After leaving, I take Lincoln downtown in my yellow Jeep. Forget about the vehicle being a Willys MB. I looked at this video showing the problem with it when it comes to commercial availability in regards to civilians and not Armed Forces agents driving it.
I was thinking it could be a different Jeep. One that really does have windows that can be controlled, a retractable roof for certain moments, is lightweight, an engine hood that can be used for picnic tables when safe (or cooking when hot, probably not), retractable doors probably for off-road- Wait. Screw retractable doors. The doors will be most important. Could've been an old CJ-7, remodeled and restructured to run on solar and other alternative sources of energy with storage of extra energy for night-time driving, to include seatbelts cause one can never be too careful, and a modern radio/speaker system for drivers and passengers to use Pandora and Spotify to listen to music. And maybe some modifications allowing it to have buoyancy and a propeller. like the Terrawind Amphibious Motorcoach. During the original writing of this chapter, I just discovered that amphibious jeeps exist.
Aside from that, we go to the movies. There are two options. The Galaxy Theaters in Tulare, or the Regal Cinemas multiplex in the downtown district. If I was to take Lincoln to the Tulare multiplex cinema, it would be for the purpose of showing him a throwback screening of Spielberg and Benchley's Jaws, which you might likely be familiar with already. If I was to take Lincoln to the downtown multiplex, it would be for the purpose of seeing the premiere of Martin Scorsese's newest project.
The Galaxy Theaters has rooms with luxury seating, and refreshments like popcorn, candies, soft drinks, nachos, sliders from White Castle, large soft pretzels, top 'n' go snacks courtesy of Frito-Lay, mini pizzas from Freschetta, etc. You can look up images on Google Maps for more information on the refreshments. The regal cinemas multiplex in downtown Visalia would serve the same things, except for the sliders. Other refreshments are listed on the Regal Entertainment website. They include cookie dough from Doughlish, gooey bites from Cinnabon, gourmet mini-pizzas from Freschetta, mini corn dogs from Nathan's, and boneless chicken wings from Tyson. Other beverages include different flavors of ICEE. Whatever refreshments you think Lincoln would pick at which theater is up to you, as long as you know him well enough.
Now, all of you already know what Jaws is, so I used a lot of videos from CineRanter, who doesn't really do rants compared to Cypher the Cynical Historian. His videos regard the upcoming project from Martin Scorsese called "Killers of the Flower Moon", based on a book regarding William Hale's orchestrated murders of wealthy Osage people and the rise of the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover during the 1920s, even though the Federal Bureau of Investigations was formed in 1908, the events of the film being detailed in a non-fiction book the film is based on, with the author of the said book being David Graham.
This project is to be Scorsese's first, and likely/obviously only western, though CineRanter has evidence that Scorsese might not focus on the western aspects, but instead do what he has done when he directed Silence and The Irishman, which is showing one man like William Hale losing his sanity and orchestrating the murders, during the time, which I'm hoping Scorsese knows, that Joseph Stalin was in charge of the U.S.S.R. and slaughtering all who disagreed with him.
If you look at the following videos, you'll notice how "Killers of the Flower Moon" might share similarities to the movie "Joker" starring Joaquin Phoenix, which Scorsese was originally attached to direct. Confirmed starts include Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert de Niro, who Scorsese has worked with countless times before. Newcomers include this one person I'm not familiar with named Jim Mitchell. Look him up on IMDb, and maybe you can create a Wikipedia article dedicated to him. Distributors for the film include Paramount Pictures and Apple TV+. As of recent information, the stars include Jesse Plemons as Tom White, Leonardo DiCaprio as Ernest Burkhart, Robert De Niro as William Hale, and the lead female star, Lily Gladstone, as Mollie Burkhart. The screenwriter is Eric Roth, who co-wrote the screenplay for Spielberg's Munich with Tony Kushner, and is best known for Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and A Star is Born, all three I'm familiar with, but Forrest Gump I've actually seen. Roth has also co-written the screenplay for the upcoming adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune, with the director, Denis Villeneuve, and Jon Spaihts as the other two co-writers.
If Lincoln was to see this film with me when it comes out, he might actually see an example of one individual's brutality against an entire group and likely be scarred. Unless I do something about it. Tell him that the world might be in a state of chaos in some way, but there are some still parts about it, and things might actually change for different regions and people. Seeing how filming is expected to begin in early 2021, how films running for an hour or two take a year to produce, and how release dates are optional, the release date is expected to be sometime in 2022, ruining my chance, so I'd pretty much take Lincoln to the Tulare theater to see Jaws. And ask him what he thinks Lucy, Haiku, and Kat would think of the film if they were to ever see it.
To be continued...
