It was a nice and beautiful morning in the Marketplace of Pantoran. Until someone shouted from the distance " STOP THIEF" It looks like it was going to be another typical day in Pantoran. The marketplace is a huge shopping area where people can buy a variety of food, clothes, Jewelry, etc. But most of the citizens in Pandron are poor which causes a lot of stealing. The citizens will often steal food just so they can survive. Stealing is one of the biggest crimes in this kingdom even if it means they are just trying to live. The theft comes in so many shapes and sizes. People always have to be on the lookout for any theft as well. They take stealing seriously in this kingdom. But every thief is a lot different than the others. Some are fast and smart than others.
So anyway speaking of stealing there was a handsome man that was wearing a vest he was wearing nothing underneath. He was very tan and had a muscular body. He wore tan pants that had holes in them. He wasn't wearing any shoes. The last thing he was wearing was a small crimson hat. He looked like he could be 17 years old. He have raven black hair with z marks on his cheeks and he was very skinny as well due to the fact of being hungry. He was dressed like a bagger. Many would call this man a Street Radicate and just like everyone else in this kingdom he had to steal to survive, but his real name is Ash. He was not alone with him was a cute little electric mouse named Pikachu. They are trying to decide what they should eat today. As they were figuring out what they should eat. They smelled something delicious that was coming from the bread stand.
" Say Pikachu, what do you want to eat today," Ash asked his Pokemon partner. " pika, pika, Pikachu," said Pikachu. Which meant " I don't know what I want to eat today.
They stopped in their tracks until they smelled something that smelled delicious" Ash said "Hum, Pikachu do you smell that? That bread smells good. Let's grab a piece of bread from that bread stand, this is how we are going to do it. I will try to snatch one when the bread seller isn't looking. You can be my lookout when you see a guard" Ash said to Pikachu. Pikachu just nodded which caused Ash to scratch him on the back of his ear and giggled. " thanks buddy" said Ash as he placed Pikachu on the ground. Pikachu stands on the other side of the bread stand so that he can keep a good eye on his trainer and see if any guards were coming. He also didn't want to get stepped on by other people that were walking by.
Then he quickly climbed on top of the tent that was above the bread stand. To make sure the bread seller was not looking. Then he waited for the right moment to steal the bread. So as the man was not looking Ash was hanging upside down so he can grab a slice of bread. The bread seller was just done baking the bread and started to place them around the stand. The smell of the bread was overcoming Ash's hunger. So when the bread seller was organizing his bread. Ash was hanging upside down to see what is the perfect time to grab one. But when Ash was just about to grab one. The bread seller noticed him trying to grab a piece of bread. Once he saw him he called the guards which caused Ash to grab a loaf of bread and ran up to one of the roofs of the houses. " STOP THIEF" Bread keeper shouted which got the attention of a group of guards that were patrolling the area. They came up to him and asked " What seems to be the problem here?!" The captain of the Guard said.
" It's him again sir, the street Radicate stole one of my bread," the bread seller said. The guards just huffed and were annoyed knowing who he was informed to. " ugh not that pesky Street Radicate again. Don't worry he will not get away this time, let's go men. Do you know where he went? The leader of the Guards asked. " yes he ran up to the roof" the bread seller said as he pointed to the roof that Ash ran up to.
After Pikachu saw what just happen he ran up to try to catch up to his trainer which is going to be hard because he is a very fast runner.
" Thank you for this information let's go men and this time he will not get away from us," Said wake who was in charge of the guards and the one that hates Ash the most. After Wake said his order he and a group of soldiers ran to the top of the roof so that they can catch up with Ash. But as soon as they were about to run up to him. Ash was still running and jumping on each building until he came up to a clearing. He was about to jump over to the other house until he saw how far he will have to jump. He turned around and noticed that there was no way to turn back because the guards were coming his way. " Oh it's so good to see you Wake and your men what a lovely morning isn't it, " Ash said trying to get on the captain's good side. Not until I have your arms as a trophy street Radicate. Wake shouted as he threw out his sword so that he can be ready to swing it at Ash's head. " Oh come on Wake do you think this is going a little bit too far cause come on it's just a loaf of bread," he said but Wake wasn't listening he was about to swing his sword over at him. Until Ash noticed a clothesline and decided to use it to make his getaway, He ziplined across a woman who was hanging her laundry when she saw Ash was about to crash into her. she closed the door right before he was about to hit it. After he crashed into the window. He fell into a pile of clothes which was a good place for him to hide from the guards. But when the bread was about to hit the ground he grabbed it with his hand. As he was using a sheet that he was using as a robe and shorts that were on top of his head. So that the guards wouldn't see him but sadly they did. " There he is. You will not get away from us that easy" a guard shouted who was still on the roof. Ash just laughed at them thinking that they thought that was easy.
Until he noticed a couple of old ladies who were laughing at the stunts that he just did. He was about to go over to them to say hello until he heard Wake and the other soldiers who came down from the roofs since they saw him coming down from there. " You two, you go that way, and you will come with me, We will find him," Wake said as he was giving out his guards their orders. Then Ash placed the sheet around him like it was a robe and kept the shorts that fell on top of his head hoping that the guards didn't see him. So he went over to the ladies who were laughing at him as he came over to them trying to hide from the guards " Good morning ladies" Ash said to them. " Don't you think it's a little bit too early to get into trouble Ashton? " one of the ladies said to him. " who, me, trouble, and please call me Ash, and No way you are only in trouble when you get caught?" Ash said but just right on cue "Gotcha" Wake said as he pulled him by his vest and made Ash two inches away from him he can even smell his breath and said " Now, I'm in trouble" Ash said nervously. " and now this time-" Wake was about to say until he felt someone pulling his hat down to his face and it was no other than Pikachu who finally caught up to him. " Perfect timing Pikachu as usual," Ash said as he was giving Pikachu a slight salute. Pikachu was also wearing the same vest that Ash was wearing and he was also wearing the same hat as well.
" Pika" Pikachu said as he took a bow and jumped onto Ash's shoulder as they ran into a guard's chest. " Come on let's get out of here," Ash said as they almost crashed into a guard who was about to swing his sword at him until Ash went under him and pulled the guard's pants down revealing his underwear which got the rest of the guards to chase Ash and Pikachu up a mountain of barrels which led them to a very high tower with Pikachu sticking out his tongue at them.
As they were climbing Ash kicked the barrels on top of the guards as he and Pikachu were climbing up to the tower. The guards knew that they couldnt reach him now so they decided to throw nearby food and weapons at him and if that did not work they will shake the tower hoping that will cause Ash and Pikachu to fall. But they keep on moving out of the way so that the food missed them.
" oh come on guys I am just a broke boy who just wants to have a little snack, We just want to eat to live it's that so much to ask". It is no wonder you are my only friend Pikachu Ash asked as the guards were shaking the tower.
Ash and Pikachu were figuring out how are they going to get down the tower until Ash noticed a rod and used it to swing him and Pikachu into a nearby window. He realize that he was inside a house that belonged to 3 girls who happened to be dancing. They stopped dancing once they spotted Ash near the window. Ash was nervous to speak to them since they were very pretty. " ugh look who it is it's Ash I hope that there is a good reason why you stopped us from dancing. one of the dancers ask him.
" Will I'm sorry Ladies I was just looking for a place to hide from the guards?" Ash said to them nervously hoping that they will understand. " ugh No way we will not hide a dirty street Raticate in our house. Now get lost" one of the dancers said as they pulled him by his arm and threw him into a woman who was sweeping the floor. While the girls were trying to get Ash to leave Pikachu was in the kitchen helping himself with some fruit. He stopped eating when one of the girls grabbed him and tossed him over to Ash who landed on his shoulder . " ugh why is there a trespasser in my house have your parents taught you some manners boy, oh yeah that's right you don't have any." Said the lady as she swung her broom at Ash which made him do a small bow so that the lady missed him. Which sent him toward the girls that threw him and Pikachu toward a window.
One of the girls came over to the window and pushed Ash and Pikachu out of it. They fell right behind a Machamp who was showing off his muscles. Ash copied the moves that it was doing but he failed because he was spotted by Wake and his men.
" There he is," Wake said to his men as they ran over to Ash who left the Machamp and headed towards a flock of Mareep which were blocking the guard's way to get to Ash but that didn't stop them they just picked them up and throw them out of their way. Ash got off of the Mareep and started to run away again as the guards were still chasing him. As Ash was running he realize that he lost Pikachu.
He looked all over the place until he found him at a Jewelry stand he was covered head to toe with jewels which made the shopkeeper mad. He grabbed the necklace off of Pikachu and said "Get your paws off of my shiny jewels. the Jewelry saler said to him. Ash came over and told the man that he was sorry that his Pikachu was causing him trouble. He grabbed the necklace that Pikachu was wearing and gave it to him. He just snatched it out of his hand and told them to get lost or he will call the guards which is what he did. " Pikachu. I am sorry sir, My Pikachu doesn't know any better" Ash tried to explain to the man but the man just called the guards and told them to arrest them.
This just caused Ash and Pikachu to continue running as Ash said to Pikachu. " Come on Pikachu we have no time to look at Jewelry we have to think of a way how we going to lose the guards and what were you thinking of going to the jewelry stand now we are in even more in trouble" Ash scolded at Pikachu.
Pikachu went back to sit on his trainer's shoulder until he saw a man that had a sword in his mouth. This gave Pikachu an idea so he jumps off of Ash's shoulder hoping it will give Ash enough time for him to run as he keeps the guards busy. So he went over to the man that had the sword in his throat and grabbed it and stood right in front of the guards as he was showing off some fighting poses with it.
When the guards saw Pikachu had a sword they started to freak out they were even shaking with fear. " Oh no he has a sword," said the guard who was shaking in his shoes. Wake saw what had gotten his men all worked up. He rolled his eyes once he saw Pikachu with the sword. " All of you are morons all of us have swords. Wake said as he throw out his sword with the other guards following their leader. Once Pikachu realize that his sword was not as big as theirs and he is outnumbered he slowly placed the sword underneath their feet and ran up to catch up with Ash. Hoping that will give him some time to escape.
Pikachu spotted Ash and hopped on his shoulder. " good work buddy. Now, where else is there to run to" Said Ash as he was trying to find a good place to run but he will have to look fast because the guards were right behind them.
The moment that they decided where they wanted to run off to. It was too late before Ash decided where to go. He and Pikachu found themselves surrounded by guards they were coming in all directions and he didn't know where to go next. But as he was thinking of a way to lose the guards. They found themselves surrounded by them. They were pointing their swords at them which was making them push up against a house that belonged to a very ugly lady. which he was feeling very uncomfortable by the way that she was looking at him "Oh hello handsome. Look what landed on my doorstep a very tasty man that fell right into my arms " the lady said as she picked him up. The lady was scaring Ash and thought that she was going to give him nightmares for days but he jumped out of her arms and went into a group of guards who were about to pounce on him but they were too slow to catch him.
The moment that the guards were about to pounce on him. Ash grabbed onto a rope that was hanging on one of the stands so he and Pikachu grabbed onto it which caused the guards to crash into each other just when they were about to pull it up.
Then they landed right in front of a tower where they were more guards coming at every corner. Everywhere he went a guard was waiting to capture him but Ash is way too smart to fall for any of their tricks. So he went up the stairs of the tower and dashed into the room that was filled with Pokemon toys. He grabbed a giant Charizard doll.
He turned around and noticed that the guards were coming at him. So he jumped on top of the Charizard toy like he was about to ride it out of the window. The moment that Ash got to the window the guards almost got him until he jumped out of the window. After Ash jumped out of the window the guards followed him but they fell into a different area that was far away from where Ash was going.
Before Ash was about to land he had to make sure that none of the guards were following them. " Hey Pikachu have you seen any of the guards," Ash asked as he was looking up at his Pikachu who was on top of the Charizard's head. Pikachu looked in all directions and he didn't see any of the guards which meant that they have fallen somewhere else that is far away from their location. So Pikachu just shook his head which meant it was a no. " Great now we can finally enjoy our feast in peace. Let's land at that alleyway." Ash said as he made the Charizard toy turn in the direction that Ash wanted to go which was towards an alleyway. When they got there. Ash and Pikachu jumped off of the toy and sat down near the alleyway.
Once they got to the ground they high-fived each other and laughed at everything that they have gotten through just to get this bread. That is what they did before they got the chance to sit down. " Now as for a job well done and for being a great prankster Pikachu. I say that this calls for a feast" Ash said as he Splits a slice for Pikachu and hands it to him.
Ash was about to eat his slice of bread when he noticed two kids who were much more hungry than he was. So before he made up his mind he turned over to Pikachu who already started to eat his fill but then Ash felt bad for the children and decided to give his bread to them.
When Ash saw the little brother and sister were looking for leftover scraps he realized that they were even more hungry than he was. Ash felt bad for them so he turned over to look at Pikachu to see what he should do. But Pikachu just took a big bite out of his slice of bread which made the kids even more hungry and started to hide once they saw Ash looking at them.
Ash knew that he was hungry but he couldnt bear to see little kids even more hungry than he was so he did what he needed to do. So he got up and walked over to the kids who were still scared but they felt better once he handed him his bread. " Here you go, I don't want you to be hungry so here take it," Ash said as he ruffed the little girl's hair and walked out of the alleyway, and headed towards a crowd of people. Which looked like they were waiting for someone to arrive.
Pikachu saw what his trainer did for those kids. He knows that he is going to hate this but it was the right thing to do. So he decided to give the kids his bread as well. This made the kids happy that they patted Pikachu which caused him to say " Chu, pika," Pikachu said as he laughed
Pikachu was about to ask them for more pets until he saw his trainer leaving. So he said goodbye to the kids and jumped onto Ash's shoulder.
When Ash got to the crowd he wanted to see what was going on. He got his answer once he saw a fancy man who was riding on top of a Rapidash he was on his way to the palace he was overhearing some citizens talking about the fancy man and why he is here in Pantoran. " He looks like he is on his way to the palace "It's another suitor for the princess," one man said to his friend who was standing next to him. " Let's see how long this one will last," someone said. Everyone was talking about if this is going to be the one that the princess will marry or if she will even like him. Or will she throw him out as she did with the other suitors that came before this one? They were even betting on each other to see how long the prince will last in the palace.
As Ash was looking at the prince the two kids that he helped earlier ran passed him the sister was trying to stop her brother from going near the prince but it was too late once they headed toward the man who was riding on the Rapidash. The prince was about to whip them until Ash stopped him before he could do anything to them.
" Hey, get out of my way you brats," the prince said as he threw out his whip. Until Ash grabbed the whip and said. " Hey, what's the big idea picking on little kids like that who are you to pick on small little kids? If I was rich as you. I would have some manners if I were you" Ash said as he threw his whip at the prince making him angry. " I will show you some manners! Now get out of my way I have more important things to do than to deal with a worthless street Raticate like yourself, after all I have a fair princess that is waiting for me at the palace as we speak." The prince said as he kicked Ash and Pikachu into a mud puddle. Which caused everyone in the square to laugh at them. Then Ash got back up onto his feet as he turned to him and said " I Doubt the princess will like a man that does not have any manners. , Wow have you looked at that Pikachu, have you ever seen a Rapidash that has two real ends? I sure haven't until today " Said Ash in a sassy tone.
The prince turned around and growled at Ash as he said " You are a worthless Street Raticate, you were born as a street Raticate, and you will die as a street Raticate," said the prince as he was teasing Ash as this was getting him angry he got up as he ran up to the door but without one last insult from the Prince " when you do die, then your fleas will mourn you" that was the last thing that the prince said before the doors closed. The words that the prince was saying about him were making him mad. He ran over to the door so that he can defend himself but the doors stopped him before he can go any further.
Ash stepped back from the door right after he ran over to it. " I am not Worthless and I do not have fleas," Ash said as he Scratch the back of his head. " Come on Pikachu there is no need for us to stay here any longer. Let's go home" Ash said as Pikachu climbed on his shoulder as they sadly walked over to their so-called home. As he was sadly talking to Pikachu about how much he hated life on the streets and how much he hated being called a street Raticate and how others treat him.
As they were walking through the streets the sun was starting to set. They stopped walking once they reached a ladder that is supposed to lead them to their home. Ash and Pikachu's home was in a very small tower that had a couple of old pillows, tattered blankets, and torn tarps but the best part is that it has the best view of the Pantoran castle from afar.
Once they got in Pikachu went to his little bed so that he can go to sleep with Ash putting the blanket on top of him. But he couldn't help but stare at the Pantoran castle and hope that things will get better for them.
" Oh, Pikachu. I hate being called a street Raticate don't they see that there is a lot more to me, than just a poor boy." Ash said as he climbed up the ladder so that they can go home. Pikachu felt bad for Ash he knows that this was not the life that he deserves. As they got to the entrance to the tower
Pikachu jumped right into bed as Ash put the blanket on top of him. Right after he took his hat off of his head and placed it right next to his pillow. Then Pikachu went to sleep right after Ash went to his window so that he can look at the castle. Which had a beautiful view of it from a Distance.
After he put Pikachu to bed he went to go lay near the window ledge as he stared dreamily at the castle. " Someday Pikachu, I know that things are going to change for us someday. "We will be rich and live in a palace and not have any problems anymore and we will be off these streets and have a fresh new life, " Ash said as he was admiring Pantoran castle and wondered what would it be like to live in there.
In the next chapter, we are going to see what life is like in the palace in the Pantoran palace where we will meet the Sultan and his beautiful daughter Princess Felicia. Who is forcing her to find a husband before her birthday but she doesn't want to marry some prince she wants to travel the world with the one she loves. So lets go see what is going on inside the palace and what will we encounter once we go in. Will all I know is that we are going to be meeting the beautiful Princess Felicia?
