Ash thinks that living out on the streets is hard. Try being a princess who is forced to marry someone that she does not even love and being trapped inside your own home and not allowed to leave it. Will that be life in the Palace of Pantoran? The next day there were even problems that were going on inside the palace lived a Sultan and his beautiful daughter named Felicia. The princess is not happy That her father is forcing her to find a husband before her next birthday which is in 3 days and she is running out of time cause all of the princes that her father has called to court her.
Felicia didn't like any of them because they were not what she was looking for They were either disgusting, rude, selfish self-centered, and thought that women or useless, or she just didn't like being forced to see some men that she doesn't even know.
She wants to marry someone who she loves. But due to the law, she can't do that because she has to marry a prince but all of the princes that her father has sent for her were not to her liking. Which was starting to become a problem for the Sultan and he just hoped his daughter will like this one. But by the sounds of it was not going too well. Which was making the Sultan worried.
The Sultan is also getting too old and he needed someone to take his place as Sultan since he didn't have a son he has to get his daughter to find a husband so that man can take his place as Sultan cause by law a Woman can't rule without being married to a prince and this law has been a family tradition for years and they are not planning on changing it anytime soon. The law is giving the Sultan until Felicia's birthday to find herself a husband and he has to be a prince.
So anyway as the prince was in the courtyard trying his best to win Felicia's heart but as he was about to approach her, her Arcanine blocked him from getting any closer to her. Which got the prince afraid and started to chase him around the courtyard they stopped once her Arcanine grabbed him by the back of his pants and bite him on the back of it which left a huge hole in it. This got the prince to walk back into the palace angrily. On the fountain, Felicia was laughing at the stunt that her Arcanine just did so she reward him with a pet on the head and said a job well done.
When the prince stormed inside the courtyard door, he went over to the Sultan, a middle age little man wearing a white turban and white robes all around him and wearing gold flats. He ran up to the prince to try to get him to stay longer and give her a second chance but the prince was not having it. " Wait why are you leaving so soon, can you please tell me what happen," the Sultan cried out to the prince. " good luck finding someone who will deal with her attitude and her Arcanine of hers, I have never been this embarrassed in all my life. Will I wish you luck getting someone to marry her and if she does find a husband I feel sorry for that person. You want to know what happen take a look for yourself" The prince said as he turned around and showed the sultan the bite mark that was on the back of his pants as he continued to make his way over to the door and leave. The last words that the sultan said to him is that " I'm really sorry how my daughter treated you, I promise that I will speak to her, She will come around just give her a chance to think it over. I am sure that after I am done talking to her. She will come to her senses, I promise " he tried to say but the prince kept on walking away he tried to do it again but he was not having any luck making the prince stay
" grrrr, Felicia, I am really sorry about my daughter please get home safe. But don't worry I will have a word with her" The Sultan tried whatever he can do to make the prince stay but he already left before the Sultan could do anything to stop him from leaving. This just got the Sultan angry and went outside so that he can talk to Felicia she has to stop refusing any prince that comes through the palace doors and he is getting tired of having all of these princes disappointed.
He saw her on the fountain he was about to go over to her until Arcanine was shocked at what was in his mouth was the prince's underwear " Alright Felicia this has gone far enough and Arcanine give that to me at once. So this is why that prince stormed out of the palace " he said as he pulled the underwear out of the pokemon's mouth. Arcanine let go of half of the underwear and went over to the person who was laughing at the fountain this person was a beautiful 17-year-old princess with long brown chocolate hair and brown eyes On her head was a headband with a jewel in the middle which shows that she is a princess. She was wearing a pink sleeveless top with gold trimmings that went going across it. She also wore the same pink skirt that was reaching the bottom of her feet and this person is no other than the Sultan's daughter and this was Felicia. She was hanging out at one of her favorite places in the palace the courtyard
She stopped laughing when her Arcanine came over to her and rubbed her on the arm, "Oh come on father, Arcanine just wanted to have some fun with the prince, Right Arcanine you were just playing with that overdressed man worn you" Felicia said as she petted her Arcanine as she laughed but she stopped once she saw her father's glare. " Felicia I don't know what I am going to do with you, this has gone out of hand every suitor that I have sent for you. You have scared them away. This has got to stop and you know the law" The Sultan said this caused Felicia to roll her eyes and started to walk over to a birdhouse where a flock of pidgey were. " Yes Father I know, The law says you must be married to a prince" She signed as she was getting tired of hearing the same conversation over and over again. " by your next birthday" The Sultan finished for her. " Why do I need a husband anyway just for some stupid law this is not fair and don't get me wrong I do want to get married but with the one that I love and not by some law it's not right on how I'm being forced to do this," Felicia said as she was petting the pidgey on its head and put it up to her face so that she can hug it.
" Do you think that times have changed maybe this is the chance that only women should rule without a husband," She thought to herself. The sultan was terrified once he heard what his daughter has said " Felicia that is ridiculous you know the law a woman can't rule without a prince it's been like that for years and it is not going to change. Just so you know I am not doing this because of this law" he tried to explain as he took the pidgey out of her hand and put it back into its cage so that she can pay attention to him. When her father took the pidgey out of her hand she scoffed and went back over to the fountain as she tried to explain how much she hated being trapped here and not having any real friends. " I am not going to be here forever. I just want to make sure that you are taken care of that's all" The Sultan continued until Felicia said to him " Can you please try to listen to me, all of my life I have never done a single thing on my own" She said as she was playing with the water in the fountain " I Don't even have any real friends. " Felicia said until she heard a growl from behind her and it was Arcanine " Except for you Arcanine," Felicia said to him. This caused him to have a satisfied look on his face after she said that and went to sleep.
" I haven't even seen the world outside these palace walls," Felicia said as she looked at herself in the water of the fountain her father came over to her and said " But Felicia you know that you are a princess right" That is one of the reasons that I sometimes wish that I wasn't a princess anymore. I want to be an ordinary girl and go on an adventure that is not in books I want to see the world with my eyes. " Felicia said as she splashed the water, making her reflection disappear and making her father angry. " Ugh, Felicia I have no idea what I am going to do with you and your stubborn attitude." The Sultan said as he stormed back inside the palace angry but without telling Arcanine " I forbid you to have any daughters" he said as he made his way back inside the palace.
After her father left Felicia had an idea. There is no one that is stopping her from seeing the world. So tonight when everyone is asleep she is planning to run away from home. She didn't like living here so she will just leave without telling anyone what she is planning. All she ever wanted to do is just see the world that is outside these walls that are keeping her trapped so tonight it is going to be the night that she will see the world that she has always wanted to see and no one is going to stop her.. This is what she had in mind when she went over to the pidgey cage and opened it wide open so that all of them can fly high up into the sky and as she was watching them. This was just making her wish that she can join them. " hey what does that wall have anything to do with me not seeing the world? Tonight I am going to do something that I should have done a long time ago and that is to just leave. That is what she is going to do tonight after everyone is asleep she is going to escape from this place and see the outside world for the first time and nothing is going to stop her.
Back inside the palace, the Sultan went over to his toy city that looked like Pantoran. " ugh I have no idea where she gets that attitude from she honestly didn't get it from her mother that's for sure. She was never so picky" The Sultan said to himself until a dark shadow came over him. This changed the Sultan's mood right away.
" oh thank goodness it's my royal advisor Colonel Hanson. You have no idea how much I need your help right now. I am in desperate need of your assistance." the Sultan asked.
" Will what seems to be the problem? With any problem you may have I am sure I can solve it cause My purpose in life is to serve you, my lord. " Colonel Hanson said as he bowed before the Sultan.
" it's Felicia with this wedding business I am at my wits end with that girl. I asked so many princes to come and court her but she refuses to pick either of them and it's driving me crazy I just wish that she wasn't so stubborn all the time" the Sultan said to him. But he stopped until he saw Meowth on his shoulder " aww hello little fella want a cracker" the sultan trying to give Meowth the cracker but he kept on backing away and trying to keep his mouth shut but it was no lose. So he stuffed the cracker down his throat. Meowth was not happy about this and turned to his master hoping that he will do something but Coronal Hanson just laughed and said "The Sultan has a special way to deal with dumb Pokemon" Coronal Hanson said as he turned to Meowth who was not happy being called dumb.
"well what do you want me to do about it except there is one thing I can do to solve this little problem but it involves your ring," Coronell Hanson said as he took the Sultan by his finger that held the ring that needed to unlock his hourglass.
The Sultan was surprised by this because it has been stored down by his family for years. " Oh Colonel Hanson, I can't give you my ring. It's a family's treasure that has been stored down for years" he tried to protest.
" but I needed it to help me find the princess's suitor. You do want me to help you find the princess a husband don't you, he said but before the Sultan was about to protest again. Colonel Hanson took out his Arbok staff and it started to glow red and placed it right in front of the sultan's face as he was hypnotizing him to give him his ring. Then said everything will be fine" he said as he finished doing hypnosis on the Sultan.
Then without thought the sultan handed over his ring to Colonel Hanson and he just smashed it out of his hand.
"Will I am glad that it is settled, now go and play with your little toys now," he said as he pushed the Sultan towards his toy city as he kept saying under hypnosis everything will be fine.
Then Colonel Hanson and Meowth walked away but Meowth wanted to make sure that the Sultan was gone from earshot so that he can spit out the cracker.
" oh my gosh, I can't take it anymore how long do we have to keep kissing up to that guy because if I eat one of those gross crackers one more time my stomach is going to explode from their disgusting taste " Meowth complained as he was spitting the rest of the cracker out of his mouth and used his paws to wrapped it off of his tongue.
"Don't worry Meowth, once I have that golden Pokeball then I will be Sultan, not that bubbling idiot. You don't have to worry about those crackers anymore " Coronal Hanson said as they were heading back to their secret lair in the palace.
" yeah cause then I get to stuff those crackers down his throat haha," Meowth said with a chuckle.
" Will now I have the Sultan's ring let's see if I can find my diamond in the rough now which will help me get into the cave of wonders and get that golden poke-ball and once I have it in my hands then this whole kingdom will be mine hahaha." Coronal Hanson said to Meowth both of them laughed as they closed the door to his evil lair.
Later that night Felicia was wearing a coat that came with a hood to hide her identity as she was sneaking out of the palace and went over to the palace wall. " ugh I can't live like this anymore, I need to see the world right here and right now. This is how I am going to find my adventure and this is my chance to see the world from my eyes not from books " She said as she was about to climb up a tree that was right next to the palace wall but she stopped climbing once she felt someone pulling on her coat and it was Arcanine. Trying to stop her from leaving but she told him that this is something that she has to do. " I'm Sorry Arcanine I just can't live like this anymore and if no one is going to let me see the world. Then I will have to see it on my own. But remember this no matter where I go, You will always be my best friend" She said as she gave him a last goodbye hug. With those previous words, Arcanine knew that he didn't want to see Felicia leave but she was right she was not happy here being trapped in here like a bird in a cage and all of her life she always wanted to go on an adventure and dreamed of seeing the world. So Arcanine changed his mind about stopping her but decided to help Felicia to get over the tree that was leaning up against the wall. With her last leg over the wall. She turned back to Arcanine and said " Goodbye I will miss you" She said as she got down from the wall and ran straight into the streets so that she can start her first adventure outside the palace.
In the next chapter, Felicia is going to experience life that is outside the palace but it is nothing that she Expected especially when she meets a handsome man that shares a lot of common then they thought and starts to develop feelings for each other. Who will also show her that life outside the palace is so much different than the world that she is used to? She is going to take her first step outside the palace walls. What will await Felicia when she goes to the marketplace for the first time in her life? Will she like life outside the palace walls or will she hate it? It will be a whole new experience that she will never forget especially the man that has helped her, but of course, trouble is somewhere nearby. We will find out what will happen to her in the next chapter. Will Coronal Hanson ever find his Diamond in the rough? Will all you have to do is just wait for the next chapter which I have no idea when I am going to write cause I still have to work on my other stories and other things that I have to do to.
