let the story resume...
.
Naruto awoke slowly, the smell of rotten eggs filing his clogged nostrils, the sound of thousands of unintelligible whispers filing his ears, speeding his heartbeat up.
He opened his eyes in tremendous confusion, feeling his heart skip painfully at the sight of very tall figures bathed in a vivid and violet lights, possibly twelve feet or so, standing in grotesque yellow robes, and they were all adorned with masks depicting malevolent and ill-intentioned men and women, Hannya and Oni Masks started at him while whispering motionlessly.
His eyes were wide open and watering, tears falling from his face because of it, darting around frantically underneath furrowed brows.
He tried to move, but his legs had no feeling.
In fact, he couldn't move anything below his waist, and he saw that it was because his legs and feet were not limbs, they were the bases of dual-colored trees, gnarled roots spreading out and reaching around him, his arms were also roots, reaching all the way directly into the black dirt he was planted in.
He almost missed creaking sounds directly behind him over the loud whispers, opting to turn around as much as he could.
He turn sideways as much as he could, and whimpered at the sight of two giant trees behind him carrying the naked bodies of two separate figures.
One of them had blonde hair that reached down to the man's jaw, and the other was a woman with deep red hair, tinged with maroon, both of them were hanging from the gnarled roots of the two separately colored trees he was entombed in, and while the man was ridded with bullet holes, the woman had massive discoloration on her torso, her arms and leg had been cut off.
Tears of fear came falling down Naruto's face, words trying to be choked out ,"Mm-...D-...Da-*GHRRK*", but his nose and mouth were suddenly filled with dirty water mixed with ink and blood, the amalgamtion of liquid pouring down his front in copius amounts every heave.
He heaved and heaved, suddenly stopping when he heard crying up ahead of him.
He stared ahead catching ths sight of a tall man with familiar and long white hair, as well as a young boy with blonde hair.
Naruto realized that the boy was him, and he was crying while staring back at his older self and being lead towards a closed door, an expression of the purest malice he had ever seen in his face, matched only by his own at times, twisting his naturally kind features into a hatred filled mask that twisted around heterochromic eyes, his right one blue, like his own, and the other red, and the pupil slanted, like a crocodile or felines.
His vision was somehow zoomed in and hyperfocused on the boy and what he was holding, a red-orange stuffed toy, a fox posesssing several tails with a large hole in the left side of its chest.
Overstimulated with confusion, his eyes grew minds of their own, moving over to the tall man with white hair, his face turned slightly to reveal a gut-wrenching and sickening smile, a red line going down the sides of the mostly hidden and uncomfortably familiar face.
He saw that the man walked towards the door with old dime-sized holes in his torso and a blade sticking on the back of his neck.
Before Naruto could connect the dots, his gaze was broken by the noise of the loudest scream he had ever heard, a screech coming from the sad and infuriated version of himself, words that were so loud and filled with emotion that they weren't pronounced correctly, "HELP MEE!!".
An involuntary breath had filled Naruto's lungs before everything turned black, and then colored again.
He sat up quickly in a cold sweat, the harsh sound of metal against metal behind him startling, causing him to jolt further backwards, ripping what was apparently a metal bar off of a bed frame from behind him with hidden strength.
His jolt had made him jump off of the bed, and he sat after his headfirst fall on the floor, breathing hard.
He looked everywhere his eyes could land, every corner of the room, under the bed, he could still the whispers in his ears.
His body took in breaths at a rate that hurt his throat and lungs, an unbearable cold embraced him tightly, exacerbated by the sweat the covered his entire body.
He let out pants, not being able to verbalize words, his hands in fists tight enough to break skin, back to a wall.
He calmed down slightly once rational thought slowly but reluctantly returned to his mind, scanning the room yet again trying to discern his surroundings, once he saw the figures did not remain.
He was in a moderately sized room, probably twelve and half footsteps long and and over half that wide, a ceiling that hovered a few feet above his head, an end table with a lamp standing by the bed with grey sheets that he was held captive on.
Naruto placed his hand on his chest, his heartbeat hurt, it felt like he was being stabbed from the inside of his ribcage, his eyes were staying too wide, for too long, stinging his eyes and forcing them closed.
After he regained most of his composure, he scanned the window on his right.
He looked around again, a relatively bright room was lit by a window with a drawn curtain.
'Morning...?'
He thought, struggling to put the simplest of details together in his head.
He looked towards his hand, pain moving through his wrist and arm due to the fear he performed, it was in pink and fuzzy handcuffs, a bent metal pole was sliding out of its completely useless hold.
Suddenly, a door he didn't know was there opened to his right, and he instinctively yanked the cuffs towards him, grabbing onto his new weapon and held up in battle-ready form to face his intruders.
"What happened!? Who's here!?." Called a dark skinned woman carrying a shotgun, she seemed to have just woken up.
Next game another person, a man with a white robe in and a pistol tightly held in his right hand, two people he immediately recognized as Yoruichi and Kisuke from last night, who only made his flight or fight reactions worse, especially the woman in the room.
"Whoa, hey, Naruto. It's alright, Yoruichi, please step out. It was just a nightmare, you were screaming 'help me' so I thought there was an intruder in the house. Are you okay?".
Urahara asked, inching towards Naruto after placing his gun in the reluctantly retreating woman's grasp and puting his hands level to his face.
"Stay the fuck away from me!". Naruto barked without moving an inch, ready to kill.
"Alright, I'll stay right here, but we need to make sure your okay." Urahara sat down on the bed, keeping his eyes trained on Naruto.
"What the hell did you do to me!?". Naruto screamed, eyes wide and accusing, darting from the doorway that contained the purple haired woman and back to the sand haired man.
"I hit you on the back of the head last night with a metal bat, how you doing by the way?". Urahara said, his carefree attitude slowly returning to his face, but urgency and carefulness ever present in his mannerisms.
"Wha-what? Last nigh-". Naruto felt the back of his head throb at the recognition, and he felt it, it didn't feel any bandage or blood, a cut or anything.
"Maybe I didn't hit you as hard as I thought, that's a sure relief!".
Urahara commented in cautious optimism, hands planted on his knees.
"Th-thats not what I'm talking about, I had a-a-really weird...who-what the fuck are you people!?". Naruto said breathlessly, his scratchy voice flowing through a sore and bloodied throat.
"Listen, you remember me, right? I'm Kisuke Urahara from yesterday. You came to my door, I assume you were looking for me. We took you in, but not long after that you attack my... friend here down, and then I had to knock you out. Sorry about that."
Urahara said with an expression of sympathy.
"*Wwooo , So... You stopped me from killing her." Naruto regained his composure in an instant, lowering the metal bar in his right hand and shifting his stance.
"Yeah, I had to-", Urahara stopped, the young man in front of him had rushed him mid sentence with his right arm reared back, closing the distance in barely a few seconds.
CLAAANG , A large sound reverberated throughout the room, Naruto looked to see that the woman in the doorway was now at his side, she blocked the pole he attacked with using the shotgun she aimed at him the night before.
Naruto's anger went haywire and his rational thought went right back out the window, he grabbed the other end of the pole that wrapped itself around the gun and kicked it near the handle, disarming the woman.
He was about to swing again, but the pistol Urahara carried earlier was brought up pointed at him, Yoruichi had been disarmed because she was holding another gun.
The sound of shotgun getting cocked made it self known behind him, and Naruto looked to see Urahara had somehow moved out of his peripheral with the shotgun without him noticing.
But he was forever plotting, Naruto used the acknowledgement of him turning his head to move and grab the woman's hand, performing a single handed shoulder throw while grasping onto the pistol and disarming that gun as well.
He grabbed the gun and pointed at Yoruichi, pulling the trigger and firing at the ceiling, he had been tripped by the woman before he could get a grip on the trigger.
The bullet ricocheted from the ceiling onto the ground towards him, scarring his left side.
He brought the gun closer to him and pointed it at the woman who was already reaching for it, she was out of trajectory, grabbing onto the pistol and disarming him as he did her.
Now two guns were pointed at him again," Stop.Fucking.Moving. Your not gonna get the bullet off." Yoruichi said, her upper body levitating off the ground, a calm face behind the deadly tool threatening to end Naruto where he laid.
"Look, I'm not gonna shoot you kiddo, but she probably will. So it's best not to try her. We can help you, feed you, provide you with whatever you need, but you really have to understand that this is our house, you can't attack anyone in here as you please."
Urahara explained as calmly as he could, his finger off of the trigger but his hands aiming the weapon.
Naruto gambled that neither of them were going to shoot him, Urahara was showing a so far consistent amount of compassion for him, and his finger hadn't touched the trigger despite Naruto's earlier outburst.
Yoruichi must have had good trigger discipline, her finger on the metal trigger did not reflect the subtle frown hidden in the contours of her smooth and deceivingly calm mask.
Naruto knew his death would be because of his own actions, but the urge to kill the woman, and Urahara by association, that was most likely behind the murder of his teacher was almost all-consuming.
He felt no urge to speak, and felt his stomach churn at the compassion that was being shown by the man pointing a shotgun at his feet.
His face locked in an untrusting and tense expression, he stood up and walked backwards.
Yoruichi stood shortly after he did, and earned a paranoid stare from Naruto, eyes holding deadly contempt, shooting daggers with hate-fueled precision.
"Alright Naruto, we need to know that if we lower these guns you aren't gonna try to slit our throats before we can raise them back up again." Urahara said.
Naruto was silent.
"That isn't exactly reassuring." The purple haired woman spoke, holding the pistol at her side.
Urahara saw Naruto tense even more at Yoruichi's voice, his hands flexed and stretched, his feet shifted ever so slightly.
'If he continues thinking what he seems to be thinking, then Naruto's going to paint these walls red, or these walls or going to be painted with him.' Urahara surmised, trying to think of a solution for the murders waiting to happen.
"Ok, Yoruichi, you'll have to step back outside, take this, I appreciate you saving my life by the way!". Urahara said, handing the shotgun back to Yoruichi as she made her way towards the door, still pointing the pistol towards Naruto.
"You'd better not die." Was all she said before she slammed the door.
Naruto has tracked her wherever she went, and the two never broke eye contact, but with her departure of set his eyes back on the man in front of him.
"If you want to talk, we can conversate at your own pace. We can talk for however long it will take, about whatever we can, but I need you to understand this-try to stay calm as I say this-but you can't leave this room until I know you stop trying to kill her."
Naruto didn't move a muscle, the only sign of him not being a statue were his rarely blinking eyes and occasionally face twitch.
"If you don't want to talk, then we sure don't have to talk right now. I'm not leaving this room either until your feeling chatty, so might as well get comfortable!". Urahara said semi-cheerily, sitting cross-legged on the bed, wordlessly inviting Naruto to sit on the floor across from him.
Naruto followed him with his eyes,'I need answers, but I don't exactly know how safe I really am. She hasn't moved from outside the door since she closed it, her back is on the door. I remember seeing outside while standing up-I'm on the second floor. What do I do?
'I came here to see him, but he's still protecting her, does he even know what she did? '. The animosity faded from Naruto's face, as an expression of realization replaced it.
'He doesn't know what she did! I barely know the guy, but Pervy Sage used to, so that's more than enough to warn him about what she did! '. Naruto walked across the room to Urahara's surprise, and sat across from him as he predicted.
"I know that you used to know Pervy Sage. Whatever you know about his death, you don't."
"What exactly do you mean by this?". Urahara asked with an expression of inquiry.
Naruto sat down with his arm his knee, still primed to react to whatever he seemed as a threat.
"Let me take you back to the day he died...
I remember the exact date he died. October 10th, 2015. It was after I had gotten back from school, I was on my way home off of the bus and I had been dropped off at his estate.
Once I got to the gate, I saw that there were no guards posted in the little boxes on either side, there were usually two of them at all hours of the day, and neither of them were there to buzz me in.
"HELAAAOOO!?PERVY SAGE SENSEI!??ANYONE!?? OPEN THE DAMN DOOOOOR!!". I yelled a lot.
I tried the intercom box, I tried screaming at the cameras that were probably unmonitored, and I even tried to call him and his staff, but no one answered, there were no signs of life in his place.
Naturally, I decided to jump the gate, I got a pretty big cut on my arm doing that, I thought it was a big deal, so I rushed his house.
"Pervy Sage!? Ms.Bo-mi!? Old man Hiroshi!? HELLOO!?".
I screamed like a banshee wherever I went, and for a while I didn't see anything.
So I decided to try to work it out myself.
I don't really remember much of what happened besides me trying to wrap my arm with a bandage, and not using anything to clean it or anything, so I bled through the bandage quickly.
I do remember...*sighh...*... I do remember what I heard next though.
...POP, POP, POP...*
I heard distant gunshots, somewhere in the house.
"..."
Those gunshots took me back to a dark place, so I froze up.
Until I heard screams afterwards, and they were familiar.
I ran to the source to the source as fast as I could, arm dripping with blood and all.
He had a really big house, so It took me a while to find out where things were coming from.
But eventually, I climbed a few stories and found where he was.
"*huff* *huff* *huff*".
That was when I happened upon a door, and I saw the state that my teacher was in.
Jiraiya was splayed out on the door of his patio, he had a couple of gunshot wounds and he was bleeding profusely.
There were about six men in the room, and one of the cool maids, Bo-Mi Park was being held back, she was crying.
It was pretty sunny out, and I saw the way the sunlight shined through his hair, it made him look like an angel.
He had a business outfit on, a black collar shirt I think, and he had these leather ankle boots he had picked up in Germany...
He looked pretty mad at the guys, and I saw the person who shot him was pretty short, a guy with a grey wool overcoat.
"*Hufh*, *Huff* *Hufh, You know...*Huff*...You still haven't talked since you...*Hufh*...barged into my damn house..."
"..."
"*Hufh, Well, at least ta-*Huggh*-take my maid.. *Hufh* somewhere she won't have to see this."
"No...No..PLEASE.. MR.JIRAIYA!!".
"Bo-mi, you need to survive this somehow, I need you to take care of the fox."
"B-bu-but-",
"These are the last words either of you will ever hear. Mr.Ogata, Ms.Yoruichi and the Shihoin family send their gratitudes."
*CLICK* *CLICK* *CLICK* *CLICK* *CLICK* *CLICK*
"NOOO-"
I didn't even move. I didn't scream, or make any noise, I probably didn't even breath until they saw me.
I think I probably have some hearing problems from hearing all of their automatic weapons go off at once.
They didn't stop until the weapons clicked, and they threw Bo-mi into the fire before that.
The sun was red now, and there was so much blood in the room that it...it almost reached the doorway.
They shot him in the face...the center mass...they shot everything. Six automatic weapons, they tore him apart, the maid too.
But-almost like the universe wanted to leave an even stronger lasting impression on my freshly 11 year old mind-they left enough of his face in tact for me to his dying expression, a slight smile and a stare directed towards me.
He died while smiling at me, he doesn't know that I survived.
But, I question if I really survived that everyday I think about it.
I some how survived when they reloaded their weapons and starting shooting at me upon discovery, the clicks and voices I almost didn't hear over Bo-Mi choking on her own blood, and my heartbeat.
I got a couple of scars from that, they managed to tag me a few times.
But...yeah.
"That's basically it. She and her family are behind the murder of my teacher Jiraiya. You used to know him, and I know how this could seem shocking, or-or confusing, but it's true. I promise you"
"I know it's true Naruto, I know. I do, because I was there when Yoruichi made the call." Urahara said, secretly readying himself for another sudden attack.
"A-wh-yo-...". Naruto was dumbfounded, he didn't understand what he just consumed.
But once he did, he immediately hardened and clenched his teeth and fists.
Urahara watched with sadness as he saw the boys cerulean eyes mask themselves, distrust and anger replacing any well-meaning emotion or intention that was once there.
He didn't talk after that, more minutes passed, Urahara waited, but he didn't see Naruto opening up, he wasn't glaring at him anymore, he was staring at the door like he was before the memory.
"I understand that this isn't what you may have wanted to hear, but I'm willing to stay here for as long as it takes until your willing to hear my side of the story." Urahara said, laying down in the bed and turning on his side.
"..."
Hours Later.
5:40 PM
Location, Urahara Shoten, Aureus Province
Naruto fidgeted with his hands, standing by the window.
'Urahara was asleep, but he was pretending before. Probably trying to give me as much space as possible to try to get me to come crawling for an album explanation.' Naruto thought, peering out the window through the curtains.
Naruto saw part of the plains he walked across the night before, and how the dying sun barely made it's way past the mountains Urahara lived behind, leaving him and the building to bathe in shadows created by brightness.
He saw that in the distance, there were orange patches of sunlight illuminating holes in the forests, highlighting the deers, animals and vegetation, casting an almost ethereal, peaceful and warm atmosphere on the creatures that felt safe enough to coexist in Hono-naikai.
'I almost wish I could live like them. They seem so trusting of the animals around them.' Naruto thought, at first.
'But even if the sun is coming down, it's still not night time. When it falls, the predators of the night will reveal themselves to those who won't live to see another dawn.'
And on that note, Naruto turned away from the distant animals and sat beneath the window, contemplating.
'Why is this dude so hell-bent on trying to empathize with me?... He doesn't need to go to sleep in this room while I'm in it. And what about when I need to use the bathroom? There isn't one in here for some reason...'
Naruto glanced around his momentary prison, dimly lit behind closed curtains, taking in everything from Urahara's sleeping form, the faint noises of people below him, and the sounds of distant engines and children's voices.
'Wait, people? '. Naruto thought.
He got on his chest, pressing his left ear to the carpet and listened for a few seconds.
The young man heard faint voices, a few of them, moving around underneath him.
'This is a shop, for whatever the hell it's for? I don't know '.
Naruto sat back up, remembering Urahara's presence and returning to glaring at his sleeping figure.
'As funny as it might be to scream bloody murder and watch these people get arrested while trying to be my psychologist, I can't attract that type of attention.' Naruto surmised.
'Besides, it would probably be better to just sneak out then to stay here and let my anger get the better of me. I have places to be.' Naruto thought.
He stood up and resumed looking at the window, feet tapping on the floor.
'What am I even gonna do? I don't actually know where to start next.' He gritted his teeth, frustration wrinkling his features and slow anger clouding eyes that were looking at nothing.
'I'm so sick and tired of not having an objective, I hate just standing around.' Naruto grew more and more restless with each passing minute, frustration building.
'What to do...? '.

Two Hours Later.
7:50 PM
Location, Urahara Shoten, Aureus Province
Urahara woke up slowly to silence, a dark room, and a stiff bed.
" *Yaa-aawn*". Urahara stretched lazily and looked around the room he was in with mild curiosity.
It was very dark, and the only source of light was the closed window to his right, the curtains drawn all the way to the sides completely exposing the glass, and the lights pouring from outside highlighted the white surfaces, partially bathing the room in a cold atmosphere.
Urahara's blurry eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness, he sat up as he remembered the reason for sleeping in the spare room, he had met Naruto for the first time.
Before he could think further, the shop owner paused and did a double take at the window.
Sitting on the floor was Naruto Uzumaki, a kid who Urahara knew had undergone tragedy beyond that of most, and one who he thought had died nine years ago along with his tutor.
The tragic boy was sitting in front of the window, pale blue light casting through his newly pale blonde hair, bright blue eyes opened wide and almost glowing in the mask hidden by the light he was illuminated in.
Those same cerulean's were staring intensely at the shop owner, pupils seeming to take up more than half of his eyes.
"*Yaawwn, You know, I'm reaallly feeling like prey here Mr.Fox. Did you sleep well?".
'I kind of like it this way, not being able to see his face. He has such malice in every inch of it, it's a relief to see, or to not see, something else.' Urahara thought somberly.
A few minutes of an unofficial staring contest passed before the reason for Urahara waking up made itself known.
"Welp, I've gotta go use the bathroom, sir. You're welcome to join me." Urahara said, standing up.
Urahara paced to the door before turning back in embarrassed realization,"Oh, heh, sorry, I didn't mean literally, I know you've been just as long without a bathroom break as I have. Sorry to get your hopes up!".
The shopkeeper explained to the unspeaking, unmoving boy near the window.
Turning the knob on the door, Urahara had a mildly confused look on his face as he realized the door wouldn't open.
He tried a few more times before realizing
,'Oh, right. Yoruichi probably barricaded the door to keep our whiskered guest inside.
It is the only door in this building that swings outwards, by design, of course.' Urahara surmised.
Naruto watched as his captor walked to a wall to his left, knocked three times, and was astonished to see the wall split apart and swing outwards, a large man that he couldn't see very well in the darkness stood behind the new doorway.
"Hello, Mr.Urahara! Did you sleep well?". The man asked.
"I sure did, Tessai, thanks for watching over me buddy!". Urahara said, patting the tall man on his soldier.
The shopkeeper walked into the doorway, calling back final words,"Your welcome to do whatever it is you want now, Mr.Naruto.
Though, I'd advise you stayed for dinn..."
The rest of the mans sentence was drowned out by the hallway, and he left Naruto with the tall man apparently named "Tessai", as well as the boy's own utter confusion.
"Wh-" The young man stammered in palpable confusion.
"Hello, Mr.Naruto. My name is Tessai Tsukabishi. It is nice to meet new youth for a change!". The large man stepped further into the light with a slight crouch, extending his hand for a handshake that was never going to transpire.
Naruto observed the tall man in front of him, who was so tall that he needed to crouch to fit inside the room, immediately intimidated as he did a quick review of his potential opponent.
The man probably stood at at around 6'9 or a bit taller, almost seven feet, he was incredibly built, muscles in every part of his body.
He wore glasses that shielded the nature of his eyes, with no help from the faint light from outside, and an apron with the words "Urahara Shoten" printed on it, a white and green fisherman's hat between the two words.
The man also possessed an admittedly impressive mustache, and he stil looked intimidating.
The silent boy stood at his full height slowly, and stared at the large man who was even more imposing up close.
'He's calling me 'mister', and he's literally trying to shake my hand, so who knows. He probably isn't a threat, but I'm gonna assume he knows how to beat my ass.'
Naruto thought decidedly. 'Somehow, I think that I'm not really in danger of this man. I don't plan on letting my guard down, impossible.' Naruto took a step back, still unblinking as far as anyone was aware.
"You can lead the way to the bathroom, Mr.D1." Naruto spoke, for the first time since the morning.
"Very well. I shall show you the way to an available bathroom." Tessai nodded after retracting his head, turning around to lead his guest/prisoner out of the room at a brisk pace.
Naruto waited until the man got far enough to not get ambushed by his tall stature, and then followed him into the next room.
Naruto was glad that the man was walking do fast, standing up and moving made his own urinary urges harder to ignore.
It wasn't more than 5 footsteps before he twisted down a hallway and into a dark room that housed many monitors on a wall and a teenage girl dressed in what looked to be a school uniform seated in front of them.
"Um-hi." The girl greeted reluctantly, her face frozen in a perpetual frown.
'Why does she look so damn sad? '. Naruto thought, not considering responding.
He heard the sound of metal moving through the air to his left, and instinctually moved downward as fast as possible, turning around to see who attacked him.
"Ah-shit! DIE, INTRUDER!!". Came the battle cry of another teenager, a young red-haired boy who was wielding a metal bat, an inch or so shorter than Naruto.
Naruto didn't get to make anymore observations, the boy swung once again at Naruto's face with a surprising speed.
This time, Naruto could anticipate it, he stopped the bats travel at it's midpoint with his left palm, wrenching it out of his grasp with ease.
"HEY YOU DICKHEAD! GIVE ME MY FUCKIN' BAT BACK!!". The red-haired boy said.
"You know what, I'm ACTUALLY gonna keep this shitty bat, asshole."Naruto said, expression twisted in annoyance.
"ARRGHH, GIMME.MY.BAAA-" The boy didn't get to finish the sentence, he drew a gun at Naruto's face on the last word after trying to punch him.
The cutoff of his sentence was produced by Naruto smacking the gun out of the boys hand with the bat in unexpected and instinctual speed, next he swept his feet and left the boy to groan on the floor.
"What the fuck...why in the hell do you-", Naruto couldn't finish his sentence either, as he heard footsteps behind him.
He quickly shifted the bat to a correct grip, he threw it at his potential assailant and waited to counter.
A *BHOONG, came resounding off of his would-be assailant, Naruto looking to see that he had struck the teenage girl directly in her forehead, she held a knife in her right hand, and she was planning on stabbing hin alright.
She staggered slightly, so Naruto used this oppurtunity to send a leg out, stepping forward and planting a kick directly onto the kid's torso, launching her a few feet backwards.
"JESUS, you kids are fucking demon-*BONK, OW, SHIT!", Naruto's right foot had been struck by the bat he had thrown earlier.
.*KLIK*
Naruto's survival instinct fully took over, kicking the bat up into his left hand, and moving his head backwards to avoid the bullet that came a half second later.
A small shift of weight and a bump directly in front him caused him to look back at the kid he kicked, only to find she threw the knife in a strong arc towards his neck or head area.
The small timer in the back of Naruto's head had went off and he did a powerful backstep, moving back into the hallway he came out of and dodging the next fairly accurate bullet from the redheads gun.
In the same second, Naruto eyed the hilt of the knife in the dark lighting, and grasped onto it right on time, taking advantage of the recoil of the pistol to switch the knife from handle to blade in his grip, stepping forth and performing a spin throw at the last remember of the boy.
The redhead's eyes caught the travel of the knife as it flew at his gun, cutting into his right hand, making him drop the gun in surprise.
He looked down once, and then looked back up to see a huge shadow tower of him.
.*BOONK*
Tessai had walked out of the room, but ran back into it once he realized Naruto wasn't following him, he rushed in just in time to shield the young boy from the blond's swing of the bat, using his left hand to catch it.
Naruto looked up at the expressionless man, he had attempted to catch the bat but it had bent his fingers backwards instead, slipping like water through his grasp.
But the large man didn't make a sound at that, only saying," What is going on here!? Where did you two come from!?". Tessai asked without looking away from the blond boy.
"Jinta tried to kill Naruto, so I helped him."
The shy voice of the only uninjured teenager piped up immediately.
"Wha-THATS A LIE, YOU IDIOT PIECE OF SHIT LIAR!!". Yelled the boy apparently named "Jinta", hidden behind the tall man.
"So this was unprovoked?". The man asked, unmoving.
"Y-yes". The girl confirmed.
The man swiftly turned around and grabbed the pistol by its handle with his fingers, holding it up to avoid holding its hot barrel and its proper grasp.
"Well, looks like you've found all the clues, Watson. Where the hell is your bathroom!?".
Naruto asked impatiently, seemingly unfazed from the prior exchange.
"Hmm. Of course, sir. Right this way!". The man opened the door and accidentally revealed a short woman that seemed to be barging in anyways.
Naruto tensed in recognition, his left hand intiating a swing of a bat, but being immediately caught by the tall man to his left.
Yoruichi walked into the room with a silent charge, combatting Naruto's backstepping with an accusatory gait.
"Ms.Shihoin, the kids snuck into the security room and attempted to harm our guest, Naruto, here. He defended himself without serious injury to anyone."Tessai explained in response to Yoruichi's silent aggression.
"Oh?".Yoruichi immediately deflated, casting a questioning glance at the man behind her and searching the rest of the room.
"Indeed, ma'am." Tessai reinforced.
She knelt down by the redhead boy, grabbing his hand and inspecting his hand.
"Look, I asked you a question big guy, so can you PLEASE show me the fucking bathroom before I decide to USE THAT FUCKFACES UGLY MUG AS AN UGLY ASS TOILET!?". The young man had begun to move urgently, still trying to keep the urge an urge.
"Of course, no need to scream, right this way!". Tessai rightfully began to sprint out the door, and Naruto followed suit in exact fashion.
"Alright you little shit, C'MERE so I can BEAT YOUR ASS." Yoruichi yelled, grabbing onto the boy's ear and dragging him out of the room at a fast pace.
"NO WAIT-PLEASE!I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!". The redhead screamed all the out of the door, the other teen not far behind.

A while had passed since the brief battle between the three youngest in the house.
Naruto had long since used the bathroom, and spent some time wandering throughout the house, being trailed by an injured Jinta and his apparent sister, Ururu, their respective red and raven heads peeking at his back at every turn of a corner within the house.
Naruto explored the house with mild interest, observing the brown wooden floor boards, the white paper-made sliding doors that lead to hidden rooms he didn't care enough to snoop into.
The pair of the house appeared to have favorite parts of the house, where the back of second floor, facing the mountain, was a complete residential area filled with a lot of other places he could have been held, there two select areas in the front of the shop that housed both groups of Urahara, Yoruichi, and Jinta with his sister.
So Naruto's observation told him that the upper area of Urahara Shoten mainly consisted of living areas and bathrooms for those areas.
He went downstairs, and saw the store that he had entered the night before, rows and cabinets up to the ceiling filled with items and other rooms that probably led to more of the same thing.
Behind the cashier counter, Naruto found a door that led to a living room, more living area.
Upon traversing the hallway, Naruto discovered the living room, which contained a TV, a console, which had two large bookcases on either side of it, they were filled with a large array of colorful literature.
A TV show was playing in the screen, but Naruto didn't pay attention to that, an amazing and mouth-watering scent had long been permeating throughout the entire house, and he was wondering what it was and where it came from.
He found that the scents had become stronger to his left, and he walked into a dining room with a sacramento-green table filled with food, three pillows set on three sides of the squared-table.
On Naruto's left was the tall man, Tessai, he was waiting patiently for something with a book in his hand, Naruto didn't recognize the cover.
The young man peeked around, wondering where the other two went, and his eyes landed on an entrance to yet another room directly ahead of him past the table.
Without another word, Naruto soundlessly stalked to the open paper sliding door and walked through.
When he rounded the corner, he almost walked into Yoruichi, she was carrying a large plate with some sort of meat on it.
The shared a small look of confusion, neither of them had heard the other approaching the entrance, but they quickly put up a guard again, Naruto's hands flexed as he stepped backwards and allowed Yoruichi to pass without a moment's hesitation.
Yoruichi came went to the other side of the table to fill in a missing spot, breaking the silence with an unnecessarily loud beckoning,"Urahara! GET, your ASS in here!".
Not even a second after the call, Urahara had stalked from around the corner with a laid back smile on his face, he carried a single cup of ramen in his hand.
"Sorry, sorry. I had to wash a fork, since someone, isn't doing their chores!". Urahara said, raising his voice slightly for the last part of his sentence.
The shopkeeper sat down in his new green robe, he set the cup of ramen down to his left and beckoned Naruto down,"Come and eat, Mister. I know, you might want to pull a Batman and leave the house while we're not looking, but you at least wanna eat something first, right?". Urahara asked lightheartedly.
Naruto waited a minute, then decided on sitting down at the table, only just then realizing the ramen was for him.
He looked down at the cup, eyes widening at the brand name.
On the wide cylinder was the name,"Ichiraku Ramen", and it showed the face of the owner of the world renowned brand, a man named Teuchi, the flavor saying 'Spicy Miso Chicken'.
A large flood of emotions and memories invaded Naruto's mental space, and he sat there, tuned out to any possible conversation, hyper fixated on the cup of noodles he was given to eat, unmoving.
A few minutes passed, everyone paying silent attention to Naruto, until he finally cleared his throat, piped up and said,"I don't like ramen," while pushing but further into the table.
"*Sigh*...I told you he wasn't gonna like a simple ass cup of ramen, Kisuke." Yoruichi said, beginning to make Naruto a plate.
Naruto tensed, anger flaring up silently in his muscles, but no one noticed the change in his demeanor.
Yoruichi set out a red plate that had been in a stack on the middle of the table, she put it in front of Naruto, and began to fill his plate, going around him to reach some foods without invading his personal space too much.
"You need to eat some more. Your ribs are showing, you know."
Yoruichi said, all the apparently natural brashness gone from her voice, replaced by unintentional tenderness and compassion.
At first, Naruto was stunned at the sudden change in emotion, he looked at her face as she filled his plate with the colorful array of foods, confused, almost scared at the way her attitude had reached his heart.
He felt like his heart had been pierced by kindness, and it was bleeding an old pain that hadn't spread throughout his body in a long time.
Yoruichi hadn't noticed his stare, but Urahara never took his eyes off of Naruto, he noticed how that for the first time since last night, Naruto looked at Yoruichi with something.kre than just hatred and disdain, it was something that even he couldn't really decipher, probably because Naruto was surely even more confused than him.
Yoruichi put everything back in its place and moved to grab something,"Do you know how to use chopsticks? Or do you prefer silverware?". She asked, backing up as to not set him off, her eyes filling with guilt upon trying fun meet with Naruto's, tears getting ready to fill out.
Naruto's own eyes were partially hidden by his blonde fringe, but they were loaded with emotion that he had did not let himself feel often, he swallowed and said,"I'll use silverware."
"M'kay."
With that, she took the cup of ramen somewhere into the kitchen and returned, when everyone started to eat.
"What is all this?". Naruto asked everyone.
"It isn't poisoned, not that my word matters much. Other than that, does it really matter what food you eat as long as your hungry?". Yoruichi asked before digging into her own portions.
Naruto hadn't thought about it being poisoned, so he hesitated before eating.
Though the hesitation didn't last long, he was hungry.
.
.
.
Naruto spent almost exactly 5 minutes scarfing food down his throat, asking for more about twice into dinner.
"There's plenty to eat, so please help yourself." Yoruichi said, intentionally avoiding his gaze, and going back to stuffing her own face.
Tessai had long since stopped eating, having had his full, he prepared his final words of the night, "Well! This has been a splendid meal, Ms.Shihoin. I'm, very glad that you have had me for dinner, and I shall go sleep this off effortlessly in my room upstairs. I deeply appreciate it!".
"Mmhmm." Came the reply from Yoruichi, a mouth full of food
"Thank you for joining us, Mr.Tsukabishi!". Urahara said cheerily.
"Of course! At any time of day, I would enjoy this again. Now!Good night, friends, and thank you as well for joining us, Mr. Naruto." Tessai had bowed to everyone in the room, bowing a little deeper on Naruto's turn, to which Naruto responded with a thumbs up.
The large and polite man took his leave just then.
A few minutes of eating passed, until eventually the non-eating Urahara piped up,"This was certainly filling, Yoruichi, what do you think Naru-","FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHUT THE FUCK UP!!". Naruto yelled, almost choking on his food to get the words out.
Urahara raised his eyebrows and put his hands up in a non-accusatory way, opting to wait for a better time to speak.
More minutes passed before Naruto sat back, the last one to stop eating, and observed his captors(?) with a cautious curiosity.
Urahara had gone to sleep with a fan on his face, and Yoruichi was leaning backwards on her arms, staring at Naruto.
Once he found her eyes, he jumped on the inside, furrowing his eyebrows in discomfort.
"What?". Naruto asked, looking around in confusion.
"You okay?". Yoruichi asked, sitting forwards.
"Why does my condition matter to you?".
"Anyone who looked at you close enough would be able to tell, you're not."
Naruto's face scrunched up in confusion once more,"If you were able to tell how "okay" I was by looking at me, then why did you need to ask." Naruto retorted, his inflection making it sound like a statement.
Yoruichi didn't answer that question, only opting to stand up.
Naruto immediately stilled, until she began to pick up dishes on the table and walk them to the kitchen.
The young man stared at Yoruichi as she brought the dishes into the kitchen one by one, the only sounds made were the stacked dishes as they swayed in her grasp.
Eventually, Yoruichi finished with her movement, she leaned on the kitchen hallway.
Naruto observed her as she did himself, she was shorter than she looked most of the time, even with his short stature, she wore denim jeans on long legs, a black tank top tucked into those jeans was holding her well-endowed breasts, and she wore a mask of concern on lidded eyes, golden eyes picking him apart from a distance.
'Her hair must have been tied up for the cooking. It's purple.' Naruto noted.
After a few moments of mutual appraisal, Naruto noticed that she had bruises on her neck, almost unnoticeable due to her skin tone and head position, faint discoloration painted around it in red blotches.
Naruto looked at Urahara, who still had the fan over his face, and back at Yoruichi, until he realized that these bruises were because of him.
'Oh. I remember that.' Naruto remembered, feeling mostly indifferent afterwards the revelation.
"You're a good looking kid, you know? You seriously need to eat more." Yoruichi stated suddenly, breaking his stupor.
"Wha-huh? Why'd you feel the need to tell me that?". Naruto questioned, feeling more and more uncomfortable by the second.
"I'm just trying to tell you, if you're planning on stalking away from here like a thief in the night or something, then you can at least eat some more." She put her hands up in the air, moving to seat herself where she was formally, a little closer to Naruto.
"Do you wanna know what it was?". Yoruichi asked.
"I guess." Naruto shrugged.
"Well!*CLAP, firstly, I made us a lot of different types of foods.
Starting with what you seemed to like the most, the Couscous.
It's basically pasta that's been rolled into small little pellets, like the ones you were macking down.
You mixed with Jollof Rice, which surprised me a bit, I thought I seasoned it well.
Next you had Tagine, Peking Duck from China, Pho from Vietnam, which you also liked, and what I'm sure you know is Sushi and Tempura."
Naruto listened closely, interested in the foods he consumed.
"Have you ever had African foods before?". Yoruichi asked, standing up and walking into the kitchen.
"What the-no! I don't even know what that African foods are supposed to look like!". Naruto said, standing up and rushing after the cat-like woman.
He walked into a colorful kitchen, bronze lights casting from underneath the stove cover highlighted the woman's skin, she was pouring them two cups of water from a pitcher.
"Well, tonight was your first time, then. The first and third foods I mentioned were North African. Oh! And there was the soup, that was called Harira, that's also North African, but you didn't seem to like that one very much." Yoruichi explained gently, storing the kitchen back into the refrigerator, and handing Naruto his cup.
"The only foods from tonight that I've had before are Sushi and Tempura." Naruto stated, taking the cold cup within his hands and stepping back.
Yoruichi leaned on the counter to her right, backing up as well, and went back to studying him while she drank her water.
"Why are you being so nice? With this food and all". Naruto asked.
Yoruichi furrowed her brows slightly,"Because you deserve it."
Naruto felt that same sensation from before dinner, and looked down at his water.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to talk about yesterday." Yoruichi said before downing the rest of the water, going back for some more.
"When I almost strangled you to death?".
"Yes. I think we both know why you did that...?". Yoruichi asked, pouring the pitcher again.
Naruto felt chills move up his arm from the glass in his hand, looking around at the warm lighting of the room, the marble floors and brown walls and ceiling.
It was completely different from the other room he was just in, a lot better to stand in.
"We don't have to go any further than that if you don't want to."Yoruichi said before drinking some more.
Naruto looked at her while she did it, starting to feel annoyed at her hospitality and consideration.
He exhaled, clenched his teeth, and set his glass down, returning his hands to his pockets.
Yoruichi set the glass down in the sink, filling up the still present pitcher one one side, then put it back in the refrigerator.
She walked towards him, brushing gently past him to a wall of blinds that Naruto didn't see before, it lead to a patio, a few chairs set out to look over the ground on the first floor.
Naruto followed her outside, keeping Yoruichi within his vision.
She shut the door and sat down on the chair that looked like it belonged on a beach or an in-door pool, Naruto stood.
"You are Yoruichi Shihoin, from the Shihoin Clan. I don't know anything about you."Naruto stated suddenly, evoking an expression of confusion on Yoruichi's face.
"Why would you?". She said, stretching out on the chair.
Naruto peeked into the dark night, they were in view of grass and a road, trees in the distance that swayed in the cold and active breeze.
Naruto took a few footsteps off of the patio, staring into the sky, looking into the pitch black sky, dots of white sprinkled across the sky, something that surprised him, due to their relative proximity to the cities of the Aureus Locus Province.
He closed his eyes, the breeze meeting him in his long sleeve and sweatpants, filling his nostrils and exiting through his mouth, a moment of reprieve from people.
Around ten minutes passed before Naruto turned around and walked back to the patio, starting to shiver.
Yoruichi had been watching him, her legs brought up to her chest, chin on her knees.
"I don't know a lot about the Shihoin Clan, except they killed my mentor." Naruto said, looking directly into Yoruichi's seemingly glowing eyes.
She didn't shift, not a single micro expression was visible in all the darkness.
"I know." Was all the woman said.
A pregnant silence, a passing car, and a moment to think.
"I bet you did." Naruto said, sitting down on the chair.
'I've already decided to try to think calmly about this. I just hope this doesn't lead to my death.' Naruto thought.
"So, do you think you can tell me what you had to do with it before I kill you?". Naruto asked, scratching his head and cracking his right handed knuckles.
"I didn't. I wasn't involved in the incident."
"Hmph. Incident. That wouldn't believe-able, even if I didn't remember hearing your name at the day Jiraiya died." Naruto stated callously.
"You heard my name that day?".Yoruichi shifted her weight slightly, facing him some more.
" 'Ms. Yoruichi and the Shihoin family sends there regards' ".
Naruto said.
He saw Yoruichi freeze, every inch of her body still in the shadows, even the tension in the air was suspended.
"...That's what they say." Yoruichi looked away, towards the lonely road.
"So, you admit to it." Naruto asked.
"I'm not "admitting ", to anything. I didn't aid in his murder." Yoruichi said firmly, exhaling in mild frustration.
Naruto suddenly reached for Yoruichi's neck, to which she reacted to unexpectedly, grabbing his hands and preparing to kick him backwards.
Naruto parried her kick with one of his own, forcing his hands past her strong grip and to her tank top straps, pulling her to his side, but he then stopped.
Yoruichi was calm, a resolute gaze peered into a troubled one, Naruto's temperament set off by something that showed in his trembling hands and clenched teeth, his blue eyes staring into her soul.
"What did you do to him?". A quiet, vulnerable voice came out of Naruto, one that contrasted his disposition.
Yoruichi faltered, lowering the knife that Naruto didn't know was at the side of his neck before.
She stared directly into his eyes, guilt twisting her features into a somber expression,"I'm not saying I'm not responsible for his death, but I didn't call it to him. Nor did I wait it for him." Yoruichi said, matching his volume.
He stared into her eyes, which were illuminated partially by the light pouring in from between the slightly turned blinds.
He stared down at her for a few minutes more, until he let go of the tank straps and looked away, sitting down while running a hand through his hair.
Yoruichi sat down at his side, pocketing the paring knife, or would be murder weapon.
Naruto put his hands in a steeple and stared ahead.
He exhaled and said,"I don't...not believe you."
"We can talk about it some more another time, but I hope you can really, truly consider my side of the story." Yoruichi said gently, opting to put her hand on his shoulder, and continuing to rub his left shoulder slowly once she found he didn't deny it.
He did noticeably tense up, so she didn't spend to long doing that.
Yoruichi stood up, giving him her final words of the night,"You've been dealt plenty a poor hand, Naruto. I can see the years of loneliness in your face, you don't trust anyone." She walked to the patio door and swung it open gently.
"You remind me of myself back then. When he died. And even before that. You're welcome to stay, you're welcome to go anytime you want, but always know that...this shop can be your safe place, if you want it." Yoruichi offered, stalking back into the house before sliding the door shut again, leaving the blinds to sway crazily in her motion.
Naruto thought on those words deeply.

A Few Hours Later.
12:04 AM
A few hours later, Naruto had been given a choice of where to sleep by the redhead, Jinta and his sister, Ururu.
He ended up choosing the living room on the first floor, where he had walked into the night before.
"So, this is your shitty bed, and this is where you'll be staying for the night, I guess. Enjoy, Blondie." The redhead, now in pajamas, explained to Naruto.
"H-here you go, Mister." The schoolgirl, also ready to sleep, gave Naruto a large comforter with pillows stacked on top, he couldn't even see her.
"Thanks." Naruto said, grabbing the sleepware and tossing it on the couch, where he was going to sleep.
"Well, good night, Mister."Ururu bid farewell, beginning to walk out of the living room with her brother.
"Hold up a minute."The older teen called.
The siblings stopped in there movement, looking back at their guest with immediate curiosity.
"Where'd you guys get those weapons? You weren't really horrible at them, but you obviously weren't supposed to have them."Naruto said, flicking the light to the room up to see them better in the room only illuminated by the screensaver on the flat screen TV.
"None of your fucking business, Blondie, take your curious ass to sleep!". The redhead yelled, going back to where he was.
His sister didn't move though,"Why do you want to know where the weapons are?". Ururu asked, her perpetual frown ever present.
"JESUS, he doesn't need to know that there are weapons, you fucking IDIOT ". The redhead had been too loud so he had whispered the last parts.
Jinta had grabbed his sister by the neck suddenly, and he begun to backhand her with his injured right hand,"STUPID PIECE A' SHIT."
"Wait, I forgot, I'm sorry! ". Ururu had begun to tear up immediately.
Naruto instantly reacted to this, performing a takedown on the unaware redhead, hooking his arm around his neck and kicking at the back of his knees.
"OOF!!". The redhead exclaimed, stunned.
"What the absolute fuck is wrong with you!?". Naruto asked, his foot on the boys stomach.
"She needs to be taught a lesson! She's-shes stupid!!". Jinta tried to explain.
Naruto picked the boy up by his shirt, slapping him hard across the face twice.
"Why don't you take your colorful ass on to sleep, before I give you a better haircut, you damn delinquent!". Naruto said, pushing him towards the door.
"Wha-what are you doing, Ururu!? Why don't you go crazy killer mode and kill him!?". Jinta yelled.
"Mr. Urahara told me not to." Ururu said simply, wiping her face.
"RRRGH, I HATE you people. Why don't you just fucking die somewhere, you emo weirdo!?". Jinta provoked.
Naruto tilted his head and begun to walk towards the boy,"the FUCK you say to me you little shit!?". Jinta had whimpered and ran out of the room, spewing apologies.
" *Sigh..., why do you let him hit you like that? Your knife throwing skills are better than his aim." Naruto asked the girl, folding his arms over his chest.
"I don't want to kill him!". Ururu said, distressed.
"That's not what I meant, I'm saying you definitely know how to fight better than him, he just had a gun, earlier. You don't need to keep getting hit by this douchebag." Naruto said, eyebrows unfurrowing.
All she did was shrug.
"Well, whatever, can you show my where you guns are?". Naruto backtracked.
"Why do you want to see those?".Ururu asked.
"Cause I'm planning on stealing some for when I leave tomorrow."Naruto explained, putting his hands behind his head.
"Why do you want to leave?".
"I'm not gonna lie, you're asking to many questions, where do you keep your weapons?".
"I'm not gonna show you."Ururu stated, still sad-looking.
Naruto studied her for a few seconds,"They downstairs?".
He searched for a micro expression, but strangely, she didn't even move a centimeter.
Naruto looked around, walking back outside into the closed shop behind the cashier counter.
He searched for a light switch, and didn't find one until he hopped the counter and found one by the wall to the right of the counter.
The room was illuminated, and he began to search for a secret hatch, or a secret door, Ururu never taking her eyes off of him.
It didn't take long for Naruto to find a button underneath the counter, one that opened up the floor behind him, stairs revealed themselves silently.
" 'Course". Naruto muttered, he began to walk down the stairs.
Lights triggered by motion lit up his path, leading to a lower floor with multiple corridors.
He opted to take the left, eventually reaching a door that said "Urahara Armory".
"Fuck yeah." Naruto celebrated.
He tried the knob, but he didn't get to open it, it was locked.
" *Sigh, Of course of course." Naruto turned to face the quiet teen he knew had followed him.
"Gimme your key real quick please." Naruto asked.
"How do you know if I have a key or not?". The sad-faced teen asked.
"Cause I'm assuming you have a key."
A few seconds passed before Ururu surprisingly walked past the blond boy, producing a key from her pocket and opening the door.
"Oh, you actually did it!". Naruto's eyebrows arched in evident surprise.
"You might have just broken the door down if I didn't give you the key." Ururu observed.
"Surprisingly astute." Naruto noted, walking into the already illuminated room.
Naruto was surprised to see an even bigger room that had stairs leading further downwards.
Orange and bronze lights were everywhere, and the walls were no where to be seen.
Display cases held guns and blunt weapons, sharp weapons, explosives and more.
From the bottom to the very tall ceiling, Naruto gazed in awe as he saw automatic weapons and semi-automatic weapons stocked with replicas in the same box, even more weapons and higher shelves of weapons were set in rows a bit further ahead, also lead by stairs.
To Naruto's right was a clerk desk, like the on upstairs, and it was fully white.
The new room reminded him of a warehouse, but if a warehouse was a supermarket revamped to look like a warehouse.
He stepped down the stairs, and saw that even more room showed itself to his right and left, seemingly impossibly with him being underground.
"Holy fucking shit. There's enough gunpowder here to cause a big ass explosion!". Naruto's voice echoed throughout the warehouse of many weapons.
"Yes, there are. It's happened before." Ururu stated beside him.
"I ain't gonna comment on that."
Naruto took a brief stroll down the rows of shelves, finding many different types of weapons from every country and every city, and a few doors along the walls that he saw led to even more weapons with just as much room as the one he was in.
He noted where the ammunition was, on the far right corner of the main section, it contained bullets for pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, other rifles, and even arrows.
It even had other, really dangerous explosives.
"This is like that one scene in the matrix where Neo was loaded up on weapons at the end of the movie!". Naruto buzzed with excitement, and also slight fear, he had never seen so many weapons in one place.
"I've never seen that movie." Ururu said, still by his side.
Naruto noted where all the types of weapons were, as they were categorized, and decided on that being the end of his visit.
"Alright, I've seen enough. We can go now." Naruto was led to the entrance, and he walked back to his soon to be makeshift bed.
After Naruto opened the door to the living room downstairs, Ururu had called out behind him,"Okay, I'm going to sleep now, good night."
"Sure." He waved to the girl and closed the door.
A little later, the boy was settling underneath his comforter, still in awe at the armory that was beneath them all.
'Urahara has a secret, huh? '. Sleep began to claim him immediately, eyes growing lidded and a yawn leading him to rest.
'A pretty big fucking secret...'. And with that thought, the young man drifted off to sleep, a thing he hadn't seen in over two days.
The night passed slow, and a crime scene would await the residents of Urahara Shoten in the morning.
