Hey guys! So seems like Malcolm is not here to let his baby sister be the grown woman she truly is. Enjoy this new chapter and stay tuned to the end for a special treat!
Mercedes had no idea what she was supposed to wear to a team party, so she had called Santana and Quinn to help her; that was a mistake as she stood in front of the mirror. She stood wearing an off-the-shoulder navy blue form-fitting dress that fell right over her knees. You would think that that meant the dress was modest, but it was anything but.
The way it clung to her body made it feel like a second skin, like she was practically naked. Her shoes were black with a clear top, adding to her height which she did like. Her hair was in a high ponytail that cascaded down her back. As gorgeous as she felt she looked, she wasn't sure anyone else would see her that way; it wasn't her normal look.
"Guys, I am not sure about this…" She said, uncertain as she continued to stare at herself. The subtle makeup added to the overall look of near perfection that she hadn't really ever felt before.
"Not sure about what?" Quinn asked, circling her before nodding her approval.
Mercedes sighed. "This look… this dress. It's… a little much."
"Bitch please, you look hot! I might have to tell Britney we should reopen our bedroom." Santana teased, smacking her on the ass.
"I… Do you think so?" Mercedes asked, turning to the side and admiring how well her curves looked again. Jesse had always made her cover them, but he acted like he loved them whenever they were intimate.
"Girl, you look amazing, and you should show off your body more; women literally die for a figure like yours," Quinn said.
Malcolm checked his watch; he didn't want Mercedes to go to the damn party in the first place, but now she and the girls were in her room getting ready, and it was past time for them to go. "Merce, it's time for us to-" He stopped talking and froze in the doorway. "No! Hell No! The hell you got her wearing?!"
"She looks sexy, right?" Santana asked, smirking. She knew Malcolm asked them to dress her in jeans and shirt, so she knew he was pissed.
"The hell she does! Take it off! And why you got her in the heels? She is a fuckin baby!"
Sam stood in the doorway chuckling, and everyone's eyes were on him; Malcolm looked at him.
"And what the hell are you laughing at?"
"I dunno, man, I ain't never seen a baby look like that before." He smirked towards Mercedes, giving her an appreciative look as his eyes roamed the curves of her body in that dress.
Malcolm looked at Sam and shook his head, shutting the door causing Sam to move out of the room. "She is not going anywhere dressed like that!"
Mercedes shook off the blush that crept onto her face with the way Sam looked at her; she was still upset with him, even if his words and actions affected her. She shook her head as she went to the door opening it. "Excuse you, my body, my choice, I am not changing! Now let's go before we are gonna be late."
Stepping out of the room, she brushed past Sam and went to the door. "I am gonna ride with Q, and San see ya'll there." She said, walking out of the door.
The girl laughed, rushing after her, and Malcolm looked at Sam. "This is all your fault! You are supposed to have my back! 'I have never seen a baby look like that, " He said, mocking Sam. "Next time Stacey comes up here, and you need me to have your back ima remember this!"
The party was in full swing by the time Sam and Malcolm got there. Had Sam known Malcolm would have been biting his head off the entire time, he would have caught a ride with the girls. He knew Mercedes was still mad at him, but he was determined to make it right.
The thing was, he had no idea how. Girls flocked to him, and why wouldn't they? He was hot, rich, and famous, but none of them moved him like Mercedes had, and they hadn't even kissed. All she did was smile at him, talk to him, and he was a goner. Shaking it off, he walked inside and froze, seeing the horrifying look on Malcolm's face.
Sam looked over and was just as mortified as Malcolm. There in front of them was Mercedes, dancing with Mike in front of her and Puck behind her. They stood frozen, watching as she dropped it low and brought it back up slowly. Sam could feel himself growing hot at the thought of catching her in the kitchen and now seeing her dancing with his two teammates. Arousal and jealousy spread through him like wildfire.
"What the hell does she think she is doing?" Malcolm growled.
"Having a good time, like you should. Come dance with me, Malcolm." Quinn said, pulling him towards the dance floor against his will.
Santana looked at Sam before nudging him. "You stare any harder; your junk is gonna explode." She joked.
Sam rolled his eyes, trying to look elsewhere but failed. "I'm not staring, and don't worry about my junk; it's perfectly fine."
"I can clearly see that." She teased, nodding towards his pants, and Sam shifted to adjust. "Not staring my ass; if you want to dance with her, just go dance with her." She added before walking away.
Mercedes was having such a great time, though, from the feel of Puck, he was having a better time behind her. She laughed, pulling away from him and Mike. "Alright, boys, it's time for me to get something to drink; it was fun dancing with ya." She went to walk away, but Puck pulled her closer to him.
"How about I get you something to drink, and we can get to know each other better?" He leaned into her ear. "Much better."
She shook her head with a smile. "If I thought you were after anything other than my body, I might consider it."
Puck looked at her. "Okay, maybe first I wanna get horizontal, but I wouldn't mind getting to know you for you either; I can tell you are the whole package."
She leaned in closer to him, she didn't know why the dress, the hair, the attention made her feel bolder, but it did. Then, running her hand down his chest, she smirked. "I'm sorry, but I doubt you could handle me." She blew him a kiss and walked away toward the drinks.
As she grabbed a cup, she felt someone behind her, a part of her wished it was Sam, but she knew it wasn't, and turning, she was correct when Puck stood next to her. "Noah, you don't take no for an answer, do you?"
"Hey, if you're not gonna lay with me, the least you can do is have a drink with me or three."
She laughed. "You are just trying to get me drunk."
"Correction. I am trying to get us drunk! It's like a rite of passage at these things. Maybe I'll even take you to the roof." He said, winking at her.
Mercedes chewed her bottom lip as she scanned the crowd, and her eyes locked with Sam's. "How about a rain check?" She asked.
He nodded, and she walked away, looking away from Sam and heading out back for some air. With everyone inside, it was actually kind of peaceful.
Quinn saw the exchange between Mercedes and Sam before shooting a look at Sam. She nodded her head, telling him to follow her, and he shook his head, no nodding at Malcolm.
Quinn sighed before walking over to Sam. "Coward, I'll keep him busy if you want to go after her." She said.
Sam looked towards the door and nodded. "I do want to apologize; thanks, Q." He said, shooting her a half-smile before walking after Mercedes.
Mercedes stared up at the night sky; though she had to deal with her brother's inability to learn that she was not a child anymore, the night was pretty great. Going out with Jesse always meant going to some boring party. When she suggested they go to the club, he laughed and asked if she was drunk. She was so deep in thought she hadn't heard Sam walking out behind her.
Sam had walked outside and stood silently watching Mercedes, she had to be, without a doubt, the most beautiful woman at the party, and yet he couldn't do anything about it because it seemed her brother hated anyone who even looked at her. Still, he did owe her an apology. Walking beside her, he glanced up to see what she was looking at.
"Never really got the chance to just stand outside and look at the stars. Jesse was…he was controlling in some ways…and I saw it as protecting me. But, boy, was I wrong. He wanted me to conform to who he wanted me to be. That much is clear."
"What's clear to me is that he didn't deserve you, but I suspect very few men do." Sam said softly.
Mercedes didn't look at him; she just kept looking at the sky. "Is that why my brother had to beg you to bring me here? Did you lose a bet? Did you owe him one?" It shouldn't have hurt to know he had to be made to take her out, but it did.
Sam looked at her before shaking his head. "He didn't beg me; I suggested it because I wanted to ask you out, but I… he's never this way about people, and I know he's just looking out for you, so I figured if I suggested he wouldn't suspect…." He answered, realizing he was rambling slightly.
Mercedes finally looked at him. "Then why not tell me that? Why let me think the worst?"
Sam moved closer, wrapping an arm around her. "It's easier for you to hate me than have you look at me the way you are right now."
She bit her bottom lip, trying to hide her smile. "And how am I looking at you?"
Sam smirked, pulling her closer. "Like you want me to kiss you." He answered slowly, moving in closer. "Can I kiss you?"
Mercedes glanced down at Sam's lips; she had wanted him to kiss her since the moment she met him; she had never felt that way about anyone before. She nodded, afraid to actually speak and ruin that moment.
Sam smiled, brushing his lips against hers before moving in to thoroughly kiss her.
This kiss was everything she had wished for her first kiss; hell, it was everything she wished for the last time she was kissed. Her arms wrapped around him as she pulled Sam closer, kissing him deeper. Her body responded to him in a way it had never had anyone before; it was like he was made for her.
Sam groaned, pushing her against the wall pressing himself into her. "Yoo! Listen, Mercedes, I think-" Puck started before stopping when he saw Mercedes and Sam kissing.
Sam quickly pulled away from Mercedes, and she frowned, seeing the guilty look on Sam's face.
Puck looked at them and folded his arms. "I'm next."
She looked at Sam for a moment longer before shaking her head. "Wanna give me a ride home? I'm ready to go." She asked Puck.
Sam looked at her, confused. "I can give you a ride." He offered, and she shook her head again.
"You're too much of a coward; at least I know Noah will stand up to my brother." She said before walking over to Puck and letting him lead her out.
Sam stood back and watched as Puck put his hand way too close to her ass and escorted her out. He was barely aware of Santana standing next to him.
"She is right; you are a coward. I mean, she was right there; you had the curves; all you had to do was not freak out and lose your shit. Well, at least Puckerman bout to get some tonight, thanks to you." She teased.
Sam rolled his eyes, not in the mood for her snarky comment. "There's a difference between being a coward and being a good friend. He will flip his shit when he finds out she left with him, Puck doesn't have to live with him, and he damn sure don't know how angry Mal can really get."
"Sometimes I wonder about you, Evans. If you like her, then do something about it. But don't go blaming Jones for your actions. Yes, he is your friend, but when a woman like that gives you the attention that you clearly want, well, you gotta figure out if she is worth it. And right now, she is feeling not worth your time, buddy. But you are welcome; Q and I dressed her, so you have that vision to spank to later when you are alone, and Puck is grabbing that ass. Cause we both know he's an ass man."
Sam let out an annoyed breath. "She's not going to sleep with him; she doesn't sleep around, I can tell."
"Have you seen Puckerman without his shirt on? And I can not tell you how I know this, so don't ask, but his tongue game is on point…just saying." She shrugged. It was so easy to rile Sam up, so she figured why not keep going. "Hmmm, I bet he is laying that game all the way to the house, talking about how much of a coward you are, and he would never do that to her."
Sam bawled his fist and had to take a calming breath before looking at Santana. "If that's what she wants to believe, then so be it; I'm not after her body. You'd think that you wouldn't want someone around who's only after that too." He said before walking back inside to get a drink to hopefully push Santana's image out of his head out.
Mercedes couldn't understand why Sam was such a coward, but then again, Malcolm was his best friend, and if he didn't see her as anything more than Mal's sister and didn't want to cross that line, she couldn't and wouldn't make him. She would accept it and let it go. Even if he was the best kisser, she had ever had in her life. She looked over to Noah and smiled.
"Thanks for bringing me home; I just didn't feel like partying anymore."
"No worries, we can have our own party if you want." He joked.
"Are you really the playboy you portray, or is that just who you think you should be?" She asked, turning towards him as best she could with the seatbelt.
Puck smirked and unbuckled both of their seat belts. "I am exactly what you see; the only difference is I don't try to hide it."
"Are you saying I am hiding who I am?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I don't think you're hiding anything, but I do think you're more interested in me than you want to admit."
"You say interested, and I say…curious…."
Puck moved closer, running his hand along her bare shoulder. "Curiosity is always good for the cat." He replied, moving his hand up her neck.
"Really, I always thought curiosity killed the cat?" She said, staring at him.
He let his free hand move to her hip as he pulled her slightly closer while in his truck. "Maybe…but satisfaction brought it back, baby." He said, leaning into her and pressing a light kiss on her neck, kissing a trail up to her ear. "Sometimes…" He said softly. "It's okay to be a little curious." His hand roamed down her sides as he placed another feather-light kiss to her neck, then nipped her ear before moving to her lips.
Mercedes wasn't one to kiss anyone, let alone two men in one night, but both Sam and Noah had surprised her. She closed her eyes, feeling his lips on her neck; a soft shiver left her confused because she wasn't cold. And when his lips met hers, she was surprised. No, it didn't feel like Sam's kiss, but it was still so much better than Jesse's.
Puck smiled when she didn't push him away and kissed her deeper, running his tongue across her bottom lip.
She froze at his action and slowly pulled away from him.
"Mmm… your lips taste good. I bet the rest of you is just as sweet."
She stared at him with a soft smile. "Does that line ever work?"
"Tell me, are your panties wet?" He countered.
She stared at him. "And with that, Ima say good night." She said, shaking her head, not even hiding her surprise or the smile on her lips.
Puck chuckled. "I can take care of that for you." He said, running his hand up her knee slowly. "My tongue is good for more than talking."
"Oh my- you are serious, aren't you?" She said, looking at him.
"Invite me, Mercedes." He said, moving his hand higher and holding her with his eyes.
She swallowed hard. "In-invite you where?"
"Your room, your bed… that sweet pussy of yours." He answered as his hand slipped underneath the hem of her dress.
"Noah, I-" Her breath hitched with his hand under her dress.
Puck leaned in, flicking her lip with his tongue. "You'll have plenty of time to scream my name, but you gotta invite me in first." He said, running a finger along her wet panties. "Mmm, guess that answers my question."
Mercedes gasped, hating how she loved what he was doing, and quickly opened the door. "Umm yeah, good night Noah." She said, stepping out of his truck and walking right up to the door, looking for her keys.
Puck sat in the car for a moment, his hand on his lap as he watched her walk to the front door and looked over to see her keys sitting on his passenger seat. "Game on, Cedes," he said with a smirk.
