was spying on Remy. Remy laughed and tossed his short and wavy brown hair. She felt weird.
After the games, Luna played a song. Remy smiled.
Luke was sitting in the corner as Remy's party resumed. Luna noticed.
Luke was feeling regretful for how he acted. He felt heartbroken because he finally knew how selfish he really was. And he knew he ruined Remy's birthday because of his selfishness and apprehensive behavior. Brandy and his friends actually did something for Remy that he and his friends failed to do at first. He wished he could fix what he broke. But he knew it was way too late for that.
Remy just stormed away from Luke. It still hurt him.
Haiku was spying through the vents. She was blushing a bit.
Skylia pulled the kids out. "So you lost the show because Remy was in control and Begmax is planning on invading? Not good. Wait, Luke attacked you and didn't get eliminated?"
"Nobody cares if he does the attacks. If he's out of a show, that show plummets." Bill says.
"The show was on a long commercial break at that time, if I remember correctly. So none of this was shown live." Jason says before he heads off, mentally questioning his choice of friends.
Meanwhile, Haiku approached Remy when he was alone.
"Oh, hey." Remy says with a sigh. "Are you here to get away from my egotistical friend, too? If you are, join me."
Haiku sat down as her heart was thumping. "I-I guess so..." She says. She then looked at Remy.
He had that short wavy brown hair, big green eyes behind dark green glasses, a somewhat skinny build, and a gorgeous smile when he was happy. Even when he felt sad or upset, he always looked amazing.
Victoria sees this and notices Haiku blushing. She just smiled at the fact someone liked her son.
"So, um…Remy, would you like to hear my poem?" Haiku asked nervously. Remy nodded as he loved poetry in all forms.
Haiku reads a poem as Remy hangs on her every word.
"That was wonderful." Remy says. "I love it a lot. By the way, what poems are you into? I'll tell you mine once you tell me yours."
Haiku tells him she loved haikus as she was blushing harder.
"Well, I like all types of poetry, but cinquains and haikus are my favorites." Remy says. "I am also going to take creative writing at Royal Woods High School as I am an aspiring writer. I also play a little bit of sports. Mostly co-ed softball and tennis. I tried out for the co-ed softball team at the high school, and of course, I made the team. But enough about me. Tell me about yourself, Haiku."
"I'm a writer and a goth, so there's not much to say there." Haiku says.
"You're so interesting…" Remy says, smiling at Haiku. "There's open mic poetry at this coffee shop that my mom and I go to. It takes place next week. Would you like to go there with me?"
Haiku blushed and nodded.
"I already look forward to it." Remy says and kisses Haiku's cheek.
"I-I…" Haiku stammered nervously. She had never been in love before. Haiku then walked past Stephen and Maggie, blushing like mad.
With Luke, he watched the others get ready for piñata time. He soon got up to leave.
He was sad, guilty, and very lonely. Luke now regrets what he did wrong. He knew he let his selfish behavior get in the way of his friendships and he remembers how many of his friends' birthdays he had ruined because of how he acted.
Savannah walked into the party, drying her hair as she and Tina decided to join.
Luna noticed Luke leaving the party.
"Luke!" Lucy says, running after him.
"I was a horrible friend!" Luke cried. "I ruined Remy's day because of my selfishness! Now everyone hates me!"
"We don't hate you." Luna says.
"You're all mad at me because I ruined Remy's birthday. I deserve it for being a bad friend." Luke says.
"I'm not mad." Lucy says.
"Everyone else is." Luke says. "After this party, I'm going home, and I'll never perform again."
Lucy watches Remy hit the piñata as he sends candy everywhere. Remy was looking for Luke after that.
"He wants to go home. You need to forgive him. Truly, you broke his heart." Lucy says.
"It wasn't me who broke his heart! He broke MY heart! He couldn't put his selfish and egotistical attitude aside for one whole day!" Remy screamed.
"You know Luke has autism." Lucy says.
"I know that! But he could have still remembered my birthday!" Remy says. "But he couldn't stop talking about how he was gonna have a party for himself instead of thinking about m-m-me!"
"I know. He doesn't like celebrating others. It makes him jealous. After all, my siblings ruined his past birthdays, so I guess he thinks that others should suffer for my siblings' mistakes. You have no idea how badly he's suffered. Worse than you. He was kicked out of a house. I had to take him to a beach and celebrate his birthday because my siblings were cruel." Lucy says.
"I know this story already. And now that I know Luke's true intentions, I'm just going to leave my own birthday party and cut ties with Luke." Remy says, tearing up.
"Wait, Remy, no…" Haiku says, coming up to him. "I have something for you." She leads him to the room and shows him a death by chocolate cake with the words "Happy Fantastic Fourteenth Birthday, Remington Estevez!". Remy gasped in shock.
Everyone was there, gathered around the cake table and smiling at Remy. Remy hardly knew what to say.
Everyone began to sing as Remy smiled. He couldn't believe it.
Remy wished that his friends would treat him better next year. He sighed and blew out the candles, running out of the party in tears.
Alem tuber arrived home and sees Remy running off.
"Whatever." Alem tuber says.
Savannah feels bad for Remy. Then she sees her destroyed gift. She remade Remy's childhood birthday vase, but it was rebroken.
Haiku looks for Remy. Remy was now a miserable mess.
Haiku calls Maggie to pick them up, and she does so.
"Wow, Haiku, I thought you said you'd never fall in love. He seems cute." Maggie says.
Haiku blushed as they arrived at the house.
Meanwhile, Luke heads home.
"I'm a jerk. An egotistical and selfish jerk." Luke says.
