Out in the desert, a small traveling merchant rode on top of a camperupt as they were on their way home as the merchant was singing about it which was the kingdom of Pantoran.
His Camperupt was getting tired from traveling and from carrying the traveling merchant on his back. so they stopped near a marketplace so that the camperupt can rest. So that both of them can take a break from their long travels. Then the traveling merchant notices a camera. He turned to face it and told it to come closer but it came a little bit too close for comfort " will hello my friends, please come closer" The merchant said to the camera. Then the camera zoomed up to the merchant's face making contact with the camera lenses. " ugh that is way too close, personal space please, I can't breathe" he said. Then the camera zoomed out and stand right in front of the merchant. " huh that is much better, Welcome to Pantoran City of Romance, Adventure, and the best shops around. He said as he took out some items to show to the camera but he was not interested in those items. Which almost made the camera leave until the traveling merchant told it not to leave. " Hey, wait please don't leave. I see you are only interested in things that are rare and special. I say I can consider this Pokeball then. He said as he took a golden pokeball out of his back pocket. " Yes, a Pokeball but don't be fooled by the way that it looks it is all about what is on the inside that matters. Yes, it may look different than a rather old Pokeball but there is a story behind this Pokeball. This Pokeball once changed the course of a young man's life" The merchant said in a mysterious voice which got the camera interested in listening to the story.
" a man who liked this Pokeball was more than what he had seen, A diamond in the rough. Said the merchant who was happy this got the camera's attention. Would you like me to tell you the story, gather around everyone, and let me tell you the story of Ash the street Raticate? Said the merchant as this got the camera to gather around him so that they can listen to the story.
"our story begins on a dark night outside the kingdom of Pantoran where a dark man and his Meowth wait for a dark purpose." that was the last thing that the merchant said. This is where our story begins.
Somewhere outside the kingdom of Pantoran, an old man was waiting for a thief to bring him some golden Pinsters that will help him look for a very special cave that holds a very special treasure that he has been searching for years, beside him sitting on his shoulder was his partner Meowth. The man was wearing a black and red Turban and had gray hair that was down to his back. He had dark black eyes. The rest of his outfit was all black and red. This man is named Coronal Hanson he is out here so that he can find this Mysterious Cave, Then a thief came up to him so that he can give him what he wanted. " Took you long enough. So do you have it" Coronal Hanson asked as he looked at the thief. " Yes. I have to cut some throats of trainers to get it but I got it in fact first I like to get paid upfront" The thief said as he raised out his hand hoping that Coronal Hanson will give him some payment. Until he felt something bite his hand and it was Meowth who got the golden pinsters and handed it over to his master. "
Don't you worry my friend, After I find this cave you can have all the treasure that you want?" Coronal Hanson said as he placed two of the keys together. When the keys were put together they started to glow and raised up into the air and flew towards a sand hill. Which was what Coronal Hanson has been hoping for. So he and the thief follow it all the way to a sand hill. " Come on follow them and hurry" Coronal Hanson ordered his Rapidash as it dashed through the sand as he was running as fast as he could to catch up to the pinster keys. They stopped following it once it reached a sand hill.
When the keys were set in place a giant Growlithe head appeared out of the sand and opened its mouth wide open ." At last after all my years of looking. I have finally found it, the cave of wonders" Coronal Hanson gasps with delight.
" So this is the great cave of wonders So what are we going to do now," asked the thief. Coronal Hanson just gave him a look like that was the stupid question you could ask me. " This is what I am going to do. I will stay here while you go in there and fresh me what I have been looking for, the golden Pokeball. You can have the rest of the treasure except for that golden Pokeball, you got that now go and don't keep me waiting" Coronal Hanson said as he pushed the thief towards the giant Growlithe.
The thief was scared to walk towards the cave since it was so big and didn't know what could be inside of it but all he knows is that there is treasure inside. With that in mind, he walked slowly towards the cave. When he got closer the growlithe head roared which got the thief to stop walking and look up at the cave. " Who has woken me from my slumber" the growlithe head roared which made the thief fall on his back to make him face the giant head. " It is me just a humble thief," Said the thief as he picked himself up and bowed before the cave.
On the sidelines, Coronal Hanson and Meowth were waiting for the thief to go inside but Meowth was complaining about how useless the thief looked and wanted to know where Coronal Hanson found someone like him so he turn to Coronal Hanson about the thief that he got and asked. " Where did you find this loser from," he asked. " shuu be quiet Meowth. I am trying to listen" Coronal Hanson said to his Meowth.
" Not so fast you are not the one that can enter here, only one can enter this cave, the one whose worth lies within his heart, the diamond in the rough." the cave head said
but the thief just looks back at coronal Hanson to see if he should continue going. Coronal Hanson just told him what are you doing? go in already Hanson said to him. The thief ignored the cave's warning and just continued to make his way over to the entrance but before he could make another step realizing that he was not listening the cave turned back into a sand hill and killed the thief along with it. Once the cave was closed the last words that he said to Coronal Hanson " Seek out the diamond in the rough" those were the last words from the cave before it turned back into a sand hill. This caused Coronal Hanson to cry out the word No as loud as he can.
" Wow that was pointless, geez where did you find this guy anyway he was completely useless," Said Meowth as he picked up the keys and handed them over to his master.
" Don't worry Meowth at least we found the cave's location now all we need to do is find this so-called diamond in the rough. Said coronal Hanson said
" So where are we going to find this diamond and how are we going to find it," asked Meowth. " don't worry Meowth we just need to find all the diamonds that are in the palace I am sure the diamond that the cave is looking for is in there. Now come on let's go back to my pointless job being a royal vizier He said as he got back on his rapidash and head back to the city of Pantoran. " oh once I get my hands on that poke-ball I will be the most powerful being in the world and everything that is in it will be mine to command" Coronal Hanson said as he and Meowth headed back into the city so that they can find this diamond and hoping that they can find it in the palace but what they do not know is the diamond that they are looking for is not a jewel but a person.
When they got back to the palace coronal Hanson and Meowth took every book about jewels and looked for every jewel there is but they can't seem to find anything about this diamond or where they can find it.
They have been looking at every diamond that they can find or any book about this diamond but they can't seem to find it anywhere. This search has taken them all hours of the night ever since they got back to the palace.
" ugh have you found anything Meowth," Coronal Hanson asked annoyed that he couldnt find anything. " No Coronal Hanson. What are we going to do now? We have checked out all the books and looked at every Diamond are you sure that this Diamond is real" Meowth said to him
" Oh Meowth of course it is real if it wasn't real then why would the cave tell us to go and look for it. You are not going to be real, for much longer if you keep on stopping. There has to be a way where we can find this Diamond. Coronal Hanson said until he had an idea.
" Wait Meowth I have an idea how we can find this diamond all I need is the Sultan's ring which will fit perfectly in my hourglass then it will reveal to us the Diamond that the cave of wonders wants us to find," Coronal Hanson said. " oh that is a good idea, But how are you going to do that. You know that the Sultan is too busy finding a husband for his daughter who will take the thrown." Meowth pointed out. " I have my ways," Coronal Hanson said with an evil smirk that came on his face. As he went to a nearby closet and pulled out a scepter that he will need to control the Sultan's mind about giving him his ring it is the only way that will unlock his hourglass.
" Come along Meowth we can't keep the Sultan waiting and by the time he finds a prince for the princess, it will be until 3 days until he finds her a prince to marry. So we have all time in the world for me to ask him to give me his ring." Coronal Hanson said to his Meowth as they were heading up the stairs that lead to a secret location of the palace.
Coronal Hanson and his Meowth started to make their way out of the lab so that they can go find the Sultan. But Meanwhile outside the Palace there was a huge marketplace that was filled with lots of food and jewelry to sell but sadly not a lot of people can buy them most of the people of Pantoran or mostly poor which causes a lot of people to steal in other to survive. But we will head down to see what is going on in the marketplace and we will meet a Street Raticate and his pikachu in the next chapter they who are forced to steal food in other to live. Let's see what is going to happen to them will they be able to get away with whatever they have stolen? Will the Guards be able to catch him or maybe there is more to this street Raticate than what everyone thinks? Will they be able to see that he is more than just a street Raticate but just a poor boy We will learn more about this street Raticate in the next chapter. The next chapter we will meet a street Raticate named Ash and his pikachu who are hungry but they don't have any money so just like everyone else who is poor in this kingdom they will have to steal. So let's see what type of food will they steal, Will they be able to get away from the guards? We will not know until the next chapter. So I hope you all love this chapter and this story.
