This is not an actual fic! This is a dumping ground for my fic ideas in case someone is in need of inspiration. I picked these two fandoms for the crossover because they'll be the ones showing up the most in this most likely, but there's actually a lot more fandoms inside. The first chapter has a better summary of everything. If you don't like these types of fics, don't click.

4. Harry Potter

This idea is actually something my friend gave me, but I couldn't get it out of my head so here's my take on it. His idea was "Hogwarts is somewhat sentient and raises Harry". For my vision of this story, Harry is about six or seven and it's in the middle of summer so that Hogwarts is empty.

What I think is that the Dursleys are…well the Dursleys. Neglectful at best, abusive at worse (depending on how you want your story to go). Harry could have done some accidental magic, perhaps the apparating to the roof thing, and that causes the Dursleys to really make him afraid. His magic takes control and transports him somewhere safe. Hogwarts.

Now, maybe he ends up outside of the wards and wanders in, or maybe he somehow got past the wards and apparates straight into Hogwarts. Heck, Hogwarts could realize what was happening and allowed him past the wards on its own. Either way, Harry ends up in Hogwarts.

The castle can guide him to a place for him to rest. Don't know how a castle would be able to talk to him, but I'm going with "magic" and thinking that Hogwarts' magic kind of guides Harry's. Hogwarts will guide Harry to the RoR, but will open the door for him since Harry wouldn't know how to.

The next day Harry can be guided to the house elves and they help take care of him. They can teach him about where he is and about magic, along with providing him food and first aid if necessary. It becomes a joint effort for the Castle, Paintings, and the Elves to raise Harry. They keep him hidden from the teachers, especially Dumbledore who would immediately take him back to the Dursleys, and care for him for the next several years. When school is in session, Harry could roam about at night. It would be really easy to avoid the patrols with the castle and paintings helping him.

I really don't have much else at the moment, so this story has a lot of potential if anyone decides to take on the idea themselves. This was as far as I thought about when my friend and I were talking about it.
