Over a hundred views special Q and A!

Hi guys so I found that some things were obscure in the story or I had some things you may find interesting to read! So I'm going to do a short Q and A to address some points I didn't get to put into the story or to explain a few things that may be obscure.

Questions for the Author:

When do uploads come out?

So my writing process is I do a short draft, then it becomes a longer draft and then I proof it to make sure it's good enough to post. I have had to restructure the story a few times and redo a few chapters because it was either too weak, dragged on or I didn't like it.

Why Digimon? Do you plan on making your own stories?

I love Digimon! I always wanted to make my own fanfiction for Digimon and some friends said I should post it online and try to get better at writing. I do have tons of stories I want to write one day but I don't feel confident as a writer yet.

Biggest Question: Why don't you describe the characters?

So I didn't put a description of the characters because I can't draw people very well. I found most people would rather imagine their own characters or use a random anime character to fit in the imagination. But, I did want to put down their ethnicity at least in this Q and A because Digimon is a Japanese product and very Japanese base. Unfortunately with anime and Japanese related things they struggle to dig outside of their country and even though occasionally animes and mangas do put 'American' as a title it's just a stereotype and not very realistic.

What are the symbols or the representation for?

So Digimon has a thing where each tamer represents something about their character. The rangers all represent the powers of life, this will all come back later on in the story and make more sense. But right now I will say the symbols give them special abilities they use to fight with their Digimon. The origin of the Ranger suits will make more sense later down the line for Anakai may have created them but they are based on ancient suits made for the humans who can wear them. I didn't get a chance to really get into the symbols and representation but I hope this answer will suffice for now. Rei does have a symbol but I won't reveal it now unless you can figure out her strongest personality trait.

Character Descriptions:

First generation immigrants from 'redacted' European country under heavy military control and unrest: Frankie is a tall, lanky curly haired young adult, he was born in said country. Milo was born in America he is a brown haired young teenager with freckles. Bugsy has reddish brown hair, lightest skin tone out of the three brothers and is a young child.

Yvette is Ukrainian/Russian mix, she enjoys wearing her name brand clothes and has platinum hair. She is also quite tall and slightly younger than frankie but almost an adult. Hina is not blood related to Yvette, their parents married into each other. Hina is American and looks like a dirty blond, Caucasian girl with a calm and blunt demeanor.

Kayden is a dark haired, pale skin Japanese American. He resembles his father with his dark eyes and medium length, greasy, straight down hair. His sister Ria resembles her mother as a black Japanese American, with long curly hair and light brown skin. Kayden is in his mid-teens and Ria is a few years younger as a tween. Ria loves her family and never got the chance to really get to know her brother because Kayden ran away to the digital world.

*Why didn't Tomoki bring him back?

Because Kayden is evasive and Leokumon helped with this out of pure spite and his promise to Rei. Leokumon REALLY hates Tomoki which will be revealed why in later chapters.

Rangers:

Abe + Cain: Both are jewish brothers Abe has stronger morals than Cain who is just trigger happy. They balance each other out as Abe is the holder of justice and Cain is the holder of loyalty. Abe is the shorter and younger brother of Cain.

Sumati: She is Indian American, she was born in America but lived back and forth between her countries. She has medium dark hair usually put in a bun. She takes shit from no one, especially men. She is determined to break the cycle of allow men to control her life and her choices. This earned her Bravery.

Chang: He's a straight up ninja, no one knows much about him but he's short like 4'9. He wears a ninja costume all the time and rarely says a thing. Hence his friend is a plant but he resembles perseverance because he will hold a grudge forever. Like he will remember everything.

Anakai 'Rusty': He's purely Japanese but, he isn't traditional in any sense. Sincerity is his symbol as he will never lie and will always be true to a fault. He is strange, a genius and kinda mean sometimes. He's about average height 5'4, Dark short hair (He doesn't like upkeeping long hair) and pretty brown eyes.

Tomoki: He is purely Japanese as well. I can't say much about him yet, there will be a full chapter with him coming out pretty soon. But, he's 5'5 with long black hair and a scruffy short beard. (Has not been taking care of himself that well, the man is stressed AF). He looks like an adult version of Kayden and has dead black eyes when you look at him. He is very skinny but also really toned. His personality is twisted and strange. Both he and Anakai get along really well for they have known each other since they were kids and never been apart aside from the occasional drunken fight or disagreements. (Friends fight sometimes).

Story Obscurities:

At the end of A2 C9, they are floating through digital space and Rei just woke up from a coma. This entire time she had just been floating through digital space unconscious inside of an egg. The power from Warteratrilomon had caused the entire server to crash and break into millions of bytes of data that now floats as dead space in digital space. (You know when you have that mysterious memory on your computer but you don't know how to fix it or get rid of it? It's fragmented data).

Digital Space is everything in between servers that links everything together like an entire universe. Think Appli's concept of phone apps but with servers being linked around different parts of the internet. I have to fill in some obscurities of the digital world lore (I couldn't find much explanation) and space was one of those.

Yes A2 C8 was a bit rushed at the end because I wanted to do a musical number but that's too hard to write so I went with something else. A2 C9 was supposed to be the continuation of that but it was not ready yet. Riley's story came out because I wanted to make up for missing a few weeks.

Diary of a mad green Digimon will be told from Dexter's perspective. Why is he named Dexter you ask? Because in English the Dex line is called Dex line. How can you not look at him and not think Dexter's laboratory vibes.

Arc 1 was me testing the waters, I know it's a bit of a drag until Arc 2 came out I planned only 3 Arcs but there may be a 4th depending on how it proceeds. Much of the story is summarized on my end but things aren't set in stone and may change a little bit. But when it's released I'm sticking to it so that's partially why I don't release every week as much and it may take a month or so to come out with the next Arc after this one is complete.

Conclusion:
