Here's the next chapter of the story. I hope you all like it.

They arrived at the hospital carrying Kimi inside, she immediately went into the emergency room to get her arm treated. Everyone waits for any good news. After time had passed Chas and Kira finally arrived at the hospital. They quickly found everyone with a worried expressions. Stu and Didi stood up as they joined them.

"Chas, Kira. Glad you two are here." Said Stu relieved to see his friend.

"Came as soon Didi called." Said Chas.

"Didi-san! Is Kimi-chan okay?!" Kira asked, worried for her daughter.

"Kimi is fine, Kira. She's with the doctor right now." Didi told her, reassuring her that Kimi is alright.

"Stu what happened? Didi said that Kimi was attack." Chas asked Stu.

"She got bit by a stray dog." Stu told him with Tommy who is sitting by Chuckie listening to their parent's conversation "How bad is it?" Chas asked him.

"It's pretty bad. The injury looks nasty. So, she might need stitches which will leave a nasty scar." Said Stu being honest "Other than that, she'll be alright."

While Tommy watches his parents keep Chas and Kira calm. He turned to Chuckie who been very quiet. Chuckie hasn't spoken a word since they left home. Nor spoke since they arrived at the hospital. Chuckie's impatiently tapping his foot on the floor, with his hands clasping together. Tommy knows that his friend is worried about his sister. If it was his brother Dil, he would go through the same emotions as Chuckie.

Chuckie, however, is trying to keep a calm composer. Tommy decided to break the ice as he looked at the worried brother "Hey, Chuck? How are you holding up?" Tommy asked his best friend.

"My sister is in the infirmary getting her arm checked. What do you think how I'm holding up?" Chuckie asked, keeping a calm composer.

"Hey, Kimi will be okay, man."

"Yeah, Chuckie." Lil joined the conversation "Kimi is a tough gal. She'll be alright."

"Still, I told her not to get close to that dog. You know how Kimi feels about animals. She'll even go great lengths to chain herself to an oak tree, where birds and other forest critters live in." Chuckie told them before putting his hands on his face "And now she's hurt because I didn't try hard enough to stop her."

"Hey, don't blame yourself Chuck. Neither you nor Kimi would've known that the dog would be aggressive." Said Tommy convincing him neither of them are at fault.

"Yeah, man. Bad things happen everytime. Well, mostly for you but…" Lil punched her brother's arm "Ow! What's that for?" Phil looked at his sister.

"Not helping." Said Lil sternly.

"What Phil meant to say… You shouldn't beat yourself up for what happened. Be glad you were there and able bring her back so my folks able to get her to the hospital." Said Tommy.

Tommy hopes his words are enough to ease his friend troubled thoughts. Just then the door opened as Kimi and the doctor joined everyone. With Kimi wearing bandages over where her arm got bitten. Everyone notices Kimi exited the room, Chas and Kira quickly embraced their daughter.

"Kimi! Are you alright?!" Kira hugged her daughter tightly.

"I'm fine, mom." Said Kimi

"How's your arm?" Chas asked her with concern.

"It's sore."

"She's lucky these good folks brought her here in time." Said the doctor.

"Doc, we heard she was attacked by a dog. Does it have…?" Chas was about to say something, but the doctor stopped him "We're not sure. But we did give her a shot on the safe side incase she did catch rabies." Said the doctor as he went on "I'll prescribe some medications for her. All she needs is some rest."

"Thanks doc."

While the parents were occupied with the doctor, the gang checked on Kimi "Are you really okay Kimi?" Lil asked her friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine. My arm is just sore." Kimi told her friends so she wouldn't have them be worried about her.

"You sure?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah, I'll be alright." Kimi replied.

Once Chas and Kira are finished talking to the doctor, Chas turned to Stu and Didi "Thanks again Stu taking care of Kimi." Said Chas.

"It's no problem, Chas. I'm just glad Kimi will make a full recovery." Said Stu happy that Kimi will be alright.

"C'mon kids. We better get home." Kira told her children.

"See ya, guys." Chuckie saying goodbye along with Kimi.

"We'll send you 'Get Well' cards." Said Lil as the Finster's leaving the hospital.

Kimi still clasping her arm as it's throbbing in pain "God it hurts." Kimi thought to herself taking steady breaths "I never had thought getting attack by a dog would hurt so much." Kimi silently sighs as she, her brother, and her parents got in the car "Well, at least the worst is over."

Kimi eyebrow twitched in annoyance "Or not apparently." Kimi is laying in her bed after she and her family got home. Chuckie, of course, being an overprotective brother, tries to make sure his sister is comfortable.

"Okay… does your pillow better? Or does need more…" Chuckie asking making her pillow more comfortable.

"It's fine, Chuck…" Kimi said in a unoptimistic tone.

"Need anything to eat?" Chuckie suggested.

"No… Chuckie would you…"

"Or what about…" Chuckie cuts her off as Kimi pitched the bridge on her nose "Chuckie! Would you calm down, you're acting like a worried Dad." Kimi let out a shout, a bit irritated.

"Sorry, Kimi. I just want to make sure you're nice and relaxed. That's what the doctor suggested." Chuckie told her with a concern tone.

Kimi let out a long sigh, she rubs her temple as her head is starting to hurt "I know you mean well. But, watching you acting more like my caretaker instead my brother. It's making my head hurt."

Chuckie understands but looked at Kimi's bandage arm "How's your arm by the way? Does it still hurt?" Chuckie asked.

Kimi looked at it, gently rubbed it "Yeah, it's still hurt. The painkiller Dad gave me should kick in." Said Kimi letting out a soft grunt. Sweat dripping down her forehead, earlier her mother checked her temperature noticing she caught a fever.

After the dog attack she felt sick. Of course, her arm was in agony. Along with the fact she did lose some amount of blood which left her lightheaded. Her immune system is basically fighting any bacteria inside of her body. But she never thought she would feel so much worse. Not only that, but it's also hard to find any comfort. Her head is pounding, while the pain in her arm isn't dying down even after taking painkillers. Even her body is burning like a furnace. Never on her sick days she felt this bad. Kimi let out discomfort grunts as she laid on her bed and her head resting on her pillow.

Seeing his sister looking quite miserable Chuckie got an idea "Wait here." Said Chuckie as he quickly leaves the room "Isn't like I'm going anywhere." Kimi said sarcastically to herself.

Luckily Kimi wouldn't wait long as Chuckie already return with his hands behind his back "What you got behind your back?" Kimi asks curiously.

"Just someone who will keep you company." Said Chuckie.

Kimi raised a brow "Someone?" She wondered.

Chuckie then revealed it to Kimi which made her look surprised. A old stuff bear that Kimi hasn't seen in years. Chuckie hand it over to Kimi as she looked at it "Is this Wawa?" Kimi asked in surprise "I haven't seen this little fella since we were in what... 3rd Grand? You're giving him to me?" Kimi looked up to her brother who sat down on her bed.

Kimi knows Wawa was a gift from Chuckies real mother. She made him before she passed away when Chuckie was no more but a few months old. Wawa been Chuckies treasure since he was a toddler. Seeing her brother giving his most cherished possession is a surprise to her.

"Well, I thought you needed some company. Someone to be your emotional support." Chuckie commented.

"My emotional support?" Kimi echoed the last two words Chuckie said.

"After what happened earlier tonight. I'm actually worried the encounter would leave a traumatic mark behind." Chuckie explained "Everyone went through something bad that left a mental scar."

"Like Tommy's fear with water?" Kimi remembering Tommy's bad experience he went through as a kid. How that simple day left him traumatized and afraid of water.

Chuckie nodded "Yeah, and I'm afraid that you'll be afraid of dogs from now on."

Kimi lightly chuckled, shaking her head "Come on, Chuckie. Me? Afraid of dogs? I've been around both Spike and Fifi. Grew up with them. There's no way that one bad experience would get me afraid of dogs." Kimi told her brother.

Hearing Kimi comment put a smile on Chuckie face "That's good to hear, sis."

They then hear a knock on the door. Both siblings look to see their dad standing in the doorway "It's time for bed Chuckie. Say goodnight to your sister and hit the hay. She needs lots of rest" Said Chas.

Chuckie nodded as he looked at Kimi "Night Kimi." Saying goodnight.

"Night Chuckie." Kimi saying goodnight as well but thought of something "And Chuck…?"

"Yeah?"

Kimi gave Chuckie a big hugged "Thanks, I'll make sure Wawa is taken care of." Kimi promised.

Chuckie felt a warm feeling as he hugged her back. Once they were done hugging, Chuckie stood up, off of Kimi's bed. Then he exited the bedroom, saying goodnight to his dad. Chas then entered the room and sat on his daughter's bed.

"How are you feeling, sweetie?" Chas asked his daughter.

"Worst actually." Kimi replied groaning.

Chaz felt her forehead "You're burning up. Here" Chas took out a bottle of medicine "Medicine for that fever of yours." Opening it up, pouring some in the lid.

"Yuck! I hate how they taste." Kimi complained.

"I know, everyone doesn't like to take medicine." Said Chas aware that kids around her age aren't fond of medicine "But, at least it'll take care of that fever."

Handing it over to Kimi as she takes it. She moans but quickly gulps it down "Blech! Taste awful!" Kimi making disgusted faces.

"It supposed to taste like that." Chas closing the bottle before kissing her on the forehead "Goodnight sweetie. Get well soon."

"Night Dad." Kimi saying goodnight.

Chas turned the light off and closed the door. Kimi laid back down, she then held up Wawa. Seeing the bear belonging to her brother, she couldn't help but smile. Even though she gets annoyed by her brother, Chuckie couldn't stop melting her heart. She held Wawa close to her chest. Turning to her side before drifting into her sleepy slumber.

Some moments pass as the moon shines brightly in the sky. In the darkness of Kimi's bedroom, Kimi tossing and turning in her bed. Sweating profoundly. Letting out grunts. But her grunts soon turned into growls. Growling in her sleep.

She then scratched the air with her fingers. Letting out angry animalistic growls, gripping her sheets. Suddenly, a glowing mark appeared on her left hand. Showing a pawprint as it glowed under the moon's twilight rays. With a dog howling in the night sky.
