Saphira grumbled a little as she closed the trunk of her car and pulled her suitcases along towards the backdoor. She was still unhappy about her new living situation after the animatronics had discovered the bedroom in one of the storage closets. Especially since it was a room down underground. She has not yet seen it, but Saphira didn't want to be trying to sleep in her car during the day. That was something she was not interested in experiencing, and feared that something even worse might happen if she were to do that. So she had decided to grab her things from the car to take into the room. She had already taken some of the things in, and the animatronics helped. Though while she had left the back door open for one of them to come out to help her, they remained within the building. Mostly due to the fear of being spotted.

Though it was annoying, Saphira understood. She only had these last two suitcases to bring into the building. She has not yet seen the room that the animatronics had found. The only thing she knew was there was a bed, an old TV, old computer, a small kitchenette and a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. It really did seem like it had been planned years ago. Saphira could not help but fear being trapped in there, but the animatronics likely would get her out anyway. So she did not have to worry about that.

Still, she worried about it. Especially as they did tell her that there was a vent in there. That literally means Afton could watch her while she sleeps and gets changed. That was extremely disturbing to her, as Saphira did not want that to be the case. She knew she couldn't cover the vent though, as it would be the only way air would even get into the room. But she didn't know how much would also travel through the vents. But as the vents haven't really seemed to echo a great lot of sound, she should be fine. So long as she wasn't playing too much loud music.

She walked up the door, looking at Springtrap as he was standing there waiting for her to come into the building. Saphira groaned a little and he reached out to take the suitcases from her. "I can't say I am that excited, Springtrap. If this had not been shown as some kind of game or plan, I would have leaped at the opportunity before…but now…"

"I know." Springtrap smiled at her as he understood what she was saying. "This isn't something we want either because of that reason. But hopefully…it will not be what we think it will be." Springtrap stepped back so she could close the door behind her. "We can decorate the room, so it won't be so bleak."

She nodded as she would definitely like the idea. "Yeah, we can. I think Toy Bonnie has gone to get a spare lamp or two for me. I am not sure if this is the same as stealing, but I honestly could use something like that to make things better. I might get other things to make it prettier too. But I haven't seen the room yet either, but based on what Bonnie and Fredbear said, I am not so keen on seeing it at all."

Springtrap could not disagree. He has not seen it yet either, but he would go with her to see it. "Unfortunately, you no longer have the luxury of going home, I guess. This is home now for you. I am sorry that this has happened this way, Saphira. I am terribly sorry." He saw her face change and she looked like she was going to cry again. Her eyes were red and puffy, and her cheeks were still stained with tears. "It will be alright, Saphira. I am going to be here. If I have to, I will break the rules and stay with you in that room if needed."

Saphira was a little surprised by the offer to stay in the room with her during the day. That did sound like a good idea, but it also would be a bad idea. A light blush formed on her cheeks too as being in a room with nothing to do with someone who she was attracted to, and also trying to avoid any deeper contact with would create a place where they would not be able to get away from each other. "I am flattered that you would wish to do that for me, Springtrap." His ears twitch slightly, noting she was flattered he offered, and he saw the blush on her cheeks. "But I think it is best if we do not. Unless it was absolutely necessary, like if I were really sick or something."

Springtrap did not respond to her straight away as he pondered on her words. But he did respond after a moment. "That's a shame. But we will need to figure out a means of communication. We aren't robots, so you can't really attach something on us and expect us to respond like robots could…I think we do have some old radios around, but I don't think so."

Saphira hummed as she had not thought of that. She knew that she might need their help if something did happen, and it was during the day. But Saphira did not know if that would happen until the renovations start. "Well…we will have to think of some way…and it needs to be something only we know…just as long as Afton doesn't make use of it."

"I doubt it. He wouldn't want this place to have suspicion around it." Saphira did think there was, but it probably wasn't something people talked about anyway, so she didn't say that to him. "But we will figure out some other way to communicate with you, Saphira. We have to." Springtrap did not want to be not knowing if something were to happen. It was a fear for him now. "Until we do, just know I'll be worried about you during the day."

Saphira smiled at him as she fully appreciated Springtrap's concern. "Just don't allow that worry to distract you from your duty, Springtrap. I fully appreciate and understand your concern, but I also know that you don't want to find yourself in trouble for causing some kind of scene. I am sure you don't want that to happen."

Springtrap grumbled a little as he knew that was true, but he also hated it. "I must be honest, I really don't care much for the stuff we do during the day anymore. It is just the same old thing every, single day. And honestly, if I have to fake needing maintenance just to get out of it, I'll do it. I get tired of people being scared of people. Especially when they first meet me and don't even try to get used to me."

Saphira listened to him and she could not help but feel sad. "You know…you actually kind of sound like a character I know from a movie." Springtrap seemed surprised by that as he had not expected that at all. "I am not sure if you heard of it, but Shrek is quite a good movie. Especially as it goes into about self acceptance and not judging others based on appearance. It is about an ogre who tries to live alone, because most people shut him out." Springtrap tilts his head slightly as he listened to her curiously. "People take one look at him and they scream for help and run while calling him a big, stupid, ugly ogre. Which is why he felt like he should be alone."

Springtrap glanced away as he thought about it some more and looked back at her with a smile. "Well…I am lucky that I have the other animatronics around me. And, well, you were the first and only person to come up to me without any hesitation. There are some guests who don't mind me anymore, but often, they mock me more than anything." Saphira nodded as she was well of that, while she looked down at the ground. "I am glad that you took to me when you did. It made life easier for a while. And now, I don't want to lose it anymore…even though I know if you have to leave for safety, I'll have to let you go."

Saphira felt her throat tightening as tears well in her eyes. It hurt her to know that is what Springtrap was feeling. She knew that he was happy with her here, and she was glad that she brought him happiness. But knowing he did not wish to lose that feeling of happiness, but will allow it to keep her safe said a lot to her. She wanted to say the same thing, but she could not bring herself to. She was still afraid of giving in and finding out what exactly will happen if she does. She hated feeling like she was trapped by a chain, pulling on it while trying to reach for a key that was just out of her reach.

She took a deep breath and looked at Springtrap with a small smile. "I guess am glad that I have done for you, Springtrap. Really, I am." She looked away from him as she saw his curious expression. "Look, you don't have to get sentimental, Springtrap. I've already had a hard night as it is. I really just want to take a moment…please…you don't mind, do you?"

Springtrap shook his head immediately. "I don't. And sorry, sometimes I get a bit too emotional like that. But…I guess I am just an emotional animatronic. You can't really blame me I guess, with all the stuff we have been through and are going through…and I must admit, as much as I hate that your new room is literally underground in some kind of basement sort of room, I am happy you are going to live here. Only because you are just a literal door away from me."

She could not help but let out a little giggle, because it was true. "Yeah…but it probably will feel so far away. Like a nightmare when you are trying to run and it keeps moving away…I hate those dreams…" She stopped as they reach the open storage closet door and looked inside to see the wall that was open, and the stairs leading down. She shuddered a little as she stared at it. Bonnie and Fredbear were standing by the door waiting patiently for her. "I hate that it is so dark…why does it have to be dark?"

"I am afraid you are asking the wrong people about that." Springtrap smiled at her gently and she turned to try and grab one of the suitcases. "No, no, no! Let me carry them for you, Saphira. I know you probably feel like I need help, but trust me, these aren't even heavy to me. You could be sitting on my shoulders, and I could still carry something else."

Saphira giggled as she did not expect that kind of respond. Bonnie and Fredbear were grinning as well, as they too were amused by Springtrap's words. Saphira was trying to picture exactly what Springtrap had said, and it was just too funny to her, that it made her laugh hysterically and she couldn't help but cry. Springtrap chuckled softly as he loved hearing her laughter. And after all the crying she has done tonight, it was literal music to his ears.

Bonnie gave Springtrap an amused expression. "That is one way to flex your strength, Springtrap. We may not be able to flex like humans do, but…" He glanced at Saphira with a grin and shook his head. "That is most certainly one way to do it. But I kind of would like to see you try, because balancing a human on your shoulders while carrying suitcases might be more difficult than you think."

Springtrap scoffed in amusement. "Oh? We could always give it a go."

Saphira shook her head quickly with a smile. "As much as I think that would be kind of fun to do, I think I want to keep my feet on the ground for the time being." She looked back at the door and her smile faded as she shivered nervously. "Eh...I really don't want to go in there...but I have no choice I guess." She took a deep breath and stepped towards the door and stared into it. "We should look at putting some lights over the stairs. I don't want to fall down them because I can't see them."

Bonnie nodded. "I agree. I did notice there is wiring there, so we can put a light in there. But we aren't electricians, so I would say we shouldn't try anything fancy." Bonnie hummed softly before he points at Saphira's flashlight. "You should use that though, Saphira."

She looked at her belt and grabbed her flashlight before she chuckled a little. "Huh...I honestly forgot about it." She turned the flashlight on and shines it into the door. She shivered as the darkness in the door was still eerie, and it made her shiver nervously. "I still would like a light in there, even though it do have a flashlight. It is so dark in there."

"It will be alright, Saphira. I will be with you." Springtrap looked at the door before he stepped towards it. "I'll go in first, Saphira. I haven't seen the actual room myself yet, so I want to see it. Plus, you will know it is safe since I will be there."

Saphira smiled at him and nodded as she really appreciated the offer from Springtrap. "I would appreciate that, Springtrap. I'll feel more confident if you are in there."

"Good. In the mean time..." Springtrap looked at Bonnie and Fredbear with a smile. "You two can give her a pep talk or something. I know you are really good at that. Especially you, Bonnie. She needs to have her father figure comforting her in this time of need."

Bonnie rolled his eyes in amusement at Springtrap. "I don't need any reason to do that at any time, Springtrap." He walked over to Saphira and gently pulled her in for a hug, which she completely melts into. "You can trust Fredbear and I, Saphira. That room in there is not something we would want for you to sleep in, but it is the only place for you right now. We will make sure that you are comfortable."

Saphira knew that. She was still just nervous about the implications of the room. She watched Springtrap walk towards the door and enter the hallway to head down the stairs towards the room. "I know you will help me with that, Bonnie. But…no matter how much you dress it, it will still be a place with sinister intentions." She felt Bonnie rubbing her back gently as she spoke to him about her concerns for the room. "Especially if it was made a long time ago, knowing that someone will live in there. I must say, I will give it to Afton for being prepared."

"And we know it has been a long time. The TV and computer in there are old compared to what you use now," Fredbear said gently as he watched Bonnie comfort the girl as best as he could. "I suspect he was hoping for earlier results, but he has had to wait for years." Fredbear knew that was not good to really say, as Saphira also knew that. "However, while it might be for the reason of this game Afton is playing, or pulling on you, I think we should only be concerned if he does actively try to push you towards something. I mean, we already know he wants something from you."

"I know. But that is what scares me…and I know that if I never came back, none of this would be happening. But it might happen to someone else." Saphira at least knew that by doing this, no one else had to go through this. "I know that might sound kind of cliché…but…I am happy that this is not happening to someone else…but I imagine it would be harder for someone else, if they have not ever had a deep connection with you animatronics like I have."

"That is one way to look at it. But I don't think you really feel that way, do you?" Saphira nodded, and Bonnie smiled at her gently. "If that is what you feel, that's really brave of you, Saphira. I am happy to see that in you. You might be scared, but fear is natural. There is no shame in feeling it. But you are brave, Saphira. I am hoping for you to have a happy life, Saphira."

"We all are," Fredbear added with a smile. "Now, you should go and see the room. I know it is scary in there, but just take your time. If you want, one of us can go with you. I know Springtrap has walked into the room already, but if you need an extra hand…"

Saphira shook her head. "Thanks, Fredbear, but I will be okay." She looked at Bonnie with a smile. "You can let go of me now, Bonnie." She chuckled as he pulled her tighter suddenly and gasped as she felt him suddenly tickling her sides. "BONNIE!" She shrieked as that was her ticklish spot and she began to laugh. "Stop!"

She squirmed in his grasp as Bonnie grinned at her before he lets her go, making her step back from him. "I was just making sure that was still your ticklish spot. You remember how often I used to tickle you when you were a kid?" Saphira nodded as she walked towards the door with some more giggles. "Good, good…at least I know it still makes you squirm and laugh."

Saphira shook her head in amusement at Bonnie and turned to the door. "You are so funny, Bonnie. But thanks for that. I do need to laugh some more." Saphira's smile fades as she shines the flashlight into the door and she walked towards the stairs. "Springtrap? Are you at the bottom of the stairs right now?"

She gasped as Springtrap's head pops out of the gap in the floor from the stairs. "Yes. I've been waiting for you, Saphira." She smiled at him as she walked towards the stairs and swallowed nervously as she looked down them. "Come on, I can help you unpack and get settled in, Saphira. It will be alright. The room is bland, as they said, but it isn't terrible."

Saphira smiled as she walked towards the stairs and Springtrap reached up to take her by the hand. Saphira gladly took it and walked down the stairs carefully. The stairs felt solid, so that was good. She didn't know how long this place has sat empty, but given what the animatronics have said, it would have at least been ten years. The same amount of time she had been away from the pizzeria, which was nothing short of scary.

Once her feet touched the cement ground, she glanced around for a moment and looked ahead. The light to the room had been turned on at least, so that was a good thing. But the light wasn't bright, so it wasn't the best source for her. Springtrap walked with her into the bedroom, and she finally saw it for herself. The room wasn't huge, but there was enough room for a single person to live. She did not like that the door to the room was metal, meaning it will be heavy if she could not open it.

She glanced around while scrunching her nose at the musky smell of the room. She looked at the bed to see it needed sheets, blankets and pillows, which she did not have, due to the bedding she did own would not fit the mattress. She knew that she probably will get one of the bed spreads that the pizzeria sold. Toy Bonnie might be bringing her some lamps for the room, Nightmare had gone with Phantom Chica, Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmare Fredbear to look for other things. Freddy had also decided to get her a Bluetooth speaker for music.

She eyed off the kitchenette, noticing there was no oven or stovetop that she could use, which was a little annoying, as she would have liked to make food here. But she would get the opportunity to use the main kitchen when it was closed during the night at least. She did not know how to feel about it. Especially as he eyes landed on the vent and she sat on the mattress. She was glad that the mattress was comfortable, but she still did not feel comforted at all.

Springtrap looked around the room again and looked back at her. "Yeah…this is the room. I am not a fan of it myself." Saphira did not react as she swallowed nervously and thought on what to do. "How is the mattress?" She looked at him in surprise. "I've never sat on a bed before, but I am hopeful that it feels nice."

Saphira seemed surprised by that and she smiled at him before she pats on the mattress beside her. "Why don't you sit down beside me and find out for yourself? The bed is big enough for you to lay on, Springtrap."

Springtrap tilts his head as he was surprised by her offer and he took it. He walked over and carefully sat down beside her, a little surprised by the sound of the bed creaking underneath him from his weight. But once he was seated, he felt the comfort of the mattress. "That is nice…I always wondered what they feel like to sit and sleep on. We're used to sleeping sitting down or on our feet when we do get to sleep."

Saphira chuckled softly. "Well…maybe you should take a chance at some point. I bet you would love to sleep on a bed."

Springtrap nodded and he laid back suddenly, smiling as he felt the comfort of the mattress underneath him. "Yes, yes, I definitely would. This is just so good." She chuckled softly and he sat back up as he heard footsteps walking down into the room, and he smiled when Toy Bonnie walked in with Toy Chica holding two Chica lamps. "Just in time."

Toy Bonnie grinned as he walked over to the left bedside table. "There was no way we were going to leave Saphira in this room without something pretty. These old Chica lamps were sitting in the back of the store for a while. And luckily…" He plugged the lamp into the power point and turned it on. "We made sure that they work. And there's plenty of bulbs to use if they need replacing."

Saphira smiled as the lamps were just a golden, stand lamp with the lamp shades shaped like Chica's face. She remembered those, these lamps were old. "I am surprised they work. They're old."

"Well, they still sell these, actually. But these ones just were sitting there. I know it because I've seen them." Toy Bonnie looked around with a sigh. "This is a dump in here, I must say. So boring and bland…nothing like the plaza where we have colourful neon lights, a disco ball and so many things to do…" He suddenly gasped with an idea. "We should totally make use of the dancefloor. I bet you would enjoy having a good, random party with us."

"I would. That sounds like a good idea." She turned to Toy Chica as the animatronic plugged in the other lamp on the right bedside table. "Hey, Toy Chica. Could there be anything that might be able to stay in the little fridge here? Or is it not turned on?"

Toy Chica hummed as she walked over to the fridge and checked the power point to see it was on. "Fredbear or Bonnie might have turned it on. But let me check." She opened the fridge to feel. "Not cold enough yet, but you might be able to. Don't worry, we won't let you starve."

"Too bad there doesn't seem to be an air conditioner in here," Toy Bonnie said as he glanced around. "But it feels cool enough in here, so she might not need it if the vent is feeding enough air into here. Though…" He frowned as he looked at the vent. "As long as those little Freddles don't get in here, it should be fine."

"I agree. I don't think an air conditioner is needed. But it will be nice if I did get one." Saphira smiled at him and she stood up with a sigh. "I guess I should unpack." She looked at Springtrap as he slid off the mattress. "Feel free to help me."

Springtrap grinned as he definitely wanted to help her. They worked together to unpack her clothes and put them into the wardrobe, and Springtrap was immediately drawn to a couple dresses she had with her. He hoped she would wear them at some point. She took care of her toiletries and feminine hygiene products while the animatronics unpacked her books, sketchbooks and laptop. Saphira at least didn't need to use the old computer if she chose not to. But she would turn it on to see if there was anything important on it.

It didn't take long to unpack though. The animatronics were thrilled by how much merchandise she still had since she was a kid. It made them happy that she kept them, even though she had gone through so much pain as a kid. She would organize them differently later as well, she just wanted to make sure things were unpacked, so she would be able to settle in. But given the reasons why this room was made, it might take a while to truly feel like this was home.

Nightmare and Phantom Chica would come into the room with a set of sheets, blanket and some pillows to put on the mattress. Saphira was thrilled by that, and the animatronics got to watch as Saphira made the bed. They had not known how sheets would put onto the beds, and it intrigued them with how it was done. Saphira was amused by this, but it didn't take long. And she was somewhat looking forward to sleeping in a comfortable bed, as she was feeling extremely tired from the crying she has done. Even though it was three in the morning right now.

Once that was done, the animatronics left Saphira and Springtrap alone. They both sat on the bed while Saphira leaned against him as she looked around the room. "What do you think will happen now that I am…here? Permanently."

Springtrap shrugged. "I am afraid I don't have an answer for you, Saphira. I wish I did." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders gently, knowing she was feeling scared right now. "The only thing that might happen, is that things might get a little more serious. Now that you don't have to go to your parent's home, things might…I don't know…I really don't want to think it will get bad."

"Me either. But I think the same, Springtrap." Saphira yawned a little and relaxed against him. "But I am glad that you have been here, Springtrap. Today has been the lowest I've been since…since the accident…and while my wounds have been reopened about my brother's death…I am glad you are here. Thank you."

He rubbed her arm gently with a warm smile. "You are most welcome, Saphira. Just know that I will always be by your side." He did wish that he could teach her parents a lesson about this though. Seeing how hurt and sad Saphira had been tonight really made him angry for her. But he knew he could. Plus, he wouldn't even know where the house is, so there was no point. "At least, you will not have to endure this again, Saphira. I hope you won't. Just know, that the accident was never your fault. Or Jeremy's. At least he can rest knowing you love him."

Saphira felt tears in her eyes and she was happy to hear that from him. "Thank you, Springtrap. That makes me happy to hear that from you."

Springtrap felt her body relax more as he rubbed her arm gently. "You are welcome, Saphira. I hope that whatever happens, that you will be happy. That is all I want for you." There was no response from Saphira for a few minutes and he looked down at her, only to realize she was asleep. That surprised him as he had not expected that. "Oh…"

He smiled a little as he was glad she felt safe enough around him to fall asleep. But she has had a very upsetting day. He thought about what to do before he ensured she remained leaning against him as he gently lifts her legs to remove her shoes and socks for her, placing them down gently so she would find them. He shifted to lift her into his arms and move to the side of the bed, and pull the blankets and sheet back far enough to place her down on it. He smiled as seeing her relaxed face was comforting to him.

He looked over her for a moment before he covered her with the blanket and tucked her in before leaning down and kissing her forehead gently. She murmured something in her sleep and rolled onto her side, facing away from him. Springtrap chuckled a little, rubbing the back of his hand along her cheek. "I love you so much, Saphira. I just wish that…I wish you would admit your feelings to me. But I know that you know how much I care for you. And I will always love you." He leaned down again to kiss her cheek before he stepped back and thought on what to do now.

He though about leaving her alone, but he glanced at the vent concerned that Afton will do something. So Springtrap decided to simply remain in the room, standing at the foot of the bed and staring at the vent to see if something would come out. Nothing did. He heard nothing from it either. But that did not mean much, as he could easily turn his back and something would happen, and he knew it. He would remain until it was six, as Saphira did not wake at all. But he would make sure to leave the door of the room opened at least, as he worried that shutting it would lock her in, and she wouldn't be able to get out when she wants to.
