Ash 150: Race Against Time Chapter 3: After School
(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN POKÉMON OR BEN 10! POKÉMON BELONGS TO GAMEFREAK/NINTENDO! BEN 10 BELONGS TO MAN OF ACTION STUDIOS/CARTOON NETWORK STUDIOS/WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY).
(Ash was riding his Bike with Pikachu to a local restaurant they liked to frequent. He parked his Bike, took his helmet off and they headed inside. The woman who owns the Restaurant, greets them saying friendly).
Woman: Have not seen you for a while Ash. Pikachu.
Ash: I was gone for the Summer Mrs. Yukino.
Pikachu: I missed seeing you. (This was the Clara Yukino and old friend of Ash and Pikachu).
Clara Yukino: Do anything fun?
Ash: No, just rode around with my cousin, Grandpa, and our Pokémon. (She Smiles at the Mention of Mohn and Zoroark).
Clara Yukino: Tell Mohn and Zoroark I said hello. And tell him my toilets have not worked the same since he stopped fixing them. (She then asks of them). What Can I get for you?
Ash: Something that is not vegetarian or has Skwovet.
Pikachu: In other words, something that Mohn would not feed us. (She chuckles at hearing that, knowing exactly what they want).
Clara Yukino: Coming Right Up. (She walks off to get something for them. Ash looks over and spots something that gets his attention. Pikachu follows his line of sight and spots it too. On the side of the Cash register, was a sticker/logo. Showing something that says in a foreign language that Ash nor Pikachu can understand. Ash just brushes it off saying to himself as he grabs a plastic straw for himself and Pikachu).
Ash: Pallet Town. Blah. Might as well be in the Distortion World. At least it would be more interesting. (Then She returns with a milkshake for Ash and a Glass of Water for Pikachu).
Clara Yukino: This Ought to start you off Nicely. (Ash hands a Plastic Straw to Pikachu once it was no longer in the plastic cover. She then walks off again). See you in a bit hon. (Pikachu begins drinking his water with the Straw as does Ash with his Milkshake. Ash's eyes then wander off and notice that the Old Man sitting right next to him was reading the Newspaper. And on the Page was an article with a picture of him as his Pokémon form, Stoutland. He then asks the Old Man).
Ash: Um? Can I see that? (The Old Man asks Rhetorically).
Old Man: I do not know. Can You? (He then laughs at his joke and gives the Newspaper over to Ash. The Newspaper, "The Pallet Town Post" has a Heading that Ash reads to himself and Pikachu).
Ash: "Are there Pokémon among us?" (The Diner bell rings). Yes, but I have no authorization to tell anyone.
Pikachu: That is just the way it needs to be Ash. (Then they hear Trip's voice greeting them).
Trip: Talking to yourself again Ketchum? (They look and Trip is here with Drew, Roserade, and Serperior. They see the Picture of Stoutland in the Newspaper that Ash and Pikachu were looking at). Woah! Who is that? Your new girlfriend?
Serperior: It would be a match made in heaven. (Roserade laughs at that saying).
Roserade: Good One Serperior. (Then Serperior says shouting at Roserade).
Serperior: Quiet Roserade! (Roserade quiets down, obeying Serperior's orders).
Ash: I dare to say that to Stoutland's face.
Trip: And yes, you are gonna pull Stoutland out of Your butt or something, right?
Drew: Butt. That was a Good Trip! (Just like with Serperior and Roserade, Trip orders Drew).
Trip: Can it Drew! (And Drew backs down saying).
Drew: Sorry man.
Ash: No! Not out of my butt! (Then Trip and Drew walk off with Serperior and Roserade, heading to a table. With Trip giving Ash one last put down).
Trip: Lameason!
Serperior: Stinkachu!
Drew: Lameason that was incredibly good!
Roserade: And Stinkachu was impressive! (Ash and Pikachu try to ignore them, knowing that Stooping to their level of Petty insults will not be doing them any favors right now. Then the Diner bell rings, and the duo hear yet another Familiar voice).
Voice: Hey, it is the little Magician's Assistant? (They see it is Kelly and Erica). Picking up a couple of Fresh new tricks! (The Girls laugh, as an Annoyed Ash slams the newspaper on the Counter and walks away. Pikachu seeing this, shouts to get his attention).
Pikachu: Hey Ash! Wait for me! (Pikachu runs after Ash, as Erica whispers something in Kelly's Ears that makes them both descend into Giggles. While the Old man takes the Newspaper, he gave to Ash back).
(Now behind the Diner, Ash with Pikachu by his side, checks to make sure only Pikachu is watching him as he says).
Ash: Forget what the grandpa said! It is Payback time! (Ash turns to the Pokétrix and activates it, turning the dial to Machamp). Machamp should settle this up. (But he can slam the dial back down to begin the transformation, Pikachu asks).
Pikachu: Are you sure you wanna do this Ash? (But Ash is already set on doing this, as he ignores Pikachu and goes hero. But instead of Getting Machamp he gets... Elgyem! But upon seeing this he says).
Elgyem: Oh Man! (But then he thinks about it). Likely I work with this. (He then turns to Pikachu and says). Especially with my Electric Mouse Pokémon as my Assistant. (Pikachu looks worried about this, knowing what is now going through's Genius if not Unpredictable Mind, especially since he is even Brainer now. But he decides to go along for now to make sure things do not get too crazy).
(Back in the diner, Elgyem peeks out from behind the Counter with Pikachu hiding behind him, deciding to try and remain invisable if possible, not wanting to be a part of this if it can. Elgyem then leaps onto the counter and hides, watching Trip, Drew, Serperior, and Roserade at a table).
Trip: Hey, watch this! (Trip goes and then Shoots a Spitball through a Straw at the girl Erica who was sitting with her girls at the booth behind them. Upon having the Spitball hit her, she gets annoyed and says).
Erica: Hey that is so immature! (But the Boys and their Pokémon do not care as they High Five each other. While Serperior and Roserade fist bump each other, with Serperior using its tail as a fist. Elgyem says intending to punish them for that indecency they just did to the girls).
Elgyem: Drew, Trip, Serperior, and Roserade are going to get there's! (Pikachu, hiding behind the Counter, knows this is not going to go over well).
Pikachu: Oh boy. (Elgyem spies the Display Case filled with Deserts, then the Hot Dog Steamer case as he formulates a plan).
Elgyem: A couple of cakes, a torpedo of meat, threads in the car, in your face, impressive! (He laughs maniacally, already liking the plan forming in his little head but his Massive Brain. He then goes to set his plan into action, with Pikachu staying close to him, to make sure he does not go too far with this. He arrives in a dark section of the Diner as he mutters to himself). The lights go off. (Then he mutters something excitedly to himself as Pikachu watches him in action. He Climbs up a Shelf to the fuse box and flips the switch, shutting off all the electricity in the diner. The Diner goes pitch black, catching everyone by surprise).
Drew: What happened Trip?
Trip: I do not know!
Serperior: A Power Outage?
Roserade: It could be an accident. (Pikachu then watches as Elgyem dives into an electric box to mess with the wires and fuses).
Elgyem: Let us see what we have here. Red with blue, blue with red, food goes flying on your head? (Then he goes and then fiddles with a pair of sprayers like devices). Here we go, Liquid attacks. (Then Elgyem makes his way to the Hot Dog Steamer Case and messes with the wires/fuses). This wire here we go, all systems are ready to go.
Trip: What? A Power Outage? (Now back at the Fusebox, Elgyem is ready to flip the switch, and see his payback happen. While Pikachu says to himself feeling apprehensive about it, but not willing to stand in Ash's way when he is like this).
Pikachu: This ought to be interesting.
Elgyem: Here we go! (Elgyem flips the switch, turning the electricity back on. This causes an electrical burst in the Fusebox he messed with. This sets of a chain of events, starting with the Display case full of deserts, mostly pies to start spinning, sending them flying out one by one hitting Trip, Drew, Serperior, and Roserade. While the Sprayer Devices go wild, spraying water everywhere. Next, the Hot Dog Steamer Case, which is open begins shooting Hot Dogs everywhere. Trip and Drew cover themselves, wondering what is going on, while Serperior and Roserade take cover under the table. Clara who was hiding under the table while this was going on, saw this and had one question).
Clara Yukino: What the heck?! (She then ducks as the madness continues. The Old Man is still sitting at the Counter, completely unbothered/unaffected by the madness going on while, Elgyem lobs a bunch of Eggs into the Air).
Elgyem: Yes! (Trip, Drew, Serperior, and Roserade, continue screaming as are the other spectators. While Clara continues to watch the madness going on here. Eventually, everyone begins running out of the diner, with the chaos getting to be too much for them. Even with the Diner, a complete and utter mess and everyone gone, the man is still there, having somehow managed to avoid end up caught in the crossfire that Elgyem caused and just causally asks Clara).
Old Man: Clara! More Coffee please! (While flailing around on the counter, laughing maniacally is Elgyem).
Elgyem: That was impressive! (He was incredibly pleased with his successful prank on everyone. Now stepping out of the Diner is Trip, Drew, Serperior, and Roserade. They were all a complete mess covered in everything from various kinds of Desert stains and Drink stains and more).
Drew: I do not feel-good man!
Trip: Shut Drew! Come on, man! (But Trip's Serperior is especially upset by this turn of events).
Serperior: My Shiny Self! My Shiny Self! No, I am no longer Shiny! No, I lost my Superior Shine!
Roserade: How am I supposed to Shine in Pokémon Contests like this? (Serperior is about to yell at Roserade).
Serperior: Roserade! Just... (Serperior sighs). I do not even have the energy or patience to yell at you right now. (With that the four of them walk off).
(Later that day, Ash and Pikachu arrive home, the Northern Star is there. Inside the RV working are Iris and Axew, currently Iris is working on her very high-tech looking Laptop with Axew's help. When Ash with Pikachu on his Shoulder appears in the window and startles them shouting).
Ash: BOO! (Iris Screams which is exactly the reaction Ash was hoping for from her as he laughs). You fully just Screamed like a Girl? (Pikachu then jumps off Ash's Shoulders to the table. Landing next to Axew).
Iris: Because I am a Girl. (Then she takes a Pillow she was leaning and uses it to whack him back out the window, sending him crashing to the ground). You fully just screamed like a Boy. (Ash recovers and comes into the Northern Star and comes to see just what Iris and Axew are doing asking).
Ash: What? are you doing?
Iris: Just Enlacing the Yearbook Photo's.
Pikachu: That must be a big job, Iris.
Axew: It is. (Ash then comes and then sits next to Iris asking).
Ash: Did you take any of me? (Ash turns the laptop to face him as Iris say to him).
Iris: Ash Move! (Ash then takes notice of one picture in particular).
Ash: This Picture is terrible! It is all blurry. (It was the Picture he Photobombed before. Iris then says in response to his comment about the Picture being "blurry").
Iris: It is not blurry. Let me see. (Iris takes the computer back and uses her computer skills to increase the zoom on the Picture, before noticing an interesting detail of something that captured in the Photograph). Whoa! What is that?
Ash: Can you Focus it?
Iris: Not in this Software. Hold On. (Iris begins pressing buttons as a complicated Screen of digital information appears. Ash celebrates saying).
Ash: Sweet, you truly look like you know what you are doing! (She then says sarcastically).
Iris: I do know what I am doing! (Moments later, the Blurry Part of the Picture slowly becomes clearer revealing a figure behind Ash and Pikachu in the Photograph). Whoa! Who is that? (Pikachu then asks).
Pikachu: Is it Bloody Mary, The Amityville Ghost, The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, or The Vanishing Hitchhiker? (But Ash looks to recognize the figure in the Photo).
Ash: No way. That is the thing I turned into a fireworks Display? At least I thought I did. (The Picture continues to get clearer and clearer. Before Iris points out to Ash).
Iris: Ash if he is in this Picture, he is not only not dead, but he knows who you are! Why would he fight you and then pretend to die? (Ash thinks about it for a moment before venturing a guess).
Axew: It does not really make sense.
Ash: Likely he wanted to know how good I was.
Iris: What do you mean? Like Research?
Ash: Is that so crazy? Because I am quite amazing. (Iris and Axew Roll their Eyes at that).
Iris: Amazing is not exactly the word I would use.
Axew: "Good" would be a better word. (Then the "Northern Star" Door opens and Mohn comes in with Zoroark).
Mohn: What are you kids doing in here?
Zoroark: Not that we are not happy to see you all. (They see Mohn holding something in his hand).
Ash: Grandpa! What is in your hand?
Mohn: That is an Octillery; it is good for your teeth! (The Kids, Pikachu, and Axew, Cringe at the sight of it. Mohn throws the Octillery Tentacle aside as Iris asks).
Iris: Do You know this Creep Grandpa? (Mohn and Zoroark lean in to look at the Photograph).
Mohn: In the Ultra Ranger Lab it Does. (He then reveals the name of the Mysterious Figure in the Photograph). His name is Giovanni. (Ash then asks confused).
Ash: Do you mean that you Patrolled this guy's Park?
Iris: Not These Rangers. The Ultra Rangers. The secrets ones who fight Evil Pokémon? Grandpa and Zoroark used to work for them. (Ash's eyes widen as he remembers that).
Ash: Oh! Those Ultra Rangers! Duh I knew that!
Mohn: Giovanni was the beginning. It was the first Evil Extraterrestrial captured almost 2 Centuries ago. By the original Ultra Rangers. According to the archival materials he was half dead and was carrying with him a device called "The Ultimate Weapon". (Iris then asks).
Iris: What was it?
Axew: And why does it not sound good?
Mohn: It took us a long number of years to find out. "The Ultimate Weapon" is a doomsday machine. Capable of opening a gateway into our dimension? Signalling the Start of a Pokémon Invasion, which would Mark the end of humankind. Giovanni was the beginning. He has brought with him our end. You two pack your things, we are going on a field trip.
Zoroark: You heard us. (This gets Ash all excited knowing that he was finally getting to do something exciting for once).
Ash: Yes! Yes! (He Cheers excitedly).
(A Short time Later, the "Northern Star" is driving down the Road. When Iris Asks).
Iris: Where are we? This is like no place. (Now inside the RV, Ash was now in his Classic Clothes that he wore throughout the Summer as he says excitedly).
Ash: Yes, well it is better than our place. Ash Ketchum's Hero back!
Iris: Ash Ketchum's Hero stinks! (Then Iris takes notice of the Conditioning of Ash's Classic Clothes). You wore that shirt all Summer. Did you ever wash it?
Ash: Are you kidding? This is my Lucky Shirt. Why would I do that? (Pikachu feels embarrassed by what Ash just said).
Pikachu: Oh Ash. (From the Driver's Seat, Mohn hangs up a Phone and puts it back on the Dashboard).
Mohn: I Still Cannot Raise contact with them friend. We will be there soon enough.
Zoroark: In No time at all. (With that the Ketchum's continued on their journey).
(A/N #1: Fans of Power Rangers are sure to find this Fact interesting. The Actor who plays Mrs. Dalton, Aloma Wright had previously played the Character, Adelle Ferguson in "Powers Rangers in Space" about 9 Years Prior. Adelle worked in the Rangers' hangout place, the "Surf Spot". It is true, according to Wikipedia).
