After the fall of Beacon everything was supposed to change, however due to a few seemingly small actions the stalemate between Ozma and Salem persisted. Now a new generation must step up to finish what their parents started while dealing with the demons of their pasts. [AU]

Jaune was given some generic advice upon moving into his new home for the first. Always check the stove, make sure you lock up properly, turn off lights you aren't using to save on electric, so on and so forth. None of them told him how to deal with a strange, unexpected housemate who lived in his walls and didn't pay rent. Now if only he could find his dang hoodie...
