He didn't plan on meeting a sullen teenager, the Doctor's daughter, a widowed nurse and his little girl, or a mentally unstable human-Time Lord MetaCrisis. He didn't plan on having a family again.

Donna goes missing, and the Doctor goes looking for her, and finds much more than he expected. Occurs after JE, disregards EoT and most of what comes in S5, S6, and probably S7 too, so we'll consider this very much an AU kind of thing.
