Part 1

The Core...survived?

The final fight. Anne Boonchuy, young teenage Human hero of an Alien world populated by Frogs, Newts, Toads and other Reptilian creatures…prepares to give everything to save the lives of her Friends, her adopted Family on Amphibia, it's inhabitants and all its creatures.

6 months ago, Anne Boonchuy was just an ordinary 13-year-old girl, with 13-year-old problems…school, friends, home life…until the day that one of her friends, Marcy Wu, convinced her to steal a harmless looking wooden box with three coloured jewels embedded in its lid from a thrift store in downtown Los Angeles. Her life, and the lives of her two best friends, the aforementioned Marcy, the loveable but clumsy nerd, and Sasha Waybright…the popular, yet manipulative cheerleader girl, were transported through the box, which happened to contain a dimensional portal to another world…

With a final act of pure, unashamed love for everyone on the planet below, Anne used the combined powers of the three Calamity crystals, Strength, Heart and Wit, to channel a blast so powerful, she knew it would destroy her, but save everyone she cared about…both on Amphibia, and back home on Earth. The Core, a massive, evil computerised combination of previous rulers of Amphibia, knew this was the end of it's existence…and in a last ditch attempt to save itself from destruction at the hands of who had become Amphibia's greatest champion, sent its mainframe hard drive, that contained the very essence of it's existence, out of its main control unit literally seconds before Anne unleashed the power of Calamity onto Its body that was contained inside the Planet's Moon…

A mighty Planet shattering explosion of power ripped through the Moon, blasting it into many pieces, but unseen by Anne, or anyone on the planet below, the Core's hard drive was ejected and flew away, just as the main body of the moon, and the Core's main mind control unit, disintegrated in a spectacular fireball…

Everyone who witnessed the explosion thought it was all over, even Anne, who had sacrificed herself to save others, thought it was over, and smiled as she faded away to greet the Great Cosmic Guardian…who blessed her with a second chance at life…

Meanwhile, the Core's Hard Drive fell to the planet below, and crashed near to a fallen Judge Frobot, which was badly damaged, but still functional… the Core used the last of its power to summon the damaged frobot to it...the frobot, dragging itself towards the object calling it. The frobot stopped, picked up the hard drive with its one good arm, and opened its chest armour piece. It inserted the drive into an empty slot in the chest. Suddenly, the eyes turned a menacing shade of red, and the Frobot started sparking from the various damaged limbs and from its neck. The sparks stopped, and the frobot sat up and looked around. It then spoke in a voice it had not had before, to no one who was around. "We…survived

Part 2

Frobot prime

The Frobot forced itself to its feet, it was missing its left arm, its right leg was twisted the wrong way, yet it forced itself to start walking, away from the crowds surrounding the fallen Anne, away from what was once its home in the castle, away from prying eyes…

It took several hours to walk/drag itself to the Frobot factory in the marshlands. It found its way inside. Once inside, it began repairing itself with the mountain of spare parts left everywhere. Once repaired, it stood up to its full height, and declared in its newly found voice "they…shall… PAY!"

Ten years had passed since the great battle at Newtopia. The citizens of Amphibia had all settled into a new life, a new routine. Peace reigned all over, the kingdom was now ruled by Lady Olivia, who had the young Marcy to thank. Lady Olivia passed power down to each township through its elected mayors. Each species, once separated by fear of the other, and controlled by this fear, now enjoyed working and playing together. Newts, Lizards, Frogs, Toads and the ilk all had one thing in common…their 3 heroes, and the planet's saviour.

Andrias, once the former king and ruler of Newtopia, had found a new purpose…he loved to plant, and to watch new life spring forth from the ground, although he was free to go about the land and to make friends with people, he was not completely trusted by everyone…and was forced to wear a chain that limited his movement of his one good arm…this was his price to be a free Salamander in this new land created from the remnants of the old…

Grime was now Mayor of Toad Town, his military days well behind him. Now, he sat in his office, issuing Mayoral Proclamations, rather than orders. He sometimes liked to watch the young Toads enjoy playing in the town square, and it bought a smile to the battered old face of a battle-hardened warrior. This was his life now, and he wouldn't be where he was now, if it hadn't been for one person, a former prisoner...his former Lieutenant …bearer of the Strength Stone…Sasha Waybright…

In the township of Wartwood, where the statue of Anne stood proudly in the towns square, Sprig had taken on a new, exciting role. He was now an explorer, who visited every part of Amphibia, every Continent brought new adventures, new friends, new discoveries. He was widely regarded as an emissary for Frog kind. He documented everything he did, everyone he met, everything he saw…and he did it on the one gift that Anne had left to him before returning to Earth…her Phone. His Sister, Polly, had become well known in and around Wartwood and beyond... She was now an inventor, who built many machines that helped to revolutionise the whole of Amphibia. With her trusty robotic friend, Frobo, Polly was never far away from something happening. Whether it was building a new machine to help Frog kind, repairing an old trusty machine like the seed planter that Andrias used, to helping the Newts to repair the technology in the castle, she managed to get it placed back where it had sat for hundreds of years by reactivating the levitation thrusters. She had also made sure to remove as many traces of the Core from within the castle as possible…

Meanwhile, in the abandoned Frobot Factory in the marshlands between the kingdom of Newtopia and the main road to Toad Towers, on the border of Croaker Ville and Caecilian Woods, the Frobot that held the Core's hard drive in its chassis, an old Judge Frobot, had spent time rebuilding itself. It had repaired itself, and upgraded itself also, taking itself to nearly 20 feet tall, adding more armour to its already armoured body, as well as internally reconfiguring itself, and added gold detailing to make itself stand out from all the other frobots that had been rebuilt. It had amassed itself an army and was ready to put its newly hatched plan into action. It now called itself Frobot prime, and it was ready to once again rule over all of Amphibia.

Part 3

Attack of the Core's Frobot Army

The Core, once a collective intelligence belonging to the Former rulers of Amphibia, now trapped inside the body of what had once been a member of the Newtopian Robotic Army. It called itself Frobot Prime. Frobot Prime looked out at the mass of reassembled Frobot's and chuckled in its mettalic,robotic voice.

"Soon, my troops. We shall unleash our fury on the inhabitants of this world. Soon, we shall regain control of what is rightfully ours. We shall soon remind the Frogs, Toads, Newts, Salamanders, and any other creature that lives here, that they are ours to rule over. Subjugation will become paramount, and those who choose to oppose us, will be made an example of. This time, there are no heroes to step forward and challenge us. There will be no creature that shall stand in our way. This time…there will be no stopping us…" Frobot prime announced, as the Frobot army below all looked up and saluted.

Polly was approaching the gates to the Castle in the city of Newtopia, riding on her best friend, ally and constant companion's Shoulder,s in a specially made seat that went behind Frobo's head and sat on his broad back and shoulders. As they approached, a Newtopian Guard called out "Raise the gate, a traveller approaches".

The portcullis in the entranceway raises upwards, and Polly and Frobo enter the courtyard. Standing there as she enters is Andrias, the former King. Coming down the steps from the palace, Lady Olivia, followed by General Yunan, approach her and Frobo.

"Polly. Welcome" Lady Olivia greets their visitor.

"Thank you for inviting me, your Ladyship" Polly replies, as she jumps down off Frobo's back, lands in front of him, then curtsies to lady Olivia.

"It is a pleasure to see you again." Lady Olivia goes, and comments, "You've grown again since the last time we saw you".

Polly replies "everyone keeps saying that".

Andrias looks at the young Frog, smiles and says "Every time I see you, you look more and more like leif"

"Thank you, Andrias" Polly answered back, then adds "So what systems are we working on today?"

Andrias used his one good arm to gesture to Polly to follow him "This way, young inventor".

As Polly and Andrias start to head up the steps of the Royal Palace, a cry goes out from one of the sentries on duty. "General Yunan…you'd better come and see this" he called out. Yunan ran and used her skills to vault several stairs at a time, until she was stood next to the sentry who called her "what is it, Sentry?" she asked, as the sentry pointed out towards the Marshlands, and the large mass that was approaching from that direction. General Yunan pulled out a small telescope from her belt, extended it and looked in the direction indicated. "Oh. My. Frog!" she went, as she saw what she thought she had seen the last of many years ago, when Andrias, in a last bid attempt to help the Calamity trio, used the Frobot's under his command to try and help the Trio to stop the Core. She had thought them all destroyed...apart from Frobo, as did Andrias, who had ordered them to stop the Core at all costs…yet she was witnessing a mass movement of Frobots, being led by a much bigger, bulkier Frobot in front that she had never seen before. "This doesn't look good…" the General went…then ordered "Shut the main gates, close the outer wall gates. Activate the defences. And assemble the Newtopian Army. If that is what I think it is, we are in for trouble. MI 'lady, you better get inside the safety of the castle".

Lady Olivia turned and headed back up the stairs, following Andrias and Polly into the safety of the castle. Andrias asked "What is it, Olivia?"

"If Yunan is right…trouble" she replied.

Outside the walls of Newtopia, the Frobot army stopped and stood dead still. The bigger Frobot, sitting on a metallic chair, with was levitating by some unseen power, suddenly raises itself up, and the chair rises higher to see over the tall walls of the outer city. The giant Frobot stands up and speaks in a loud voice.

"CITIZENS OF NEWTOPIA. HEAR ME. YOU KNOW ME AS THE CORE,NOW YOU WILL KNOW ME AS FROBOT PRIME, LEADER OF THIS ARMY, AND RIGHTFUL RULER OF ALL AMPHIBIA. SURRENDER NOW AND YOU WILL BE SPARED. RESISTANCE…IS FUTILE...AND WILL BE PUNISHED"

General Yunan heard the warning and shouted back "this is a free land. We will not let you take it without fighting…"

"AS YOU WISH" Frobot Prime replies, then his chair descends. Once back down with the Frobots, Frobot Prime orders "Frobots…ATTACK!"

The Frobot army suddenly activates again, with one wave activating their jet thrusters and flying over the walls, and a second wave heads to the outer defence walls and start to break through.

General Yunan went into her pouch hanging off her belt, and pulled her twin bladed claws out, then ordered "ALL GUARDS. DEFEND THE CITY AND ITS PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHAT!"

Part 4

The Amphibia Gateway reopens.

Polly was in the Castle in Newtopia as the battle began outside. She and Frobo had been working on some of the technology that the castle contained. Along with Andrias, who told them what most of

the technology did as part of his way of making penance for withholding all the technology from the rest of Amphibia, keeping it in an underdeveloped state so it was easier to rule over (under orders from the Core)

Lady Olivia entered the main throne room, where Andrias was showing Polly the power Superconductors that amplified the energy given off by the Calamity Crystals that generated the portal, that not only went to Earth, but to other planets,and other dimensions.

"So if I can get an alternative source of power to run through these superconductors, we might be able to open a portal?" she went to Andrias. Andrias replied "it is theoretically possible…but there is no stronger source of power than the Calamity Crystals…and they have been destroyed by our friends whilst saving us."

Lady Olivia coughed, to signal her entrance "Miss Polly, Master Andrias. How is everything going in here?" she asked. Polly replied "everything's fine, mi'lady…I just wish I had more time so I could test out my theory…"

"What theory is that Miss Polly?" Olivia asked.

"that we could open a Portal to Earth again…" Polly answered. Lady Olivia looked at Andrias, who replied "its not for anything sinister, Olivia…Polly wants to send a message to our friends in…where was it again?"

"Los Angeles" Polly replied, "I want to tell them all about what's been happening here, and maybe see if we can get a message to our friends, Sasha, Marcy and Anne".

"But as I told Polly, we don't have a strong enough power source to open a big enough portal" Andrias went "we might as well forget it…" he added.

"We don't need a big portal…just one big enough to send a message through" Polly replied. She then looked at Frobo, who was stood there gleaming in the sun shining through the open balcony, watching all the other Frobots causing mass panic and destruction. "Frobo…can you help me please?" she asked. Frobo smiled as he turned and walked towards Polly, Andrias and Olivia. Polly looked at Frobo as he came over to them, and he knelt to be at Polly's level.

"Frobo…I'm going to ask you, as you are my friend, would you help us by lending me your power cell?" she asked the big purple robot. Frobo didn't need to be asked, yet because Polly had built him from the remains of an old Frobot, reprogrammed him, and they had done so much together, she felt it only right that she asked him, as she considered him a friend, not a Robot. Frobo smiled, then opened his chest piece, pulled out a power cable and handed it to Polly. Polly hugged Frobo and went "Thank you".

Polly then took the power cable and went over to the control plinth, where the Calamity Box holding the Calamity Crystals once sat, and located a place to connect Frobo's Power cable to. Andrias went over to the Panel connected to the plinth and went and gave Polly a thumbs up. Polly looked at Frobo and went "its all up to you now, Frobo…"

Frobo sat there on his knees, closed his eyes and started to send his power through the connection cable to the plinth. Andrias used his one good hand to punch in the coordinates of Los Angeles, Earth into the panel…but nothing happened. "Please Frobo…More POWER" she pleaded with the robot. Frobo opened his eyes wide, and his eyes started sparking and glowing brightly, as he summoned as much power from his power cell as he could. Suddenly, a small, swirling white portal started to form just in front of the plinth. The swirling mass started to grow, until it was large enough to make out an

image that could be seen in the centre, showing something... she instantly recognised it…

"IT'S THE BOONCHUY HOUSE!" she went excitedly, as she could see a front door, with its distinct red paintwork and house number on the doorframe. Andrias shouted at Polly "the portal is starting to collapse…whatever you are planning on…do it NOW!" he went, as he was struggling to maintain the controls with one hand. Lady Olivia ran over to help the former King to try and stabilise it.

Polly went towards the portal and pulled a note out from the pocket of her Dungaree… instead of pushing the note through the portal as planned, at the last second, Polly went "I'll be back…I promise" she went, then added "Frobo..protect Andrias and Olivia..." she then used her froggy agility and jumped quickly through the portal, much to Andrias and Olivia's shock.

The Portal collapsed and shut as Polly landed face first against the Boonchuy front door, making a thud noise as she hit it. "oh, my Frog…that hurt" she went as she pushed herself away from the front door and stood back, dusting herself off as she did. The red door opens at all the commotion, and Mrs Boonchuy was standing there, looking older than Polly remembered.

"What's with all the noise out…" she started, then looked down in shock "POLLY?" she exclaimed.

"Hi Mrs B" Polly replied and was quickly grabbed by Mrs Boonchuy and pulled inside. Mrs Boonchuy closed the door quickly, then hugged the little Frog Lady "Polly…how you've grown…" she went, then went "Wait a minute…how are You back HERE?" she asked.

Polly looked at Mrs Boonchuy and replied "I…really needed to see everyone again. Amphibia is in trouble…so I've been working on reopening the gateway…I guess it worked" she went.

Part 5

Reassembling the Calamity crew

Mrs Boonchuy called out to her husband "Honey…we have a visitor".

Mr Boonchuy popped his head around the doorframe of the door leading to their Kitchen "anyone we know?" he asked, then saw a young, purple coloured Frog who he thought he recognised.

"Is that…Polly?" he asked. Polly replied, "Hello Mr B…". with that, Mr Boonchuy came around the door and went over to the young frog, knelt to her height and hugged her. Polly hugged him back.

"But how…how did you get back here?" he asked. "Anne told us that the crystals were destroyed when they sent the Girls back to us…"

"I've been busy, working on Newt technology" Polly answered, "I managed to get just enough power to open a small portal, thanks to Frobo." She went, then added "I was originally planning on sending this through…" she went, and then pulled an old-fashioned scroll out of her Dungaree pocket. "But when I saw that the portal was big enough to fit through…I decided to deliver it in person".

Polly handed the scroll to Mrs Boonchuy, who unrolled it and started to read it.

"Frobots are attacking Newtopia. Yunan, Andrias and Olivia are defending the castle. The Core survived" she read.

Mrs Boonchuy had a look of shock on her face, Mr Boonchuy pulled out his mobile phone, and quickly punched in a telephone number, but no one answered, so he left a voicemail. "Anne, its dad. Call us as soon as you get this message. It's very important. Love you." He went, then hung up. He then dialled a second number, and the person responded.

"Mr X, it's Me,Bee Boonchuy. We need your help. Are you still in contact with everyone?"

"Ohh, hello there…of course I am, silly…why do you ask?" Mr X answered.

"there's been…a development. Can you get everyone together?" He asks.

"Sure, I can… just bring your fabulous selves to our agreed meeting point in 1 hour, and I'll do the rest…oh, and if you can, bring some of your fabulous food with you…toodles" Mr X goes, as he hung up the phone.

an hour later Mr and Mrs Boonchuy, with Polly in tow, driving a new Minivan emblazoned with the Thai GO! logo on the side, pulled up outside a large, unassuming warehouse building. its 3 occupants, Oum and Bee Boonchuy, and a young Purple Frog girl, got out and approached a metal door with an electronic lock next to it. Bee Boonchuy went over to the panel, punched in a number combination on the keypad. suddenly a voice went "Please verify voice pattern", so he spoke "Bee Boonchuy"

the voice responded "voice print verified. welcome Bee Boonchuy" . the door makes a clicking noise and popped open. "let's go, everyone" he went and pushed the door open. the two Boonchuy's and their young guest entered the warehouse...as they did, lights started coming on in sequence, when a familiar voice echoes through the building.

"OHH, long time no see, Oum... and you too Bee..." goes the voice, as a well dressed man in a sharp pinkish suit, smart shoes and sporting a pair of black framed glasses steps into the lighted corridor.

"Hello X" goes Bee, and he walks over to him, and shakes his hand.

"is that all i get? c'mere" Mr X goes, as he pulls Mr Boonchuy into a hug using his handshake as leverage.

"It's been a while..." Bee replied, as X eased off on the hug. "here, just for you" Oum went, as she walked forward holding a box filled with various Thai food dishes.

"You know how much i love your cooking, Oum..." X went. Jenny stepped out from behind X on his left, and took the box off her. the group then start walking down the corridor towards another door at the end.

"SO...what's so urgent that you call me on my unlisted number?" X goes, as they stop at the door. he then pulls down his glasses and looks at this red light on the panel. it scans Mr X's eye and displays 'identity confirmed' and the door makes a buzzing noise as he pushes it.

"You won't believe me...you need to see for yourself" he went, as he held the door open for everyone else to enter the room. once inside, they are greeted by everyone they knew from the Battle of Los Angeles 10 years ago...Dr Jan, Terri, and Ally and Jess.

"Hello everyone" Bee Boonchuy goes, as the last member of the group enters the room...Ally and Jess suddenly go wide-eyed as they see...

Part 6

Polly's back...

"POLLY!" they both go exitedly, as they run forward towards her. Polly leaps forward and latches on to Ally, as Jess then surrounds the two of them and hugs them both. " its been a long time..." Polly went to her two Human friends.

"Too long" Jess goes as she loosens her hug. Ally also loosens her grip and looks at Polly. "Look at YOU! all grown up" Ally goes, looking her over "its only been ten years..." Polly replied.

"ONLY?!" Jess goes..."a lot has changed in 10 years"

"Like...?" Polly asked

"well, for starters...they all work for me" Mr X responded. "I'm in charge of a secret Govenrment project dedicated to protecting the Earth from invaders...and they are my Reasearch and Development team"

"You won't believe what we get to work on!" Jess went. Ally nodded excitedly "Everything that was left behind from the fight, we have here...we've rebuilt, reverse engineered and created new technology from everything that was found. Mr X arranged for us to be a part of this, as we all helped to fight off the invading force"

"Besides, darling...i needed people around who knew something about this...technology, and seeing as they helped you with your robot..." Mr X added.

Dr Jan, who had been silently standing there next to Terri, Spoke

"How did you find a way back here, Polly?" she asked

"I've been working on repairing the Technology in the castle. for ages, ive been thinking about how to reopen the portal so i could see to you guys again...but something has forced my hand, and i had to take a leap of faith that the portal worked. Frobo helped me to power it" Polly went, then added "we thought that we'd seen the last of the Core when Anne blew it up...but..."

Polly trails off, then pulls out the scroll from her dungaree pocket, and holds it out, Jess takes it off her and reads it, then shows its contents to the others.

suddenly, a mobile phone rings. and Bee pulls his phone out of his pocket. "It's Anne!" he goes,and answers it and puts it on speaker...

"Hey Dad...you called me, saying it was urgent?" Anne's voice came out on speakerphone

"Hey pumpkin...how was your birthday with your friends?" Bee asked. Anne then replied "If its just a social call..."

"No, no...it's not." he replied "are you still with Sasha and Marcy? i heard she's back in town"

"Yes Dad, i'm still with them..."

"Can the three of you come to the Warehouse District, unit..." "B3" Mr X went quietly

"Unit B3, as quickly as possible" he went. suddenly Sasha's voice cuts in "Hey Mr B...what's going on?"

"Sash!" goes Anne, as she butts back in, then gets interupted by Marcy's voice "HEEY!" she goes, frantically waving, even though it's a telephone call and she cant be seen. "MAR-MAR! SASH! STOP" Anne goes, but she suddenly goes quiet at the next voice on the phone.

"ANNE?" Polly goes. the three girls fall silent, before Anne speaks again

"Polly? is that really you?" Anne asks.

"You won't know unless you get here...NOW!" Polly replies

Sasha's voice goes "I know where that place is...get in my car..." she went, then Anne replies "We're on our way"

20 minutes later, a Red Convertible pulls up outside Warehouse B3. Sasha parks her car behind the Boonchuy MPV already parked outside, when the door on the side of the warehouse opens up and Anne's Mum holds it open. she signals to them to come inside "Quickly!" she goes, as the girls squeeze past her and enter the building, once inside, Mrs Boonchuy leads the girls down the corridor and to the right, into a meeting room set up with video conferencing...and a big sign on the wall saying Human Alien Confrontation and Engagement Respone Squad (H.A.C.E.R.S) Mr X was standing at the head of the table, with Jenny sat next to him. to his Left sat Mr Boonchuy, Mrs Boonchuy sat down next to her husband, with 3 empty chairs next to her. on his Right sat Terri, Dr Jan, Ally, Jess and Polly.

"Anne Boonchuy...it's been a while" Mr X went, then gestured towards the empty chairs

the three Girls walk around the table and sit in the chairs. "Mr X..." goes Anne. she then shifts her gaze towards Polly, who had a booster seat to raise her up to be seen at the table. Polly waves at the 3.

Anne couldn't believe her eyes...the last time she saw Polly, she was a Tadpole that was still growing, she had developed legs just before Anne left...but to see her now, Ginger hair, wearing Dungarees, and carrying a belt around her waist with tools on it. Anne was the first to ask

"Polly...is it really you?"

"You betcha, big sis..." she replied, then went "we'll catch up later...right now, we have a problem on Amphibia...a BIG problem...one that meant i had to come looking for you..."

"What kinda problem?" Sasha asked. Polly looked nervously around, before replying...

"A...Core problem..."

Marcy suddenly pushed her chair back quickly and stood up "NO...WAY!" she went, and leant against the table " We both saw Anne blow that sucker to smithereens!"

Polly looked at Marcy "we all thought the same thing...but somehow...some way...it survived, and built itself a Frobot body unlike any we saw before. it calls itself Frobot Prime, and unleashed a frobot army against all of Amphibia"

"But...how did you get here?" Anne went

"With Frobo's help...he used his power cell to reactivae the Portal in the Palace Throneroom. Andrias and Olivia helped me to get here by staying behind and working it while the castle was being

attacked by the Frobot Army" she went.

Sasha went "so, Amphibia needs its heroes, huh? you know we don't have our powers anymore..." and gestured an explosion with her hands to signify the Calamity Crystals destruction. Polly nodded, and replied "you were the only thing i could think of that could stand against the Core and it's army. General Yunan was leading the Newtopian guards against the frobots...i don't think they will last long, due to the sheer number of frobots compared to guards."

"What about Grime, and the Toad Army?" Sasha asks

"Grime is the Mayor of Toad Town now...Aldo is in charge of the Toad Army" Polly went. Sasha suddenly looked annoyed "He couldn't lead a Snail to a Haystack"

Marcy had sat back down, and had pulled her journal out of her courier bag,and started flipping through it, looking for something. she then stops, and goes "when i was connected to the Core, i could hear all it's thoughts...it tried to hide things from me, but how can a collective consciousness try to hide things when it's doing its best to control you?...it cant. i could focus on individual voices, and hear them as if i was talking to you guys now. not every voice was evil, but unfortunatly most of them only wanted one thing...control...control of everything. the few good voices told me things, like about the backup, thats what must have ejected itself and became this 'Frobot Prime'"

"Wait...you never told me any of this in your sessions, Mar-mar" Sasha went, as she turned to look at her long time friend

"I didn't want you guys to think i was crazier than everyone thought..." Marcy replied "You mention hearing voices to a councillor, and you get shipped away to a loony bin. it was bad enough going through everything with them, and then talking to you guys about it afterwards, especially you, Sash...what with your degree in councilling...and i know you're my friend, but...i was scared you'd have to tell someone what i was telling you"

Sasha turned her chair to face Marcy, and gently took her right hand with her left "there is such a thing as Client Confidentiality, Mar-mar" she went "besides...we ALL went through it...and we all have scars, some physical, some mental"

Marcy smiled smally at Sasha's words. Anne nodded and went "So...how do we get back to help?"

Part 7

the Earth Gateway

Dr Jan, who had been silently listening to everything, spoke up "That's where i come in" she said

"You remember the gateway we built that sorta worked...well, i've perfected it. it uses rythmic vibrations to attune to the resonant frequencies of each individual Dimension that is known, as well as a few unknown ones. with the help of Mr X and this project, we have established pathways to other places and negotiated treaties with several species. we have successfully opened doors to other places for both inward and outward travel."

everyone, apart from Terri, Mr X, Jenny, Ally and Jess and the Boonchuy parents, looked at Dr Jan with surprise.

" B...But HOW?" Anne went "you needed my power to give you the juice needed to open the gateway before. how did you do this?"

Mr X interjected himself "My dear Anne...never underestimate a secret Government agency...we have resources beyond your wildest dreams. do you really think that they pay $30,000 for a stapler?"

Mr Boonchuy went "besides, sweetie...you don't think we'd let you have all the fun, do you? we are Field Agents now, whenever Mr X wants us"

Mrs Boonchuy smiled "We kick butt" she then fist-bumped her husband.

Anne looked at her parent's slackjawed "When were you going to tell me this?" she went with shock in her voice

"Well..." went her dad...

Mr X spoke "Can we have the family discussion later, please?" he asked, then added "Dr Jan...how soon can you and Terri get the Portal ready for use?"

"By the time we warm up the Superreactor...1 hour" Dr Jan replied. "Then do it, please and thank you" Mr X finishd off, then turned his attention to the 3 grirls and the Boonchuy's, as Dr Jan and Terri got up to leave and headed towards the Lab

"Oum, Bee...get you equipment ready for field use. Anne, Sasha, Marcy...follow me. if you're going to go back, you'll need some things" X went, then pushed his chair back, turned on his heels and walked over to another door which he pushed open "Jenny...inform the Pentagon, NASA and the Security Council that the gateway is about to be opened" Jenny nodded her head, got up off her chair and left the room by a different door, followed by Ally and Jess.

the three girls went and followed Mr X out of the conference room and towards a room marked "Weapons store". Mr X punched in a code on the keypad, and the door slid open, revealing a brightly lit metal room filled with weapons of every description, shape, size, style, including weapons never seen before.

"Now...i took the liberty of having these made up not long after what happened, in case we ever had another invading alien force..." X went, then clapped his hands together twice, and three spotlights fell on three lockers, each one with a Brass looking Plaque on it with the girls names...

ANNE BOONCHUY

SASHA WAYBRIGHT

MARCY WU

"Go on then..." X goes, looking excited. the girls each head towards the locker with their name on it, and open them up. inside each locker, was a futuristic, yet medieval styled looking armour, accented with their stones corresponding colour, looking very much like their Final Form Armour. Anne's was White with Blue accents, and had a long Broadsword hanging in a Sheath that went on her back, glowing with an Electric Blue hue in front of the armour. Sasha's was Red with Brown and Grey accents, and had twin short swords, one Flame Red, one Ice Blue, mounted on twin side mounted sheath's. Marcy's was Green, with Brown/ Grey accent pieces,and had a small projectile weapon that was wrist mounted, and a Dagger that hung from a small sheath on a belt. the girls pulled the weapons out from their holders and looked them over.

"I had these made up in case of emergency...Anne, your Sword is made of a special metal not found

on call it Kinetium. it is super strong, lightweight, and charges up via Kinetic energy. the more you swing it, the more potential energy gets stored in the blade, which will release when it hits your opponent. it can also absord hits and store them as energy to use later. Sasha, your Swords are made from more alien metals found during our exploration of other planets. the Red Sword is made from a Mettalic substance that can burst into flames at it's wielders command...we called it Flamion, the Blue one freezes any object it touches, making it extremely brittle and easy to break, again we named it Articium. together they make a powerful attack weapon, and means of defence. Marcy, you have an Energy Bolt blaster that attatches to your wrist, and a short Dagger for personal defence. the Dagger is also made from alien metal scavenged from the remains of Amphibian technology, and can cut into or through anything" Mr X explains.

Sasha smirked as she held the two swords "Dual weilding is the best!" she went, as she stepped back and gently swung the blades around to feel their weight and balance. Anne picked up the Broadsword, felt how light it was, and went "looks like we fight for the Honour of Amphibia again..."

Marcy picked up the energy bolt blaster, and slid it onto her wrist, and asked "How do i..." then before she could finish, the wrist worn device fired off a small bolt that hit the ceiling, bounced towards the floor, made Sasha jump and roll quickly to her right as it was coming at her,bounced at an angle towards Anne, while Anne stood there, holding her sword Horizontally. Anne's blade suudenly absorbed the energy bolt into the blade, and it glowed a little bit.

"SORRY!" Marcy went, apoligising to the others. the other 2 just looked at Marcy, Sasha blinked, then started laughing, and went "Same old Mar-Mar!" Anne lowered the sword from its horizontal position and turned it to look at the blades glowing power "Wow..." she goes. Mr X approaches Marcy and pushes a button on the side of the energy bolt Bow. "SAFETY...PLEASE" he went. Marcy looked at the bow and saw a red light was now lit on the side of the Bracer containing the bow. "Sorry Sir" Marcy replied. Mr X went and explained "the Electro Bolt Bowcaster is reflex controlled. you close your right hand into a fist, and it fires a small energy bolt from its chamber. keep your fist closed to fire off a rapid succession of bolt's...it does have a 5 second recharge though after a quick succession of firing"

the door to the room opens up again, and Bee and Oum Boonchuy are standing there, in their black bodysuit armour, and carrying a large gun each, Bee had a traditional Krabi sword strapped across his back, Oum had a large Phlong staff behind hers.

"We're ready, Mr X" Bee went, as he let the gun swing down his body on it's strap, and pulled his tactical helmet off

"So...we're finally going to see Amphibia" Oum went and smiled as she did the same thing as her husband,both of them tucking the helmet under their Left arm. Polly was stood behind the Boonchuy's, but she gently pushed past them to look in the room

"WOW! Look at all this stuff!" Polly went excitedly. Mr X looked at Polly and went. "I can't send you back looking like that, young Polly..." he said, and then walked over to a wall panel which he pushed. the panel then went in, and slid across revealing a smaller suit similar to the ones worn by the Boonchuy's,with jointed armour plates at the arms and legs, and a selection of small arms and handheld weapons. Polly looked over the choices, and picked up a small Lazer pistol.

"The four of you get changed...i'm going to the Gateway Room to see how we're progressing" Mr X went, then turned around and left the room.

an hour later, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, Polly, and Mr and Mrs Boonchuy entered the Gateway room. standing in the middle of the room, on an elevated platform stood 4 large metal appendages with glowing metal tips, all pointing towards a large metal Circle in the middle of the platform. there was a background hum as Dr Jan, Terri, Ally and Jess were all at various stations surrounding the platform.

"We're ready here,Mr X" Dr Jan went "Gateway is at full power, Resonators are ready, Harmonic Frequencies are balanced...just awaiting the final command..."

Mr X went "Standby..." as he welcomed the newcomers "Welcome to the Gateway Room" he went in his flamboyant style. Jenny stood behind Mr X, taking notes on a tablet.

Anne, Sasha, Polly and Marcy stood there looking around in awe. Anne and Polly had seen this machine years ago, but had forgotten what it looked like, Sasha and Marcy had never seen this..and were awestruck at the device.

"SO..this will take us back to Amphibia?" Marcy asked. she was now dressed in the outfit given to her by Mr X, as was Sasha and Anne.

"You know it, girlfriend" Mr X went. he then looked over towards Dr Jan and went "Engage!"

Dr Jan pushed a manually operated electronic slider up, and the background hum went louder. the tips of the 4 arms suddenly grew brighter, and then shot 4 beams of energy towards the disc on the platform. they intersected and formed a Portal that grew large enough for them to walk through safely...but Polly didn't like what she saw in the Portal...a lot of Smoke coming from the direction of Newtopia, and more smoke coming from other Towns and villages...

Mr X looked towards the Boonchuys, and asked "Do you have your locator recall devices?" Bee nodded, as did Oum. Anne asked "What about us?"

"Your locators are built into your Armours Chest piece, in the Insignia...when you are ready to returm, activate the Insignia, it will send a signal to us, and we will reopen the Gateway. it will remain on standby while you are offworld" X replied

Sasha didn't need to wait to be told to proceed, she drew the two swords, the Red sword burst into Flames, whilst the Blue sword suddenly formed an icy coating over its surface "look out Amphibia...SASHA'S BACK!" she went, then ran towards the portal and jumped through. Marcy stepped forwards slowly, then pushed her hand through, before asking "Is it safe?" suddenly Marcy heard "Come on Mar-mar" and felt her hand being grabbed by Sasha, who was already through. she shrieked as she was pulled through...Mr and Mrs Boonchuy stepped forwards, Oum went through first. Mr Boonchuy turned to Anne and went "There's nothing to it, sweetie...me and Mum have been through this many times" as he then stepped forwards and walked through the portal. Polly looked up at Anne, took her hand and went "Let's go see everyone"

with that, Anne nodded to the young Frog, and the two of them stepped through the swirling portal, and appeared on the main highway linking all the kingdoms of Amphibia...

Part 8

Amphibia in ruins

The two of them stepped forward into the portal, and Anne and Polly were then standing on the main Highway in Amphibia. Sasha, Marcy, Mr and Mrs Boonchuy were standing a little bit in front of them, Sasha had put the icy blade away, and was standing there with the Flame Sword out, held in both her hands. Marcy had turned the safety off on her bolt blaster, and was gently scanning the surrounding area with her eyes. Mr Boonchuy had slung the lazer rifle around his back, and had pulled out the Krabi Sword. Mrs Boonchuy had also shouldered the Rifle and pulled out the Phlong Staff. Anne and Polly walked forwards, but Anne glanced back at the portal, which was slowly shrinking, when she heard Mr X's voice one last time

"Good luck everyone. let me know if you need anything else..." he want, as the portal shut behind them and disappeared. it felt strange to be back somewhere so familiar, yet it also felt different at the same time. Sasha went "if i remember right, Toad Tower is this way..." she went, and started walking, and slid the flame sword back into it's holster. the others started to follow Sasha down the road, each one keeping their eyes open for anything suspiscious. Polly went and asked "Do you hear that?"

up ahead of them, a few flying Frobots were approaching in the air,looking for anything out of the ordinary. Sasha immediatley went "Quick! into the bushes" and ran to the few bushes by the roadside. the others also ran and hid in the bushes, Mr Boonchuy swapped the Sword for the Rifle in case they got into a fight. the Frobots flew overhead and went past them without seeing them. the group breathed a collective sigh of relief. Anne went "We'd better get to safety as soon as possible...we're too exposed out on the road"

"Well, well...welcome back Commander Anne" Sasha went semi jokingly.

"Anne's right" Marcy went "Right now, we have the element of surprise on our side, but will only last as long as we aren't spotted and they don't know we're here..."

Mr Boonchuy went "Time to use these suits special feature..." he said, then flipped his left wrist over and punched a few buttons on the gauntlet, suddenly, the suit shimmered, and he dissappeared from sight. Anne had a look of shock on her face.

"That's not fair...how are we supposed to do that?" Anne cried. her Mother pointed to the gauntlet on their armours and said "push the green, then blue, then purple button in that order. press enter and it will activate the stealth setting...like this" she then punched the buttons in that order, and her suit shimmered and she dissappeared from sight also. Marcy looked to the gauntlet on her left wrist, and saw the various coloured buttons on it. "I wondered what these were for..." she went, then went "Green, Blue, Purple...enter" Marcy disappeared from sight...

the remaining 3 looked at their controls on the gauntlets, nodded, and pressed the button combinations, and the three of them faded from sight.

an hour of walking, and the ruins of Toad Tower loomed ahead of the group. Sasha was the first to deactivate the stealth mode as she approached the tower. she called out "Captain Aldo?"

the others in the group deactivated their stealth mode, and approached the tower also, when all of a

sudden a noise from behind the group makes them all turn, and they found themselves surrounded by a mix of Toads, Newts and Frogs from all over Amphibia, each one armed with a weapon of some description. Captain Aldo stepped out of the tower and went "Who have we caught in our trap now?"

Sasha replied "it's me, Aldo...Lieutenant Sasha Waybright"

"It cant be...you left for your home 10 years ago.." he went, but was suddenly interupted by another gruff voice that Sasha instantly recognised

"You're out of uniform, Lieutenant" the voice goes, then steps down from the shadows of the tower staircase...

"GRIME!" Sasha went, and ran towards the old Toad, and hugged him.

"Easy there, Lieutenant" Grime went "I'm not as young as i used to be" he went, as Sasha eased off, and looked at what he was wearing. "Who's out of uniform,sir?" she asked him, noting his attire, a smart shirt, trousers and a matching Jacket.

"This is my uniform...my...Mayoral uniform..." he went.

"YOU? a Mayor? pull the other one..." Sasha went jokingly.

"Well, temporarily, im an advisor to the Toad Resistance Army...i'm guessing that the message got through to you..." he replied, then looked around at the rest of the group, and saw Polly, dressed in a strange black Armoured bodysuit, with various pouches,tools and a gun around her waist.

"Miss Polly...you did it i see..." he went "our spies in Newtopia told us what happened"

Polly looked at Grime, and asked " What happened in Newtopia, after i jumped through the portal?"

Grime looked sad at having to tell this story "Newtopia was the first to fall to the creature calling itself Frobot Prime. it's forces ovewhelmed the Newtopian Army. Andrias and Lady Olivia have been taken Prisoner, General Yunan was seriously injured in trying to defend the city. she is currently being held in a hospital in Newtopia under guard. a few soldiers managed to escape and spread the word of what happened to other settlements. we have organised ourselves into a small resistance movement to try and take back our land from...that thing."

"well, you can count on us to help you, General" Sasha went, then saluted her former commanding officer.

"Of that i am sure, Lieutenant" he replied, then saluted her back "But...do you still have those powers?" he asked as he bought his hand down from the salute position.

"Unfortunatley not" Anne answered for her as she stepped forwards "But you have us, and everything we have bought with us"

"I see, Anne...and who are they with you?" Grime asked, as he saw the two strangers behind Polly

"Grime...i'd like you to meet my Mum and Dad, Oum and Bee Boonchuy" Anne replied. "they were a part of the team that defended Earth from the invasion 10 years ago."

"A pleasure to meet the parents of one of Amphibia's great protectors" Grime went, then walked over and shook their hands individually.

"So you are who Sasha was talking about..." Oum went, as Grime shook her hand "you had quite a

influence on her"

"Thank you ma'am" Grime replied, then looked over at Sasha with his good eye "nothing...bad i hope?"

"Only that your disipline helped to shape her into the person she now is" Oum answered

Bee walked over and introduced himself. "I'm Bee..Bee Boonchuy"

"Funny looking Bee, sir" Grime replied as he shook his hand

"I can still sting, painfully" Bee replied jokingly,as they broke off the handshake.

"If you are anything like your daughter was, i can believe that" Grime replied

"WAS?" Anne went, raising her voice a bit "Grime, just because we don't have the power of Calamity, doesn't mean we won't do EVERYTHING we can to help"

"Who says you no longer possess the powers of Calamity?" a female voice echoes around the group,appearing to surround them. suddenly, a wind whips up out of nowhere, forming a whirlwind...it dissipates and a familiar looking Newt appears, dressed in white robes.

"Valeriana!" Goes Anne, as she recognises the Custodian of the Second Temple.

"It's been a long time since these old eyes saw the Three Guardians of Amphibia" Valeriana goes, as she looks towards the three Girls. "Mother Olm said that destiny woud return our Guardians to us, to light Amphibia's darkest hour"

"It's good to see you too" Anne replies, but then asks "What do you mean by what you just said?"

"after studying the ancient writings on the walls of the three Temples of Calamity, myself and Mother Olm discovered another prophecy...one that stated that the chosen ones would return to light the darkest hours of Amphibia, and to reignite and restore the crystals." Valeriana went "with the return of the Core, now calling itself Frobot Prime, our days have never been darker. Most of Amphibia is under the control of it's Frobot Army, small pockets of resistance are fighting back against them, but without a leader to unite them as one, they are easily quelled. please, tell us that you have returned to once again free us from the tyranny of the Core and it's army..."

Sasha went and stepped forwards "so, you mean to tell us that we still have our powers?" she asked

"I can sense them within you, young warrior, but they are dormant. you must find a way to wake them..." Valeriana replies "or all hope for a future ends..."

"Great...just what i don't need...Expectation and extra Anxiety" Marcy went, dropping her head. Anne goes over to her friend, and puts her right hand on her left shoulder.

"We'll work it out, Marcy...i promise" Anne goes. Marcy places her right hand on Anne's hand and pats it "Thanks, Anna-Banana..."

Part 9

the powers Foretold

"Quickly, we must go and see Mother Olm" Valeriana goes, and adds "Gather around me. you too

Grime. please, all link hands"

the 3 Girls, Polly, the Boonchuy's and Grime stand around Valeriana as she starts chanting a spell. on the ground underneath them, a circular spellcast appears and starts glowing, it then starts to rotate under them. Valeriana then goes and shouts "ENCANTO VAMOOSH!" the group is suddenly blinded by a bright light, and vanishes from in front of the Toad resistance army and it's Captain...

the bright blinding flash dissapates, and they find themselves in a large chamber, which Anne recognises as Mother Olm's Cavern. Marcy had never seen it before, but got an even bigger shock when a giant Axolotl emerged from the waters in front of them.

"Greetings,Guardians" Mother Olm goes as she rises up to her full height.

"Mother Olm..."Anne goes as she looks at her. "The last time we met, you said it was the last time"

"My child, even an ancient fountain of knowledge can get things wrong on times..." She replies, "Besides, the Great Cosmic Guardian came to see me after you were restored, and told me everything"

Anne pulled a face "Eh hehehe" she went nervously. Sasha, Marcy and the Boonchuys, Polly and Grime all looked at her.

"restored?" Sasha asked.

"So...you did die?" Marcy asked...

"Can we not talk about this now...please?" Anne asked her friends, who were looking at her with puzzled looks on their faces.

"You...DIED?" Oum went with shock in her voice. she dropped the Pulse rifle from her hands, the strap caught it and it swung down to her chest, she then bought her hands up and covered her mouth with them in shock. Bee,seeing his wife do that, also let go of his gun, and went over to comfort his wife.

"Mum...Dad...NO...i'm here, it's really me." Anne goes, then finishes off "what i did, saving Amphibia, the great Cosmic Guardian offered me a choice for my selfless act...i chose to come back, and they granted it"

"Wow..." Sasha went in a monotone voice "I'm going to have to call a colleauge and talk this through with them..."

Marcy went "Better make that session for 2..."

"So...is she a Ghost?" Grime asks Polly. Polly shrugs her shoulders "felt pretty solid to me..." she replies.

Mother Olm nods her head. "Agreed...a discussion for another time. now...you three were chosen as the Guardians of the Calamity Crystals, each one relates to a particular trait you possess. Anne, you have Courage, Determination...and most importantly...Heart. your power comes from your unbridled love for your friends, your family...you just need to look deep inside your Heart to realise your Power. Sasha...Your power comes from your Loyalty to your friends..it grants you the power of untapped Strength. stay Loyal to your friends and you will soon realise your power is within you. and you, Marcy...i never met you before that fateful day, but i know your power comes from your intelligence, your quick thinking...your Wit. each one of you must find the Heart, Strength and Wit that is

currently inside of you, when you find it, your powers will reawaken, and the Calamity Crystals will be reborn"

Mother Olm then turns her attention to the Boonchuy's. "I can sense your confusion, anger...so many unanswered questions...but know this...Anne is, and always will be...your Daughter. never forget that" the wizened old Axolotl went. "Now, i must leave...i grow tired" she goes, as she then slips back under the water and dissapears from sight

Valeriana Looks at the group, and goes "with each realisation of your Heart, Strength and Wit, your power will grow in magnitude. Anne, you held your power for longer than the others, so your power should be easy to find. Sasha, your power will come to you as it did before, but you must use your Determination and Tenacity to bring it under your control, and when you do, it will be the most powerful of the Three..but remember, Strength is nothing without Wit to guide it, or Heart to power it. Marcy...your Intelligence and Canniness is the key to unlocking your power, remember that."

with that, Valeriana goes "and now, we must return..." and begins to chant. the group hurriedly gather around her as they see a spellcast appear on the floor, and start rotating. she raises her voice once again and casts "ENCANTO VAMOOSH!"

Captain Aldo was standing in front of the troops, when suddenly, another blinding flash appears behind him, and the group who had vanished in front of his eyes suddenly reappeared, apart from Valeriana, who was not amongst them, however, her voice carried on the winds "You have been shown the path...it is up to you to take it...farewell, Guardians"

Aldo looked surprised at the group reappearing, and after seeing and hearing everything said by Mother Olm and Valeriana, Grime went "Aldo...i am taking over command of the Resistance" he went, then turned to Sasha "Sasha...you're my Lieutenant again...until either you die, or i find someone better"

Sasha stood to attention and saluted Grime "SIR YES SIR!" she went, with a quivering lip, happy to be back...

he then faced Anne "Commander...the troops are awaiting your orders" he went.

Anne nodded, and replied "alright...if we're going to organise a resistance to stop Frobot Prime, or the Core...whatever it wants to call itself...we need to get ALL the leaders of each resistance group under one banner. send out a representative to each group, tell them this message...to meet here at Toad Tower in 3 days. Mar-mar...can you make a suitable flag for us?"

"You got it...Commander..." Marcy went, as she tried her best to salute Anne, but when she pulled her feet together, she lost her balance and fell forwards face first into the dirt..."I'm OK..." went a muffled comment from Marcy on the floor, as she stuck her right hand in the air and gave a thumbs up...

Part 10

Citizens of Amphibia

3 days later, each Town, Village or Settlement in Amphibia had sent someone to represent them at Toad Tower. the word had gone around that the the Calamity Heroes from Legends of old told to the new children of Amphibia had returned...there was one Frog in particular who was desperate to see if the words were true...

Sprig Planter, elder Brother to Polly, noted Adventurer and Ambassador to the other Islands on the Planet, pulled up on his Snail/Bird hybrid. it landed gently on the ground, and he disembarked. he lifted up his goggles that protected his eyes from the wind whilst riding Anne, his favourite Flying Snail/Bird...and blinked and looked around. Polly suddenly shouts "SPRIG! OVER HERE!" and waves frantically at him. Sprig see's his little Sister, waves back at her and starts walking towards the group that is surrounding a table and discussing tactics with Grime. as he approaches, he notices 3 much taller creatures, and one of them he recognises, even after all this time.

"Anne? ANNE!" he goes

Anne turns around at hearing her name, and notices her long time friend/companion/sidekick/Partner, and goes "SPRIG!"

the two of them race towards each other...time felt like it was slowing down as the two of them embraced each other in a long overdue reunion.

"Sprig...i missed you" Anne went as she held on to the Frog, a small tear formed in the corner of her right eye. Sprig returned the hug equally as affectionatly "I missed you too..." Sprig replies, his eyes reddening as he tried to hold back tears. Sasha glances over her shoulder, smirks, and carries on with the briefing, whilst Marcy, clasps her hands together and goes "Awww" quietly.

Anne and Sprig let go of the hug, but stand there, staring at and holding each other.

"You've grown big, Anne" Sprig went, looking up at her

"So have you Sprig" Anne replied

"I heard from the scouts that were sent out that you were back...i couldn't believe it until now...now i'm sure that everything is going to be alright" Sprig went "Hop Pop was so glad to hear of your return. he's sorry he couldn't come...but...he's an old frog now, and is doing the best he can."

"We'll go see him when this is all over...i promise, Sprig" Anne goes, as she lets him go, but keeps her hands on his shoulder. Sprig had taken on a lot of responsibility since Anne's departure...he ran the Family Farm when he wasn't being an Ambassador for Frogkind on one of his many trips to the other continents of Amphibia, he helped Hop pop to look after Bessie and Joe Sparrow, who had produced some wonderfully weird, yet incredibly useful Snail/Sparrow Hybrids...one of which he named after his best friend.

Sprig looked at Anne, and went "Do you mind if i document this moment?" he askes. Anne just smiles and says "Sure". with that, Sprig goes into his pocket, and pulls out Anne's old Phone in it's pink pussycat case.

"You still got it?" Anne asked with surprise in her voice. Sprig smiled "Polly even made a way to recharge it to keep it working" he replied, then went "Smile!" as he pressed the shutter button and

took a picture.

"oh, Sprig..." Anne went, as she let her arm off of the Frog, stood up, and led him over to the tactics table

"So we're all in agreement then?" Grime goes, as he looks around the war table. nods from each representative signalled their agreement. Sasha stands up and goes "I will lead the initial scouting party. the rest of the Resistance will follow behind, we will surround the City of Newtopia and launch an attack at dawn, when the Sun is rising from the East, giving us an advantage of blinding the sentry Frobots. when we recapture Newtopia from Frobot Prime's guards, we'll free Andrias, Olivia and Yunan. Polly, you will come in behind my first wave, get to the Castle's defences and reprogramme them ,then try to help us by finding Frobo...since he's already inside the city, i just hope he's in a fixable state to help us..."

"Me too" Polly replied " i asked him to stay and look after Andrias and Olivia..."

Sasha replied "I guarantee he did his best, Polly...he's a hero"

"I know...i'm just worried about what they might have done to him..." Polly replies to Sasha

Anne stands next to sasha and Grime "i will lead the second wave, against the far side of the City. the more of us there are fighting on different fronts, the more the frobots and their resources will be stretched...making them easier to beat"

Bee Boonchuy stood next "myself and Oum will lead the final wave...we'll be on clean-up duty, catching any stray frobots that are left. once we retake Newtopia and free Andrias and Olivia it will send a message to this Frobot prime that Amphibia will not quietly lie down and be subjegated"

"Wow Dad, i had no idea..." Anne went, looking at her father in a way she never expected.

Bee looked over at his Daughter, and winked. "we had a good teacher..."

"Alright everybody...get some rest...Tomorrow, we take back Amphibia..." Anne went, as Sasha and Marcy raised the flag with the insignia of the Royal Amphibian Guard on it. a small cheer went up from the gathered masses, and they all left the ruins of the Great hall of Toad Tower and headed to where they were sleeping, in preparation for the morning.

Sprig went over to Anne, and went "just like old times...?"

Anne looked at her Froggy Friend, and nodded "Spranne against the World..."

"Spranne against the World" Sprig replied.

they then high-fived each other, and headed off to their rooms...

Part 11

the storming of Newtopia City

A few hours before Dawn, Sasha and her scouting party arrived at the outer walls of Netwopia City, Sasha noted the number of Frobot's guarding the turrets and city walls, and sneaked closer to the

city walls. she found an opening that had been created by the Frobot's during the initial attack by Frobot Prime and their Army. she signalled to the second party leader, who approached her.

"I'm going in to check the city, wait here...if im not back in 1 hour when the sun rises, begin the initial attack without me, i'll either catch up or have been captured, either way, that make's you in charge" Sasha went. the former member of the Newtopian Guard nodded his acknowledgement at Sasha's orders. she then flipped her left wrist over and punched in the activation code for the stealth armour...

with the stealth setting activated on her Armour, Sasha moved forward quickly, ducking and moving through the brush next to the hole in the city's wall. clambouring through, she found herself in a small alleyway, that led off Left, Right, and Straight ahead. Sasha thought to herself 'i need to get to the castle, so forwards it is...' with that thought in her head, she proceeded forwards, and nearly ran into a Frobot patrol . she pulled herself against the wall of a house and held her breath as the 2 frobot guards walked past her. she breathed a small sigh of relief, when the 2 guards stopped, looked at each other, then span their heads around to face backwards. one of the Frobot's eyes changed colour, and it scanned back behind itself. the Frobot's bodies spun around to face the same direction of their heads and started walking back towards where Sasha was hidden.

'shit' Sasha thought, as one of the Frobots suddenly spoke "HALT OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES"

in the shadows cast by the roof of the house, a Red flame suddenly ignited...and Sasha comes barreling out, the stealth setting deactivated so she can be seen clearly. she slashes the flame sword and it cuts straight through the first Frobot, chopping it in half, then shoulder barges the second, knocking it to the ground. she raises the sword, and plunges it straight into the Frobot's chest. the frobot sparks wildly from the wound, then deactivates. Sasha looks at the two defeated Frobot's, and feels something...her eyes flash Pink for a second, before returning to her normal Blue...

"So much for stealth" she goes quietly to herself, as she then grabs the Frobots one by one and dumps them in the narrow alleyway she emerged from. she then starts to sneak through the narrow streets, until she reaches the central market Square, which is completly abandoned and destroyed, as well as a few of the shops that surrounded the Square. she took up a position behind a large ornamental statue, and pressed a different button on her suit's gauntlet

"Warrior to Leader and Brains..." she goes and speaks into a throat mounted mic in her armour "I'm inside the city at the town square. i ran into a security patrol and had to break cover. i don't think they had time to inform others..." she trailed off "Oh crud" she went as she realised she was surrounded by a small team of Frobot guards. suddenly the Frobot's pounce, and try their best to subdue Sasha, but not before she managed to take out a few others before being captured...

"Sasha? SASHA!" Goes Anne's voice over the earpiece. she is met by the sound of fighting, Sasha screaming, clanking metal and then silence.

Marcy looked at Anne, and shook her head "I think she's been caught,.." she went. Anne suddenly shouted "NOO...SASHA!" as she did, Anne's eyes started glowing a pale Blue, then flashed a brighter Blue. suddenly, Anne was ignited in a bright Blue aura, her hair stood up and glowed Blue.

Marcy went "WHOA! ANNE...YOU DID IT!" with shock in her voice. Grime and the rest of the Toads, Newts, Frogs and other Amphibians cheered. Grime went "Now we're in with a chance!"

Oum and Bee looked at each other and nodded. "you go, honey...we've got your back" Bee went, pulling on his Tactical helmet, as Anne Jumped high in the air, and took off as if she was flying, just as

the dawn was breaking. Marcy climbed up on Joe Sparrow's back (Sprig had gone home and bought him and the other two Sparrow/Snails to the camp) whilst Sprig got on his Snail/Sparrow's back, and the two of them flew up in the air and followed Anne's lead, followed by the Boonchuy's on the third Bird/Snail.

inside the Castle, Sasha was dragged down to the Dungeons by the frobots, put in a cell next to Andrias and Lady Olivia, they then fastened her to a dungeon wall by chains they closed and locked around her wrists and ankles. the frobot's then left, slamming the cell door behind them, and dumping Sasha's swords in a basket outside

Lady Olivia looked over at Sasha, and went "Sasha? is it really you?" she asked. Sasha replied "It's me, your ladyship...looks like my plan worked..."

Andrias looked over at her and went "if your plan was to join us, then you have suceeded..."

"nope...finding you was one part" she went as she stood to her feet, dragging the chains "Although this bits getting interesting..." she said, looking at the unwelcome accessories given to her by the Frobot's. with that, Sasha closed her eyes and concentrated hard, then opened her eyes wide and started pulling against the chains securing her to the wall. Sasha then screamed out "COME...ON...DAMMIT!" her eyes started to flicker...then suddenly turned Pink as her hair started to raise...it then ignited and she was surrounded by a Pink aura. she then pulled her Right hand, snapping the chain, and then the same with her then pulled her right leg hard forwrd, then her left leg forwards, snapping those chains as well... Lady Olivia and Andrias looked shocked,

"BY THE ANCIENTS!" Andrias went "i thought the powers of Calamity were gone!"

Sasha looked at him, then walked over to them, leaving glowing footsteps behind her. she bent the bars dividing the cells,making a hole big enough for her to walk through, then she grabbed the chain holding him to the wall and snapped it like it was a piece of string being cut with scissors, she then went and broke the shackle on Lady Olivia's ankle, freeing her.

"I do believe you follow me..." Sasha went, as she walked over to the cell door, grabbed it and ripped the whole thing out of the wall, and dropped it to her left. as she walked out the cell, she picked her two swords out of the basket, put the red one in her holster, and gently threw the Blue sword to Andrias.

"It's not quite your old energy sword...but you'll find it useful..." Sasha said as she then went and started pulling the doors off other cells, to release the City's captured guards. Andrias held the sword in his one hand, it started to grow to fit his hand, and the blade reacted to his touch, turning Blue and icy cold. he then went and clanged it against a cell door, the whole thing froze, then shattered into pieces.

Outside, Dawn was breaking. all of a sudden, there was a rush of activity outside the walls, as the teams started to move into position. a Blue streak went flying towards the castle and the outer defence doors and portcullis.

"KNOCK KNOCK!" Anne went, as she flew straight at it, shattering a massive hole in both the doors and the portcullis behind it, the rag-tag army of freedom fighters followed her in, being led by Grime. Marcy, up on Joe sparrow's back, was coodinating the attack from above "This is just like my RPG ...Tales of Valour" she went, as she pointed towads the second wave "take the pathway over there..." she went, flinging her right hand forwards. as she did so, her eyes flashed Green, and a load of small marbles came flying out of her Hand, scattering everywhere and exploding on contact.

"WHOA!" she went, as she realised what happened... "alright, guess i'll just...roll with it" she replied to herself, then clasped her hands together, closed her eyes and concentrated. her eyes flash...her hands started to glow Green, then her hair started to glow Green, suddenly she was surrounded by a Green aura...she flung her hands apart, and hundreds of Green coloured D20 dice went flying...each one exploding on contact with a frobot guard.

Sasha comes running out of the Castle, followed by Andrias and all the freed guards, catching the frobots in a pincer attack. Anne see's her, and heads towards her.

"SASHA!" Anne goes as she lands, then wraps her arms around her neck and kisses her.

"HEY...what's that for?" Sasha goes, looking into Anne's eyes

"I...i was worried about you" Anne replies. Sasha looks at Anne and smiles smally "I was worried too...didn't think my plan would work"

"This was your plan?" Anne goes, looking a little confused

"Sure...let them capture me, so they take me to the dungeons where everyone was being held, and organise a mass jailbreak" Sasha went "i'm lucky that Valeriana was right..." she finished off

Anne looked at Sasha "you know your actions bought my powers back..."

Sasha looked at her "Yeah...i can see that" she went, as Anne looked at her and noted how Sasha was also powered up. "I just thought about all our friends here, and thought about everyone important to us...and bam...Super Sasha..."

Marcy suddenly calls from above "HEY GIRLS!" she goes, as she gets Joe Sparrow to land. she then disembarks and joins the other two. the three of them stand there, each looking at the other.

"This is SOO COOL!" Marcy goes, as she see's Sasha and Anne both glowing with the power of Calamity.

"Whoa, Mar-mar...you did it as well?" Sasha asked.

"You betcha...i was up strategising where best to direct everyone, and i just felt something inside me...next thing i know im lit like a Green Beacon..." Marcy replies. the other girls look at her, and then they all embrace in a group hug. as they do, the 3 powers suddenly intensify, and they are all surrounded by a bright White glow. Anne goes "Valeriana was right...the 3 powers combine to make us stronger. Strength is nothing without Wit or Heart".

"then what say we use my Strength, your Heart and Marcy's Wit to kick some Frobot butt?" Sasha goes.

Anne nods. "let's get 'em!"

"I cast a destruction spell...roll for attack!" Marcy goes, as she turns to face the fight going on behind them, shakes her right hand, and opens her palm, a giant glowing Green D20 comes flying out and bowls its way through the Frobots, sending them flying, crushing a few of them and scattering the rest, then exploding as it lands on the 20, and sending the rest towards the Resistance fighters from all over Amphibia. up above, Sprig is shooting off Boom Shrooms off the back of his flying steed from a bigger catapult, each one hitting a Frobot and making it explode.

"YEAH!" Sprig shouts as he blows up another Frobot. Anne gives him a thumbs up, and then lauches herself into the air, pulls out the Broadsword, which charges up with her touch. she then aims towards the Frobots and goes flying through the middle of them, making lots of them explode as she flies past, cutting them in two with the Sword...

"HEY, SAVE SOME FOR ME..." Sasha shouted, as she ran towards more Frobots. she pulled out the flame Sword, which ignited and glowed even brighter and hotter than normal, as it was being enhanced with her Calamity power. Sasha didn't even need to get too close to the Frobot's, as the heat from the Sword was melting them as she went past them.

Meanwhile, under the Catacombs of Newtopia Castle, Frobot Prime had found the remains of what had once been it's home...the central Core. most of it had been removed and destroyed, leaving nothing useful behind for it to use, apart from the Throne that once held Marcy when the Core forced its will upon her body, turning her into Darcy. Frobot Prime stared upon the throne, listening to the fight going on above ground. it then extended a mechanical tendril from its right hand and plugged into one of the screens that remained and activated it, showing what was going on above.

Part 12

the Core/Frobot Prime reveals itself

"This...Is...IMPOSSIBLE!" Frobot Prime shouted as it witnessed its troops being destroyed and overpowered en masse...by a combined force of Frogs, Toads, Newts, Salamanders and every other sentient creature in Amphibia...plus 2 humans it recognised from Los Angeles, and three human Girls it remembered with utter hatred.

Frobot Prime stood up to it's full height, disconnected itself from the monitor, and fired up it's thrusters, and broke through the celings of the castle, until it emerged into the sky above the castle.

"ANNE BOONCHUY!" it screamed as it emerged. everyone turned to face the sound.

"WHOA!" Marcy went as she saw the giant Frobot "IS THAT...THE CORE?"

"WHATEVER IT IS...I'M GONNA KICK ITS BUTT!" Sasha went, as she suddenly jumped up and launched herself at it, Flame Sword glowing brightly. Sasha thrusts the Sword hard at the body of Frobot Prime, but it only scratches the armour. Frobot prime suddenly lunges at Sasha, grabbing her in it's giant hand, then throws her towards the ground hard. Sasha lands hard, forming a crater at the point of impact. she groans as she lay there, her aura fading slightly. Anne lands next to her friend.

"Sasha...?" she went, as she took hold of her hand. Sasha opens her eyes, looks up at Anne and goes "Get...him...girlfriend"

with that, Anne stands up, and powers herself up brighter than she had been, the Blue aura igniting the air around her. she pushes her feet towards the ground harder, and they form smaller craters as she does so, small rocks and other debris begin to levitate and rotate around her.

"I beat you once..." she started "I'LL BEAT YOU AGAIN!" she finished off, as she launched herself at Frobot Prime. moving faster than most could see, Anne hit Frobot Prime several times, leaving dents in it's armour, but not causing any major Prime lashed out with its Left hand as a fist, and thumped Anne head on whilst she was heading in for another attack run, sending her flying towards the ground also. Frobot Prime started chuckling to itself...then looked around and saw Andrias.

"and you struggled to beat this...HUMAN? you're pathetic Andrias" it went as it looked at him.

Andrias looked up at the towering Frobot, and recognised who was currently in charge "no...not you...Father...Aldritch" he went, recognising the demeaning tone of his father who had joined with the Core a Millienia ago

"HEY...ALDRITCH...REMEMBER ME?" another girl's voice shouts, and suddenly a giant Green Boxing Glove comes flying at the Frobot, smacking it directly in the jaw and sending its head spinning around quickly.

Frobot Prime's head stopped spinning, as he grabbed it with his hands. the third member of the group looks up at the giant Frobot, a bright Green aura surrounding her.

"MARCY WU...NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN" it went as it looked down upon her.

"YOU COULD HAVE HAD EVERYTHING. POWER,CONTROL,ETERNAL LIFE...ALL I WANTED IN EXCHANGE WAS YOUR BODY." it sneered at her.

"I'M...NOT...LIKE...YOU...I'M NOT EVIL!" she shouted back, and suddeny a giant Green Chess Rook appears above Frobot Prime, and drops onto it's head, knocking it off balance and making it fall backwards into the Castle of Newtopia.

"But we were so good together..as Darcy" it replied, as Marcy made a giant Green pair of Legs appear and start stomping on the Frobot.

Anne and Sasha struggled to get back up, but were amazed at seeing Marcy kicking butt...

they turn to look at each other, and both go "Wow" as they see Marcy cunjure up a giant Green Dragon, that breathes Green fire right on Frobot Prime's face, pinning it down by laying it's weight across the Frobot's body

"NEVER...UNDERESTIMATE...A GEEK!" she goes, and creates a pair of giant Green hands, and they start to punch Frobot Prime across the face hard, knocking it from Left to Right like a boxer. Frobot Prime struggled to get back to it's feet.

Anne and Sasha get back up, and look at each other. they nod, then power up again. Sasha powers up her Flame Sword, whilst Anne charges up her broadsword and they both fly at Frobot Prime, hitting it simultaniously, this time causing a crack in the large Frobot's body armour.

Anne and Sasha land next to Marcy, and the power surrounding them started to merge, and glowed White, while the words of Valeriana echoes through the air "Strength is nothing without Heart and Wit"

Anne looks over to Marcy and nods, then over to Sasha and nods. the three girls join hands, and the sudden massive expolsion of power knocks Frobot Prime flying, miles away from the city, and the already badly damaged castle.

Part 13

by your powers combined...

Frobot Prime lands hard in the Swamps outside of the city walls, making a huge splash, and leaving a

crater where it landed. the three Girls , each holding the others hand, float above the city walls and move towards where Frobot Prime landed. on the ground, Oum and Bee Boonchuy look up as they are quelling the remaining Frobot forces in the outer walls, along with Grime and the Resistance Army

"GO GET THEM,SWEETIE!" shouts Oum, as she then dispatches another Frobot with her Pulse Rifle

"THAT'S MY GIRL!" goes Bee, excitedly, before using the Krabi Sword to run another Frobot through

Grime looks up at the girls, and salutes them as they fly past "Go get it, Lieutenant" he says , then suddenly swings his War Hammer at a Frobot that appeared in front of him, smashing it's robotic head to pieces with one hit.

the three girls hover near to where Frobot Prime landed, and look down at it, barely moving...

"Well, that was easy..." Sasha goes

"too easy" Anne replied

"umm...girls..." Marcy goes as she points towards Frobot Prime with her Right hand. it had slowly stood up, and was now facing them.

"Did you really think i wouldn't be ready to face you again, without preparing for it?" it went in its voice. it then starts to reconfigure it's body, it's right arm transforming into what looked like some kind of gun...but before the girls can react to it, it fires a beam at them. the beam hits them, and holds them in place...trapping them inside an energy bubble, it then changed colour, and started to drain their powers from them.

"Foolish Humans...you should never have returned to Amphibia. this time...there is no escape for you. i shall drain you of all your Calamity energy, and use it to power my new weapon of destruction...MYSELF...and when i'm done, i shall make you all my PRISONERS, and parade you in chains in front of your friends!" it goes, then begins laughing as it begins draining the Trio of their powers. the three Girls all cry out, Sasha in anger, Anne in disbelief, and Marcy in pain...

Anne, pulling as much power from herself as she can, lets go of Sasha's Right hand and forces her Left hand to grab the Broadsword and pull it out from her sheath on her back. she then brings it around to in front of herself and points it fowards to Frobot Prime "Do you know what this is...?" she asks.

Frobot Prime looked as she pulled the Sword around and pointed it towards him "This...is...a...Kinetium Sword..." she went "and this...is...what it...DOES!" she added, as Sasha and Marcy leant over towards Anne, and placed a hand each on the Swords handle. the Sword started glowing, brighter and brighter, as each girl channeled their remaining energy into the sword...

"FOR AMPHIBIA!" Anne shouted, then the Sword released the stored energy in a single blast, more powerful than Frobot Prime's energy drainer could handle. the gun/arm exploded and ripped off of it's body,sending it flying backwards again, while the explosion not only freed the trio, but also sent them flying backwards as well, making them splashdown in the marshland.

the three girls forced themselves back to their feet. dripping wet from the marshy bogwater, Anne found herself with Leaves and Twigs back in her hair, which had also frizzed up. Sasha was also soaked through, covered in bogwater and mud, her hair a raging Blonde mess. Marcy was the luckiest of the three...she had landed on a small dry patch that only got her covered in dirt and dust, but bruised from the landing. the three of them turn to face each other, look each other up and

down, then burst out laughing.

"I was wondering when you'd get leaves in your hair, Anne" Sasha went, pointing to her frizzed Brunnete mop of hair.

Anne replied "You should see your hair, Sash..." pointing at it

Marcy went "But what about Frobot prime...?"

the three looked around, and saw the smoking remains of an oversized Frobot, laying partially buried in the bog, only it's head and chest remaining intact. it was sparking and cursing the three of them as they approached it cautiously

"No..ooZZZ!..ooo" it went, "you can...not ZZZ!..defeaaa..ZZZ...me" it went sparking and sputtering.

"Face it, Core...this is the second time we beat you..." Anne went, standing over it with her hands on her hips, in a superhero style pose.

"And...the Last..." Marcy went, as she knelt down next to the battered and broken body. she looked at the chest area, and pushed the insignia on it's chest. the chest piece opened up, and Marcy pulled it open fully,revealing the insides of the Frobot.

"Mar-mar...what are you doing...?" Anne asked, as Marcy put her hand in the chest cavity and pulled out a long rectangular box, with a red eye in the middle of it...

"Wait...SssSSttoop..." the Frobot's voice pleaded as Marcy pulled it out, ripping the wires out and removing it from the body. Marcy turned the hard drive around, and looked straight at the Red, glowing eye. she then placed it down on the ground and pulled her Dagger out.

"You...will never control anyone... or anything...ever..." she starts, then plunges the Dagger straight into the centre of it "...AGAIN!"

the eye shatters, and the hard drive stopped spinning as the blade penetrated the eye and the body

"NOOoooOOoooO" went the Frobot as the hard drive died, along with Frobot Prime. Anne and Sasha just looked at Marcy.

"What?" she asked "You didn't think i'd let it go? it's too dangerous to survive...this way, theres no way back for it"

"Marcy..." Sasha started "Normally, i'd say something like...it's good to work through your anger issues...but this..."

"This way, Sash...the Core will NEVER hurt anyone...ever again" Marcy replied "it's over, Sasha...the Core is finally destroyed"

Marcy stands up, then drops the Dagger , which falls to the ground and lands next to the now destroyed Core Harddrive. the other two girls, Sasha and Anne, go over and Hug their best friend.

"It's over..." Marcy cries "Amphibia, and myself...are finally free..." she went as they embraced each other...

Part 14

Amphibia is free!

the three girls walk back slowly towards Newtopia. as they are approaching, they can hear cheering and celebrations going on.

"What happened?" Anne asks as they approach the outer gates and ask a random Frog fighter

"We did it! we won! every Frobot everywhere just...stopped!" he went, he then ran back cheering "WE WON!"

Sasha looks over towards Anne and Marcy "Well, Mar-mar...looks like when you destroyed that Core, you stopped ALL the Frobots, everywhere" she went

suddenly, she hears "ANNE! SASHA! MARCY!" YOU DID IT!" as Sprig lands Anne the Bird/Snail and jumps off, and runs straight to Anne, jumping up at her. Anne catches him and he hugs her.

"No Sprig...WE did it...EVERYONE stopped the Core this time" Anne replied. Sprig smirked as he looked at her "You have leaves in your hair..." he went.

Sasha laughed, a big, loud laugh that she hadn't done in a long time...Marcy joined in laughing

"What's so funny?" Anne goes, as Sprig also starts laughing.

"Nothing..." Sasha goes " sometimes its good to laugh" she added, so Anne started laughing too

a few hours later, everyone was celebrating the defeat of the Core/Frobot Prime in the grounds of what was left of Newtopia Castle. Lady Olivia sat next to Yunan, who was wearing a sling on her Left arm, Andrias, who now had no chain restricting his movement, and the three Calamity Heroes...Anne, Sasha and Marcy. to their Right, sat Oum and Bee Boonchuy, Grime, Sprig, Polly and Frobo, who Polly had revived using the power cell from Frobot Prime...

Lady Olivia picked up her Goblet, and tapped it with a spoon, everyone went quiet.

"Today...was a day to remember in the annuls of Amphibia history." she went "10 years ago, 3 strangers came to our land from a far away place, and changed not only the course of our history, but also our understanding of other places, other species. our three Friends from Earth, bought to each of us for different reasons, yet all three became not only our friends...but Guardians of Amphibia. today, 10 years after what we called the Great Battle for Amphibia ended, a second battle took place, and our friends from Earth returned to once again help us. once again, we owe the three of you, Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright and Marcy Wu. our eternal gratitude."

with that speech made, Lady Olivia raised the Goblet and went "to our three Guardians..."

the gavered crowds all raised their drinking implements and went "CHEERS!", then began applauding them

"We mustn't celebrate too early, Mi'lady" a voice goes from the back, and the crowd starts to part as a one armed Newt walked forwards.

"Valeriana" goes Lady Olivia "what brings you here?" she asks

"Our Guardians know why i am here..." she replies, as she looks at them

Anne stands up "you mean the part of the prophecy that states the Calamity crystals shall be reborn?" she asks

"Yes, Anne of Earth...it is time" Valeriana goes

Marcy looks at Valeriana and asks "So...how do we do this?"

Valeriana smiles, and replies "Step Fowards, Guardians of Calamity"

the three girls stand up, and walk around the banquet table, and stand in front of Valeriana, who pulls her magic staff from out of her empty sleeve. "The same way that we tansferred the power of calamity back to the crystals, so it will create new crystals" She went, then added "this wont hurt..."

Valeriana begins waving her staff around, and drawing mystical patterns in the air, 3 small, clear crystals appear, then begin floating towards the three girls. they stop a few inches from each of their foreheads, then their powers activated by themselves, raising the 3 of them off the ground, each one surrounded by their coloured aura, the aura starts to rise up from their feet, up their legs, midsection, chest, then head, growing smaller with each passing second...until it forms a point on their foreheads, and the power shoots from them and into the three blank crystals. the crystals absord the power, and start glowing with each colour...Pink, Blue, Green...then the girls are gently lowered back to their feet.

"It is done" Valeriana went, as she held her hand out, and the three crystals floated towards her palm, then settled on it. she closes her palm around the three crystals, a small flash, and she opens her palm again, the crystals are nowhere to be seen.

"I have sent the crystals back to their temples...to await the next worthy Guardians...i shall be waiting for them" Valeriana went

"You'll be waiting...wait, how long was it before we came along?" Sasha asked

Valeriana smiled "a few Millenia..." she replied, then said "Farewell Guardians" and disappeared in front of everyone with a flash of light.

"A few...Millenia?" Sasha went..."How old is she?"

Anne smiled, and patted Sasha on the back "Don't try to work it out...you'll fry your brain"

Macy went "ohmygod! so the crystals are hundreds of thousands of years old, and they were inside of us for the past 10?"

Sasha looked at Marcy "Mar-mar...stop being such a nerd..."

a few days later, back in Wartwood, Anne, Sasha and Marcy were all saying their farewells to everyone. Hop pop had made sure he was there to see them off, even if he was 'an old frog these days' , stood next to him was Sprig and Ivy, who was holding on to two Tadpoles, Polly, Frobo, and surrounded by the rest of the inhabitants of Wartwood. as well as their friends from all over Amphibia, Grime, Andrias, Lady Olivia, Yunan, Andrias and a few palace guards that accompany them every time Lady Olivia goes out.

"So this is really it this time?" Sprig goes, looking at Anne

"I...guess so" Anne replies

"But...we never got to explore the other continents...together" he went. Anne squatted down and looked at Sprig

"no matter where you go, what you do...i'll always be with you..." she went, then touched her first finger to Sprigs forehead "right there" she went "as long as we're friends, we'll always be with each other"

Marcy chimed in "She's right, Sprig...years ago, i thought i would lose everything, and i hatched a stupid plan that bought us here, instead of doing the one thing i should have done...talking to my friends" she went, then grabbed on to Sasha's Left arm. Sasha turned to look at marcy and smiled

"Same old mar-mar..." she went, patting her hand with her right

Hop Pop went over to Anne, and hugged her "you know we all missed you, Anne..." he went, as he gently broke the hug

"i miss you guys all the time...but thanks to my work, i get to talk to you every day" Anne replied "i'm a Herpetologist...and the Curator of the Amphibian exibit at the LA musum of Natural History"

Hop pop nodded "i see...have you seen Humphrey recently?" he asked

"well, he does pop around every so often..."Anne replied

"Tell him i said hello..." Hop pop added. Anne nodded.

Her father, Bee, walks up and said "i hate to break it up...but they're ready to open the portal..."

"Sure thing, Dad..." she replied as she stood up and walked over to join Sasha, Marcy and her mum and Dad.

Lady Olivia waved at the group and spoke "feel free to return to see us anytime...you have the freedom of Amphibia, all of you"

"Thanks Lady O..." went Marcy, then added "Yunan...look after her, ok?"

Yunan nodded, and spoke "on your orders, and with all my heart, Master Marcy"

Oum pressed the recall button on her gauntlet, then spoke "Energise".

in front of the group, a small swirling mass gradually grew bigger and bigger, until it was big enough to not only see the Gateway room, but Mr X and Jenny, who were standing the other side waiting. Jenny was making notes on her tablet.

"Guess our ride's here..." Sasha went, and walked through the portal, Bee and Oum walked through next, followed by Marcy. Anne was the last one standing there, looking through the portal, she then turned her head around and went "I guess this time it is seeya...but we can come back, with Mr X's permission..."

Mr X went "I heard that...Ms Boonchuy..."

as Anne turned to face the portal,and began walking forwards, everyone behind was waving and shouting their goodbyes. she stepped through the portal, and turned to look back. she waved and went "We'll see each other again...i promise" as the portal shrank and disappeared.

Epilogue

a few days later, at the Museum, Sasha came to pick up Anne from work. Anne was busy closing up the exibit for the evening when Sasha walked in, Anne was stood there with a small Poison Dart Frog on her First finger and thumb, chatting to it.

"Hey Anne..." Sasha went as she walked in the exibit room. Anne was in her work uniform.

"Hey Sasha..." she replied, as she then put the little Frog back in the exibit case, and closed it up

"So...how are they doing?" she asked. Anne turned to look at Sasha "They're OK...was just saying goodnight..."

"You miss them, don't you?" Sasha asked

"Yeah, i do...at least we all know they are finally safe" Anne replied, then went "So, whats on the agenda for tonight?"

"well..." Sasha started "first off, we're going back to my place so you can change into something more comfortable...then Food, then Marcy is coming over to join us, with her new Board Game she wants us to try out, before it goes off for final inspection and commissioning..."

"I'm glad Mar-mar moved back here..." Anne went "as much as things changed with us, one thing never did..." she went, and took hold of Sasha's hand "who would have thought that a Rebel with no clue, a Cheerleader with attitude and a clumsy Gamer Nerd would be best friends forever...?"

"Yeah..." Sasha went, as her cheeks flushed a bit, but suddenly Sasha's Mobile Phone goes off in her skirt pocket. she pulls it out, looks at Anne and goes, "sorry...withheld number...might be a client,just a sec..." then answered the phone

" Dr Sasha Waybright speaking..." she answered

"Sasha...good to hear you...it's Mr X" goes the voice "can you get hold of Marcy and Anne at all?"

"Anne's with me now, and Marcy's coming over to our place later, why?" Sasha replies

"Oh, no reason...just a new World that needs exploring and contact made with the indiginous species..." X went

"Really? what kind of World?" Sasha asked with interest

"You'll have to get here to find out..." X went, teasingly...

Sasha looked at Anne, who was shaking her head "but what about our plans?"

"Change of plans..." she said to Anne , then went "we'll be right there, Mr X" as she hung up her phone and slipped it back into her pocket.

Anne looked annoyed "I was looking forward to a relaxing evening with my Girlfriends..."

"Aww, c'mon Anne...Don't tell me you've lost your sense of adventure...?" Sasha went, as she gently pulled her by the hand and led her out of the World of Amphibia Exibit...
