Courage ("Winnie the Pooh")
The first word that came to mind when Piglet's friends thought of him was not brave. Nor courageous. Not even strong. But that didn't bother anyone, least of all Piglet. Well, it didn't any longer. It had taken an adventure in the woods to a rock shaped like a skull to realize that Piglet was braver than he believed. At least, most of the time.
There were still times when Piglet didn't want to climb his tree for acorns, or hid behind Pooh when Tigger jumped out to pounce on them.
But Christopher Robin was always there to remind Piglet everything would be okay. The One Hundred Acre Woods was a safe place, even when Christopher Robin was at Skull – School. Piglet always forgot to call it that. One would think he'd remember after over a year of the new schedule.
Summer was the best time, for Christopher Robin spent weeks with the residents of the woods. Days were full of adventures and nights so starry, Piglet could stay up all night pointing out the constellations, or at least the ones Christopher Robin knew the names of.
Pooh was happiest in the summer, too. Which of course made Piglet happy. Wherever Pooh went, Piglet was sure to follow. Most times. With the new schedule, Piglet found he enjoyed spending time alone doing fun things, like reading, cleaning, baking, and knitting. Not brave things. Not like Tigger or even Pooh. But Piglet didn't care so much about those things.
Piglet knew who he was and his place in the One Hundred Acre Woods. There was no place he'd rather be.
