"You give me chills...the good kind."

Chapter 16: Unfold

The idea to have a cooking contest had come to me while I had been watching t.v. hungry and wanting pizza. At first I thought Klaus would only laugh in my face because he thought my idea was ridiculous but he seemed to like the idea of beating me as much as I would love to beat him.

I watch as he rolls up his sleeves revealing about five different beaded bracelets. I realize that it's chakra bracelets and wonder why he's wearing them. But then again, he's Klaus Mikaelson, notorious temper, and all around enigma.

Turning around I had him a black apron that has him raising an eyebrow up. He unfolds it to see the words big bad written in white. A stick figure of Klaus is standing next to the words and when he looks up at me his eyes, his deep blue eyes are dancing.

"Is this your work?" He asks his lips curving into a smile and I'm grinning again as well.

I shrug happily. "Yep."

He walks closer to me, so that are feet are touching. "Needs work," He winks.

I snort. "So does your big bad skills." I retort causing his brows to raise.

His hand latches out to touch my hand. "Rude girl, I was going to say I like it."

I pull out my apron which is one of those old school 1950's aprons that says the words Bon Bon, written on it, in near perfect hand writing.

Klaus who had turned around to put the ingredients on the counter in the order he planned on using them, pivots around to look me over. "Yours looks definitely better though," He says huskily. "Did we go over what the winner gets when I win?"

My lips twitch into a smile. "What makes you think you'll make a better pizza then me."

He saddles up close to me. "I've got experience under my belt you've yet to see."

I can't help but let out an amusing bubble of laughter that had this been anyone else I would be ashamed to have made. It was the way he said it, with so much finality.

"What do yo want if you win?" I ask tilting my head to the side.

He grins. "You naked."

I tilt my head back, as he looms closer to me and wraps an arm around my waist. "So predictable, yet so true."

He shrugs uncaring because that was Klaus, he said what he meant and meant what he said. "And if you win, you get me naked and all the experience under my belt."

I lean back, only for him to lean forward and to places a scalding kiss to the side of my neck.

"May the best man win Bennett." He says close to my ear

"The best woman will win, Mikaleson." I grin patting him on the back.

Elijah

He had been rendered a third wheel as the eldest Bennett, Lucy and the regent had joked about before the regent had finally departed.

"Lucy, do me a favor and please don't get into too much trouble." Vincent says as the three stand way too close for his own comfort. At the familiar way Lucy and Vincent had been talking and acting he had the sudden urge to stake his claim, which was so unlike him.

Of course on his way out, Vincent had peered over his way, nodding his head, over at him, as he did the same. He had great respect for the regent. In fact everyone did, Vincent had been the perfect person for the job, he was honest, respectable and most importantly he was not easily scared– something that was greatly appreciated. He had a backbone and often times whenever someone was around he or his siblings they tended to running away screaming. Vincent never ran, he debated with them and in the end the regent and he and his siblings usually were on the same team.

This time though, it seemed they were in the same boat.

Lucy Bennett dazzled everyone around her, reeling them in with her everything and loving every bit of it.

"Luce be good." The regent calls as he walks over to the awaiting car where none other than Damon Salvatore sits. Niklaus must be thrilled at the prospect of Damon getting out of the way if only for a little while.

Lucy scoffs of course. "Please, get laid."

The regent then turns to him. "Elijah, stay cool."

His lips twitch at the words sent his way. "I'll try."

Once the car speed off he has eyes on one thing, and one thing only; Lucy Bennett.

With Vincent now gone he ushers her into the car hand on the small of her back because he's a gentleman after all. The keys he placed in her hands seconds ago still sit in her hand as she eyes him almost suspiciously.

His own brown eyes had strayed once, twice maybe three times at the expansive amount of cleavage that always seems to be on display when it comes to Lucy Bennett.

He licks his lips, watching as she gets into his sleek ride. Today, she's wearing this strapless looking catsuit that's a mustard color. She's got on cheetah print heels, while her hair is pulled up in a sleek pony tail. She beautiful, even with the cat eye makeup and bold red lip. Yes he did pay attention to his sister whenever she spoke more so than often.

Lucy Bennett was in a sense quite the specimen and he would enjoy spending this time with her. It had been a long time since he had found someone as interesting as Lucy. It had been even longer since he had found someone that wasn't attached to his brother. But, then again I guess you could say that once again he found himself trailing Klaus. His younger brother had found himself entertaining the youngest Bennett and here he goes trailing over the elder one.

This was different though. He had always sort of had an eye on Lucy. In fact everyone had an eye on Lucy even when they weren't trying to. Whenever Lucy Bennett walked into any room, everyone took notice. She was after all, a brilliant witch, brazen, cursed like a sailor and took no mess.

"You ready?" Lucy calls once seated in the driver seat. "Or do you plan on continuing to undress me with your eyes?"

He flashes to her side "That depends. Now, Ms. Bennett, you've got me at your disposal." He says pulling out the keys to his car.

She grins. "Just the way I like it."

Bonnie

When the food is in the oven we made our way oven we make our way from the kitchen to the living room. I found myself in my favorite spot, a pillow in my lap and my bare feet up. Klaus opts to sit close enough, yet far away at the same time. His cologne wafts between the two of us smelling of pine and everything woodsy. He gives me the chills the good kind, just being close to him.

My eyes flit over to him as he's already looking at me, eyes as dark as the sky at midnight.

"This place suites you." Klaus says after a while. He's got his glass in hand as he skims the room once more.

It's crazy how he just kind of fits in my house. He looks at home, no signs of stress, not even his usual paranoia follows him. Instead is this man who brought me flowers, cooked dinner with me, although he spent most of the time trying to distract me. And distract me he did. So many times while we were preparing our pizzas, Klaus had brushed up against me, a faint smirk on his lips, every single time we caught eyes after. Or when he would whisper something in a foreign language and send chills down my spine.

I take a sip of the aged wine and then fix him with a look. "Because you know me so well." I say a smirk playing on my lips.

The moment the words have left me. Klaus sets his glass down leans forward, his body heat all but wrapping around me like a cocoon. His eyes all but smolder and liquify as blue and amber melt together and wrap around each other like two different flavors of taffy.

His lips curve with something akin to smile as his warm hand reaches out to touch my leg.

"I know how to make you scream." He says descending upon me. I'm aware of what makes your heart go pitter patter." Klaus says removing the pillow from my lap and separating much of the space between the two of us. "You like when I whisper in your ear," He says wetting his lip. "It doesn't matter what language, just as long as it's a whisper."

I blink in response.

"You like when I hold you from behind and press kisses nape of the neck." He says with a soft timber in his voice, one that is full of fondness. "I know that you," He pauses to run his knuckles against her face. "Love when I'm inside of you." He says finally. "Nobody has ever loved it, more than you."

He's mere millimeters away, my heart is beating fast proving all his points. Yet when he leans forward, his lips dangerously close to mine, I place my hand on his chest where his heart lye.

Our eyes meet again at intimate gesture, however neither of us make much of a move. "Knowing ones body, and knowing the real them, isn't the same thing."

He nods his head, and pulls way. His incredible lips are poked out. "Right." He says a sense of nervousness hits the air for only a few seconds before its gone. "Your absolutely right love."

A slow smile forms its way on his lips. "What do you say, you show me yours and I'll show you mine?"

I can't fight back the grin on my lips. Getting to know the interworkings of Niklaus Mikaelson was something that was starting to fascinate. It was a wonder that the man sitting in front of me was the same man that had a reign of terror in the not so distant past. The same man who had noticed little things about me, especially when it came to him was still a mystery to me, and I wanted to unfold.

"Fine." I say easily, I had nothing to hide.

"Do you have anything stronger than wine, perhaps some of the expensive stuff your housemate likes to keep around.

I furrow my eyebrows but then again everyone knows how picky Damon is about his liquor. "We have bourbon in the liquor cabinet."

"Got any tequila?" He asks with a look like he's trying to hide a smile.

I know that look, it has the ability to turn women and quite a few men into goo. "Maybe."

I stand up from the couch feeling his eyes on me the whole time, as I go over to the cabinet and get the needed supplies. When I turn around he's already sitting back on the sofa leg crossed over the other.

Grabbing the tequila bottle I hold it up. "Found it." I say turning around to see his eyes light up in amusement. "Wait a minute, are you trying to be a pervert?"

The lazy smile and shoulder shrug he sends me is so easy its bizarre. I feel like I've traveled to another dimension again, this time where I'm really digging Klaus Mikaelson of all people. It's crazy, and exhilarating and somehow, it works- whatever this is between us, it works.

"Maybe." He says sitting up as I place everything on the coffee table, with coasters of course. Damon would have a fit if we stained anything.

"You ready love, you don't need my help or anything." Klaus asks his lips twitching.

"Not in this lifetime." I say with a smirk.

Elijah

"That was intense." He says after a long while. Through he was use to these types of situations, after all he did live with Niklaus and Rebekah, they were the most emotionally driven and probably unstable people he had ever encountered.

She grins his way. "You'd think you'd be use to it by now."

He lifts an elegant eyebrow up. "I beg your pardon?"

She only smirks his way. "I've seen you and your brother go at it at meetings. That's intense. Vincent is just looking out for me, he'd do the same for Bonnie to." she says trailing out. "But you and your brother you'll disagree at meetings and keep us an hour or so later."

He tries hard to hold back a grin. "My brother and I are passionate people." He gives her a look, his eyes sliding all over her. "Only a selected few get a chance to fully experience that passion. Wether it be about our city, in which we will do anything to protect, our family which nothing comes before or the women we indulge in."

He watches as her radiant skin flushes with a hint of cinnamon. He's got her, he can see it in her eyes and subtle movements. Though he is a gentleman at heart, the chase is just as intoxicating as ever.

Clearing her throat, she makes a show of pulling up her strapless top, his eyes follow the sight even though he knows this is now her game. "It happens with family, so I get it."

He nods. "So you consider Vincent family, nothing more?"

He places his hands in his pockets. "I'm only imploring."

She grins now. "Well to save you from your imploring thirst, I'll let you know that Vincent and I are friends first, family now."

He nods again. "Good to know."

She holds her breath when he leans closer. "Are you afraid of a little competition?"

He smiles fully now. "No, we Mikalesons relish in competition."

Klaus

With his pizza now on the table, a drink in one hand and a beautiful woman sitting in front of him on baited breath, he was relishing this moment. He eyes her closely noticing how the blue makes her skin shimmer, how her eyes are so much darker green then he had remembered. Her skin smells of vanilla that reminds him of a milkshake he'd love to drink down.

To be honest he did enjoy the time they spent naked together. Every single time it was like he couldn't get enough, and he wanted it...he wanted her more and more. He wanted more sighs, more moans more of her. He wanted to know her inside out, know what made her tick and more things to make her scream.

Bonnie managed to leave him intoxicated with her every single time they crossed paths and now he was addicted to her. He craved her all the time, and with that craving came a thirst he had not been use to.

He takes a healthy bite of pizza and chews the right amount of times before grabbing a napkin. While Bonnie is going in for yet another bite. His girl, sure did love her food. Every time she took a bite, it was like she was tasting something different. Her jade eyes would just about glow and her skin, her buttery soft skin glistened with gold almost like she was the sun and her happiness shined bright.

Damn, he was skating close to the ice, sooner or later he'd be just like Elijah was with everyone damsel he met.

Shaking his head, he decides to finally speak. "As you put it, I don't know you," His mouth hitches up. A wicked thought runs through his mind. "Aside of when I'm inside of you." He says causing her to nearly drop her pizza. "But I do know you,"

"Do you, really?"

He wipes his hands. I've seen you fight for the ones you love, it was a passion that even I could admire." He pauses for a moment almost getting lost in thought. Not a single person had ever fought as hard as Bonnie for the people they loved, aside from himself. "I know you love, and that you love your friends– it's who you are and everything that defines you."

She raises her manicured eyebrows. "Love?"

He nods. "Love– passion it's the same with you it rules you. It is who you are."

She fiddles with her fingers a habit he notices occurs when she's nervous. "I guess I can see your point." she nibbles on her bottom lip. "I loved them, I loved my friends probably more than I should've. Probably even more, more than I loved myself." She says trailing off.

He wasn't surprised by her words. When he first met her she was fearless but fearless for others. Her self worth was low because she put everyone else above her.

Their eyes met instantly. "I still love them, but to a degree."

Intrigued he turns her way, surprised by her words. "What changed?"

Shifting in her seat, she reaches for a pillow and places it in her lap. "Originally, I would've said Damon." She says honestly, her head tilting to the side.

A low growl rumbles in his chest so low she cant hear it, but he can feel it. His wolf likes the Salvatore as much as his vampire which is obvious that he cant stand him.

"I thought he was the problem and really he was the problem in the beginning. But then as time went on, I realized the problem had always been Elena." She smiles then, though it's a sad one, one that means she's come to terms with the words that are about to be uttered. "Then everyone else followed suite."

He picks up his shot glass and pours the two of them a shot each. They share a moment of cheers before she tips the glass back and then wipes her mouth.

"What was the last straw?" He asks desperate to know what would make Bonnie Bennett turn her back on anyone.

She shifts bringing with her the scent that makes his canines elongate. His mouth nearly waters at the mere smell of her. It's this cozy moment when they are sharing with each other that makes him feel suddenly light.

A lop sided smile falls on her lips. Her eyes lighting up for just a moment. "Caroline, Matt and I had gone to California for a week." She says with a hair toss. "We had so much fun! It was just like old times, we laughed, and danced and danced all night long." She bites her lip. "For once we were free, free from all the b.s.. Free from Elena and the Salvatores and all the drama. It was what we needed...it was what we deserved."

He studies her face and her movements. How she went from wide green eyes that were filled with happiness, to jade eyes that are much darker. "Something happen?"

Suddenly she gets lets out a sad maddening chuckling. "Everything was fine. When we came home everything was fine, but the next morning all hell broke lose."

He rolls his eyes. "Let me guess Elena?"

She shoots him a look of suddenly disdain for her dear friend. "She and Damon get into this fight that has nothing to do with anyone of us at all." She says a frown on her pretty lips. "Anyway, she goes to this wishing well, flicks and coin in it and somehow falls into the well."

He can't help it. He leans forward. Setting his last pizza slice down. Surly he has heard wrong. Elena Gilbert could not be that much of a damsel. No way, could vampire Elena be more worthless than human Elena.

"You gotta be shitting me!" He says a snort escaping his nose. "I thought that only happen on television or movies?"

She picks up her glass of wine that had been refilled while he was trying to wrap his mind around how pitiful Elena was. "That's what I said, but it was all true." She says draining her glass.

"Let me guess..."

"Stefan." She says with a fire that makes him shift himself. Damn she was hot.

Chuckling she speaks. "He woke me up saying Elena needed me and I legit looked at the clock and then at him and then proceeded to tell him in very clearly, that Elena was a vampire now she could handle herself."

He chuckles. "I bet that rubbed him the wrong way?"

She grinned and he couldn't help but grin back. "Words were said and the next thing I know, is that home boy is on fire everywhere."

"You lit up Stefan?"

Smile. "It took his punk ass three weeks to heal. Every time he thought negatively about me, the fire would light up all over again."

He finds himself getting closer to her. She had never looked more radiant to him then in this moment.

Lucy

At first when Elijah and his fine ass had suggested that he would spend the day with her, playing the role of handsome vampire bodyguard, she thought he had been joking. By the end of the conversation she found out that he was indeed being truthful and now that the day was here all she could say was damn. Damn, he was hot, damn he was even hotter when he was grilling her for information and hot damn he smelt good.

Now though, the day she had planned was basically a normal work day. She had to run a few errands pick up and few supplies, run to the florist to pick up a couple of flowers, to mix spells and potions. She had to make more candles and restock the store later that night.

"What's on the agenda for the day?"Elijah asks suddenly. "Judging by the outfit you're wearing I'm not quite sure what we'll be doing."

She lets out a chuckle. "Why did you think I was gonna take you to some underground witch club where you'd be the only vampire and I'd be your spotlight."

He leans close. "Before you put it on me of course." He says consipringly.

"Of course." I say giving him my signature Lucy Bennett wink. "In reality I've got stock to catalog, candles to make and lots of witchy potions to create."

Elijah lets his eyes run over me. "Dressed like that?"

I grin. "It never fails to garner attention and revenue."

He settles back in his seat. "You're a minx, using your god given beauty to spellbound all the men and women to come into your shop."

"I'm also damn good at what I do, wether that be casting spells, using magic or using my beauty. Making candles or mixing scents. I'm irresistible, you'll see."

Elijah is about to say something, I can see it all over his face when suddenly my stomach decides to growl loud. I'm so embarrassed but you never let a man see you sweat, unless he's the reason your sweating.

"Perhaps we can feed you first, and then work on the shop." Elijah says causing me to whip my head over to look at him.

"Are you sure, I mean you probably have original vampire business to take care of."

He tilts his head to the side. "I'd rather take this opportunity to spend time with you."

My heart hammers nearly out of my chest at his words. That's what Elijah Mikaeslon does to all in his presence.

"I'd like that." I say finally.

"Good, it's a wonderful day to walk through the park, or in you case eat at the park."

I could go for a hot dog, and Sams hot dog cart is the best in the city."

He smiles then. "It's settled."

BB-KM

Bonnie

"I loved my friends." I said my words being true. "I would've done anything for them– I did."

My tongue ran over my teeth at the mere thought of all of the things I had gone through with them, with the people I had called friends...family for so long.

"Hey." Klaus says lifting my chin up. "They never deserved you."

Despite the boundaries I tried to set, I leaned into his touch. "They were my family and I thought if I bent all backwards for them they stay." My words trail off as emotion gets the best of me.

"Abandonment issues?" He asks knowingly.

"To the third degree." I say with a shattered smile.

"What of your family?"

I shrug because really all I had left was Lucy. But my extended family included Damon and Caroline. "It's just me and Lucy now, but before my grams took care of me."

Klaus reaches for my hand and I offer him a small smile. "Your brother, is the reason my mother was turned." I say my voice hardening. I hated Elijah, that would never change. It wouldn't change if Lucy liked him and certainly hadn't changed because I was doing his brother.

I bite my lip. "But even before then, she was missing in action." Scoff. "To save Elena of course." I pull my hand away and suddenly stand needing some space. It was bad enough that I had admitted all these things to myself, but to just say them out- loud was another story.

I can feel his eyes on me watching me, feeling me out. "Dad tried in his own way. But he loved her...loved mom more than he could ever love me." I say not bothering to look of at Klaus. "Her leaving, it ruined him and I was a reminder of the woman who left him."

Seconds later Klaus is descending on me. His eyes are stormy his face is red and he looks smoking mad. "You're father should've loved you because you were his daughter, his flesh and blood. The same as your mother!" He says lividly. His finger run along my jaw. "You were theirs to protect and theirs to love, that's what parents are suppose to do." He swore.

Stepping back he tries to regain his emotions that are already written all over his face and body. On a personal having his own issues with his parents, the thought of Bonnie feeling unloved and rejected spoke to him. Her pain was calling out to him, it spoke to the pain he had buried deep down for centuries.

Shaking his head and the thoughts that were bombarding his mind, he takes two swift steps forward. His large hand cupping her face. "You, are beautiful and brave. Worth far more than those you've encountered in your short life." He explains.

She sniffles but manages a twitch of the lips. Small fingers tug at his shirt. "Does that include you?"

He finds himself leaning down so that his face is closer to hers. "Maybe, or maybe I've just found someone on my level."

When she hugs him he hugs her back. To think, had she not come to his city with that imbecile of a vampire, things definitely would've been different. They would've never had that first night and many nights he planned on having going forward.

When she pulls her head back just a little he feels himself hold on just a bit tighter. He likes her, his wolf likes her, his vampire too, he just... likes her.

"You were once one of those people would've thrown me away, what changed?" She asks her voice rumbling against his chest.

His lips curve into a smile. "I saw you naked."

She pulls back to look at him again. "Pervert."

He leans down his lips brushing against her forehead. "Only for you."

Elsewhere

She had always loved the outdoors. As a child she runaround barefoot loving the feel of the earth underneath her toes. As she got older her bond with nature grew as she was an earth witch. Her magic resinated most with the earth. It fit her perfectly. It was the reason she got so much power from the sun, and even the rain. Why the bayou called to her while she gathered her strength even when she loved the city with all her heart.

The bayou was a special place filled with lots of things a girl like her and her kind of magic enjoyed. However, her partner was starting to stink of the place with his stench and she needed a much needed break from him.

Don't get her wrong, he had some redeeming qualities they were just far a few in between. She understood he was a vampire, and vampires tended to believe just because they would look ageless, pristine and good forever that infantile antics were just the norm and she had to disagree. Her partner, thought his good looks, at times brash attitude and the mere fact that he was fearless was what would get him what he wanted. In the end, she knew better.

After all she was much older, a heck of a lot wiser and spent some time with not only the most powerful family in supernatural history. She had seen people like him come and go, the only reason why she even kept him around was because he had heart. His antics may grate on her nerves, he may talk more than she had liked, but he had heart and if a shattered heart could beat when it came to revenge.

She needed a change of scenery and the park was the perfect place. With a wave of the hand she was now standing in front of the park. It was neutral ground for all things supernatural. It would do her good to be around others. It was take her mind off of all the crap that kept swimming in her mind.

The park had been the perfect place to escape. Though her partner was doing whatever it is that he did, she needed time to reacquaint herself with the city she had loved so much. Once upon a time this had been her home, she had a man that loved her and she love him, and then it was taken away from her... from them.

If she closed her eyes she could still see how it use to be. She had dreamed of the day when they could be one again.

As she continues through the park her ears perk up a the sound of laughter that sounds all too familiar. With laser brown eyes, she zeros in on the spectacle in front of her.

It seems every time you'd turn around a Bennett witch was trailed by a Mikaelson. Stupid idiots. They'd never learn till someone taught them a lesson.

Flexing her fingers she looks up at the sky that has now opened up ruining the pretty picture Lucy Bennett paints in her tacky outfit while Elijah clueless as ever when it comes to women and anything Klaus is grinning over at her.

She walks all the while spinning a spell that darkens the sky with her each step. Lucy goes back to the cart in hopes of getting another hot dog while Elijah sits waiting patiently. Its then when she walks closer.

The rain drops start to fall one by one.

She staring so hard, it should make him uncomfortable, but Elijah is nothing but a gentleman.

"Excuse me, are you alright." He says walking over to stand in front of her, brown eyes concerned. He was always so concerned

She holds her hands up to stop him from moving forward. He smells like winter and everything that comes with it. "I'm fine, I just realized that every time you turn around a Mikaelson is hanging onto a witch." She says walking closer. "The taste of the very first witch must run deep for you." She says tauntingly.

His reflex is quick as he grabs for her neck she only licks her lips. She can deal with anger, she has enough for everyone, but to see his anger is fascinating.

"Don't you ever presume to know me." Elijah grits out.

"Do you even remember her name." She taunts causing rain to fall harder from the sky. She looks at a nearby tree and watches as it collapses with her anger. Lighting strikes causing Elijah to look back at Lucy who he can barley see through the rain.

He calls out for Lucy but it's a fruitless effort. She's controlling the show now.

He spins around finally facing her again and she smiles. She gets up real close to him. "Till we meet again Elijah."

She leans forward and places a sloppy kiss on his lips

And with that she waves her hand and disappears. Soon enough everyone would remember her name.

Klaus

After a moment or two she dislodged herself from his person, taking away her warmth with her. Eyes wide, she looked like a deer caught in headlights. She had shared so much with him and the reality of that was beginning to set in.

"I will be right back." She says reaching for his hand to squeeze before she disappears into what he presumes is her bedroom.

Not many people had willing bared their souls to him, especially knowing who he was and what he was capable of. Had this been years ago, he'd want to use all of this for his benefit. Typically he'd use all of this up till the person who shared themselves with him was nothing but a shell of the person they use to be. But that wasn't the case, not with Bonnie.

The fearless woman who had disappeared to collect herself, had done something not many had accomplished, she made him care. She made him care about her well-being, her thoughts and everything about her and her life.

He wanted more and that was not the first time hee realized it.

Originally the very moment she had let him inside– into her home, he felt a feeling of satisfaction. One's home was ones sanctuary. It was the one place that many felt most comfortable, and for Bonnie not only agree to this date if you will, was a huge step.

He had told himself, that it was just physical, that she was a good lay and he needed something to the self deprecating thoughts at bay, the anger, and hunger and thirst for more power. But every single time he was in her presence he liked her more and more.

Bonnie was everything a man like him needed. She was a firecracker, held her own and wasn't afraid to walk the walk. She was also beyond beautiful. She'd always been a sight, though in her po dunk town everyone went first for Elena, then saw Caroline. Bonnie though was the one, she was the realist of them all.

Now though she was letting him in deeper by showing her fragileness. While her beauty was a sight to see, the fragility of her as just as beautiful. She wore her heart on her sleeve even when she tried to hide it. She loved fierceness and wanted to be loved as hard and as much as she loved others.

When she appears out of the bedroom, a sense of calm is now on her features.

"Shall we continue with dessert, I made chocolate moose."

He nods, as she opens the refrigerator and brings about two glasses filled with mousse, chocolate and vanilla swirl with berries on top. Once seated, he watches as she takes a spoon to her dessert and takes a delicate spoonful.

"You never told me what you know about me, aside from my obvious reign of terror."

She looks up then, big green wide eyes. "I know you, I know your fighting style– you fight dirty. I know the type of terror you like to inflict on others." She says pausing. "But none of that really matters, because at the end of the day to really know you, is to know that you love your daughter more than anyone I had ever seen." she says placing her spoon down. "That love you have for your little girl, it defines you more than anything in your past because it's who you are now."

Touched, that what he felt. He thought she'd bring up the stories of Mikael, of how he kept his siblings stored away for hundreds of years. But, he should've known better, because Bonnie was not like that. She was so much better, and she was his. He'd make sure she knew it.

He takes her glass out of her hand sitting it on the nearby table with his own abandoned chocolate. He reaches for her, his hand splayed across the side of her face. She leans into his touch, her plump kissing his palm. Nobody had ever seen him more than a monster, but Bonnie sees more.

He brings her to his lap, while they stare at each other. Her breath mingles with his before lips touch, slowly brushing against each other before hunger takes over sealing the fate of them and the foolish hearts that are now beating together.
