Chapter 2: Whiterose

Summary: After finally reuniting in Mistral, Weiss and Ruby have a little heart-to-heart that turns into something much more.

At their house in Mistral, Ruby was in her room, reading her comics. It had been a long, but pleasant day. Much to her surprise, Yang and Weiss had returned. More importantly, she was able to rekindle her bond with her older sister. Everyone was happy at the joyous reunion, even after they talked about important things with Ozpin and filled Yang and Weiss in. After all the excitement, the group got tired and most decided to head in for the night. Ruby wasn't that tired yet, so she just spent her time reading her comics. However, her reading gets interrupted when there's a knock at her door. Ruby pus her comic down and walks over, opening the door to reveal Weiss outside.

"Weiss? What's up?" Ruby greets her.

"Hi, Ruby. Um, can we talk?" Weiss seems a little nervous.

"Um, sure, come in," Ruby grants her entry, and the former heiress walks inside, taking a seat on her bed. "So, what did you want to talk about?" Ruby sits next to her.

Weiss takes a deep breath, "I wanted... to apologize,"

Ruby looks confused, "Huh? Apologize for what?"

"For... everything. On the day we first met, I treated you like garbage. Instead of being mature like I should've been since I was older, I acted like a child too. I was stuck up, pompous, and a spoiled brat," Weiss confesses.

"Well, you were a bit much. But, I admit I wasn't a model student back then either," Ruby notes.

"That's not the point!" Weiss' sudden outburst shuts her up. "At the Fall of Beacon, I saw that light on Beacon Tower. I saw the VVyvern get turned to stone, and then I saw your uncle bringing you down, unconscious. You needed help, but... then my father came for me. You, Yang, and Blake... you were more like family to me than my brother or even my own father. But, when it came down to it, I chose that bastard over my team, over you,"

"Weiss, a lot happened, but that wasn't your fault. I never blamed you for that," Ruby tries to soothe her.

"Well I do! All that time I spent in Atlas, all I could think about was you, and our team. Spending time with the upper-class in Atlas, I was disgusted by all of it. Even more so when I remembered that I used to be just like that. Every day, I'd think about our team, and every night, when I wasn't having nightmares, I dreamed about you. Wondering if you were okay, if you were mad at me for leaving... You have NO idea how happy I was to see you again, and everyone else," Weiss tries to hold back the tears.

"Weiss, I'm happy you're back too," Ruby says.

"And yet, then I learn about what you've been doing since Beacon Fell. And you know what scared me the most? It wasn't the relics, the Maidens, or even Salem. It was the fact that Salem sent people after you. The person responsible for the Fall of Beacon, and for who knows how many other atrocities before that... she's after you. You almost got killed, or worse... and I wasn't there to help you. I made you a promise that I would be the best teammate you ever had... and I broke that promise. When you needed your teammate, your partner, by your side, I wasn't there. And I will regret that for the rest of my life," the tears finally start falling.

"Oh, Weiss," Ruby pulls her in for a hug. "I never blamed you. None of this was your fault. Every day. Every day, I thought of you, and Blake, and Yang. How I wanted to get our team back together SO much. Seeing you again after so long made me so happy. We all had our own challenges to face. We all had our own issues to sort out. But, we're together again. We're alive. That's all that matters," she pulls back and gently wipes away Weiss' tears with her thumb, holding her cheeks in her hands. "I'm happy because you're here, Weiss. That's all that matters."

Weiss doesn't know what to say. Here is a girl before her who never thought ill of her. After everything she did and didn't do, Ruby still wanted her by her side. Weiss once wondered why Professor Ozpin chose Ruby to be their team leader. She had a good idea back then, but now she knows for certain. It's because Ruby has the biggest heart out of anyone on Remnant.

"Ruby..." without realizing it, Weiss slowly leans closer to Ruby's face.

Ruby silently gasps, but doesn't back away. Their faces are mere centimeters apart, their faces blushing, until Weiss finally builds the courage to plant her lips on Ruby's. The kiss is chaste and soft, but slowly the two girls close their eyes. When they separate, the two stare at each other for a long moment.

"Weiss..." Ruby mutters.

Weiss leans in again, giving Ruby a bigger kiss this time. Ruby ends up falling back onto the bed, with Weiss on top of her. Weiss makes sure to show all her emotion through this kiss. Ruby wraps her arms around Weiss's waist, pulling her in closer. A few moments later, they separate.

Weiss holds Ruby's face in her hands, "Ruby... I do not deserve you. I do not deserve your trust, your friendship... or your affection. But, this I swear. I, Weiss Schnee, will do everything in my power to atone for the sins I committed against you. I will always stay by your side, now and forever more. And I swear, you will never face danger alone ever again,"

Ruby blushes at Weiss' vow. It was almost like a wedding vow or something similar. Ruby reaches up to cup Weiss' cheeks.

"There's really no need to go that far, Weiss. But, if I can be a little selfish for once... please, always stay by my side. Please, let us stay together. Now and always," Ruby says.

"Now and always," Weiss repeats.

The two renew their lip locking, filling it with far more passion than before. Weiss' hands drift down from Ruby's face, sliding across her sides. At one point, the two sit up with Weiss in Ruby's lap. Weiss reaches back to slowly aid Ruby in removing her hood. She remembers how important it is to her. After removing the hood, Weiss gently places it on the desk next to the bed. They kiss each other again, but this time, Ruby pushes Weiss down onto the bed. One of her hands drifts down to Weiss' exposed leg, pulling it up slightly while leaving her hand on Weiss' thigh. The skin contact elicits a moan from Weiss as they kiss. Weiss wraps her arms around Ruby's neck, pulling her in closer. The pair open their lips, allowing their tongues to explore the inside of the other's mouth. Weiss wraps her arms around Ruby's neck, pulling her in closer. After enjoying the feel of her skin on her leg, Ruby's hands slide up Weiss' body until they reach the broach of her bolero jacket. Unfastening it, the jacket starts to separate, exposing Weiss' neck and collar bone. Ruby starts planting kisses along Weiss' jawline, slowly moving down her neck. She stays there a bit longer to nibble on her skin, leaving a hickie of two.

"R-Ruby..." Weiss moans.

Ruby smiles against her skin before trailing kisses across her collarbone while removing her jacket. The pair sit up again, starting a new session of kissing. As they kiss, Weiss reaches up to remove her earrings and then undo her ponytail, allowing her long hair to fall across her back. Ruby pulls her in again, her hands sneaking around to grab her partner's hair. Smooth as silk, if not smoother. Just as Ruby is about to reach back to start taking off some of her clothes, Weiss' hands reach out to stop hers.

"Here... Let me," Weiss mutters against her lips.

She reaches up and slowly, gently removes the wristbands off her arms, never separating her eyes from Ruby's. After those are gone, she helps take off the brown straps on her white blouse, and then the blouse itself. Ruby falls back onto the bed, taking Weiss with her. The former Ice Queen reaches back to remove her high heels and then Ruby's boots. Now with the blouse gone, Weiss takes this opportunity to taste Ruby's neck as well. She kisses all over the exposed skin, gaining new moans from the younger girl beneath her. The thought definitely makes Weiss feel a little hot; to mark Ruby as hers. However, deep down, she wants Ruby to do the same to her. For Ruby to claim her as her own. She runs her hands down Ruby's arms, feeling every inch of her. Meanwhile, Ruby's reach up to untie the white sash wrapped around her waist. Weiss helps her and gets the sash off. Then, she reaches back to pull down the zipper on the back of her dress. The pair sit up again and Ruby lifts Weiss' dress up and over her body, exposing the light blue, strapless bra and matching panties she had underneath. Weiss feels a bit nervous, exposing so much of herself, even to Ruby. However, Ruby just smiles and holds her chin in her hand, pulling her back in for another kiss. As they kiss, Weiss' hands work on the corset around Ruby's body. It takes a few minutes, but she eventually loosens it enough for Ruby to pull it off, revealing a black and red bra underneath. Her belt and skirt don't last much longer after that, revealing a matching pair of panties. As Weiss lays on top of Ruby, she can't stop a slight frown from showing on her face.

"Weiss, is something wrong?" Ruby asks, concerned.

Weiss starts to tear up again at the string of compliments Ruby throws her way. Had it been anyone else, Weiss would see it as empty compliments from people trying to get the perks of her last name, or beneath her skirt. But, hearing them from Ruby, they felt so... real. It warmed her heart that Ruby thought of er that way.

"When I first noticed your eyes, I thought they were shining. I'd never seen anyone with Silver Eyes before. Now I see that they are like your soul, Ruby. A shining light through the darkness. I... I love that about you," Weiss says.

Weiss leans down to kiss Ruby again, which she eagerly returns. As they moan into their kisses, Weiss' fingers wrap around Ruby's boobs, fondling and lightly squeezing them. Weiss settles down upon Ruby, her head under her chin. The two fall fast asleep in each other's arms, now closer than ever.

The next morning, Weiss is finishing up with getting dressed. Still a little tired from the previous night's events, she looks over to see Ruby still sound asleep, and without clothing. Without wanting to wake her, Weiss quietly places a kiss upon her cheek before leaving the room to get some coffee and breakfast. However, as she does, she feels a hand suddenly place her left shoulder in a vice grip.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow! Hey, what's the big... idea?" Weiss turns, only to freeze when she sees it's Yang Xiao Long standing behind her.

"Good morning, Weiss. I think you and I need to talk," Yang says, and while her smile may seem innocent, her red eyes are anything but smiling.

Weiss fell alseep in heaven, only to wake up to hell. Well, it was worth it.

And that's the chapter. Weiss and Ruby had their moment, but that doesn't mean Yang has to like it. Anyway, the next chapter will switch things around a bit, specifically featuring Yang x Weiss with less emotion and just more raw lemon action. Until then, please Read and Review.
