(This Episode takes place around a week after the previous episode) Starfire is in the shopping mall with her younger brother. They want to buy some food for Silkie, and also for their lunch. "So brother, what do you think about this planet? Did you like it?" - Starfire asks her with a typical smile on her face. "Yeah. It's much better than the planet I was sent into." - Wildfire replies. By the time they talk, they meet Jinx, who is also shopping by coincidence. They meet each other face to face and are shocked. "AAAAAAAAHHHHH" - They both scream. Starfire's eyes glow with green light and Jinx's eyes glow with pink light in response. And they prepare their hands to shoot with anger. "Jinx, what are you doing here? And how did you know my place?" - Starfire asks with anger. "Huh? I am just here for shopping until I suddenly found YOU here in front of my face." - Jinx replies anxiously. "Oh. So you're not here to attack me or my friends?" - Starfire says. She deactivates her glowing energy. And Jinx shuts down hers in-turn. "Why would I? I am no longer a criminal, remember? I have helped you take down the Brotherhood of Evil at the time." - Jinx speaks with an anxious face. "Oh! That explains why you came here on your own then. However, that doesn't mean I can fully trust you yet." - Starfire talks with a serious face. Jinx notices Wildfire next to his sister and he is just surprised seeing them act like that in a shopping mall. Luckily no one is seeing them. "Hmm. So you're here with your brother, huh? Why is no one from your friends here by the way?" – Jinx questions with a smirk. "That's none of your concern. Hmmmm" - Star says while closing her eyes and turning her face. Jinx makes a bigger smile. "I heard that you are in a relationship with Robin recently. Hhhhh" - Jinx says with a small laugh.
"Ok? We have been together since a year by now. That has nothing to do with you, so get out of my way." - Starfire replies with an angry voice. Starfire walks from behind Jinx. "I also noticed that he changed his outfit, identity and gained new powers a few days ago. I even once saw him move at superspeed across this city. Hhhhh. He just became a bootleg version of Kid Flash now. Hahahaha" - Jinx speaks with a mocking laugh. Starfire gets very angry. Her eyes glow with green energy again. "Take back what you just said about him now! Or…….." - Starfire orders with a loud voice. Wildfire is worried himself. But Jinx is confident. "Then how about you try to prove me otherwise? We'll let Robin and Kid Flash race 2 days from now. And the winner would be declared as The Fastest Hero Alive on this planet, your boyfriend or my boyfriend. You wanna bet?" - Jinx speaks with a confident smile. Starfire is so angry that she wants to crush Jinx right here and now. She doesn't stand her spoose being insulted like that. However she knows that if she attacks her and refuses, she will just prove Jinx right and think she's afraid. Wildfire is also watching her and he's terrified. And there may be other people in this mall. So she catches up her breath. "Sister?" - Wildfire asks. "Sure. I accept your challenge. I can't wait to see you cry after Nightie wins this race, Jinx." Starfire speaks with a confident smile. "Hehe. Let's see then." - Jinx replies. Starfire and Jinx cross paths and decide to go. Wildfire is with Starfire and he does not feel good about this challenge. "Eh. Sister? Are you sure that Nightwing would accept this challenge and not be busy somewhere or anything like that?" - Wildfire asks. "Don't worry little brother. Nightie never runs away. Not when he was Robin, and definitely not now." - Starfire replies with a smile. *An opening starts here* There is a view on the Titans' tower from outside. "WHAAAAAAT?!" - Nightwing questions with an opened mouth and a huge shock in his face. "Yes. You're going to prove to the whole world why you're the fastest boy on Earth, Nightie. Cmon, I know you can do it." - Starfire replies with a smirk.
"But Star……." - He tries to reply. "I gotta go feed Silkie now. I can't wait to show them that you are number 1. You can prepare yourself." - Starfire speaks. She then flies to her room. But on her way, she meets Raven. "Hello Raven! I hope you're doing good today." - Starfire asks with a smile. "Eh… yeah. But I have been hearing you shout today. Is there something?" - Raven says. "Yes. Nightwing and Kid Flash are going to have a race 2 days from now on. I am excited for it." - Starfire replies. Starfire then decides to enter her room. And Raven is surprised. She sees the leader of the Teen Titans a bit shocked himself. Cyborg and Beast Boy get close to him. "Don't worry man. I am pretty sure that you have a good chance to win this race. Your speed is incredible." - Cyborg comforts him. "Yeah buddy. Just duke it out. We count on you" - Beast Boy cheers him. "Eh. It is not that. It is just that I am afraid that I may not have full control over this power, despite more than a week passing out. Also….." - Nightwing says. "Also, what?" - Beast Boy asks. "Kid Flash is a hyperactive jerk." - The blue leader replies with an annoyed face. He decides to leave the door to exercise as he has no choice at this point. (The next day) At 9:00 PM, the Titans decide to continue their daily chores. Cyborg and Beast Boy are playing video games. Raven is meditating. Starfire is with her brother in his room talking. And Nightwing is on the roof of the Tower sitting on the very edge on his back while closing his eyes taking a small rest. Suddenly, a large crowd of people are seen in front of the Tower with a loud voice. This annoys Raven who is meditating, so she gets out to check. Nightwing also hears the noise and knows that it is just fans who are excited for the race tomorrow. "Oh no!" - Nightwing says with a disappointed face.
Raven flies down to these people and Nightwing teleports by snapping his fingers. Once the fans see him, they immediately get close to him. "CAN YOU PUT YOUR SIGNATURE HERE PLEASE?" - many fans keep asking these questions while giving a note and a pen to Nightwing The place becomes crowded. The other 4 people in the Tower come down to check. "How did they know about the race this soon?" - Beast Boy asks. Then Jinx and Kid Flash come next to the Tower on the other side. And once he came, more than half of the fans ran to him instead. They ask him for a signature. And he seems to be doing it very quickly. No wonder he is called The Fastest Boy Alive. Jinx notices Starfire and pulls her tongue at her in a mocking way. Which pisses Starfire off, it appears with her eyes shining green. Kid Flash noticed the Teen Titans there. So he runs to them with his super speed. However, Nightwing intercepts him once he gets too close to them and stands in front of him. Kid Flash is impressed at the change that he had since when he was Robin. And also impressed that he was able to keep up and react to him. He did not feel this urge for a challenge before. However, he is still confident. "Wassup, Robin. Nice outfit change." - Kid Flash says with a smirk. "Kid Flash, can't we just decide to cancel this race? I don't have a good feeling about this for some reason." - Nightwing asks. "Hmm. Why? Are you too scared to even race? Cmon man, it's not a big deal if you lost. I am the fastest alive after all." - Kid Flash says. This infuriates Nightwing. "Scared? Huh? We'll see that tomorrow then." - Nightwing speaks with a slightly angry face. "Cool. I like this side of you. See ya tomorrow then buddy." - Kid Flash replies. Both turn their backs and decide to go. The fans decide to leave eventually. A few hours later, Nightwing decides to practise a little by running through the city and the forest. He even moves faster than ever from anger.
At the same time, a group happens to be walking in Jump City. It's the HIVE. They have gotten beat up alongside the Brotherhood of Evil before. But they managed to escape somehow. Although, they are nowhere near as powerful and dangerous as before after Jinx left them. "I really hoped if Jinx stayed with us. That guy Kid Flash, it's all his fault." - Gizmo says. He then finds a paper on the ground. It announces a race happening on this city tomorrow between Nightwing & Kid Flash. The team sees it and finds out everything. They give an evil smile. "Tomorrow's going to be a very interesting day. Hahahahaha" - Gizmo laughs This day passes out and the day of the planned race has come. There is a large spectacle of viewers watching who are excited to see this race. The Titans are also watching alongside these viewers. Meanwhile, Nightwing is waiting in the white line of start since Kid Flash hasn't come yet. He seems a bit bored. Suddenly, a yellow wind speed line comes quickly and turns around Nightwing constantly as a way to bring the spectacle's attention. But the blue hero manages to stop from moving with one arm coated with electricity, which hurts Kid Flash. "Save it for the race!" - Nightwing says with an emotionless face. Kid Flash feels quite impressed because not only the blue hero was able to react to his speed with ease. But his arm was so tough that it stopped him with ease despite moving at high speed. He knew that he may have found his rival as a speedster. Even the two speed kids from Titans East were not comparable to him, so he feels excited. "Don't worry about me pal. I got more than enough heat to beat……" - Kid Flash replies before getting interrupted. "Eh eh. It seems both of you have come. The rules of the race are simple. The first boy to circle the country 100 times will be declared, the fastest hero alive!" - The judge says. A journalist woman approaches Kid Flash. "Kid Flash. Are you sure that you could beat the Boy Wonder today and keep your title?" She asks him. "Oh don't worry. I can keep running on circles on that super-slug" - Kid Flash replies with a confident smile. This infuriates Nightwing as seen in his voice.
The viewers are arguing who would win to each other. "You can do it, Flash. Just prove to them that you are the quickest." - Jinx shouts while cheering her spoose. "NIGHTIE! I count on you. Show them who is number 1 and then we can return to the Tower together." - Starfire screams in-turn. This makes the blue hero a bit shy. The judge gives them each a band. "These electronic bands will allow us to track your progress by satellite." - The judge says. "Swanky. But you don't need a satellite to see who's gonna win this race." - Kid Flash speaks with confidence like always. "Shut up and run." - Nightwing replies. Both prepare to run next to the white line of start, waiting for the judge to give his mark. "Gentlemen. On your marks. Get set……" - The judge says while preparing to shoot his gun to announce the beginning of the race. "GO!" - He shoots the gun. Nightwing and Kid Flash run at super speed, leaving nothing but a trail of blue electricity behind the blue hero and yellow wind behind The Flash. The judge even turns around and loses balance from the sheer pressure of their speed. And the viewers are getting affected by their air pressure. The two speedsters run through the crowded road, far surpassing the cars in speed. They are also holding back their top speed notably. Kid Flash is impressed at the speed the blue hero is running at, and also the glowing lightning sparks that are surrounding him. However, he is still confident. Both of the racers travel through the bridge and then go to a desert. They seem to be equal again. At that time, it seems that Gizmo is able to spot their location somehow. "Hahahaha. They are about to reach the position I need them in." - Gizmo says from his secret hideout to the other HIVE members. "Eh…. So how are you able to locate them?" - the Cyclops asks. "Well, I'll tell you…." - the short leader responds. The camera turns to the electric bands that the 2 runners have in their arms.
Nightwing & Kid Flash have passed the desert and are now walking through a lake. From the sheer speed they are running with, they could walk on water. Once they fully traverse the lake, they go quickly through a forest. But suddenly, the blue hero hears a scream of some people in fear. "Hey Kid Flash. There are some people who need help on the right side." - Nightwing says with a worried face. "Huh! Nice try my friend, but you won't win this…." - Kid Flash replies without looking at the blue blur. He finds out that Nightwing has left him and went to check for the source of the voice. "Hey wait. Don't leave me…" - Kid Flash talks. The blue blur runs quickly to see the issue. And he finds 2 big red robots attacking some people in the forest. They were lucky that they passed by. One of the robots decide to punch a person who is very scared. But the blue hero reacts in time and kicks the robot so hard that he sends it flying. This is a combination of the sheer momentum from his speed and also the electricity he stored on his leg. "Leave this now. I'll take care of this…" - Nightwing orders the victims. "Thank you sir. Take care of yourself." - One of the humans reply. The robot seems quite injured from the kick he got. However, he gets back up and shoots some rockets. The blue hero decides to pull one of his staffs, he coats it with electricity. Then he suddenly disappears after snapping his fingers. The robot is confused. Until he finds his head cut off immediately when Nightwing teleports behind to his right side. The fight was over in the blink of an eye. On the other hand, Kid Flash is seen dealing with the second robot. He is having the clear edge, even making a tornado from his arms to send it flying. However he is being cocky and not wanting to finish it quickly. He even lets his guard down, which the robot tried to take advantage of after getting back up. Luckily, the blue hero shoots an electric coated birdarang at the robot which makes it explode completely. Kid Flash is impressed by the combat ability of the blue hero. He feels that if they were to actually fight and not just race, his odds of winning would be quite low. Nightwing didn't even try. "Let's continue the race now" - the blue hero says.
"Sure!" - Kid Flash replies They return to running. However, there is something that is uncomfortable inside him. He wonders why these robots are attacking specifically in the zone where they are having a race. Eventually, both speedsters reach the north side of America. Unluckily for them, that side is raining. Though it doesn't seem to bother them. Once they eventually walk though, they found two robots on both sides of the route shooting an ice cannon at them which freezes both of them. It seems that it shot automatically the moment they touched the red line they emitted from their hands. Camera goes back to the HIVE. "HAHAHAHAHA. Now, we have successfully captured both of them. This is very great." Gizmo says with an evil laugh. "So now Gizmo, what should we do?" - Billy Numerous asks. "We'll wait till the 2 robots we put bring them here. And then we'll have them as hostages." the short leader replies. By the time they are chatting, the camera goes back to the ice cube that freezed both heroes. However, the blue hero was able to eventually shoot an electric bolt to get out of it. Kid Flash is already waiting for him though after destroying the 2 robots. "It seems you finally managed to get out." - Kid Flash speaks while looking at him. "Wait. How did you manage to get out quickly?" - Nightwing asks. "I can vibrate my molecules to pass through objects. So these stuffs do not work on me. Now let's continue the race" - Kid Flash says. He starts running first. But the blue hero does not run because he knows that his suspicions were correct, there is someone at least trying to capture them. Kid Flash comes back to him. "Eh…. Is there a problem?" - Kid Flash asks. "How are these robots able to locate us when we are moving at this high speed?" - The blue hero questions with a suspicious face. Both keep thinking slowly until they come to the conclusion together. "THE ARM BANDS!!!!!" - Both speedsters shout with surprise at the same time. The camera switches back to the HIVE seconds after, who think that their plans are successful.
"So Gizmo, are you sure that those two heroes are captured by now?" - Kyd Wykkyd asks. "Yeah. Don't worry about that. Soon, they will be trapped here and we will have a lot of fun at this point. Hahaha" - Gizmo replies with a laugh. Suddenly, a voice comes to them. "Oh. Then how about we have some fun now then?" - the blue hero says. The HIVE are shocked and turn their faces to the direction of the voice. They see Nightwing & Kid Flash in the hideout. "But but….. how did you know our location?" - Gizmo asks with a worried face. "Well. The arm bands that you somehow managed to hack helped. When I electrocuted it with my powers. It somehow gave me a close enough spot to find your location where you were locating us. So we just came here." - Nightwing replies Gizmo is worried. But now that the 2 heroes came here by themselves. There is no choice but to fight. "HIVE, attack them now." - Gizmo orders while spotting his finger at the targets. The yellow speedster takes on Gizmo & Kyd Wykkyd. While the blue speedster takes on Mammoth, Billy Numerous & See-more. Kyd Wykkyd opens a portal trying to capture Kid Flash, but the latter easily dodges it. Then Gizmo pulls one of his mechanical arms to shoot a laser at him, which Kid Flash counters by shooting a tornado at it. On the other hand, we see Mammoth trying to punch Nightwing with rage. But to no avail since the hero effortlessly dodges his attacks, and even decides to flex by staying up on Mammoth's right arm with just one hand. This infuriates Mammoth who tries to punch him, but Nightwing teleports suddenly and kicks his face badly, causing the giant criminal to fly. Billy Numerous activates around 20 clones, so the blue hero brings his staff and coats it with lightning to increase its potency. And decides to dominate the duplicates with ease. He then makes an electric whip and spins to take down more clones. This scares the original red villain. The Cyclops villain tries to catch the blue hero off-guard and shoots a beam from his back. But Nightwing manages to react and responds with an electric beam, which ends up eventually overpowering See-More's eyebeam and electrocuting him, it also sends him to a wall unconscious.
Mammoth tries to exploit an opening and attack Nightwing from his back as well. But the blue hero makes an electric cord and throws it at his legs, which makes him lose balance. Then he kicks him on his chest so hard that it knocks him out for good. This leaves only the red villain with the cloning ability. On the other hand, Kid Flash is seen already disposing of Gizmo off-screen. The teleporting black villain tries to cut him using his cape. But to no avail. Kid Flash eventually just decides to give him a few punches and knocks him out. Only the red villain is left. He is quite scared, so he just spams around 100 clones and makes them all jump on Nightwing. But the latter makes a blue electric ball and throws it, eliminating almost all the clones quickly. Then he just decides to knock the real one with a punch. All the HIVE are finished. Kid Flash goes to the blue hero to check. They give a smile to each other. Then Nightwing captures all the unconscious HIVE members together with an electric whip so they don't escape when the police come to put them in jail. They leave the hideout after that. "It seems we had fun today. Right?" - Kid Flash says with a smile. "You know, Kid Flash. Since today, I thought you were a hyperactive jerk… but you're okay." - Nightwing replies with a smile. Kid Flash gives a smirk. "Give me a five." - Nightwing says with a smile. Kid Flash tries to give a five. But the blue hero pulls out his hand quickly, tricking the yellow speedster. "Too slow!" - The blue hero says with a smirk. Kid Flash gives a slight laugh. "Hey. We haven't settled yet who is the fastest boy alive. Right?" - Kid Flash asks. "Well, let's do it then." - Nightwing replies. The two speedsters take their start position again. And they continue racing on equal footing again. Leaving the hideout far away. *An ending starts here.* EPISODE ENDS.
