The Journey

Chapter 13: España

"Hey girl, I know you're out with Ray but-" Kira smiled hearing her cousin's voice. Luna sounded chipper and Kira could hear Kai in the background. She wasn't sure what he was doing, maybe talking on the phone or something?

"I actually just left the hotel! I'm heading back to Enrique's to get my suitcase and we, my dear, have an early flight to Spain, eee!" Kira looked around as she crossed the street and did a small jump of excitement. "I can't believe we get to spend time in Spain this year, I'm so excited."

"Me too, believe me. Actually, I was wondering if you would join Kai and I for some breakfast before we go to the airport. We booked a reservation for a place right on the river."

"Oh I'm..." Kira looked around. "actually right on the river. I can go grab the table for you." Kira heard Kai cursing in the background. "You guys are in a taxi, huh?"

"Yeah. I think it's safe to say Kai doesn't like the driving in Italy." Luna giggled and then screamed. "Oh my God! Stai attento! Ci ucciderai!" She cursed and huffed. "The restaurant is Rossopomodoro, we'll probably be there in about five minutes... if this man doesn't kill us first!"

"See you soon, Lune!" Kira laughed and hung up, using her phone as a GPS. Luckily she was actually only about five minutes away. Today she wore a thin white flowy tank top that showed off her tiny, muscular frame, and dark blue, destroyed denim jeans. She had a crystal band in her hair keeping her bangs back, and some black booties on. The heels of her boots clicked along the cobblestone path, the sun shone brightly against her skin, and finally she got to her location. She spoke to the hostess who led her to a booth sort of in the back, but still next to a window so there was a river view. "Hey you two." Kira slid in. "I'm surprised you got here before me." She smiled and looked over at Kai who was definitely disgruntled.

"We just got here not too long before you did." Luna wrapped her arm around Kai's large muscular one and placed her hand on his lap.

"I'm assuming you won't want to be coming back here anytime soon, hm, Kai?" Kira giggled and Kai glared at her.

"The drivers are insane." He grunted at her and picked up his menu. Kira stifled a giggle and nodded.

"You're not wrong..." Kira trailed off, looking at her own menu. "So what was the abrupt meeting for? Not that I'm not happy to spend time with you both..." Luna looked from Kira to Kai who nodded and then back at her cousin.

"Actually there are two reasons we asked you here... we decided on a date and location for the wedding... and something else. We... want to get married while we're in Spain." Luna blushed and Kai was trying to hide his own blush. Kira stared at them surprised, dropping her own menu.

"Are you serious?! That's so exciting!" Kira clasped her hands over her mouth. Luna slid a little jewelry box over to Kira and Kira grabbed it anxiously. "What is this?" She slowly opened it and a small amount of confetti popped out with the words "Will you be my maid of honor?" in gold writing, carved into the box. There was a beautiful small dainty ring sitting inside with a nice sized moonstone, Kira's favorite stone. "Luna! Of course I will!" Kira hopped up and slid in next to Kai and Luna and squeezed her cousin. "I'm so happy for you guys." Kira was trying hard not to cry, but couldn't help as a few tears slipped from her eyes.

"That's not... the only news." Kai told her. Kira peered around Luna to look at him and then back at her cousin.

"Okay...? What else is going on?" Kira sat back on her side of the table and closed the box, sliding it to the side. She looked as Luna pulled out an envelope and slid it over to her. "You guys are so mysterious today..."

"Open it!" Luna said anxiously. Kira cleared her throat, and opened the envelope, slowing pulling out a black and white photo. Her eyes scanned the paper in her hands for a second before she gasped and looked at the two sitting in front of her incredulously.

"You guys are not... oh my god." Kira couldn't hold in the tears any longer. "You guys are having a baby!" She whispered loudly, and looked at her two friends/cousin. Even Kai couldn't contain his smile, as he had a small one on his face and Luna started crying along with Kira. "Oh my God there's gonna be a baby BladeBreaker!" Kira wiped her eyes.

"We're not making it public at least until the tournament is over. I just really wanted you to know." Luna tilted her head and jumped up the same time Kira did to hug her.

"Kai you're gonna be a daddy!" Kira hugged him, much to his dismay after Luna let her go, and he gave a short chuckle.

"Yeah... I sure am." He looked from her to Luna with pure love in his eyes, and Kira felt herself tearing up again.

"España, estamos aqui!" Kira shouted with her hands in the air as her, Luna, Lucy, and Hilary all walked off the plane.

"I still feel kinda weird just leaving Tyson and the boys to themselves..." Hilary frowned, but then took in all of the beauty of the surrounding land with her eyes and gasped. "Wow, it's so beautiful here!"

"No kidding!" Lucy smiled and took a few pictures as they started walking into the airport to get their bags.

"I think Tyson will be fine." Luna smiled at Hilary. "He's a big boy, he can take care of himself."

"Yeah, plus it'll give him a chance to miss having you around." Kira winked at Hilary who blushed.

"I don't know why you guys think anything is going on.. it's not." After they grabbed their suitcases, they found a man with a sign that had the name "Dickenson" on it, and Kira gave a small wave to the guy.

"Kirana Dickenson?" He asked and she nodded. "Perfecto." The girls put their bags on a little trolley he had waiting for them. "My name is Caesar. Enrique is one of my bosses' big clients. He told me to make sure to take good care of you guys. I have champagne waiting in the car and other refreshments if you prefer."

They all walked out to the town car that was waiting for them, and cheers'ed with some champagne, with the exception of Luna, of course.

"To friendship!"

"And beyblading!"

"And music!"

The girls clinked their glasses and they were brought to a huge chateau. The building was made with marble. As you walked into the yard, there was a pool with LED lights in the water, that changed color every so often. The pool was surrounded by an edge of marble and then out beyond that was grass that led to the marble stairway that led to the foyer of the house.

"Wow... all this for us?" Hilary blinked surprised. "How many palaces do these guys have?"

"Well Enrique has one in pretty much every European country at the moment." Kira laughed awkwardly. "His family is basically royalty, so they travel a lot.. and when they're away we get to enjoy."

The driver brought their bags into the house, and then left promptly. Kira looked down to her phone as it went off.

"Hey Ki, we hope to join you soon. Just gotta boost Johnny's spirits, you know how it is. Enjoy the house, you girls can choose your rooms and whatnot. There is maid and butler service, if any problems arise, my security teams' info is on the fridge in the kitchen. I hit them up about you guys a few days ago. Enjoy your time! Miss you and see you soon!" Kira read outloud and smiled at her friends.

Lucy sighed and collapsed on the couch. "Man... plane rides always exhaust me." She found a remote nearby. "Where's the TV?" She asked. Kira shrugged and walked into the kitchen with Luna and Hilary sat on the couch next to Lucy.

"Do you think they'll be battling about now?" Hilary asked, feeling anxious.

"Probably, but honestly, who knows. These things can take crazy turns." Lucy shrugged and turn to the BBN channel. Frankly, even she thought it was strange to not be there in person.

"What's this..." Hilary sat up and leaned in closer to the TV. Ray was on the streets of Italy, outside of the tournament building, with a reporter. "Should we call Kira?"

"Mmmm not yet. Let's see what he's saying. I'd hate to ruin her mood." Lucy shook her head.

"We have Ray Kon of the White Tigers X here with us today! Thank you for speaking with us today, Ray." The woman reporter smiled into the camera. She had a very heavy Italian accent, had long blonde hair and bright green eyes. Ray stood next to her, a cool look in his face.

"It's no problem at all." His hands were in his pockets and he looked sort of nervous. "I actually wanted to clear the air about some things."

"Okay, well let's hear it! We're always excited to hear news from our favorite bladers." The news woman looked at Ray anticipating whatever may come out of his mouth next. Kira came out from the kitchen with a small charcuterie board in hand, and then looked at the tv. Luna was behind her with a random assortment of snacks in hand, and almost ran into her cousin.

"Ki! I almost dropped the pickles." Luna sighed. Kira stepped forward.

"Turn it up.." Kira looked at Lucy and then back to the tv.

"I was never engaged to Mariah..." He sighed on the tv and Kira sighed along with him, the woman interviewing him audibly gasped.

"Oh Ray..." She whispered.

"I'm not going to make any excuses because I chose to make the decision to lie to the public, but I don't want there to be anymore lies or deceit between me or the public or anyone. I'm sorry to anyone who may have been hurt by this information or lie."

"He's such a sweetheart." Luna was sniffling next to Kira and Kira smiled at her.

"Yeah.. he is.."

"Well you heard it here!" Ray looked somewhere offscreen and waved to the camera before walking off. "Ray Kon is officially single... or rather, has always been. Now, getting back you Brad and AJ!" The interviewer smiled and the camera changed to the two announcers. Kira crossed her arms over her chest.

"I wouldn't call him...single exactly."

Lucy looked back at Kira. "I never asked you, how did your night together go?" Kira blushed thinking back to it, and Lucy laughed. "That good, hm?"

"I'm glad it's finally getting better between you guys... I know I didn't know you both before last year, but watching what you two went through, when you so painfully obviously wanted to be together... it hurt all of us to watch." Hilary turned around on the leather couch and smiled sadly at her.

"It's strange, it's like something clicked in both of us. I don't know." Luna leaned against the counter, listening to her, munching on a pickle. "I really can't explain it. I guess.. when Johnny opened up the possibility of having a relationship, my mind kept going back to Ray. What was I leaving behind with Ray? How much I knew I would miss him. I mean, I've experienced that in the past."

"That's because you guys are soul mates." Luna said with a mouth full of pickle. Kira laughed at her as some juice spilled out, and she wiped her chin. "You laugh, but it's true! You two are so drawn to each other, it's crazy! I mean look at all the things that have happened to draw you two together." Luna winked.

"I have to ask..." Lucy smirked and Kira sighed, knowing what was coming. "How was the sex?" She wiggled her brows.

"Oh my God, Lucy!" Kira covered her face and her face and ears turned red.

"What?! I'm curious. You can't blame me." Hilary laughed and smacked Lucy on the shoulder. The girls laughed and ate their snacks, and a bit later, Kira's phone went off and they were on their way to practice.

"And the BBA Revolution wins against Barthez Battalion! And with that, they are out of the tournament!" DJ Jazz was practically screaming with excitement.

"Good job Tyson!" Kenny cheered, but he felt worn out. He wasn't used to being the teams cheerleader and it was weird without Hilary there.

"Thank God those cheaters are out." Ray murmured and Lee nodded.

"No kidding. I don't know how they stayed in so long." Lee nodded. Mariah had trailed off somewhere during the battle.

"Well, let's go get back to training, and then tomorrow we fly out to Spain." Ray stood, and the others joined him.

"Dude, I'm so excited to see the Spanish ladies!" Kevin cheered and Ray sighed.

"We need to focus, Kevin. Not worry about women."

"Yeah says you, you're the one who's getting laid on the regular." Kevin snickered, causing Ray to sigh again.

Kai watched Team Barthez from the stand with the Blitzkreig Boys.

"That Barthez Battalion..." Tala shook his head. "They remind me too much of Boris and the whole operation with him."

"He's in prison..." Kai spoke, watching Tyson interact with his teammate, Jin, and Kenny. It was only a matter of time before they would battle. What would happen? He knew the whole world was waiting to see that battle. Hell, even he was interested to see how it would go. Tyson had come such a long ways since when they first met.

"Unless that's what they want us to think." Bryan murmured and Kai looked at him.

"He is."

"You girls did amazing!" Kira cheered as their song finished up. Soon, she wouldn't be performing on beyblade stages any longer, and she wanted to share this moment and experience with her girls. The girls all actually had pretty good voices, and she knew that they would rock the stage together. Surprisingly enough, Hilary was the one who was most apprehensive to be on stage. Even just singing in front of the crew, she kept stuttering and getting nervous.

"Ehh, I don't know about that." Hilary laughed nervously.

"You did! You just have to get used to people staring at you, and you'll be okay." Kira smiled. "Let's all take a break for a bit, I know Luna wanted to meet with her wedding planner so..."

"Ah! I didn't even see what time it was! I'll see you girls later!" Luna gasped tucking her hair behind her ear and Hilary waved.

"I'll come with! I don't want you going off alone." The two ran off.

"I'm gonna go back to the chateau and get some rest. I'm like, super exhausted." Lucy hopped off the stage, and Kira nodded.

"I think I'm gonna explore Barcelona a bit. I wanna get a feel for this country before we perform here." Lucy leaned on the stage and smiled.

"I love how dedicated you are. Do you mind if I take your beyblade with me? I'm not sure who you're going to be battling next and I want to make sure it's ready." Kira nodded and sat on the edge of the stage, reaching into her pouch for her blade.

"I have an inkling it's going to be Kai... if I even have a team to continue on with." Kira sighed and handed Lucy her blade and Lucy patted Kira's thigh.

"Give him some time, Ki. Johnny was like, madly in love with you. For years. He's not just gonna give up on you or this competition. He wants to win too badly." Lucy smiled.

"I hope you're right..."

"I am! I'll see you back at the chateau! Stay safe, Ki!"

Kira was admiring the city, observing all the sound and music that was coming from different restaurants and venues. There were so many colors, everything was so vibrant. She walked into the town square where music was playing, and she saw a man and woman performing circus moves with music. The man of the pair had bright red hair that was comparable to Johnny's and made eyes that connected with Kira's. He moved to the music in a goofy sort of way and Kira laughed softly, mimicking his moves. The girl, who had long orangey hair noticed what the man was doing and spotted Kira. Her expression was slightly surprised and she stepped I front of the man and shook her head.

"¿Que estas haciendo? ¿sabes quien es?" She spoke sharply and Kira slowly approached them.

"Erm... hola." She waved and smiled. "Yo soy.. umm..."

"You don't need to speak Spanish, I speak English." The girl answered. "Julia. And this is my brother Raul."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kira D-"

"We know who you are. My brother is..." The girl closed her eyes and shook her head, laughing lightly. "My brother is a huge fan."

"Oh, that's wonderful." Kira smiled. "I'm so glad, thank you." She bowed her head.

"You wouldn't happen to have your blade on you, would you? It would be my honor to battle the lovely Kirana, in this rare occasion." Raul had a heavy Spanish accent and stepped to the side of his sister and spoke up. He had a bit of a cocky look on his face, and Kira raised a brow to his question.

"Actually I don't. My friend Lucy took it to work on it... but we can always meet up later and battle when I do have it. We should be in Spain for at least a week, maybe two! I'll have plenty of time."

"That would be so awesome!" Raul clasped his hands together and smiled at his sister. "I knew coming to the square was a good idea today! I told you, hermana."

Kira sighed as she got back to the chateau. It was late, she had stayed out and walked her feet off. To be honest, she was sad that Ray wasn't here with her. She would have loved to have explored the city with him, as Spain wasn't an option for them before. Kai and Luna would be having their wedding soon, and so she really just wanted her man to share this experience with.

She also just wanted to remind herself how good it felt that Ray went out of his way to denounce his relationship with Mariah, something she felt like he had done for her. There had been so much in the air before, but Kira felt sure about his feelings for her now. He basically publicly embarrassed himself... was that his way of saying sorry for lying about the relationship to try and mess up her abilities in this tournament? It certainly felt like it.

Kira climbed up the marble stairs, shivering at the cold feeling on her feet. She couldn't wait to change and crawl into the big comfy bed that awaited her. She went down the hall to her room and opened the door, immediately going to her suitcase. She found a pair of super soft, pink fleece lounge pants and a sports bra to change into and pulled off her top and then her pants.

Behind her, the bathroom light quietly turned off and the door opened. Ray's eyes widened as he saw Kira undressing in front of him, and he leaned against the doorframe. His golden eyes, though exhausted and weary, trailed down her body as she bent over to pull on her pants and then slid on her sports bra. She pulled her hair out of the bra and flopped back on the bed, with her arms wide open. She sighed, looking at her phone and opened her messages. "Still nothing...?" She frowned and went into her texts with Ray. 'I miss you...' She typed and Ray held his phone against his hand in his pocket so she wouldn't hear the vibration. He saw her put the phone down and close her eyes.

'How did she not notice me...?' He smirked and climbed onto the bed slowly and Kira's eyes shot open and she jumped up and jumped onto his back putting him into a chokehold, and then when she realized who it was she shrieked.

"Oh my God! Ray!" She let him out of the chokehold and hugged his back, wrapping her legs around him. "What are you doing here?!"

"I wanted to surprise you, but if I had known you were going to try to kill me, I would have given you a heads up." He laughed and she sat up, and gave him a proper hug and they laid down on the bed together. "I'm glad to see all of our training is paying off though."

"Mmmmm..." Kira smiled as she rubbed her head on his chest. She could feel him rubbing her head softly. It was super comforting, especially with his touch. "I missed you so much. I know we were only apart for a little bit, but... ugh I miss traveling together."

"I know.. thankfully there's only a few more stops of the tournament left and then..."

"And then what?" Kira gulped softly and looked up at him. Last time they didn't even make it to the end of the tournament, and she could feel her heart hurting at the memory of walking away from her at the ball. Then when he left and didn't even say bye to her. It was all a miscommunication issue, but it still hurt her.

"I'm not sure yet..." Ray replied to her softly. She could see him staring up at the ceiling, probably trying to find the words to say whatever he was thinking.

"I doubt we'll be able to go live with Tyson, and I don't think you want to settle in Japan anyways... do you?"

"I mean I do love it there but..."

"But you would miss your village."

"But there's also your music career to think about." Ray looked down at her and their eyes connected. She nodded. It was finally picking up for her, and she definitely wasn't finished making music. Whilst she didn't have the inspiration of heartbreak anymore, there was still so much she wanted to sing about.

"Oh!" She jumped up and sat cross legged in front of him, beaming. "I need to tell you something!"

"Okay..." He laughed and sat up with her, leaning back against the headboard.

"I had lunch with Kai and Luna today. They finally picked a date for their wedding, they want to get married while we're here in Spain."

"Yeah.. Kai stopped me and awkwardly asked me to be his best man..." Ray chuckled and Kira felt herself dying from cuteness at the thought of Kai asking... no probably demanding Ray politely to be his best man. And of course, Ray would never say no to him. Even despite the circumstances.

"Well that's not the only news." Kira bit her lip, and Ray looked at her expectantly. "Luna's pregnant." She whispered so quietly, that no person with normal hearing could hear her, but she knew that Ray could. His eyes widened and she nodded.

"You're kidding."

"Not in the slightest!" Kira clasped her hands together. "They want to keep it a secret though, understandably. I don't think Kai could handle all the pressure of the media knowing. He might actually burst." She laughed and Ray nodded, agreeing.

"I just can't imagine Kai as a dad, that's crazy." Kira laid back on Ray's chest and closed her eyes.

"I'm happy for him. He never had parental support as a kid, so I think seeing Luna as a mom, and his chance to be there for his child will be very therapeutic for him." She slowed her breathing and listened to his heart beat rhythmically in his chest. "Umm.. so I saw what you did on TV today." Ray had been softly rubbing small circles on her naked back and he stopped once she said that.

"Oh... you did, huh?" Ray blushed and Kira tilted her head to look up at him.

"Yeah... just.. thank you for clearing the air on all that." Kira leaned up on her arm and softly brushed some hair out of his face. "I was worried about what people might say if we were ever out together in public. Although now Mariah's fans may argue that I stole you from her." Kira laughed. She leaned in and kissed him softly, but he placed one of his hand on the back of her head, keeping her in her place. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and a leg around his waist as he turned on his side and placed his other hand on her waist. He deepened the kiss and she moaned into his mouth as she felt a burning fire in her chest.

Ray pulled back from the kiss. "I love you Kira, I would do pretty much anything for you... even humiliate myself on TV."

"Oh I'm sure Mariah was pissed."

"That's... the understatement of the year." He shook his head and they both laughed.

Kira had passed out on Ray's chest as they talked over different things, and the next morning came too quickly. Her normal wake up time was before dawn, but she just enjoyed laying in bed, listening to the sound of Ray snoring softly.

She decided a little bit later to get up and saw a note lying on the floor next to her door. She walked over and saw "meet me in the living room please." written on it in Johnny's handwriting.

'So they were finally here...' she thought to herself and put on a sweater over her sports bra and walked downstairs. Johnny was laying on the couch, watching some TV as she came down and he peeked up over the couch as she appeared. "Morning."

"Hey..." Johnny looked up over at her and waved before laying back down, and Kira sat down on the other edge of the couch next to her.

"I'm glad to see you guys made it here safely." Kira looked down at her hands and twiddled her fingers.

"I just..." Johnny sat up and sighed, leaning against his knees with his elbows. "I wanted you to know that I'm okay with yours and Ray's relationship... and I'm going to try not to make this awkward." Kira breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed Johnny in a hug.

'Thank you...' she whispered to him in his mind.

'But... to be fair to Ray, I believe we should cut this off.' Johnny replied to her in his mind. "If.. I were dating someone and they could do this with someone, I would feel uncomfortable and self-conscious about it." Kira bit her lip and drew back from the hug. She nodded.

"I agree... it's only fair." She smiled at him and then heard someone coming down the stairs, yawning.

"Hey Ki, do you want some breakfast? I saw last night there were-..." Ray stopped at the edge of the stairs, rubbing his eyes and stretched, then saw Kira and Johnny by the couch. "Oh.. hey... Johnny." He looked around awkwardly and Johnny stood, clearing his throat.

"I'll.. get out of your hair. I'm glad we had this talk, Ki." He started making his way to a different part of the house, but Kira stepped in front of him.

"No Johnny, please stay. Ray and I... will make breakfast and you guys can get to know each other better. That's all I've ever wanted... please." Kira pleaded with him, blinking and making her eyes as wide as she could.

"You can't say no to those eyes." Ray chuckled, still standing next to the stairs. "I'm gonna go run and grab a shirt."

Ray and Johnny were chuckling, and Kira was at the expense of whatever joke they made, but they were getting along and... enjoying each other's company? So she didn't mind it too much.

"And then she ran into it head first and was covered in blue paint for a week. Not only did we have photos the next day, but man was she peeved." Johnny smirked at Kira as she drank her coffee, and she glared at him while looking around her class.

"Screw you! That was supposed to be a Majestic's secret." She huffed and both Ray and Johnny chuckled. Finally, others were starting to wake up in the house.

"Heya! Whatcha eating?" Max ran down the stairs, his hair in every direction, and he slid in his socks over to the island where Kira, Ray, and Johnny were all seated. He looked at the counter and raised a brow. "What a weird breakfast... beans?" They were eating baked beans, eggs, sausage, fried tomato, and toast.

"Sorry you Americans don't know what a proper breakfast is but-" Johnny scoffed and Kira sighed.

"Johnny..."

"To be fair, this is super strange. Where I'm from we normally just eat congee, stuffed buns, or jianbing." Ray sighed, thinking about his home cuisine. Max made himself a plate of the "strange" breakfast.

"Oh God, what is that smell?" Luna came from the direction behind the kitchen with a sour look on her face. "It smells horrible in here." She looked at the countertop and made a motion that she was going to vomit. "Gotta go!" She darted back to her room and ran past Kai who sighed.

"Is there any ginger ale or anything?" He looked at the crowd in the kitchen, who were all watching the scene with wide eyes.

"Uhhh..." Ray got up and walked to the fridge, scanning it for anything similar. "Here you go... actually Kai can I talk to you."

"Let me go take this to Luna and make sure she's okay, first." He nodded and then went back to Luna and his room.

"Everything okay?" Kira called out to Ray and he nodded, but he could feel his nerves growing and tried to take a deep breath to calm himself down. He saw Kai coming down the hall again and motioned with his head to the front yard where the pool was. Kai followed him out and Johnny looked at Kira curiously and she shrugged.

"Wow, this is actually delicious! I take it back, Johnny! This is amazing." Max cheered, stuffing some more food into his face, resembling Tyson a bit.

"Told ya. Americans shouldn't knock it before ya try it."

"So... what do you need?" Kai asked him, crossing his arms. It was a bit chilly that morning, the sky was still cloudy and there was dew still on the grass.

Ray let out a small sigh and took a small box out of his pocket. "I didn't get a chance to show you the other day. Kira doesn't really have any other people in her life to represent her family. I was planning on talking to the Majestics later but..." Ray opened the box and waited on Kai's reaction. "What do you think?" The aquamarine shone in the sunlight and Kai looked from the ring to Ray's face.

"Ray... if you do this, you can't leave her again. She won't forgive you." What kind of a reaction was that? Ray looked back down to the ring and closed the box.

"I have no intention of leaving her."

"You've said that to me before, and look what happened after the last tournament. One minimal problem and you took off without saying a single word. You didn't see the pain that that caused her, but the rest of us did. I know you love her, the same way that she loves you. I can see it on your face when you look at her... but before you do this, I want you to make sure that not only you and her are ready, but your relationship, too." Kai softened his expression and added, "But I approve. I know trying to keep you two apart is pointless. You'll always find your way back together."

That was the most that Ray had heard Kai say all at once in a very long time. He took everything in, and nodded.

"I understand, and I will. Thanks Kai.." Ray put the ring box back in his pocket and clasped hands with Kai before the boys headed back into the kitchen. Ray walked back over to Kira and sat back down next to her.

"You okay?" She asked, taking a bite of her food and he smiled at her, kissing her on the cheek.

"Never better."

Mariah growled to herself as she paced up and down the sidewalk a little less than a block from the house the BladeBreakers, Majestics, Max, Kai and all of them were staying at. Ray had invited the White Tigers over, minus her. After the stunt he had pulled on camera the other day, she wanted nothing more than to get some dirt on Kira. There had to be something to stop the two from being together... and who knew how long until Ray planned to pop the question. "This is such bullshit! I should be invited to this pool party!" Mariah pulled out her phone and gave her insider a call.

"Hello?" Amara answered. She was sitting at the bar next to the pool. Max and Tyson were playing around in the pool. Tyson had reluctantly come after almost everyone asking him to come over, Kira and Luna were sunbathing, and Kai had just come back from getting Luna a green smoothie. Ray was practicing Kung Fu with Lee and Kevin. Lucy was sitting next to Kenny in the sunlight, taking notes from each other's work, and all the Majestic's were lounging around by the pool.

"Hey, can you let me in? Ray's temporarily banned me from the house and I can't figure out the code." Amara looked around and noticed no one was paying attention to her, so she got up and walked over to the side door.

"I'm here, are you ready?" Amara whispered and opened the gate for Mariah.

"Geez, this place is locked up, tight. Wow... holy cow! Look at this house!"

"Hey, quiet down. They may be having a pool party but-"

"Yeah yeah, I know." Mariah waved her off. "Alright let's get looking! Which room is she staying in?" Mariah and Amara walked into the house, trying to stay out of view.

"I don't know! I just got here a few hours ago." Amara sighed. She was feeling nervous. Mariah was such a loose cannon.

"Ray! Ray! No! Put me down! AH!" They heard Kira scream and then a huge splash and Mariah peered through the glass window, seeing her Kira's head pop out of the water, and her hands waving at Ray. "Why did you do that?!"

Ray was laughing and then jumped in after her.

"Grrrr..." Mariah seethed. "I'm gonna start downstairs, you go upstairs." Mariah stormed off towards the room attached to the kitchen and Amara watched her, sighing.

"God... I hope they don't come inside anytime soon." Amara hurried up the stairs and looked through the rooms until she found Ray and Kira's stuff. "Jackpot."

Meanwhile, Mariah was searching through Kai and Luna's stuff. "I know it's not Kira's stuff but...she's related to Kira, so maybe I can find something." She looked over on the nightstand and her eyes widened. Luna's phone. "Jackpot..."

Amara was searching high and low through Ray and Kira's stuff, but there was literally nothing. Enhancers, nope. Any type of drug, nope. Didn't they know how to have fun? Amara ran her hands through her hair. She could probably get stuff to plant on Kira and get her kicked out of the tournament... but then again her grandpa was the chairman. That wasn't likely to happen. She sat on the bed and sighed, then her phone went off. "Hello?"

"I've got exactly what we need." Mariah smirked, looking at texts on Luna's phone.

Ahhhh okay! I promise I'm not going to villainize Mariah forever. At this point, she's just desperate, and doesn't know Amara's connection to Barthez, so she doesn't know the potential danger Kira could be in.
