A.N. Hey all! I'm back with another chapter! This chapter continues on with our Klonnie adventure in date night. I hope you all enjoy it. As always thank you for reading and replying.
"I still regret nothing."
Chapter 25: Creature of habit
He had been having a fairly good night, Bonnie had been in his arms looking beautiful as ever. They had enjoyed a lovely meal where he got the pleasure of watching her savor every bit of food she tasted. It was truly a joy to watch. They had even spent some time with his good friend Gloria. The same Gloria he had promised that he would never fight in her club. Now though, someone had tested his patience by touching his woman and as a creature of habit and a man, he was about to show that individual why you don't mess with Klaus Mikaelson.
He had yanked the warlock away from Bonnie in a blind rage. How they got from the powder room area to outside without him sinking his fangs into the wannabe tough guy was truly a miracle. Now though, that they were outside he was ready for a fight. It had been an awful long time since he had ripped limps apart, it might be fun to do tonight.
"You see mate," He says through gritted teeth. "I was enjoying lovely night with my girl, and I was planning on continuing that fun much later, however you wanted to prove yourself to be a tough guy at the expense of my girl and that doesn't sit well with me." He says yanking the man up by the collar really quick.
"I did nothing wrong." Brady growls, whilst struggling.
"You did everything wrong." He snaps back. "Now I'm trying to decide if I want to skin you alive with my nails or drain you in front of all your peers." He smiles again. "Maybe I'll do both."

Have you ever had a point in time where you could just feel the sudden change in the world as you knew it? For me two things stand out. The first had been when I met Stefan Salvatore, my gut was telling me that something was off about him, that despite his pleasing appearance something underneath was dark and that darkness was going to infect us all like a disease. The second time, had been when I realized that I was filled with magic and with that magic came many obstacles, mainly brought on by Elena and her fleet of men, and everything supernatural.
Now as I stood blinking rather rapidly at the empty space before me, I knew that this moment was going to change things. For the most part, Klaus and I had been having a wonderful time together, he had even been on his best behavior. However, Klaus didn't take shit from anyone, and I had a feeling the suddenly missing person I was once speaking to, who was itching for a fight– found one, with a hybrid that had been on his best behavior longer then I ever expected.
"You have to stop him!" Cries someone from the other side of me. Looking over I notice Hannah our waitress from earlier.
Turning my neck, I look at the girl. "Stop who?" If she thought I could stop Klaus after he had done everything to be on his best behavior only for someone who apparently forgot how dangerous he truly was to dance on the speck of patience Klaus possessed, she was very wrong.
Hannah breathes out hard. "Klaus, he'll listen to you." Hannah says matter of fact. "That's why witches and warlocks are able to practice magic in the quarter. It's because of you– because of your influence on him."
I tilt my head and cross my arms in front of my chest. "If you think I'm some kind of Klaus whisperer, you'd be wrong."
Hannah shakes her head. "I watched you and him tonight. I saw the way you smile at each other, the small touches. He placed his hand on your lower back and rubbed small circles with his thumb while you were waiting for your seat. He also reached for your hand to hold. When you guys were in the booth watching the show, he put his arm around you."
I blink her way. "Ok."
Hannah stands straighter. "We've all seen the chemistry between you and Klaus. Not everyone is going to be happy to see that not one but two people that belong to the strongest witch line linking up with a Mikaelson family but that's your business." She says quickly.
"Maybe you should've passed that knowledge to your friend, my life, my business." I say with an easy shrug. "And if you're on your magic knowledge you know that the Mikaelson family are witchborn." I remind hotly. "Maybe you could pass that knowledge down to your friend."
She then reaches out and touches my arm, which I evade easily. "The next person who puts hands on me, is going to lose a limb, so you might want to act accordingly."
It's only when the tears start to fall do I feel a bit of sympathy for her. Hannah, didn't start this, Brady did.
"You have to help him! Brady didn't mean anything by it." Hannah says looking down at her shaking hands. "Whatever he said to you, it wasn't really you he was mad at– he just hates the fact that the Mikaelson family rule this place as if it's a real monarchy."
I look down at her hand and Hannah swiftly removes it from my arm. "Your friend waited for me outside the powder room to pick a fight with me for something I have nothing to do with. If he has a problem with Klaus, that's between the two of them, not me."
Hannah nods her head, like this isn't the first time she's had to do this on the behalf of Brady."I get it, believe me I do, but, he's my family. We're all we have left. " Hannah pleads. "We all know the horrors the Mikaelson family is capable of, please don't let Brady become part of that horror."
I don't say anything as I move past her. All I wanted to do, was go out, have a good time and get laid– how things ended like this I have no idea.

"You picked the wrong night to test my patience and the wrong girl to speak to tonight."
"It was just a brief conversation between a warlock and a witch." Brady grunts. "I didn't do shit to you." The warlock says struggling to get out of his grasp.
He tilts his head back showing off his fangs. "Ah, but you did personally and purposely seek out my lady." He says as his short nail elongate, and the blue of his eyes are overshadowed by amber. "I don't take to well to that mate."
Brady only further struggles his brown eyes wide as he watches the monster in front of him. "So what this is over some bitch?" Brady slurs out his eyes starting to droop and he starts to lose control of his bodily functions. The wetness that spreads across his legs gives his true feelings away, as the warlock is terrified.
Squeezing harder he watches as the warlock nearly goes unconscious. "You come after my lady, that means you come after me and if you come after me," He smiles fangs, veins on full display, amber eyes eclipsing blue. "You'll never get another chance to live a peaceful life."
"I'm not afraid of you." Brady slurs.
He chuckles. "Is that why you're wetting yourself?" He says with a roar of laughter. "Just so you're aware, I can drag this out for very long time." He says shaking the shit out of Brady. He wants him awake.
"Do it," Brady says his head sagging. "Your whore will still burn for her sins, just as you and your whole family will."
He smiles. "Well then, let the fun begin."
The sound of screams echoes all the way to the club.
"I plan to break every bone in your body, till you apologize to Bonnie."

The sound of screaming is what urged me to move faster. When I made it outside the club people are gathered around like this is the greatest show in life. Klaus holds Brady high, while the warlock looks ghostly pale, not to mention blood is all over his mouth. From where I stand Brady has a nasty scrape that is so deep that it gives me the chills to look at, he's also seems to have a broken arm, a black eye and probably internal bleeding. It doesn't look like the warlock has much time and I can't just sit back and do nothing.
"Klaus." I call, causing him to look up my way. I had seen this side of Klaus before, I'd even dueled with this quick tempered hybrid, and I knew what damage he could and would inflict on anyone he saw as an enemy. In a weird way, we were similar that way, my patience was just much better than his.
"You- you promised me a fun night." I remind, keeping my voice light.
"And we were having a fun night, till Brady stepped in." He says digging his fingers into the warlocks skin.
I move closer to him. "His opinion of me doesn't matter to me. I know who I am, and I know what I'm doing." I say now standing in front of him. "We can't let him ruin our night out– let it go," I say my pinky touching his. "Let him go."

Klaus
"You really want me to let him go?" He asks again. He's not at all surprised by the fact that Bonnie chooses peace instead of war, however he can see a twinkle in her eye that tells him she enjoys just a bit of fight. The Bonnie of yesteryear would've preached on her soapbox with her very tiny violin about humanity and the balance of things. This Bonnie though, understands that sometimes you have to back hand a motherphucker when needed. She understands that the supernatural world is not as black and white and she once thought, but that it had different shades.
She shrugs. "You promised me a fun time and as much as I'm sure that jerk deserves to be taught a lesson, the lesson should be by me not you." She says her pretty mouth moving to form the words that are music to his ears.
He drops Brady suddenly a slow smile forming on his lips as she walks through the crowd, her burnt orange dress clinging to sensual curves, her heart shape lips twisted in a smirk. He lets out a whistle as she approaches them, and even Brady who is leaking blood at this point from his deep scratch across the chest is looking at Bonnie like she is the goddess he's just realized she is.
"What do you have to say for yourself Brady." Bonnie asks getting close but not too close. "We were all enjoying our night out when you decided to bring the mood down." She asks looking briefly back at the group who had gathered.
The waitress from earlier breaks through the mass of people. "He didn't really mean anything by it." Hannah says. "But you all know Brady is a good guy, he's had way too many drinks and when he drinks he mouths off– but he means no harm."
Bonnie then turns to look at the waitress then back at Brady. "If that's so, then Brady wouldn't mind telling everyone he was sorry for ruining their night and causing this mess."
Brady only grunts.
"Say it Brady!" Hannah nearly screams.
"I should've never approached you."Brady grunts out. "I'm sorry for ruining your night, and the night of everyone– even if I think the two of you together is a disgusting display, it's none of my business."
Within a blink of an eye he's at eye level with Brady. " I don't think I like your tone."
"Well, " Brady coughs, his eyes closing.
Bonnie walks closer causing his eyes to follow her every moment. "Enough, lets just end this now."
A sound of mummers is heard as everyone around is shocked by her words. He on the other hand is dancing on the inside.
"Finally." He says holding Brady up.
It's been a while since he's drained a witch, it's a pity Brady has made him do such a thing in the parking lot of Glorias but, he'll make it up to his friend in due time.
His fangs elongate as Bonnie places her dainty hand on his shoulder. "Heal him Klaus, and then we can continue our night."
He drops Brady again and looks at her. "You are well aware he's called you my whore."
She crosses her arms underneath her chest causing his eyes to drift downwards. It's only a second later that he realizes that- that was all done on purpose. "Yeah and I'm quite sure he's a flaccid drunk that hasn't had the touch of anyone but himself in a long time." She mouths off before blowing out air.
"Bonnie–"
She shakes her head. "Klaus you can't eat him, he has a family." She says lowly. "Besides, for the foreseeable future I want no drama, so that includes wrapping this whole thing up and letting everyone go back to their own lives."
He has half the nerve to still drain Brady, but then thinks of a better idea. Chuckling to himself he hoist Brady up and gives the warlock his blood healing him at once.
Once the warlock is back to his full health he glares at the two of them. "They were right about the two of you... the witch and hybrid..." Brady doesn't get a chance to finish his words as Bonnie had already done a spell silencing him.
"Has anyone ever told you- if you don't have anything nice to say- don't say anything at all?" She asks her nose wrinkling up with disgust.
"She's right." He says approaching Brady. "Now, be a good little boy and run along. Oh and remember you might want to be extra careful, because now that you've got my blood running in your veins one little slip up and you'll become a vampire." Pushing Brady away he reaches for Bonnie, who reaches back for him.
"Come now love, lets leave Brady to the daunting task of trying to stay alive with my blood in his system."
Bonnie looks away for a moment before looking back at him.
Once her hands is in his, he knows everything else around them melts away.

He walks her back to the car his blood swarming with hot lava because of the pure fury that bubbled inside of him. He was trying to push it all down but the only thing that keep popping up in his head was the gall of Brady. People must've thought because he had Hope that now he was soft, they thought because he had allowed the witches to practice in the quarter freely that meant he was whipped by the cream of a certain green eyed witch. They thought because he was currently doing a witch that he'd just let things slide. They were all wrong.
They stand at the car with Bonnie pressed against it, while he's looking down at her tiny frame and expressive green eyes. He wants to lean into her, to get caught up in her, but he has business to take care of.
"Your eyes, they've completely changed." She says her hand cupping his face.
"Does it bother you?" He asks staring into her eyes. He wants to know– what she sees when she looks at him.
She presses herself close and he can't help but wrap an arm around her waist. "Actually I'm just a tiny bit turned on." She smiles and he too cracks a grin.
However, he still has work to do.
"Seriously though, I think this is possibly one of the longest times I've seen your eyes like this." She says her tiny hands tugging on the hair at the nape of his neck.
"What better way to show everyone that I am a the big bad hybrid, remind them I'm the monster of each and every nightmare." He smirks. "I need a minute to talk to Gloria and then we'll see where the road takes us." He says opening the car door and gesturing for her to climb in.
"I should probably say goodbye to Gloria as well, it's rude just to disappear."
"She'll be fine, I'll send your love." He says closing the door and heading for the club.
"Klaus." It's the way she calls his name that tells him she knows what he's up to. "He has someone that loves him, his family." Pause. "Don't take him away from her."
He says nothing as he walks away. Brady will still have his family, family is forever or so it will be.
As he walks his way back to the club he finds Brady smoking a cigarette. The warlock catches eyes with him and then takes off on foot. He follows walking a human speed, which was still faster then what Brady could ever do.
"Stay away from me!" The warlock hollers. "I did what you wanted, I apologized, now leave me be." Brady calls out looking behind him.
It's seconds later that the warlock turns around to find him, his full hybrid visage on view with all of it's glory. "The same way you let Bonnie be." He smiles. "Your very first mistake was ever thinking you were good enough to speak to her, the second had been putting your filthy hands on her and the third was forgetting who I am." He grins again fangs showing as he gets a hold of Brady. "Let this be a lesson to all who hear me, you forgot about me, now I'll remind you who I am."
Sensing that the end was near Brady puffed out his chest. "She'll see the real you, sooner or later. In fact I'm quite sure she's coming to her senses. Did you see the way she hesitated going with you before finally letting you usher her away. She'll see what everyone else see's a monster."
Mere seconds later a snap was heard while Brady was lying on the floor. He of course would wake up as a vampire. And like so many before him he'd choose to cease to exist, only this time he would not have a choice. He would be a vampire who loathed himself more than Stefan Salvatore on a normal day.
Pulling out his phone he dialed a familiar number. "Brady Bloomfield, I need a spell to keep him a vampire put on him. You've got exactly three minutes to get it done."
"How long will his punishment be for? The voice asked.
"One century." He says hanging up the phone. Stuffing it back into his pocket he kicks the warlock for good measure. His on call warlock appears out of the shadows. "Get him out of my sight and when he awakens the next morning give him the talk."
Once the warlock disappears he heads back to Bonnie.

While Klaus was "talking to Gloria" I had spent my time texting with Caroline which had been a delight. I loved my girl but I didn't miss M.F. nearly as much as I thought I would. In fact it feels so good to just be away from all the mess that is stuck in that vortex of a town. I think the one good thing was that even through all the mess Caroline and Tyler had found themselves back together and the topic at hand had been her upcoming wedding, because she couldn't wait to marry Tyler.
I hold the phone up so Caroline can get a good view of me.
"Bitch, you're looking super hot tonight!"
I grin into the phone. "I'm sort of on a date."
"Send my a pic of you and your new man, because we all know he is your new man."
I smile down. "We're not serious like that Care." I admit nibbling on my lip. "It's cool. We'll ride this wave till it crashes."
Caroline adjust her phone so that it's all close up and personal. "What if it doesn't crash, what if this guy is the one?" Caroline then smiles.
"You know I don't believe in fairytales." I say trying to wave her off but Caroline is having none of it.
"Maybe you should start." She says showing off her ring. "If Tyler and I can get through all the crap that was thrown our way, i.e. me dating his bestfriend before hand, that Stefan dalliance that lasted all of three weeks, and lets not forget about Klaus."
At the mere mention of his name I try not to make any sudden moves.
"All I'm saying is, keep and open mind and while you're at it, put it on him so good he'll never want to let you go."
Looking out the window I spot Klaus and mumble an abrupt love you and bye to Caroline, but not before she all but orders me to send her a picture of something that shows her I'm not low key dating Damon.
My smile slides off my face when Klaus approaches, he's got a dark look on his face. Though he's a little bit better he's still very much keyed up. I can see it all over him.
"Did you find Gloria, or did you go straight for Brady?" I ask to which Klaus only presses a kiss to my cheek as he starts the engine.
Once alone with Klaus I take in all the little warning signs that Klaus is not over what occurred with Brady. It seems the warlock had ticked him off massively. For starters, he's gripping the steering wheel so damn hard I wouldn't be surprised if he broke it. His lips are super tight not the normal plush lips that made me blush. And to top it off, the heat he was radiating was so hot, it nearly seared my skin.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask after he flies down the street.
"Talk about what?" Klaus asks stiffly.
I want to toss my head back and let out a sigh but I catch myself, as Klaus is looking at me. "Whatever is bothering that has you driving like a mad man." I finally say. "Klaus," I say touching his arm. "Please slow down, not everyone is a vampire and if you any faster I may throw up in your car."
My words appear to sink in because he slows down enough for my stomach to catch up with me.
"Seriously,"I say looking over at him. "Talk to me, tell me what's wrong?"
He licks his lips. "Why did you hesitate?" he asks turning blue eyes on me.
"What?" I asked blinking rapidly.
"When I reached for you- you hesitated. It may have been for half a second but it was enough." he says all the while looking elsewhere. "Are you ashamed to be seen with me, the big bad of everyones nightmares?"
I could tell by his tone that I needed to tread carefully. "I'm not ashamed of you. Yeah you've done shitty things but at least you own it." Pause. "If I hesitated it was because I was watching Brady to make sure he didn't make things worst for himself." Pause. "You never answered my question, did you find Gloria or Brady."
He looks over at me, a wicked look in his eyes. "Nobody challenges me without facing the consequences."
I bite my lip. "And what were the consequences?" I ask slowly.
"Do you really want to know, because once I say it out loud– it can't be taken back."
I send him a scathing look.
"One century as a vampire. Once his century is up, he'll turn into a warlock and then he'll be dust." He says quite proud of himself. "I spared him, even let him live out his lifetime with his family." Klaus says proud. "So dear Hannah still has her brother."
I look down at my hands. On the bright side Brady was still alive, well sort of. "Klaus we could've just left it alone."
"No, you could. I couldn't!" He says hotly. "I did all that, all of it for you that was why I had snatched him outside." He says passionately.
I don't even know what to say, so I say nothing.
Klaus lifts my chin. "I know you are not use to this, people defending you- but if you're with me, nobody gets to speak ill to you without consequences." He says letting go of my chin.
By this time Klaus had paid more attention to me than to the road and my nerves could not possibly take it anymore– so I stopped the car myself.
I turn to get a good look at him. His eyes which had been amber for quite some time now was finally beginning to show hints of the denim blue that was quickly becoming my favorite color. His fangs had gone back into his gums, giving way to perfect white teeth and his lips were in that Klaus tight lip look.
"You really mean that?" I ask my voice shaking. I was not all used to anything on this kind of level when it came to devotion.
Klaus reaches out and touches my bottom lip. "Every word." He says in that Klaus was that always seems like a declaration of some sort. "If your fuck with me, and not because you're fucking me," He says pausing to send me a heated look. "I will not allow anyone to not only disrespect you but to come after you." Klaus says passionately. "Because if they come after you, then that means they've come after me." He grins. "And I don't play that.
I had never heard anyone talk so passionately about being on my team. Linking our fingers together I look up at him. "Thank you for defending me." I say feeling my face burn with the intense way he's looking at me. Klaus has a way of looking at me like he can see through all my walls. "I'm not use to this." I say looking down at our linked fingers. "I'm not use to being on the short list, I let out a chuckle. " Or the long list of people who other want to protect, let alone defend." I pause.
"Well, " he says sending me dimpled look. "You and all your sass have landed yourself on my very short list."
We share a look. "If I offended you, that wasn't my intention, I was just trying to get a good read on Brady."
"He can't hurt me."
"No but he could try."
"Klaus rubs his hands together. "Let them all try, but in the end I always win, except when it comes to you." He says leering my way.
"I'm a special breed." I say jokingly as to which blue eyes drop to my lips.
The next thing I know is that Klaus is dragging me close as his lips feverishly ascend on my own. My hands thread through his hair as he all but yanks me out of my seat and plants me on his lap. Pulling back our eyes meet.
"What is it?"
I play with the lapels on his shirt. "First I get that your Klaus Mikaelson and that you live by your own rules," I say to which he only dimples before placing a kiss to the side of my neck. "But violence is not always the answer."
He pulls away to look at me. "But it does get the point across doesn't it?"
I shake my head but bite back my own grin. "How about we make a deal that we use violence only when deemed necessary. I wont use magic on anyone unless it's necessary and you wont use your abilities on anyone unless it's necessary."
He moves his face closer to mine. "Or it's needed to get a point across."
I roll my eyes but agree.
"Now," I say sliding off of him. "I'd like to thank you for having my back, properly of course." I say looking down between the two of us.
"Are you- are you serious?" He asks a look of surprise crossing his features.
"Very." I say with a nod. "Now push the seat back, and enjoy."
Klaus wordlessly does what I ask as my hand reaches for hiss belt my fingers undoing it slowly. The zipper is the next to go and when my hand makes contact with his heated flesh I don't know who moans first.
I could never get tired of the sight as he quickly springs to action and I get to work. First I use my hands only followed by my mouth and then a combination of the two.
Our eyes catch briefly as he threads his hands very carefully through my hair. Nothing is more beautiful as seeing someone as powerful as Klaus come undone all because of me. It truly was a sight to see.
Well, that was– until someone knocked on the window.
A.N. 2: Klonnie can't catch a break where date night is considered, well at least for now. The next chapter should be up by Saturday where date night continues and takes a turn for the better.
