Someone needs to talk some sense into the Time Lord, so why not Mickey the idiot? Of course, it goes downhill rather quickly when The Doctor fires his fist into Mickey's face. Oneshot, kind of Whumpy. Nice bit of fluff at the end, though.

Imagine doing amazing things, all the time, without a care in the world as to responsibility or taxes or boyfriends or money or mundaneness. Imagine living your life like no one else does- completely, utterly, and totally, free. Now. Imagine getting a job. Imagine watching the telly. Imagine eating chips. Imagine being told what to do by your mum and dad. Just imagine.
